ଗୀତସଂହିତା 13

1 ପ୍ରଧାନ ବାଦ୍ୟକର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କେତେ କାଳ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ମୋତେ ପାସୋରିବ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ କେତେ କାଳ ମୋʼ ଠାରୁ ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ଲୁଚାଇବ?

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

2 ମୁଁ ସାରାଦିନ ନିଜ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣରେ ଦୁଃଖିତ ହୋଇ କେତେ କାଳ ମନେ ମନେ ପରାମର୍ଶ କରିବି? କେତେ କାଳ ମୋʼ ଶତ୍ରୁ ମୋʼ ଉପରେ ଉଚ୍ଚୀକୃତ ହେବ?

How long shall I take counsel in my soul, [having] sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

3 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋʼ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ବିବେଚନା କର ଓ ମୋତେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଅ; ମୋହର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ସତେଜ କର, ନୋହିଲେ ମୁଁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁୁ-ନିଦ୍ରାରେ ନିଦ୍ରାଗତ ହେବି;

Consider [and] hear me, O LORD my God: lighten my eyes, lest I sleep [the sleep] of death;

4 କେଜାଣି ମୋʼ ଶତ୍ରୁ କହିବ, “ମୁଁ ତାହାକୁ ଜୟ କରିଅଛି,” ଆଉ, ମୁଁ ଘୁଞ୍ଚାଗଲେ, ମୋହର ବିପକ୍ଷଗଣ ଉଲ୍ଲାସ କରିବେ।

Lest my enemy say, I have prevailed against him; [and] those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

5 ମାତ୍ର ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦୟାରେ ଭରସା ରଖିଅଛି; ତୁମ୍ଭ କୃତ ପରିତ୍ରାଣରେ ମୋର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଉଲ୍ଲାସ କରିବ;

But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

6 ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଗାନ କରିବି, କାରଣ ସେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରଚୁର ମଙ୍ଗଳ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।

I will sing to the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
