ଗୀତସଂହିତା 128

1 ଆରୋହଣ ଗୀତ। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପଥରେ ଚାଲନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଲୋକ ଧନ୍ୟ।

“A song of the degrees.” Happy is every one that feareth the Lord, that walketh in his ways.

2 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତକୃତ ପରିଶ୍ରମର ଫଳ ଭୋଜନ କରିବ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସୁଖୀ ହେବ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହେବ।

When thou eatest the labor of thy hands: [then] wilt thou be happy, and it shall be well with thee.

3 ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗୃହର ଅନ୍ତଃପୁରରେ ଫଳବତୀ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତା ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେବ; ତୁମ୍ଭର ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମେଜର ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ଜୀତବୃକ୍ଷର ଚାରା ପରି ହେବେ।

Thy wife is [then] as a fruitful vine in the recesses of thy house: thy children, like olive-plants round about thy table.

4 ଦେଖ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରିବା ଲୋକ ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେବ।

Behold, truly thus shall be blessed the man that feareth the Lord.

5 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସିୟୋନରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରିବେ; ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାବଜ୍ଜୀବନ ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ଦେଖିବ।

May the Lord bless thee out of Zion: and see thou the happiness of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

6 ହଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ସନ୍ତାନ ଦେଖିବ। ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ଶାନ୍ତି ବର୍ତ୍ତୁ।

And see thou thy children's children: may there be peace upon Israel.
