ଗୀତସଂହିତା 112

1 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କର, ଯେଉଁ ଜନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରେ, ଯେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାସବୁରେ ଅତିଶୟ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ହୁଏ, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ।

Praise ye the LORD. Blessed [is] the man [that] feareth the LORD, [that] delighteth greatly in his commandments.

2 ତାହାର ବଂଶ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ବିକ୍ରମଶାଳୀ ହେବେ ସରଳ ଲୋକର ବଂଶ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେବେ।

His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

3 ତାହାର ଗୃହରେ ଧନସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଥାଏ ଓ ତାହାର ଧର୍ମ ସଦାକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ

Wealth and riches [shall be] in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 ସରଳ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଅନ୍ଧକାରରେ ଦୀପ୍ତି ଉଦିତ ହୁଏ; ସେ କୃପାମୟ ଓ ସ୍ନେହଶୀଳ ଓ ଧାର୍ମିକ।

Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: [he is] gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

5 ଯେଉଁ ଜନ କୃପା କରେ ଓ ଋଣ ଦିଏ, ତାହାର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହୁଏ; ସେ ସୁବିଚାରରେ ଆପଣା କଥା ନିଷ୍ପନ୍ନ କରିବ।

A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

6 କାରଣ ସେ କଦାପି ବିଚଳିତ ନୋହିବ; ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ସ୍ମରଣରେ ରହିବ।

Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

7 ସେ କୁସମ୍ବାଦ ଶୁଣି ଭୀତ ହେବ ନାହିଁ। ତାହାର ଚିତ୍ତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ନିର୍ଭର ରଖି ସ୍ଥିର ଥାଏ।

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

8 ସେ ଆପଣା ବିପକ୍ଷଗଣ ଉପରେ ନିଜ ବାଞ୍ଛାର ସିଦ୍ଧି ଦେଖିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ, ତାହାର ଚିତ୍ତ ସୁସ୍ଥିର ଥାଏ, ସେ ଭୀତ ହେବ ନାହିଁ।

His heart [is] established, he shall not be afraid, until he see [his desire] upon his enemies.

9 ସେ ବିତରଣ କରିଅଛି, ସେ ଦୀନହୀନମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦାନ କରିଅଛି; ତାହାର ଧର୍ମ ସଦାକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ; ସମ୍ଭ୍ରମରେ ତାହାର ଶୃଙ୍ଗ ଉନ୍ନତ ହେବ।

He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

10 ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକ ତାହା ଦେଖିବ ଓ ବିରକ୍ତ ହେବ; ସେ ଆପଣା ଦନ୍ତ ଘର୍ଷଣ କରିବ ଓ ତରଳି ଯିବ; ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କର ବାଞ୍ଛା ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହେବ।

The wicked shall see [it], and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
