1 ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଆପଣା ମନ ଉଠାଏ।

2 ହେ ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ ଶରଣ ନିଏ, ମୋତେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେବାକୁ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ; ମୋହର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ମୋʼ ଉପରେ ଉଲ୍ଲାସ ନ କରନ୍ତୁ।

3 ହଁ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅନୁସରଣ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର କେହି ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେବେ ନାହିଁ; ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅକାରଣରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସଘାତକତା କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେବେ।

4 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଥସବୁ ମୋତେ ଦେଖାଅ; ତୁମ୍ଭର ମାର୍ଗସବୁ ମୋତେ ଶିଖାଅ।

5 ତୁମ୍ଭ ସତ୍ୟତାରେ ମୋତେ କଢ଼ାଇ ନିଅ ଓ ମୋତେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଅ; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ପରିତ୍ରାଣର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଟ; ମୁଁ ସାରାଦିନ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅନୁସରଣ କରେ।

6 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୟା ଓ ସ୍ନେହପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣା ସ୍ମରଣ କର। କାରଣ ତାହା ଅନାଦିକାଳୀନ।

7 ମୋʼ ଯୌବନ କାଳର ପାପ ଓ ଅଧର୍ମସବୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କର ନାହିଁ; ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାର ମଙ୍ଗଳଭାବ ସକାଶୁ ନିଜ ସ୍ନେହପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣାନୁସାରେ ମୋତେ ସ୍ମରଣ କର।

8 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମଙ୍ଗଳମୟ ଓ ସରଳ ଅଟନ୍ତି; ଏହେତୁ ସେ ପାପୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଥ ବିଷୟରେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେବେ।

12 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରିବା ଲୋକ କିଏ? ସେ ତାହାକୁ ତାହାର ଇଷ୍ଟ ପଥରେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେବେ।

15 ସଦାବେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଡ଼େ ମୋହର ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ଥାଏ; କାରଣ ସେ ଜାଲରୁ ମୋହର ଚରଣ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବେ।
