1 ଯେଉଁ ଯାଜକମାନେ ଓ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ଶଲ୍ଟୀୟେଲର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିରୁବ୍ବାବିଲ୍ ଓ ଯେଶୂୟ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଆସିଥିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ଏହି, ଯଥା, ସରାୟ, ଯିରିମୀୟ, ଏଜ୍ରା;
This is a list of the priests and Levites who came back with Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua, the high priest: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
2 ଅମରୀୟ, ମଲ୍ଲୂକ, ହଟୂଶ୍,
Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,
3 ଶଖନୀୟ, ରହୂମ୍, ମରେମୋତ୍;
Shecaniah, Rehum, Meremoth,
4 ଇଦ୍ଦୋ, ଗିନ୍ନଥୋୟ, ଅବୀୟ;
Iddo, Ginnethon, Abijah,
5 ମିୟାମୀନ୍, ମୋୟଦୀୟ, ବିଲ୍ଗା;
Miniamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
6 ଶମୟୀୟ ଓ ଯୋୟାରୀବ୍, ଯିଦୟୀୟ;
Shemaiah, Joiarib, Jedaiah,
7 ସଲ୍ଲ, ଆମୋକ, ହିଲ୍କୀୟ, ଯିଦୟୀୟ। ଏମାନେ ଯେଶୂୟଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କ ଓ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଥିଲେ।
Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, and Jedaiah. These were the leaders of the priests and their relatives in Jeshua's time.
8 ଆଉ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ, ଯଥା, ଯେଶୂୟ, ବିନ୍ନୁୟି, କଦ୍ମୀୟେଲ, ଶେରେବୀୟ, ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ମତ୍ତନୀୟ, ଏହି ମତ୍ତନୀୟ ଓ ତାହାର ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ-ସେବାର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଥିଲେ।
The Levites were Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, who with his fellow Levites was in charge of the songs of praise.
9 ମଧ୍ୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଭ୍ରାତା ବକ୍ବୁକୀୟ ଓ ଉନ୍ନି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ପ୍ରହରୀକର୍ମ କଲେ।
Two other Levites, Bakbukiah and Unni, stood opposite them in the service.
10 ପୁଣି, ଯେଶୂୟର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋୟାକୀମ୍, ଯୋୟାକୀମ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲୀୟାଶୀବ ଓ ଇଲିୟାଶୀବ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋୟାଦ୍,
Jeshua the high priest was the father of Joiakim, who was the father of Eliashib, who was the father of Joiada,
11 ଯୋୟାଦ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋନାଥନ ଓ ଯୋନାଥନର ପୁତ୍ର ଯଦ୍ଦୂୟ।
who was the father of Jonathan, who was the father of Jaddua.
12 ପୁଣି, ଯୋୟାକୀମ୍ର ସମୟରେ ଏହି ଯାଜକମାନେ ପିତୃବଂଶ-ପ୍ରଧାନ ଥିଲେ, ଯଥା, ସରାୟ-ବଂଶର ମରାୟ;
In Joiakim's time, these were the family leaders of the priests: of the family of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;
13 ଯିରିମୀୟ-ବଂଶର ହନାନୀୟ; ଏଜ୍ରା-ବଂଶର ମଶୁଲ୍ଲମ୍; ଅମରୀୟ-ବଂଶର ଯିହୋହାନନ୍;
of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;
14 ମଲ୍ଲୁକି-ବଂଶର ଯୋନାଥନ, ଶବନୀୟ-ବଂଶର ଯୋଷେଫ;
of Malluchi, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;
15 ହାରୀମ-ବଂଶର ଅଦନ୍; ମରାୟୋତ୍-ବଂଶର ହିଲ୍କୟ;
of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;
16 ଇଦ୍ଦୋ-ବଂଶର ଜିଖରୀୟ; ଗିନ୍ନଥୋନ-ବଂଶର ମଶୁଲ୍ଲମ୍;
of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;
17 ଅବୀୟ-ବଂଶର ସିଖ୍ରି; ମିନ୍ୟାମୀନ-ବଂଶର, ମୋୟଦୀୟ-ବଂଶର ପିଲ୍ଟେୟ;
of Abijah, Zichri; of Miniamin and of Moadiah, Piltai;
18 ବିଲ୍ଗା-ବଂଶର ଶମ୍ମୂୟ; ଶମୟୀୟ-ବଂଶର ଯିହୋନାଥନ୍;

19 ଆଉ, ଯୋୟାରୀବ୍-ବଂଶର ମତ୍ତନୟ; ଯିଦୟୀୟ-ବଂଶର ଉଷି;

20 ସଲ୍ଲୟ-ବଂଶର କଲ୍ଲୟ;

21 ଆମୋକ-ବଂଶର ଏବର; ହିଲ୍କୀୟ-ବଂଶର ହଶବୀୟ; ଯିଦୟୀୟ-ବଂଶର ନଥନେଲ।

22 ଇଲୀୟାଶୀବ, ଯୋୟାଦ୍ ଓ ଯୋହାନନ୍ ଓ ଯଦ୍ଦୂୟ ସମୟରେ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ, ମଧ୍ୟ ପାରସିକ ଦାରୀୟାବସର ଅଧିକାର ସମୟରେ ଯାଜକମାନେ ପିତୃବଂଶ-ପ୍ରଧାନ ରୂପେ ବଂଶାବଳୀରେ ଲିଖିତ ହେଲେ।
The family leaders of the Levites in the time of Eliashib, Joiada, Johanan, and Jaddua, in addition to those of the priests, were recorded during the reign of Darius the Persian.
23 ଲେବୀ ବଂଶଜାତ ପିତୃବଂଶ-ପ୍ରଧାନମାନଙ୍କ ନାମ ଇଲୀୟାଶୀବର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋହାନନ୍ର ସମୟ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବଂଶାବଳୀ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲିଖିତ ହେଲା।
As for the genealogy of the sons of Levi, the family leaders up to the time of Johanan, son of Eliashib, were listed in the Book of the Records.
24 ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଧାନଗଣ; ହଶବୀୟ, ଶେରେବୀୟ ଓ କଦ୍ମୀୟେଲର ପୁତ୍ର ଯେଶୂୟ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖସ୍ଥ ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଲୋକ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ଦଳ ଦଳ ହୋଇ ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଓ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବାକୁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ ହେଲେ।
The Levite leaders were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua, son of Kadmiel, together with their fellow Levites, who stood opposite them, each section giving praise and thanks and responding to one another, as arranged by David, the man of God.
25 ମତ୍ତନୀୟ ଓ ବକ୍ବୁକୀୟ, ଓବଦୀୟ, ମଶୁଲ୍ଲମ୍, ଟଲ୍ମୋନ, ଅକ୍କୂବ, ଦ୍ୱାରପାଳ ହୋଇ ଦ୍ୱାର ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଭଣ୍ଡାର-ଗୃହସକଳର ପ୍ରହରୀକର୍ମ କଲେ।
They were joined by Mattaniah, Bakbukiah, and Obadiah. Meshullam, Talmon, and Akkub were gatekeepers who guarded the storehouses at the gates.
26 ଏମାନେ ଯୋଷାଦକର ପୌତ୍ର ଯେଶୂୟର ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋୟାକୀମ୍ ସମୟରେ, ଆଉ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ନିହିମୀୟା ଓ ଅଧ୍ୟାପକ ଏଜ୍ରା ଯାଜକର ସମୟରେ ଥିଲେ।
They served in the time of Joiakim, son of Jeshua, son of Jozadak, and in the time of Nehemiah the governor and Ezra the priest and scribe.
27 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ପ୍ରାଚୀର-ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ସମୟରେ ଲୋକମାନେ କରତାଳ, ନେବଲ ଓ ବୀଣା ବଜାଇ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଓ ଗାନ ସହିତ ଆନନ୍ଦରେ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା-ଉତ୍ସବ ପାଳନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ଆଣିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସକଳ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣ କଲେ।
In order to dedicate the wall of Jerusalem, the Levites were called from everywhere they were living to come to Jerusalem and celebrate with joy the dedication with songs of praise and thanks, accompanied by cymbals, harps, and lyres.
28 ଆଉ, ଗାୟକମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗସ୍ଥିତ ପଦାଭୂମିରୁ ଓ ନଟୋଫାତୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ନାନା ଗ୍ରାମରୁ;
The singers were also brought in from the area around Jerusalem and from the villages of the Netophathites,
29 ମଧ୍ୟ ବେଥ୍-ଗିଲ୍ଗଲରୁ, ଆଉ ଗେବା ଓ ଅସ୍ମାବତ୍ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରୁ ଏକତ୍ରିତ ହେଲେ; କାରଣ ଗାୟକମାନେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଗ୍ରାମ ବସାଇଥିଲେ।
as well as from Beth-gilgal and from the area of Geba and Azmaveth, for the singers had built villages for themselves all around Jerusalem.
30 ପୁଣି, ଯାଜକମାନେ ଓ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣାକୁ ଶୁଚି କଲେ; ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଦ୍ୱାରସବୁ ଓ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ଶୁଚି କଲେ।
Once the priests and the Levites had purified themselves, they purified the people, the gates, and the wall.
31 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୁଁ ଯିହୁଦାର ଅଧିପତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ଉପରକୁ ଆଣିଲି, ଆଉ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଓ ସଂକୀର୍ତ୍ତନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଦୁଇ ମହାଦଳ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କଲି; ତହିଁରେ ଏକ ଦଳ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ଵରେ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ଉପର ଦେଇ ଖତ-ଦ୍ୱାର ଆଡ଼କୁ ଗଲେ;
I had the leaders of Judah go up on the wall, and arranged two large choirs that to give thanks. One group went to right along the wall to the Refuse Gate.
32 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ହୋଶୟିୟ ଓ ଯିହୁଦାର ଅଧିପତିବର୍ଗର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧେକ,
Hoshaiah and half the leaders of Judah followed them,
33 ଆଉ ଅସରୀୟ, ଏଜ୍ରା ଓ ମଶୁଲ୍ଲମ୍,
with Azariah, Ezra, Meshullam,
34 ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ବିନ୍ୟାମୀନ୍ ଓ ଶମୟୀୟ ଓ ଯିରିମୀୟ
Judah, Benjamin, Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,
35 ଓ କେତେକ ଯାଜକ-ସନ୍ତାନ ତୂରୀ ନେଇ ଗମନ କଲେ; ଆସଫ-ବଂଶଜାତ ସକ୍କୁରର ବୃଦ୍ଧ ପ୍ରପୌତ୍ର, ମୀଖାୟର ପ୍ରପୌତ୍ର, ମତ୍ତନୀୟର ପୌତ୍ର, ଶମୟୀୟର ପୁତ୍ର ଯେ ଯୋନାଥନ, ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ର ଜିଖରୀୟ
as well as some of the priests with trumpets, and Zechariah, son of Jonathan, son of Shemaiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Micaiah, son of Zaccur, son of Asaph,
36 ଓ ତାହାର ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣ ଶମୟୀୟ ଓ ଅସରେଲ୍, ମିଲଲୟ, ଗିଲଲୟ, ମାୟୀୟ, ନଥନେଲ ଓ ଯିହୁଦା, ହନାନି, ଏମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଲୋକ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ନିରୂପିତ ନାନା ବାଦ୍ୟଯନ୍ତ୍ର ନେଇ ଗମନ କଲେ; ଏଜ୍ରା ଅଧ୍ୟାପକ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଆଗେ ଆଗେ ଚାଲିଲେ;
and his fellow priests, Shemaiah, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, Judah, and Hanani, along with the musical instruments as required by David, the man of God. Ezra the scribe led them.
37 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ନିର୍ଝରଦ୍ୱାର ନିକଟ ହୋଇ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖସ୍ଥ ସଳଖ ପଥରେ ଦାଉଦ-ନଗରର ପାହାଚ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରାଚୀରର ଉଠାଣିରେ ଉଠି ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୃହ ଉପର ଦେଇ ପୂର୍ବ ଆଡ଼େ ଜଳଦ୍ୱାର ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଗଲେ।
At the Fountain Gate they headed straight up by the stairs of the city of David, where the wall goes uphill, above the house of David, and on to the Water Gate on the east.
38 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ୟ ଯେଉଁ ଦଳ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ, ସେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବାକୁ ଗଲେ, ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଓ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧେକ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ଉପରେ ତୁନ୍ଦୁରୁ-ଦୁର୍ଗ ଦେଇ ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଗଲୁ;
The other choir group went in the opposite direction. I followed them, along with half the people, on the wall passing the Tower of the Ovens, on to the Broad Wall,
39 ଆଉ, ଇଫ୍ରୟିମ-ଦ୍ୱାର ଓ ପୁରାତନ ଦ୍ୱାର ଓ ମତ୍ସ୍ୟଦ୍ୱାର ଓ ହନନେଲ ଦୁର୍ଗ ଓ ହମିୟ ଦୁର୍ଗ ଦେଇ ମେଷଦ୍ୱାର ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଗଲୁ; ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ ପ୍ରହରୀ-ଦ୍ୱାରରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ ରହିଲେ।
over the Ephraim Gate, the Jeshanah Gate, the Fish Gate, the Tower of Hananel, and the Tower of the Hundred, as far as the Sheep Gate, stopping at the Guard Gate.
40 ଏହିରୂପେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଗୃହରେ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗକାରୀ ସେହି ଦୁଇ ଦଳ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ, ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷମାନଙ୍କର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧେକ;
Both thanksgiving choirs then took their places in God's Temple. I followed with the group of leaders that was with me,
41 ଆଉ ଇଲୀୟାକୀମ୍, ମାସେୟ, ମିନ୍ୟାମୀନ, ମୀଖାୟ, ଇଲୀୟୋଐନୟ, ଜିଖରୀୟ, ହନାନୀୟ, ତୂରୀବାଦକ, ଏହି ଯାଜକମାନେ;
along with the priests blowing their trumpets: Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah.
42 ଆଉ, ମାସେୟ ଓ ଶମୟୀୟ ଓ ଇଲୀୟାସର ଓ ଉଷି ଓ ଯିହୋହାନନ୍ ଓ ମଲ୍କୀୟ ଓ ଏଲମ୍ ଓ ଏସର୍, ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ ରହିଲୁ। ସେତେବେଳେ ଗାୟକମାନେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଯିଷ୍ରହିୟ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ୱରରେ ଗାନ କଲେ।
Then came the singers Maaseiah, Shemaiah, Eleazar, Uzzi, Jehohanan, Malchijah, Elam, and Ezer, and the choirs sang, directed by Jezrahiah.
43 ପୁଣି, ସେହି ଦିନ ଲୋକମାନେ ମହାବଳିଦାନ କରି ଆନନ୍ଦ କଲେ; କାରଣ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ମହାନନ୍ଦରେ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ କରିଥିଲେ; ଆଉ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ, ମଧ୍ୟ ଓ ବାଳକ ବାଳିକାଗଣ ଆନନ୍ଦ କଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ଆନନ୍ଦଧ୍ୱନି ଅନେକ ଦୂର ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଶୁଣାଗଲା।
Many sacrifices were offered that day, celebrating that God had brought them so much happiness, tremendous happiness. The women and children also celebrated, and the sounds of joy in Jerusalem could be heard far away.
44 ପୁଣି, ସେହି ଦିନରେ ଧନ ଓ ଉତ୍ତୋଳନୀୟ ଉପହାର, ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ଫଳ ଓ ଦଶମାଂଶ, ଯାଜକ ଓ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନାନା ନଗରର କ୍ଷେତ୍ରାନୁସାରେ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା-ନିରୂପିତ ଅଂଶ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିବା ପାଇଁ କୋଠରିସବୁରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ ହେଲେ; କାରଣ ପରିଚର୍ଯ୍ୟାକାରୀ ଯାଜକ ଓ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସକାଶୁ ଯିହୁଦା ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା।
On the same day men were put in charge over the storerooms that contained the offerings, the first part of the crops, and tithes. What was allocated by the Law for the priests and Levites was brought into these storerooms from the fields around the towns, because all the people of Judah were happy for the service of the priests and Levites.
45 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ଦାଉଦ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସେବା କଲେ ଓ ଶୁଚି ହେଲେ, ଆଉ ଗାୟକମାନେ ଓ ଦ୍ୱାରପାଳମାନେ ସେହିପରି କଲେ।
They were responsible for the worship of their God and for the service of purification, along with the singers and gatekeepers, following the instructions of David and his son Solomon.
46 କାରଣ ପୂର୍ବକାଳେ ଦାଉଦ ଓ ଆସଫଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ ଗାୟକମାନଙ୍କର ଜଣେ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଥିଲା ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଓ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦାର୍ଥକ ନାନା ଗୀତ ଥିଲା।
For long ago, back in the time of David and Asaph, directors had been appointed for the singers and for the songs of praise and thanks to God.
47 ପୁଣି, ଯିରୁବ୍ବାବିଲ୍ ଓ ନିହିମୀୟାଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ ସମଗ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ପ୍ରତିଦିନର ପ୍ରୟୋଜନାନୁସାରେ ଗାୟକମାନଙ୍କର ଓ ଦ୍ୱାରପାଳମାନଙ୍କର ଅଂଶ ଦେଲେ; ଆଉ ଲୋକମାନେ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କଲେ ଓ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ହାରୋଣ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କଲେ।
So in the time of Zerubbabel and of Nehemiah, everyone in Israel provided the daily food allowances for the singers and the gatekeepers. They also made sure to provide for the other Levites, and the Levites gave a share of this to the descendants of Aaron.
