ଗୀତସଂହିତା 143
1 ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋହର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଶୁଣ; ମୋʼ ନିବେଦନରେ କର୍ଣ୍ଣପାତ କର; ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତତା ଓ ଧର୍ମରେ ମୋତେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଅ।
A Psalm of David. Jehovah, hear my prayer; give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, in thy righteousness.
2 ନିଜ ଦାସକୁ ବିଚାରରେ ଆଣ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ କୌଣସି ଜୀବିତ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଧାର୍ମିକ ହୋଇ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।
And enter not into judgment with thy servant; for in thy sight no man living shall be justified.
3 ଶତ୍ରୁ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ତାଡ଼ନା କରିଅଛି; ସେ ମୋʼ ଜୀବନକୁ ଭୂମିରେ ଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିଅଛି; ସେ ବହୁ କାଳରୁ ମୃତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ମୋତେ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ସ୍ଥାନରେ ବାସ କରାଇଅଛି।
For the enemy persecuteth my soul: he hath crushed my life down to the earth; he hath made me to dwell in dark places, as those that have been long dead.
4 ଏହେତୁ ମୋହର ଆତ୍ମା ମୋʼ ଅନ୍ତରରେ ଉଦ୍ବିଗ୍ନ ହୋଇଅଛି; ମୋʼ ଅନ୍ତରରେ ମୋହର ଚିତ୍ତ ଶୂନ୍ୟ ହୋଇଅଛି।
And my spirit is overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.
5 ମୁଁ ପୂର୍ବକାଳର ଦିନସବୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରୁଅଛି; ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର କର୍ମସବୁ ଧ୍ୟାନ କରୁଅଛି; ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ହସ୍ତକୃତ କର୍ମ ଚିନ୍ତା କରୁଅଛି।
I remember the days of old: I meditate on all thy doing; I muse on the work of thy hands.
6 ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଆଡ଼େ ହସ୍ତ ପ୍ରସାରୁଅଛି; ଶୁଷ୍କ ଭୂମି ତୁଲ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ତୃଷିତ ହେଉଅଛି। (ସେଲା)
I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul, as a parched land, [thirsteth] after thee. (Selah)
7 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋତେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବାକୁ ସତ୍ୱର ହୁଅ; ମୋହର ଆତ୍ମା କ୍ଷୀଣ ହେଉଅଛି; ମୋʼ ଠାରୁ ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ଲୁଚାଅ ନାହିଁ; କେଜାଣି ମୁଁ ଗର୍ତ୍ତଗାମୀମାନଙ୍କ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେବି।
Answer me speedily, O Jehovah; my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, or I shall be like unto them that go down into the pit.
8 ପ୍ରଭାତରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସ୍ନେହପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣାର କଥା ମୋତେ ଶୁଣାଅ; କାରଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ ଭରସା ରଖେ; ମୋହର ଗନ୍ତବ୍ୟ ପଥ ମୋତେ ଜଣାଅ; କାରଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଆଡ଼େ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାଣ ଉଠାଏ।
Cause me to hear thy loving-kindness in the morning, for in thee do I confide; make me to know the way wherein I should walk, for unto thee do I lift up my soul.
9 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋʼ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣଠାରୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର; ମୁଁ ଲୁଚିବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ପଳାଏ।
Deliver me, O Jehovah, from mine enemies: unto thee do I flee for refuge.
10 ତୁମ୍ଭର ଇଷ୍ଟ ସାଧନ କରିବାକୁ ମୋତେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଅ; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର; ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆତ୍ମା ମଙ୍ଗଳମୟ; ମୋତେ ସରଳ ଭୂମିରେ ଗମନ କରାଅ।
Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: let thy good Spirit lead me in a plain country.
11 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମ ସକାଶୁ ମୋତେ ସଜୀବ କର; ତୁମ୍ଭ ଧର୍ମରେ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ସଙ୍କଟରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣ।
Revive me, O Jehovah, for thy name's sake; in thy righteousness bring my soul out of trouble;
12 ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ସ୍ନେହପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣାରେ ମୋʼ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କର ଓ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣର କ୍ଳେଶଦାୟୀ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ନାଶ କର; କାରଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦାସ।
And in thy loving-kindness cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that oppress my soul: for I am thy servant.
