ଗୀତସଂହିତା 121

1 ଆରୋହଣ ଗୀତ। ମୁଁ ପର୍ବତଗଣ ଆଡ଼େ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱଦୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବି; କେଉଁଠାରୁ ମୋହର ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ଆସିବ?

A song of degrees. I will lift mine eyes vnto the mountaines, from whence mine helpe shall come.

2 ମୋହର ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆସେ, ସେ ଆକାଶ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ।

Mine helpe commeth from the Lord, which hath made the heauen and the earth.

3 ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଚରଣକୁ ବିଚଳିତ ହେବାକୁ ଦେବେ ନାହିଁ; ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି, ସେ ଘୁମାଇବେ ନାହିଁ।

He wil not suffer thy foote to slippe: for he that keepeth thee, will not slumber.

4 ଦେଖ, ଯେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି, ସେ ଘୁମାଇବେ ନାହିଁ କି ନିଦ୍ରା ଯିବେ ନାହିଁ।

Beholde, he that keepeth Israel, wil neither slumber nor sleepe.

5 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ରକ୍ଷକ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱର ଛାୟା।

The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shadow at thy right hand.

6 ଦିବସରେ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ, କିଅବା ରାତ୍ରିରେ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଘାତ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।

The sunne shall not smite thee by day, nor the moone by night.

7 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମସ୍ତ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ; ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ।

The Lord shall preserue thee from all euil: he shall keepe thy soule.

8 ଆଜିଠାରୁ ସଦାକାଳ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବାହାରେ ଯିବାର ଓ ଭିତରେ ଆସିବାର ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ।

The Lord shall preserue thy going out, and thy comming in from henceforth and for euer.
