ମୀଖା 6
1 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯାହା କହନ୍ତି, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏବେ ଶୁଣ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଉଠ, ପର୍ବତଗଣର ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ବିବାଦ କର ଓ ଉପପର୍ବତଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭର ରବ ଶୁଣନ୍ତୁ।
Hear ye now what the LORD saith: Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.
2 ହେ ପର୍ବତଗଣ, ହେ ପୃଥିବୀର ଅଟଳ ଭିତ୍ତିମୂଳସକଳ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବିବାଦ ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣ; କାରଣ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବିବାଦ ଅଛି ଓ ସେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସହିତ ବାଦାନୁବାଦ କରିବେ।
Hear, O ye mountains, the LORD'S controversy, and ye enduring rocks, the foundations of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with His people, and He will plead with Israel.
3 “ହେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଆମ୍ଭେ କʼଣ କରିଅଛୁ? ଓ କାହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କ୍ଳାନ୍ତ କରିଅଛୁ? ଆମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦିଅ।
O My people, what have I done unto thee? And wherein have I wearied thee? Testify against Me.
4 ଆମ୍ଭେ ତ ମିସର ଦେଶରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଲୁ ଓ ଦାସଗୃହରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କଲୁ; ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଗ୍ରସର ହେବା ପାଇଁ ମୋଶା, ହାରୋଣ ଓ ମରୀୟମକୁ ପଠାଇଲୁ।
For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of bondage, and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
5 ହେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକେ, ମୋୟାବର ରାଜା ବାଲାକ କି ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା କରିଥିଲା ଓ ବିୟୋରର ପୁତ୍ର ବିଲୀୟମ୍ ତାହାକୁ କି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇଥିଲା, ତାହା ଏବେ ସ୍ମରଣ କର; ଶିଟୀମଠାରୁ ଗିଲ୍ଗଲ୍ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସ୍ମରଣ କର, ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ନ୍ୟାୟ କର୍ମସକଳ ଜ୍ଞାତ ହୋଇ ପାରିବ।”
O My people, remember now what Balak king of Moab devised, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him; from Shittim unto Gilgal, that ye may know the righteous acts of the LORD.
6 “ଆମ୍ଭେ କଅଣ ଘେନି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖକୁ ଆସିବା ଓ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରିବା? ଆମ୍ଭେ କି ହୋମବଳି ରୂପେ ଏକ ବର୍ଷୀୟ ଗୋବତ୍ସମାନ ନେଇ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖକୁ ଆସିବା?
'Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before Him with burnt-offerings, with calves of a year old?
7 ସହସ୍ର ସହସ୍ର ମେଷରେ ଅବା ଅୟୁତ ଅୟୁତ ତୈଳର ନଦୀରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କି ପ୍ରସନ୍ନ ହେବେ? ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଆଜ୍ଞାଲଙ୍ଘନ ସକାଶେ କି ଆପଣା ପ୍ରଥମଜାତକୁ, ଆମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରାଣର ପାପ ସକାଶେ କି ଆପଣା ଶରୀରର ଫଳ ଦାନ କରିବା?”
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my first-born for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?'
8 ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ, ଯାହା ଉତ୍ତମ, ତାହା ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜଣାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି; ନ୍ୟାୟାଚରଣ, ଦୟା ଭଲ ପାଇବା ଓ ନମ୍ର ଭାବରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଗମନାଗମନ କରିବାର, ଏହାଛଡ଼ା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଆଉ କଅଣ ଚାହାନ୍ତି?
It hath been told thee, O man, what is good, and what the LORD doth require of thee: only to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.
9 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି ନଗର ପ୍ରତି ଘୋଷଣା କରୁଅଛି ଓ ଜ୍ଞାନବାନ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନାମ ଦେଖିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଓ ତନ୍ନିରୂପଣକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ମାନ।
Hark! the LORD crieth unto the city — and it is wisdom to have regard for Thy name — hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.
10 ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ଗୃହରେ କି ଏବେ ହେଁ ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାର ଭଣ୍ଡାର ଓ ଘୃଣାଯୋଗ୍ୟ ସାନ ଐଫା ଅଛି?
Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable?
11 ଆମ୍ଭେ କି ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାର ନିକ୍ତିରେ ଓ ଛଳନାରୂପ ବଟଖରାର ଥଳୀରେ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷ ହେବା।
'Shall I be pure with wicked balances, and with a bag of deceitful weights?'
12 ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନର ଧନୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ଦୌରାତ୍ମ୍ୟରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ତହିଁର ନିବାସୀଗଣ ମିଥ୍ୟା କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, ପୁଣି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମୁଖ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଜିହ୍ୱା ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚକ।
For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.
13 ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବେଦନାଯୁକ୍ତ କ୍ଷତରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରହାର କରିଅଛୁ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମସ୍ତ ପାପ ସକାଶୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିଅଛୁ।
Therefore I also do smite thee with a grievous wound; I do make thee desolate because of thy sins.
14 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭୋଜନ କରିବ ମାତ୍ର ତୃପ୍ତ ନୋହିବ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର କ୍ଷୀଣତା ରହିବ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ଥାନାନ୍ତର କରିବ, ମାତ୍ର ନିରାପଦରେ ବୋହି ନେଇ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ ଓ ଯାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବହି ନେବ, ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭେ ଖଡ୍ଗକୁ ଦେବା।
Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy sickness shall be in thine inward parts; and thou shalt conceive, but shalt not bring forth; and whomsoever thou bringest forth will I give up to the sword.
15 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବୁଣିବ, ମାତ୍ର କାଟିବ ନାହିଁ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜୀତଫଳ ପେଷିବ, ମାତ୍ର ଆପଣା ଦେହରେ ତୈଳ ମର୍ଦ୍ଦନ କରିବ ନାହିଁ; ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଫଳ ପେଷିବ, ମାତ୍ର ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ପାନ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।
Thou shalt sow, but shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but shalt not anoint thee with oil; and the vintage, but shalt not drink wine.
16 କାରଣ ଅମ୍ରିଙ୍କର ବିଧି ଓ ଆହାବ-ବଂଶର କ୍ରିୟାସକଳ ପାଳନ କରାଯାଉଅଛି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପରାମର୍ଶରେ ଚାଲୁଅଛ; ତହିଁ ସକାଶୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉତ୍ସନ୍ନ (ସ୍ଥାନ) କରିବା ଓ ତହିଁର ନିବାସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶୀସ୍ ଶବ୍ଦର ବିଷୟ କରିବା; ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଅପମାନର ଭାର ବହିବ।
For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I may make thee an astonishment, and the inhabitants thereof a hissing; and ye shall bear the reproach of My people.
