ଗୀତସଂହିତା 130

1 ଆରୋହଣ ଗୀତ। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୁଁ ଗଭୀର ଜଳରେ ଥାଇ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ଡାକ ପକାଇଅଛି।

“A song of the degrees.” Out of the depths have I called thee, O Lord.

2 ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋʼ ରବ ଶୁଣ; ତୁମ୍ଭ କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମୋʼ ବିନତି-ରବରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କରୁ।

Lord, listen to my voice: let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ଅପରାଧସବୁ ଧରିବ, ତେବେ ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ, କିଏ ଠିଆ ହେବ?

If thou, Lord, shouldst treasure up iniquities, O Lord, who would be able to stand?

4 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ଯେପରି ଭୟ କରାଯାଏ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ କ୍ଷମା ଅଛି।

But with thee there is forgiveness, in order that thou mayest be feared.

5 ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରୁଅଛି, ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରୁଅଛି, ପୁଣି, ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟରେ ଭରସା ରଖୁଅଛି।

I hope for the Lord, my soul doth hope, and for his word do I wait.

6 ପ୍ରହରୀମାନେ ପ୍ରଭାତ ପାଇଁ ଚାହିଁ ରହିବା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଅଧିକ ଚାହିଁ ରହେ; ହଁ, ପ୍ରହରୀମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଭାତ ପାଇଁ ଚାହିଁ ରହିବା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅଧିକ।

My soul [waiteth] for the Lord, more than they that watch for the morning expect the morning.

7 ହେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ଭରସା ରଖ; କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ଦୟା ଅଛି ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ପ୍ରଚୁର ମୁକ୍ତି ଅଛି।

Let Israel wait for the Lord; for with the Lord there is kindness, and with him is redemption in abundance;

8 ପୁଣି, ସେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ତାହାର ସମସ୍ତ ଅପରାଧରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବେ।

And he wilt surely redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
