ଗୀତସଂହିତା 16
1 ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ମିକ୍ତାମ୍ (ଗୀତରତ୍ନ।) ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୋତେ ରକ୍ଷା କର; କାରଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ ଶରଣ ନିଏ।
A Precious Psalm of David. Preserve me, O GOD, for I have sought refuge in thee.
2 ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ କହିଅଛି, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିନା ମୋହର କୌଣସି ମଙ୍ଗଳ ନାହିଁ।”
Thou hast said unto Yahweh, My Lord, art thou! My goodness, mounteth not unto thee.
3 ପୃଥିବୀରେ ଯେଉଁ ପବିତ୍ର ଲୋକମାନେ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଆଦରଣୀୟ, ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ମୋହର ପରମ ସନ୍ତୋଷ।
It belongeth unto the holy ones, whom, in his own land, Yahweh, ennobleth, In whom is all his delight
4 ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତରେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେବତାକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦୁଃଖ ବଢ଼ିଯିବ; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦତ୍ତ ରକ୍ତର ପେୟ-ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ମୁଁ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବି ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦେବତାଗଣର ନାମ ଆପଣା ଓଷ୍ଠାଧରରେ ନେବି ନାହିଁ।
They multiply their idols—another, have they purchased! I will not pour out their drink-offerings of blood, nor will I take up their names on my lips.
5 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋହର ଅଧିକାରର ଓ ପାନପାତ୍ରର ବାଣ୍ଟ ସ୍ୱରୂପ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ବାଣ୍ଟ ସ୍ଥିର କରୁଅଛ।
Yahweh, is mine allotted portion and my cup, Thou, art maintaining my lot.
6 ମୋʼ ପାଇଁ ମାପିବା ଦଉଡ଼ି ମନୋହର ସ୍ଥାନରେ ପଡ଼ିଅଛି; ହଁ, ମୁଁ ଉତ୍ତମ ଅଧିକାର ପାଇଅଛି।
The lines, have fallen unto me, in pleasant places, Verily an inheritance that delighteth me.
7 ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ କରିବି, ଯେ ମୋତେ ପରାମର୍ଶ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ଆହୁରି, ରାତ୍ରିକାଳରେ ମୋହର ଚିତ୍ତ ମୋତେ ଉପଦେଶ ଦିଏ।
I will bless Yahweh, who hath counselled me, —Surely, by night, shall mine impulses admonish me.
8 ମୁଁ ସର୍ବଦା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ରଖିଅଛି; ସେ ମୋହର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ପାଖରେ ଥିବାରୁ ମୁଁ ବିଚଳିତ ହେବି ନାହିଁ।
I have set Yahweh before me continually, because he is on my right hand, I shall not be shaken!
9 ଏଥିପାଇଁ ମୋହର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ଓ ମୋହର ଗୌରବ ଉଲ୍ଲସିତ ହୁଅଇ; ମୋʼ ଶରୀର ମଧ୍ୟ ନିରାପଦରେ ବାସ କରିବ।
Therefore, hath my heart rejoiced, and mine honour exulted, Yea, my flesh, shall settle down securely;
10 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ପାତାଳରେ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରିବ ନାହିଁ; କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପବିତ୍ର ଜନକୁ କ୍ଷୟ ପାଇବାକୁ ଦେବ ନାହିଁ। (Sheol h7585)
For thou wilt not abandon my soul to hades, neither wilt thou suffer thy man of lovingkindness, to see corruption: (Sheol h7585)
11 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଜୀବନର ପଥ ଦେଖାଇବ; ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଆନନ୍ଦର ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣତା ଥାଏ; ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ପାଖରେ ନିତ୍ୟ ସୁଖଭୋଗ ଥାଏ।
Thou wilt cause me to know, the path of life, —Fulness of joys before thee, Pleasures at thy right hand evermore.
