ଗୀତସଂହିତା 3
1 ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଆପଣା ପୁତ୍ର ଅବଶାଲୋମ ନିକଟରୁ ପଳାୟନକାଳୀନ ଗୀତ। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋହର ବିପକ୍ଷମାନେ କିପରି ବଢ଼ିଅଛନ୍ତି। ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଉତ୍ଥିତ ଲୋକ ଅନେକ।
Jehovah, how my adversaries are increased! Many are those who rise up against me.
2 ଅନେକେ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣ ବିଷୟରେ କହନ୍ତି, ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ତାହା ପାଇଁ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ନାହିଁ। (ସେଲା)
Many there are who say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. (Selah)
3 ମାତ୍ର ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ଢାଲ ସ୍ୱରୂପ; ମୋହର ଗୌରବ ଓ ମୋʼ ମସ୍ତକ ଉଠାଇବା କର୍ତ୍ତା ଅଟ।
But thou, O Jehovah, are a shield about me, my glory and he who lifts up of my head.
4 ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ରବରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଡାକେ, ପୁଣି, ସେ ଆପଣା ପବିତ୍ର ପର୍ବତରୁ ମୋତେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଅନ୍ତି। (ସେଲା)
I cry to Jehovah with my voice, and he answers me out of his holy hill. (Selah)
5 ମୁଁ ଶୟନ କରି ନିଦ୍ରାଗତ ହେଲି; ମୁଁ ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହେଲି; କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋତେ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି।
I laid down and slept. I awoke, for Jehovah sustains me.
6 ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ପରିବେଷ୍ଟିତ ଅୟୁତ ଅୟୁତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରିବି ନାହିଁ।
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of the people who have set themselves against me round about.
7 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଉଠ; ହେ ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୋତେ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ କର। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ଶତ୍ରୁ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ କଳହାଡ଼ରେ ଆଘାତ କରିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କ ଦନ୍ତ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇଅଛ।
Arise, O Jehovah. Save me, O my God. For thou have smitten all my enemies upon the cheek bone. Thou have broken the teeth of the wicked.
8 ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଅଧିକାର; ତୁମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ବର୍ତ୍ତୁ। (ସେଲା)
Salvation belongs to Jehovah. Thy blessing be upon thy people. (Selah)
