ଗୀତସଂହିତା 109
1 ପ୍ରଧାନ ବାଦ୍ୟକର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ। ହେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରଶଂସାପାତ୍ର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ନୀରବ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ;
Unto the end, a psalm for David.
2 କାରଣ ଲୋକମାନେ ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାରୂପ ମୁଖ ଓ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚନାରୂପ ମୁଖ ଫିଟାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ସେମାନେ ମିଥ୍ୟାବାଦୀ ଜିହ୍ୱାରେ ମୋʼ ସଙ୍ଗେ କଥା କହିଅଛନ୍ତି।
O God, be not thou silent in thy praise: for the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful man is opened against me.
3 ଆହୁରି, ସେମାନେ ଦ୍ୱେଷ ବାକ୍ୟରେ ମୋତେ ଘେରିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ବିନା କାରଣରେ ମୋʼ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
They have spoken against with deceitful tongues; and they have compassed me about with words of hatred; and have fought against me without cause.
4 ମୋʼ ପ୍ରେମ ପାଲଟେ ସେମାନେ ମୋହର ବିପକ୍ଷ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ମାତ୍ର ମୁଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାରେ ପ୍ରବୃତ୍ତ।
Instead of making me a return of love, they detracted me: but I gave myself to prayer.
5 ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ ମୋତେ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ପାଲଟେ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଓ ପ୍ରେମ ପାଲଟେ ଘୃଣା ପ୍ରତିଦାନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
And they repaid me evil for good: and hatred for my love.
6 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ଉପରେ ଏକ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କର; ପୁଣି, ଜଣେ ବିପକ୍ଷ ତାହାର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱରେ ଠିଆ ହେଉ।
Set thou the sinner over him: and may the devil stand at his right hand.
7 ସେ ବିଚାରିତ ହେବା ସମୟରେ ଦୋଷୀକୃତ ହେଉ; ପୁଣି, ତାହାର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ପାପ ରୂପେ ଗଣିତ ହେଉ।
When he is judged, may he go out condemned; and may his prayer be turned to sin.
8 ତାହାର ଆୟୁ ଅଳ୍ପ ହେଉ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକ ତାହାର ପଦ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଉ।
May his days be few: and his bishopric let another take.
9 ତାହାର ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ ପିତୃହୀନ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ ଓ ତାହାର ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା ବିଧବା ହେଉ।
May his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
10 ତାହାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ବାରବୁଲା ହୋଇ ଭିକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତୁ ଓ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଉଜାଡ଼ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଆହାର ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣ କରନ୍ତୁ।
Let his children be carried about vagabonds, and beg; and let them be cast out of their dwellings.
11 ମହାଜନ ତାହାର ସର୍ବସ୍ୱ ଧରୁ; ଆଉ, ବିଦେଶୀମାନେ ତାହାର ଶ୍ରମର ଫଳ ଲୁଟ କରନ୍ତୁ।
May the userer search all his substance: and let strangers plunder his labours.
12 ତାହା ପ୍ରତି କୃପା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବାକୁ କେହି ନ ଥାଉ, କିଅବା ତାହାର ପିତୃହୀନ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ କେହି ଦୟା କରିବାକୁ ନ ରହୁ।
May there be none to help him: nor none to pity his fatherless offspring.
13 ତାହାର ବଂଶ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ହେଉ; ଆସନ୍ତା ପୁରୁଷରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନାମ ଲୁପ୍ତ ହେଉ।
May his posterity be cut off; in one generation may his name be blotted out.
14 ତାହାର ପିତୃପୁରୁଷଙ୍କ ଅପରାଧ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସ୍ମରଣରେ ଥାଉ ଓ ତାହାର ମାତାର ପାପ ଲୁପ୍ତ ନ ହେଉ।
May the iniquity of his fathers be remembered in the sight of the Lord: and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
15 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ମରଣ ପୃଥିବୀରୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିବେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ସର୍ବଦା ଥାଉନ୍ତୁ।
May they be before the lord continually, and let the memory of them perish from the earth:
16 ସେ ଦୟା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବାକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କଲା ନାହିଁ। ମାତ୍ର ଦୁଃଖୀ, ଦୀନହୀନ ଓ ଭଗ୍ନାନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତାଡ଼ନା କଲା।
Because he remembered not to show mercy,
17 ଆହୁରି, ସେ ଅଭିଶାପ ଭଲ ପାଇଲା ଓ ତାହା ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ଘଟିଲା; ଆଉ, ସେ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦରେ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ହେଲା ନାହିଁ, ଏଣୁ ତାହା ତାହାଠାରୁ ଦୂର ହେଲା।
But persecuted the poor man and the beggar; and the broken in heart, to put him to death.
18 ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପରି ଅଭିଶାପ ପରିଧାନ କଲା, ପୁଣି, ତାହା ଜଳ ପରି ତାହାର ଅନ୍ତରରେ ଓ ତୈଳ ପରି ତାହାର ଅସ୍ଥିରେ ପ୍ରବିଷ୍ଟ ହେଲା।
And he loved cursing, and it shall come unto him: and he would not have blessing, and it shall be far from him. And he put on cursing, like a garment: and it went in like water into his entrails, and like oil in his bones.
19 ଏଣୁ ତାହା ତାହାର ପରିଧେୟ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପରି ଓ ତାହାର ନିତ୍ୟ କଟିବନ୍ଧନ ପରି ହେଉ।
May it be unto him like a garment which covereth him; and like a girdle with which he is girded continually.
20 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ବିପକ୍ଷଗଣର ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରାଣ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଦୁର୍ବାକ୍ୟବାଦୀମାନଙ୍କର ଏହି ଫଳ।
This is the work of them who detract me before the Lord; and who speak evils against my soul.
21 ମାତ୍ର, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ନାମ ସକାଶୁ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରତି ବ୍ୟବହାର କର; ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୟା ମଙ୍ଗଳମୟ, ଏଣୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର।
But thou, O Lord, do with for thy names sake: because thy mercy is sweet. Do thou deliver me.
22 କାରଣ ମୁଁ ଦୁଃଖୀ ଓ ଦୀନହୀନ ଅଟେ, ଓ ମୋʼ ଅନ୍ତରରେ ମୋʼ ହୃଦୟ କ୍ଷତବିକ୍ଷତ ହୋଇଅଛି।
For I am poor and needy, and my heart is troubled within me.
23 ମୁଁ ଅପରାହ୍ନର ଛାୟା ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଅତୀତ; ମୁଁ ପଙ୍ଗପାଳ ନ୍ୟାୟ ଚାଳିତ ହେଉଅଛି।
I am taken away like the shadow when it declineth: and I am shaken off as locusts.
24 ଉପବାସରେ ମୋʼ ଆଣ୍ଠୁ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ଅଛି ଓ ମେଦର ଅଭାବରୁ ମୋʼ ମାଂସ କ୍ଷୀଣ ହୁଏ।
My knees are weakened through fasting: and my flesh is changed for oil.
25 ଆହୁରି, ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ନିନ୍ଦାପାତ୍ର ହୋଇଅଛି; ସେମାନେ ମୋତେ ଦେଖିଲେ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ହଲାନ୍ତି।
And I am become a reproach to them: they saw me and they shaked their heads,
26 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୋହର ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କର; ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦୟାନୁସାରେ ମୋହର ପରିତ୍ରାଣ କର।
Help me, O Lord my God; save me according to thy mercy.
27 ତହିଁରେ ଏହି ତୁମ୍ଭର ହସ୍ତ ବୋଲି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହା କରିଅଛ ବୋଲି ସେମାନେ ଜାଣିବେ।
And let them know that this is thy hand: and that thou, O Lord, hast done it.
28 ସେମାନେ ଅଭିଶାପ ଦେଉନ୍ତୁ, ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କର; ସେମାନେ ଉଠିଲେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେବେ, ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦାସ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରିବ।
They will curse and thou will bless: let them that rise up against me be confounded: but thy servant shall rejoice.
29 ମୋʼ ବିପକ୍ଷମାନେ ଅପମାନରେ ବସ୍ତ୍ରାନ୍ୱିତ ହେବେ, ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ଉତ୍ତରୀୟ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ନିଜ ଲଜ୍ଜାରେ ଆଚ୍ଛନ୍ନ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ।
Let them that detract me be clothed with shame: and let them be covered with the their confusion as with a double cloak.
30 ମୁଁ ନିଜ ମୁଖରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଅତିଶୟ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଦେବି; ପୁଣି, ଲୋକସମୂହ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବି।
I will give great thanks to the Lord with my mouth: and in the midst of many I will praise him.
31 କାରଣ ସେ ଦୀନହୀନକୁ ତାହାର ପ୍ରାଣର ବିଚାରକାରୀମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ତ୍ରାଣ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହାର ଡାହାଣରେ ଠିଆ ହେବେ।
Because he hath stood at the right hand of the poor, to save my soul from persecutors.
