ଗୀତସଂହିତା 144
1 ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ। ମୋହର ଶୈଳ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଧନ୍ୟ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ, ସେ ମୋʼ ହସ୍ତକୁ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ଶିଖାନ୍ତି ଓ ମୋʼ ଅଙ୍ଗୁଳିକୁ ସଂଗ୍ରାମ ଶିଖାନ୍ତି।
[A Psalm] of David. Blessed [be] the LORD my strength, who teacheth my hands to war, [and] my fingers to fight;
2 ସେ ମୋହର ସ୍ନେହପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣା ଓ ମୋହର ଗଡ଼, ମୋହର ଉଚ୍ଚ ଦୁର୍ଗ ଓ ମୋହର ଉଦ୍ଧାରକର୍ତ୍ତା, ମୋହର ଢାଲ ଓ ସେ ମୋହର ଆଶ୍ରୟଭୂମି; ସେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀସମୂହକୁ ମୋʼ ପଦ ତଳେ ବଶୀଭୂତ କରନ୍ତି।
My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and [he] in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.
3 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମନୁଷ୍ୟ କିଏ ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ପରିଚୟ ନିଅ? ସେ ଅବା କିଏ ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ଗଣ୍ୟ କର?
LORD, what [is] man, that thou takest knowledge of him! [or] the son of man, that thou makest account of him!
4 ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଅସାର ବସ୍ତୁ ତୁଲ୍ୟ; ତାହାର ଦିନସବୁ ବହିଯିବା ଛାୟା ତୁଲ୍ୟ।
Man is like to vanity: his days [are] as a shadow that passeth away.
5 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଆପଣା ଗଗନମଣ୍ଡଳ ନୁଆଁଇ ତଳକୁ ଆସ; ପର୍ବତଗଣକୁ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କର, ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନେ ଧୂମ ନିର୍ଗତ କରିବେ।
Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.
6 ବିଜୁଳି ନିକ୍ଷେପ କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ କର; ଆପଣା ତୀର ମାରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କର।
Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot thy arrows, and destroy them.
7 ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱରୁ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବଢ଼ାଅ; ମୋତେ ରକ୍ଷା କର, ମହାଜଳରାଶିରୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର; ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କ ମୁଖ ଅସାର କଥା କହଇ
Send thy hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
8 ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ ଅସତ୍ୟର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ, ଏପରି ବିଦେଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର।
Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand [is] a right hand of falsehood.
9 ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ନୂତନ ଗୀତ ଗାନ କରିବି; ଦଶତାର-ଯନ୍ତ୍ରରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ମୁଁ ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଗାନ କରିବି।
I will sing a new song to thee, O God: upon a psaltery [and] an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises to thee.
10 ସେ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରନ୍ତି; ସେ ଆପଣା ଦାସ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଷତିକାରକ ଖଡ୍ଗରୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି।
[It is he] that giveth salvation to kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.
11 ମୋତେ ରକ୍ଷା କର ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କର ମୁଖ ଅସାର କଥା କହଇ, ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ ଅସତ୍ୟର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ, ଏପରି ବିଦେଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର।
Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand [is] a right hand of falsehood:
12 ଯେତେବେଳେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରଗଣ ଯୌବନାବସ୍ଥାରେ ବୃକ୍ଷର ଚାରା ତୁଲ୍ୟ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧନଶୀଳ ହେବେ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ଅଟ୍ଟାଳିକାର ଗଠନାନୁସାରେ ଖୋଦିତ କୋଣ-ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେବେ;
That our sons [may be] as plants grown up in their youth; [that] our daughters [may be] as corner stones, polished [after] the similitude of a palace:
13 ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଭଣ୍ଡାରସବୁ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ; ସର୍ବପ୍ରକାର ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ହେବ; ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମେଷଗଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ସହସ୍ର ସହସ୍ର ଓ ଅୟୁତ ଅୟୁତ ଶାବକ ପ୍ରସବ କରିବେ;
[That] our granaries [may be] full, affording all manner of store; [that] our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:
14 ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବଳଦସବୁ ଉତ୍ତମ ରୂପେ ବୋଝାଇ ହେବେ; କୌଣସି ଭଗ୍ନଦଶା ଓ ବହିର୍ଗମନ ଘଟିବ ନାହିଁ, ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଛକସ୍ଥାନରେ କୌଣସି କୋଳାହଳ ହେବ ନାହିଁ;
[That] our oxen [may be] strong to labor; that [there be] no breaking in, nor going out; that [there be] no complaining in our streets.
15 ଏହିପରି ଅବସ୍ଥାପନ୍ନ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ଧନ୍ୟ; ହଁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେଉଁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ!
Happy [is that] people, that is in such a case: [yes], happy [is that] people, whose God [is] the LORD.
