ଗୀତସଂହିତା 20

1 ପ୍ରଧାନ ବାଦ୍ୟକର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସଙ୍କଟ ଦିନରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଉନ୍ତୁ; ଯାକୁବର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନାମ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ରକ୍ଷା ସ୍ଥାପନ କରନ୍ତୁ;

Unto the end. A Psalm of David. May the Lord hear you in the day of tribulation. May the name of the God of Jacob protect you.

2 ସେ ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ପଠାଉନ୍ତୁ, ସିୟୋନଠାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବଳବାନ କରନ୍ତୁ;

May he send you help from the sanctuary and watch over you from Zion.

3 ତୁମ୍ଭର ନୈବେଦ୍ୟସବୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରନ୍ତୁ, ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭର ହୋମବଳି ଗ୍ରହଣ କରନ୍ତୁ; (ସେଲା)

May he be mindful of all your sacrifices, and may your burnt-offerings be fat.

4 ତୁମ୍ଭର ମନୋବାଞ୍ଛା ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରନ୍ତୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଯୋଜନାସବୁ ସଫଳ କରନ୍ତୁ।

May he grant to you according to your heart, and confirm all your counsels.

5 ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରିତ୍ରାଣରେ ଜୟଧ୍ୱନି କରିବୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଧ୍ୱଜା ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବୁ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସବୁ ନିବେଦନ ସିଦ୍ଧ କରନ୍ତୁ।

We will rejoice in your salvation, and in the name of our God, we will be magnified.

6 ଏବେ ମୁଁ ଜାଣୁଅଛି ଯେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରନ୍ତି, ସେ ଆପଣା ଡାହାଣ ହସ୍ତର ତ୍ରାଣ ଶକ୍ତିରେ ନିଜ ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରୁ ତାହାକୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବେ।

May the Lord fulfill all your petitions. Now I know that the Lord has saved his Christ. He will hear him from his holy heaven. The salvation of his right hand is in his power.

7 କେହି କେହି ରଥରେ ଓ କେହି କେହି ଅଶ୍ୱରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରନ୍ତି; ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଶକ୍ତିରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରୁ।

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we will call upon the name of the Lord our God.

8 ସେମାନେ ନତ ହୋଇ ପତିତ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଉଠି ସଳଖ ଠିଆ ହେଉଅଛୁ।

They have been bound, and they have fallen. But we have risen up, and we have been set upright.

9 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ପରିତ୍ରାଣ କର; ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଡାକିବା ବେଳେ ରାଜା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଉନ୍ତୁ।

O Lord, save the king, and hear us on the day that we will call upon you.
