ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଲିଖିତ ଚତୁର୍ଥ ପୁସ୍ତକ 8
1 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,
And Yahweh spake unto Moses saying:
2 “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ହାରୋଣକୁ କୁହ, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରଦୀପ ଜାଳିବା ସମୟରେ ସେହି ସପ୍ତ ପ୍ରଦୀପ ଦୀପବୃକ୍ଷର ସମ୍ମୁଖ ଭାଗରେ ଆଲୁଅ ଦେବ।’”
Speak unto Aaron, and thou shalt say unto him, —When thou lightest up the lamps, over against the front of the lampstand, shall the seven lamps give light.
3 ତହିଁରେ ହାରୋଣ ସେହିରୂପ କଲେ; ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ, ଯେପରି ଦୀପବୃକ୍ଷର ସମ୍ମୁଖ ଭାଗରେ ଆଲୁଅ ହେବ, ସେ ସେହିପରି ଦୀପମାନ ଜ୍ୱଳାଇଲେ।
And Aaron did so, over against the front of the lampstand, lighted he up the lamps thereof, —As Yahweh commanded Moses,
4 ସେହି ଦୀପବୃକ୍ଷର କର୍ମ ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣର ପିଟାକର୍ମ ଥିଲା; ତହିଁର ଗଣ୍ଡି ଓ ପୁଷ୍ପ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପିଟାକର୍ମ ଥିଲା; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ଆଦର୍ଶ ଦେଖାଇଥିଲେ, ତଦନୁସାରେ ସେ ଦୀପବୃକ୍ଷ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ।
Now, this, was the work of the lampstand—beaten work of gold both in the shaft thereof and in the flowers thereof, was it beaten work, according to the appearance which Yahweh caused to appear unto Moses, so, made he the lampstand.
5 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,
And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
6 “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ନେଇ ଶୁଚି କର।
Take the Levites, out of the midst of the sons of Israel, —and thou shalt purify them.
7 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶୁଚି କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହିରୂପ କରିବ; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପବିତ୍ରୀକରଣ ଜଳ ପ୍ରକ୍ଷେପ କର ଓ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣାର ସମସ୍ତ ଶରୀରରେ କ୍ଷୁର ଚଳାନ୍ତୁ ଓ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଧୋଇ ଆପଣା ଆପଣାକୁ ଶୁଚି କରନ୍ତୁ।
And, thus, shalt thou do unto them, to purify them, sprinkle upon them sin-cleansing water, —then shall they, cause a razor to pass over all their flesh, and shall wash their clothes and so make themselves pure.
8 ତହିଁ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେମାନେ ଏକ ଗୋବତ୍ସ ଓ ତହିଁର ତୈଳ ମିଶ୍ରିତ ସରୁ ମଇଦାର ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ଆଣନ୍ତୁ, ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆଉ ଏକ ଗୋବତ୍ସ ପାପାର୍ଥକ ବଳି ନିମନ୍ତେ ନେବ।
Then shall they take a choice young bullock, with the meal-offering thereof even fine meal overflowed with oil, —and a second choice young bullock, shalt thou take. as a sin-bearer.
9 ତହୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମାଗମ-ତମ୍ବୁ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ କରାଇବ; ପୁଣି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ସମସ୍ତ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀକୁ ଏକତ୍ର କରିବ।
Then shalt thou bring the Levites near, before the tent of meeting, —and shalt call together all the assembly of the sons of Israel;
10 ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ କରାଇବ; ତହୁଁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରଖିବେ।
and shalt bring the Levites near before Yahweh, —and the sons of Israel shall lean their hands upon the Levites;
11 ଆଉ ହାରୋଣ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ପକ୍ଷରେ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଦୋଳନୀୟ ଉପହାର ରୂପେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବ, ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସେବା କରି ପାରିବେ।
and Aaron shall offer the Levites as a wave-offering before Yahweh, from among the sons of Israel, —so shall they be for performing the laborious work of Yahweh.
12 ତହିଁ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ସେହି ଦୁଇ ଗୋବତ୍ସର ମସ୍ତକରେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରଖିବେ; ତହୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାୟଶ୍ଚିତ୍ତ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଗୋଟିଏକୁ ପାପାର୍ଥକ ବଳି ରୂପେ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟଟିକୁ ହୋମାର୍ଥକ ବଳି ରୂପେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବ।
And, the Levites, shall lean their hands upon the head of the bullocks; then make thou of the one a sin-bearer and of the other an ascending-sacrifice unto Yahweh, to put a propitiatory-covering over the Levites.
13 ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ହାରୋଣ ଓ ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ରଗଣ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ କରାଇ ଦୋଳନୀୟ ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ରୂପେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବ।
Thus shalt thou cause the Levites to stand before Aaron and before his sons, —thus shalt thou offer them as a wave-offering unto Yahweh;
14 ଏହିରୂପେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଠାରୁ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ପୃଥକ କରିବ; ତହିଁରେ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ହେବେ।
thus shalt thou separate the Levites out of the midst of the sons of Israel, —thus shall the Levites become mine.
15 ତହିଁ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ସେବା କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସମାଗମ-ତମ୍ବୁରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବେ; ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶୁଚି କରି ଦୋଳନୀୟ ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ରୂପେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବ।
And after that, shall the Levites enter to do the labour of the tent of meeting, —so shalt thou purify them, and offer them as a wave-offering,
16 କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରୂପେ ଦତ୍ତ ଲୋକ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ଗର୍ଭଫଳ ବଦଳେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲୁ।
For, given, given, they are unto me, out of the midst of the sons of Israel, —instead of every firstborn that a mother beareth from among the sons of Israel, have I taken them unto me.
17 ଯେହେତୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଓ ପଶୁ, ଉଭୟର ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ଆମ୍ଭର ମିସର ଦେଶର ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରଥମଜାତଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କରିବା ଦିନ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ ପବିତ୍ର କଲୁ।
For mine, is every firstborn among the sons of Israel, among men and among beasts, —on the day when I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt, did I hallow them unto me.
18 ପୁଣି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ବଦଳେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲୁ।
Therefore have I taken the Levites, —instead of every firstborn among the sons of Israel;
19 ଆଉ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବା ସମୟରେ ଯେପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମହାମାରୀ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ନ ହୁଏ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାଗମ-ତମ୍ବୁରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ବଦଳେ ସେବା ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାୟଶ୍ଚିତ୍ତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦାନ ରୂପେ ହାରୋଣ ଓ ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ରଗଣଙ୍କୁ ଦେଲୁ।”
therefore have I given the Levites as a gift unto Aaron and unto his sons, out of the midst of the sons of Israel, to do the laborious work of the sons of Israel in the tent of meeting, and to put a propitiatory-covering over the sons of Israel, —so shall there be among the sons of Israel, no plague, by the coming nigh of the sons of Israel unto the sanctuary.
20 ଏହିରୂପେ ମୋଶା, ହାରୋଣ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କଲେ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ସମସ୍ତ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇଥିଲେ, ତଦନୁସାରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କଲେ।
And Moses and Aaron and all the assembly of the sons of Israel did thus unto the Levites, —according to all that Yahweh commanded Moses as touching the Levites, so, did the sons of Israel unto them.
21 ପୁଣି, ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣାକୁ ପାପରୁ ପରିଷ୍କାର କଲେ ଓ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଧୌତ କଲେ; ତହୁଁ ହାରୋଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଦୋଳନୀୟ ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ରୂପେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ; ଆଉ ହାରୋଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶୁଚି କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାୟଶ୍ଚିତ୍ତ କଲେ।
And the Levites accepted the cleansing from sin and washed their clothes, and Aaron offered them as a wave-offering before Yahweh, —and Aaron put a propitiatory-covering over them to make them pure.
22 ତହିଁ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ହାରୋଣର ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଓ ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ରଗଣ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ସେବାକର୍ମ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସମାଗମ-ତମ୍ବୁରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲେ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ ଯେପରି ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇଥିଲେ, ତଦନୁସାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କଲେ।
And after that, went the Levites in to do their laborious work in the tent of meeting, before Aaron and before his sons, —as Yahweh commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so, did they unto them.
23 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,
And Yahweh spake unto Moses saying;
24 “ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଏହି ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ପଚିଶ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସରୁ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ସମାଗମ-ତମ୍ବୁରେ ସେବାକର୍ମ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେବକ ଶ୍ରେଣୀଭୁକ୍ତ ହେବେ।
This is what concerneth the Levites, —from twenty-five years old and upwards, shall they enter to take rank in the host, for doing the laborious work of the tent of meeting;
25 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ପଚାଶ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ହେଲେ, ସେବାକର୍ମରୁ ନିବୃତ୍ତ ହୋଇ ଆଉ ସେବା କରିବେ ନାହିଁ;
but from the age of fifty years, shall they retire from taking rank in the labour, and shall do laborious work no more;
26 ତଥାପି ସେମାନେ ରକ୍ଷଣୀୟ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବାରେ ସମାଗମ-ତମ୍ବୁରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଭ୍ରାତା ସହିତ ସେବାକର୍ମ କରିବେ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ସେବା କରିବେ ନାହିଁ; ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ରକ୍ଷଣୀୟ ବିଷୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଏରୂପ କରିବ।”
yet shall they wait upon their brethren in the tent of meeting, by keeping charge, but laborious work, shall they not perform, —thus, shalt thou do unto the Levites, as touching their charges.
