ଗୀତସଂହିତା 18
1 ପ୍ରଧାନ ବାଦ୍ୟକର ନିମନ୍ତେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦାସ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଓ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା ଦିନ ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଏହି ଗୀତର କଥା ନିବେଦନ କରିଥିଲେ; ସେ କହିଲେ, ହେ ମୋହର ବଳ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରେ।
For the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David the servant of the LORD, who spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: and he said, I love thee, O LORD, my strength.
2 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋହର ଶୈଳ, ମୋହର ଗଡ଼ ଓ ମୋହର ଉଦ୍ଧାରକର୍ତ୍ତା; ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୋହର ଦୃଢ଼ ଶୈଳ, ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ଶରଣ ନେବି; ମୋହର ଢାଲ ଓ ମୋହର ପରିତ୍ରାଣର ଶୃଙ୍ଗ, ମୋହର ଉଚ୍ଚ ଦୁର୍ଗ।
The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strong rock, in him will I trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.
3 ମୁଁ ପ୍ରଶଂସନୀୟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଡାକିବି; ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣଠାରୁ ନିସ୍ତାର ପାଇବି।
I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
4 ମୃତ୍ୟୁର ରଜ୍ଜୁ ମୋତେ ବେଷ୍ଟନ କଲା, ପାପାଧମତାରୂପ ପ୍ଲାବନ ମୋତେ ଭୟଗ୍ରସ୍ତ କଲା।
The cords of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodliness made me afraid.
The cords of Sheol were round about me: the snares of death came on me. (Sheol h7585)
6 ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଦଶା ସମୟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଡାକିଲି ଓ ମୋʼ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଆର୍ତ୍ତନାଦ କଲି; ସେ ଆପଣା ମନ୍ଦିରରୁ ମୋହର ରବ ଶୁଣିଲେ, ପୁଣି, ତାହାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ କୃତ ମୋହର ଆର୍ତ୍ତନାଦ ତାହାଙ୍କ କର୍ଣ୍ଣରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲା।
In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry before him came into his ears.
7 ସେତେବେଳେ ପୃଥିବୀ ଟଳଟଳ ଓ କମ୍ପିତ ହେଲା, ପର୍ବତଗଣର ଭିତ୍ତିମୂଳ ମଧ୍ୟ ବିଚଳିତ ହେଲା ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ କୋପ ସକାଶୁ ଟଳଟଳ ହେଲା।
Then the earth shook and trembled, me foundations also of the mountains moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.
8 ତାହାଙ୍କ ନାସାରନ୍ଧ୍ରରୁ ଧୂମ ନିର୍ଗତ ହେଲା ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ମୁଖନିର୍ଗତ ଅଗ୍ନି ଗ୍ରାସ କଲା; ତଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ଅଙ୍ଗାର ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ହେଲା।
There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
9 ସେ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳକୁ ହିଁ ନୁଆଁଇ ତଳକୁ ଆସିଲେ; ଆଉ, ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଦ ତଳେ ଘୋର ଅନ୍ଧକାର ଥିଲା।
He bowed the heavens also, and came down, and thick darkness was under his feet.
10 ପୁଣି, ସେ କିରୂବ ଉପରେ ଆରୋହଣ କରି ଉଡ଼ିଲେ; ହଁ, ସେ ବାୟୁର ପକ୍ଷ ଉପରେ ବେଗରେ ଉଡ଼ିଲେ।
And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly, yea, he flew swiftly upon the wings of the wind.
11 ସେ ଅନ୍ଧକାରକୁ ଆପଣାର ଗୁପ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ଜଳମୟ ଅନ୍ଧକାରକୁ, ଗଗନମଣ୍ଡଳର ନିବିଡ଼ ମେଘମାଳକୁ ଆପଣା ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ଆବାସ ସ୍ୱରୂପ କଲେ।
He made darkness his hiding place, his pavilion round about him; darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
12 ତାହାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ତେଜରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ନିବିଡ଼ ମେଘମାଳ ଶିଳାବୃଷ୍ଟି ଓ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ଅଙ୍ଗାର ନିର୍ଗତ କଲା।
At the brightness before him his thick clouds passed, hailstones and coals of fire.
13 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳରେ ବଜ୍ରନାଦ କଲେ ଓ ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥ ଆପଣା ରବ ଉଚ୍ଚାରଣ କଲେ।
The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Most High uttered his voice; hailstones and coals of fire.
14 ଆଉ, ସେ ଆପଣା ତୀର ପ୍ରେରଣ କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ କଲେ; ହଁ, ଅନେକ ବିଜୁଳି ପଠାଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବ୍ୟାକୁଳ କଲେ।
And he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; yea, lightnings manifold, and discomfited them.
15 ସେତେବେଳେ, ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ତର୍ଜ୍ଜନରେ ଓ ନାସିକାର ପ୍ରଶ୍ୱାସ ବାୟୁରେ ଜଳରାଶିର ପ୍ରଣାଳୀ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେଲା ଓ ଭୂମଣ୍ଡଳର ମୂଳସକଳ ଅନାବୃତ ହେଲା।
Then the channels of waters appeared, and the foundations of the world were laid bare, at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.
16 ସେ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱରୁ ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କରି ମୋତେ ଧରିଲେ; ସେ ଆପଣା ଜଳରାଶିରୁ ମୋତେ ଓଟାରି ଆଣିଲେ,
He sent from on high, he took me; he drew me out of many waters.
17 ସେ ମୋହର ବଳବାନ ଶତ୍ରୁଠାରୁ ଓ ମୋହର ଘୃଣାକାରୀମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କଲେ, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅତି ପରାକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଥିଲେ।
He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me, for they were too mighty for me.
18 ସେମାନେ ମୋହର ବିପଦ ଦିନରେ ମୋତେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କଲେ; ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କଲେ।
They came upon me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
19 ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ମୋତେ ବାହାର କରି ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଆଣିଲେ; ସେ ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ହେବାରୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କଲେ।
He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
20 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋହର ଧର୍ମାନୁସାରେ ମୋତେ ପୁରସ୍କାର ଦେଲେ; ମୋʼ ହସ୍ତର ଶୌଚ ଅନୁସାରେ ସେ ମୋତେ ଫଳ ଦେଲେ।
The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
21 କାରଣ ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପଥ ଧରିଅଛି ଓ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଭାବରେ ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ କରି ନାହିଁ।
For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
22 ଆଉ, ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶାସନସବୁ ମୋʼ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଥିଲା, ପୁଣି, ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଧିସବୁ ଆପଣାଠାରୁ ଦୂର କଲି ନାହିଁ।
For all his judgments were before me, and I put not away his statutes from me.
23 ମଧ୍ୟ ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ସିଦ୍ଧ ଥିଲି ଓ ମୁଁ ନିଜ ଅପରାଧରୁ ଆପଣାକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କଲି।
I was also perfect with him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.
24 ଏହେତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋର ଧର୍ମାନୁସାରେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ମୋʼ ହସ୍ତର ଶୌଚାନୁସାରେ ମୋତେ ଫଳ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.
25 ଦୟାଳୁ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାକୁ ଦୟାଳୁ ଦେଖାଇବ; ସିଦ୍ଧ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାକୁ ସିଦ୍ଧ ଦେଖାଇବ;
With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with the perfect man thou wilt shew thyself perfect;
26 ନିର୍ମଳ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାକୁ ନିର୍ମଳ ଦେଖାଇବ। ଆଉ, କୁଟିଳ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାକୁ ଚତୁର ଦେଖାଇବ;
With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the perverse thou wilt shew thyself froward.
27 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦୁଃଖୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତ୍ରାଣ କରିବ; ମାତ୍ର ଦାମ୍ଭିକ ଚକ୍ଷୁକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନତ କରିବ।
For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but the haughty eyes thou wilt bring down.
28 ଯେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରଦୀପ ଜ୍ୱଳାଇବ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋʼ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମୋʼ ଅନ୍ଧକାରକୁ ଆଲୁଅମୟ କରିବେ।
For thou wilt light my lamp: the LORD my God will lighten my darkness.
29 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦ୍ୱାରା ମୁଁ ସୈନ୍ୟଦଳ ଉପରେ ଦୌଡ଼େ ଓ ମୋʼ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ମୁଁ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ଡିଏଁ।
For by thee I run upon a troop; and by my God do I leap over a wall.
30 ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପଥ ସିଦ୍ଧ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ସୁପରୀକ୍ଷିତ; ସେ ଆପଣା ଶରଣାଗତ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ଢାଲ।
As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried; he is a shield unto all them that trust in him.
31 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଛଡ଼ା ପରମେଶ୍ୱର କିଏ? ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଛଡ଼ା ଶୈଳ କିଏ?
For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, beside our God?
32 ସେହି ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ବଳ ଦେଇ ମୋହର କଟି ବାନ୍ଧନ୍ତି ଓ ମୋହର ପଥ ସିଦ୍ଧ କରନ୍ତି।
The God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
33 ସେ ମୋହର ଚରଣକୁ ହରିଣୀର ଚରଣ ପରି କରନ୍ତି ଓ ମୋତେ ମୋʼ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀରେ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରନ୍ତି।
He maketh my feet like hinds’ [feet]: and setteth me upon my high places,
34 ସେ ମୋʼ ହସ୍ତକୁ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଶିଖାନ୍ତି; ତେଣୁ ମୋʼ ବାହୁ ପିତ୍ତଳ ଧନୁ ନୁଆଁଏ।
He teacheth my hands to war; so that mine arms do bend a bow of brass.
35 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆପଣା ପରିତ୍ରାଣର ଢାଲ ମୋତେ ଦେଇଅଛ; ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ ମୋତେ ଧରି ରଖିଅଛି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନମ୍ରତା ମୋତେ ବୃଦ୍ଧିପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କରିଅଛି।
Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
36 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ପାଦ ପକାଇବାର ସ୍ଥାନ ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ କରିଅଛ ଓ ମୋʼ ପାଦ ଖସି ଯାଇ ନାହିଁ।
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, and my feet have not slipped.
37 ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଧରିବି; କିଅବା ସେମାନେ ସଂହାରିତ ନୋହିବା ଯାଏ ମୁଁ ଫେରି ଆସିବି ନାହିଁ।
I will pursue mine enemies, and overtake them: neither will I turn again till they are consumed.
38 ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏପରି ଆଘାତ କରିବି ଯେ, ସେମାନେ ଆଉ ଉଠି ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ; ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ପଦ ତଳେ ପତିତ ହେବେ।
I will smite them through that they shall not be able to rise: they shall fall under my feet.
39 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବଳ ଦେଇ ଯୁଦ୍ଧାର୍ଥେ ମୋʼ କଟି ବାନ୍ଧିଅଛ; ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଉଠିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ବଶୀଭୂତ କରିଅଛ।
For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
40 ମଧ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋʼ ନିକଟରୁ ଫେରାଇ ଦେଇଅଛ, ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଘୃଣାକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିଅଛି।
Thou hast also made mine enemies turn their backs unto me, that I might cut off them that hate me.
41 ସେମାନେ ଡାକ ପକାଇଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବାକୁ କେହି ନ ଥିଲା, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ହିଁ ଡାକିଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ ନାହିଁ।
They cried, but there was none to save: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
42 ସେତେବେଳେ ମୁଁ ବାୟୁ ସମ୍ମୁଖସ୍ଥ ଧୂଳି ପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲି; ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାଟର କାଦୁଅ ପରି ପକାଇଦେଲି।
Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the mire of the streets.
43 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିବାଦରୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀସମୂହର ମସ୍ତକ ସ୍ୱରୂପ କରିଅଛ; ମୋହର ଅପରିଚିତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ମୋହର ସେବା କରିବେ।
Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; thou hast made me the head of the nations: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.
44 ସେମାନେ ମୋର ବିଷୟ ଶୁଣିବାମାତ୍ରେ ମୋହର ଆଜ୍ଞାବହ ହେବେ; ବିଦେଶୀୟମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋହର ବଶୀଭୂତ କରିବେ।
As soon as they hear of me they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.
45 ବିଦେଶୀୟମାନେ ମ୍ଳାନ ହୋଇଯିବେ ଓ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ଗୁପ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଥରହର ହୋଇ ବାହାରି ଆସିବେ।
The strangers shall fade away, and shall come trembling out of their close places.
46 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଜୀବିତ; ମୋହର ଶୈଳ ଧନ୍ୟ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ ଓ ମୋହର ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଉନ୍ନତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ।
The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of my salvation:
47 ସେହି ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମୋʼ ପକ୍ଷରେ ପରିଶୋଧ ନିଅନ୍ତି ଓ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋହର ବଶୀଭୂତ କରନ୍ତି।
Even the God that executeth vengeance for me, and subdueth peoples under me.
48 ସେ ମୋʼ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣଠାରୁ ମୋତେ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି; ହଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଉତ୍ଥିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ମୋତେ ଉଚ୍ଚୀକୃତ କରୁଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଉପଦ୍ରବୀ ଲୋକଠାରୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରୁଅଛ।
He rescueth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above them that rise up against me: thou deliverest me from the violent man.
49 ଏହେତୁ, ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୁଁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ କରିବି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମର ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଗାନ କରିବି।
Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the nations, and will sing praises unto thy name.
50 ସେ ଆପଣା ରାଜାକୁ ମହାପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଆପଣା ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତ ପ୍ରତି, ଦାଉଦ ପ୍ରତି ଓ ତାହାର ବଂଶ ପ୍ରତି ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ସ୍ନେହପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରନ୍ତି।
Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth lovingkindness to his anointed, to David and to his seed, for evermore.
