ଗୀତସଂହିତା 21
1 ପ୍ରଧାନ ବାଦ୍ୟକର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ରାଜା ତୁମ୍ଭ ବଳରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରିବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରିତ୍ରାଣରେ ସେ କେଡ଼େ ମହାନନ୍ଦ କରିବେ!
For the end, a Psalm of David. O Lord, the king shall rejoice in thy strength; and in thy salvation he shall greatly exult.
2 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କ ମନର ବାଞ୍ଛା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଅଛ, ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ମୁଖର ନିବେଦନ ଅସ୍ୱୀକାର କରି ନାହଁ। (ସେଲା)
Thou hast granted him the desire of his soul, and hast not withheld from him the request of his lips. (Pause)
3 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନାନା ମଙ୍ଗଳ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ଘେନି ତାଙ୍କର ସମ୍ମୁଖବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହେଉଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାଙ୍କ ମସ୍ତକରେ ଶୁଦ୍ଧ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମୁକୁଟ ଦେଉଅଛ।
For thou hast prevented him with blessings of goodness: thou has set upon his head a crown of precious stone.
4 ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ଜୀବନ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦେଲ; ଆହୁରି, ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଦୀର୍ଘାୟୁ ଦାନ କଲ।
He asked life of thee, and thou gavest him length of days for ever and ever.
5 ତୁମ୍ଭ କୃତ ପରିତ୍ରାଣରେ ତାଙ୍କର ମହାଗୌରବ ହୋଇଅଛି; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ସମ୍ଭ୍ରମ ଓ ପ୍ରତାପ ଅର୍ପଣ କରୁଅଛ;
His glory is great in thy salvation: thou wilt crown him with glory and majesty.
6 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ସଦାକାଳ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦଯୁକ୍ତ କରୁଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଶ୍ରୀଛାମୁର ଆନନ୍ଦରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଉଲ୍ଲସିତ କରୁଅଛ।
For thou wilt give him a blessing for ever and ever: thou wilt gladden him with joy with thy countenance.
7 କାରଣ ରାଜା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରନ୍ତି, ପୁଣି, ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥଙ୍କ ସ୍ନେହପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣା ହେତୁରୁ ସେ ବିଚଳିତ ନୋହିବେ।
For the king trusts in the Lord, and through the mercy of the Highest he shall not be moved.
8 ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଶତ୍ରୁ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଧରିବ; ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଘୃଣାକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଧରିବ।
Let thy hand be found by all thine enemies: let thy right hand find all that hate thee.
9 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା କ୍ରୋଧ ସମୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ଭାଟି ତୁଲ୍ୟ କରିବ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା କୋପରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିବେ, ପୁଣି, ଅଗ୍ନି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭକ୍ଷଣ କରିବ।
Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven at the time of thy presence: the Lord shall trouble them in his anger, and fire shall devour them.
10 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପୃଥିବୀରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଫଳ ଓ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବଂଶ ଲୋପ କରିବ।
Thou shalt destroy their fruit from the earth, and their seed from [among] the sons of men.
11 କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଅନିଷ୍ଟ ଚିନ୍ତା କଲେ; ସେମାନେ ଏକ କୌଶଳ କଳ୍ପନା କଲେ, ତାହା ସେମାନେ ସିଦ୍ଧ କରିପାରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
For they intended evils against thee; they imagined a device which they shall by no means be able to perform.
12 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପୃଷ୍ଠ ଫେରାଇବ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମୁଖ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆପଣା ଧନୁର୍ଗୁଣ ସଜ୍ଜିତ କରିବ।
For thou shalt make them [turn their] back in thy latter end, thou wilt prepare their face.
13 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ନିଜ ବଳରେ ଉନ୍ନତ ହୁଅ; ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରାକ୍ରମର ଗାନ ଓ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବା।
Be thou exalted, O Lord, in thy strength: we will sing and praise thy mighty acts.
