ଗୀତସଂହିତା 26
1 ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋହର ବିଚାର କର, କାରଣ ମୁଁ ନିଜ ସିଦ୍ଧତାରେ ଆଚରଣ କରିଅଛି; ମଧ୍ୟ ମୁଁ ଅଟଳ ଭାବରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଶରଣ ନେଇଅଛି।
Yahweh, show that I (am innocent/have not done what is wrong). I always do what is right; I have trusted in you and never doubted [that you would help me].
2 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋତେ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରି ପ୍ରମାଣ ନିଅ; ମୋର ମର୍ମ ଓ ଚିତ୍ତ ପରିଷ୍କାର କର।
Yahweh, examine what I have done and test me; thoroughly evaluate what I think [IDM].
3 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସ୍ନେହପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣା ମୋʼ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିଗୋଚରରେ ଅଛି; ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସତ୍ୟତାରେ ଆଚରଣ କରିଅଛି।
I never forget that you faithfully love me, I conduct my life according to your truth.
4 ମୁଁ ଅସାର ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବସି ନାହିଁ; କିଅବା ମୁଁ କପଟୀମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଗମନ କରିବି ନାହିଁ।
I do not spend my time with liars and I stay away from hypocrites.
5 ମୁଁ ଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ସମାଜକୁ ଘୃଣା କରେ, ପୁଣି, ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବସିବି ନାହିଁ।
I do not like to be with evil people, and I avoid wicked people.
6 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଯେପରି ମୁଁ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ-ସ୍ୱର ଶୁଣାଇବି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ କ୍ରିୟାସକଳ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରିବି,
Yahweh, I wash my hands to show that I (am innocent/have not done what was wrong). As I join with others marching around your altar,
7 ଏଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷତାରେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ପ୍ରକ୍ଷାଳନ କରି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦି ପ୍ରଦକ୍ଷିଣ କରିବି।
we sing songs to thank you, and we tell others the wonderful things that you [have done].
8 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନିବାସ-ଗୃହକୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗୌରବର ବାସସ୍ଥାନକୁ ସ୍ନେହ କରେ।
Yahweh, I love [to be in] the temple where you live, in the place where your glory appears.
9 ପାପୀମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ କିଅବା ରକ୍ତପାତକାରୀ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ମୋʼ ଜୀବନକୁ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କର ନାହିଁ।
Do not get rid of me like you get rid of sinners; do not cause me to die like you cause those who murder [MTY] people to die,
10 ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ଅନିଷ୍ଟ ଥାଏ, ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ ଲାଞ୍ଚରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ।
and people who [SYN] are ready to do wicked things and people who are always taking bribes.
11 ମାତ୍ର ମୁଁ ନିଜ ସିଦ୍ଧତାରେ ଆଚରଣ କରିବି; ମୋତେ ମୁକ୍ତ କର ଓ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରତି ସଦୟ ହୁଅ।
But as for me, I always try to do what is right. So be kind to me and rescue me.
12 ମୋʼ ଚରଣ ସମଭୂମିରେ ଠିଆ ହେଉଅଛି; ମୁଁ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ କରିବି।
I stand in places where I am safe, and when [all your people] gather together, I praise you.
