ଗୀତସଂହିତା 149

1 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କର। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ନୂତନ ଗୀତ ଗାନ କର ଓ ଭକ୍ତମାନଙ୍କ ସମାଜରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଗାନ କର।

Praise Adonai! Sing to Adonai a new song, his tehilah ·praise song· in the assembly of the saints.

2 ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଆପଣା ନିର୍ମାଣକର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କଠାରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରୁ; ସିୟୋନର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ରାଜାଙ୍କଠାରେ ଉଲ୍ଲସିତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ।

Let Israel [God prevails] rejoice in him who made them. Let the children of Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking] be joyful in their King.

3 ସେମାନେ ନୃତ୍ୟ କରି ତାହାଙ୍କ ନାମର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରନ୍ତୁ; ସେମାନେ ଦାରା ଓ ବୀଣା ବଜାଇ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଗାନ କରନ୍ତୁ।

Let them praise his name in the dance! Let them sing zahmar ·musical praise· to him with tambourine and harp!

4 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ଲୋକଙ୍କଠାରେ ସନ୍ତୋଷ ପାଆନ୍ତି; ସେ ନମ୍ର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ରାଣରେ ସୁଶୋଭିତ କରିବେ।

For Adonai takes pleasure in his people. He crowns the humble with yishu'ah ·salvation·.

5 ଭକ୍ତଗଣ ବିଜୟରେ ଉଲ୍ଲସିତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ; ସେମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦ ହେତୁ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଶଯ୍ୟାରେ ଗାନ କରନ୍ତୁ। ସେମାନଙ୍କ କଣ୍ଠରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଉଚ୍ଚ ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଥାଉ;

Let the saints rejoice in kavod ·weighty glory·. Let them sing for joy on their beds.

6 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ଦ୍ୱିବିଧ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଥାଉ।

May the high praises of God be in their mouths, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

7 ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ, ଜନବୃନ୍ଦଙ୍କୁ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦେବା ପାଇଁ,

To execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples;

8 ସେମାନଙ୍କ ରାଜାଗଣକୁ ଶିକୁଳିରେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଧାନବର୍ଗକୁ ଲୌହବେଡ଼ିରେ ବାନ୍ଧିବା ପାଇଁ,

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

9 ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଲିଖିତ ବିଚାର ନିଷ୍ପନ୍ନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ, ତାହାଙ୍କ ଭକ୍ତବୃନ୍ଦର ଏହି ମର୍ଯ୍ୟାଦା। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କର।

to execute on them the written judgment. All his saints have this honor. Halleluyah ·praise Yah·!
