ମାଥିଉ 24
1 ଯୀଶୁ ମନ୍ଦିରରୁ ବାହାରି ଚାଲିଯାଉଥିବା ସମୟରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ମନ୍ଦିରର ପ୍ରାସାଦସମୂହ ଦେଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିଲେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,
And Jesus went out, and was departing from the temple, and his disciples came to him to point out to him the buildings of the temple.
2 “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କଅଣ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଦେଖୁ ନାହଁ? ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ୟ କହୁଅଛି, ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଏକ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ଅନ୍ୟ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ଉପରେ ରହିବ ନାହିଁ, ସମସ୍ତ ହିଁ ଭୂମିସାତ୍ ହେବ।”
But Jesus said to them: Do you not see all these things? Verily I say to you, There shall not be left here a stone upon a stone that shall not be thrown down,
3 ପରେ ସେ ଜୀତପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ ବସନ୍ତେ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଛାମୁକୁ ଗୋପନରେ ଆସି ପଚାରିଲେ, ଏସବୁ କେବେ ଘଟିବ, ପୁଣି, ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଆଗମନ ଓ ଯୁଗାନ୍ତର ଲକ୍ଷଣ କଅଣ, ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁହନ୍ତୁ। (aiōn g165)
And as he was sitting upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, and said: Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the age? (aiōn g165)
4 ସେଥିରେ ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, “ସାବଧାନ, କେହି ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ନ କରେ।
And Jesus answered and said to them: Take heed that no one deceive you.
5 କାରଣ ଅନେକେ ମୋ ନାମରେ ଆସି ମୁଁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ବୋଲି କହି ଅନେକଙ୍କୁ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରିବେ।
For many will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and will deceive many.
6 ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧର ବିଷୟ ଓ ସଂଗ୍ରାମର ଜନରବ ଶୁଣିବ; ସାବଧାନ, ବ୍ୟାକୁଳ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଅବଶ୍ୟ ଘଟିବ, କିନ୍ତୁ ସେହି କାଳ ଯୁଗାନ୍ତ ନୁହେଁ।
And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled, for all things must be fulfilled; but the end is not yet.
7 କାରଣ ଜାତି ବିପକ୍ଷରେ ଜାତି ଓ ରାଜ୍ୟ ବିପକ୍ଷରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଉଠିବ, ପୁଣି, ସ୍ଥାନେ ସ୍ଥାନେ ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ ଓ ଭୂମିକମ୍ପ ହେବ।
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in various places.
8 କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରସବବେଦନାର ଆରମ୍ଭମାତ୍ର।
But all these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଲୋକେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କଷ୍ଟ ଭୋଗିବା ପାଇଁ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରିବେ, ଆଉ ମୋହର ନାମ ସକାଶେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତ ଜାତିଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଘୃଣିତ ହେବ।
Then they will deliver you up to affliction, and kill you; and you will be hated by all nations on my account.
10 ସେତେବେଳେ ଅନେକେ ବିଘ୍ନ ପାଇବେ, ପୁଣି, ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ଧରାଇଦେବେ ଓ ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ଘୃଣା କରିବେ,
And then will many be ensnared, and they will deliver one another up, and hate one another;
11 ଆଉ ଅନେକ ଭଣ୍ଡ ଭାବବାଦୀ ଉଠି ଅନେକଙ୍କୁ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରିବେ,
and many false prophets will arise, and deceive many;
12 ପୁଣି, ଅଧର୍ମ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇବାରୁ ଅଧିକାଂଶ ଲୋକଙ୍କର ପ୍ରେମ ଶୀତଳ ହୋଇଯିବ।
and because iniquity abounds, the love of many will grow cold.
13 ମାତ୍ର ଯେ ଶେଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଧୈର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଧରି ରହିବ, ସେ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପାଇବ।
But he that endures to the end, shall be saved.
14 ଆଉ, ସମସ୍ତ ଜାତି ନିକଟରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ରାଜ୍ୟର ଏହି ସୁସମାଚାର ସମୁଦାୟ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ଘୋଷଣା କରାଯିବ, ତତ୍ପରେ ଯୁଗାନ୍ତ ହେବ।
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole habitable earth, for a testimony to all nations, and then shall the end come.
15 ଏଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଦାନିୟେଲ ଭାବବାଦୀଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଉକ୍ତ ଧ୍ୱଂସକାରୀ ଘୃଣ୍ୟ ବସ୍ତୁକୁ ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଅବସ୍ଥିତ ଦେଖିବ (ପାଠକ ବୁଝନ୍ତୁ),
When, therefore, you see that detestable thing that makes desolate, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, (let him that reads understand; )
16 ସେତେବେଳେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଯିହୂଦିୟା ପ୍ରଦେଶରେ ଥାଆନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ପର୍ବତମାଳାକୁ ପଳାଇଯାଆନ୍ତୁ;
then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains;
17 ଯେ ଛାତ ଉପରେ ଥାଏ, ସେ ଆପଣା ଘର ଭିତରୁ ଜିନିଷପତ୍ର ନେଇଯିବା ପାଇଁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ନ ଆସୁ;
let not him that is on the house-top come down to take his goods out of his house;
18 ପୁଣି, ଯେ କ୍ଷେତରେ ଥାଏ, ସେ ଆପଣା ବସ୍ତ୍ର ନେଇଯିବା ପାଇଁ ଲେଉଟି ନ ଯାଉ।
and let not him that is in the field turn back to take his clothing.
19 ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଗର୍ଭବତୀ ଓ ସ୍ତନ୍ୟଦାତ୍ରୀ, ହାୟ, ସେମାନେ କ୍ଲେଶର ପାତ୍ର,
But alas for those who are with child, and those who give suck in those days!
20 କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପଳାୟନ ଯେପରି ଶୀତକାଳରେ କିମ୍ବା ବିଶ୍ରାମବାର ଦିନରେ ନ ଘଟେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କର।
Pray that your flight may not be in the winter, nor on the Sabbath:
21 କାରଣ ସେତେବେଳେ ଏପରି ମହାକ୍ଲେଶ ଘଟିବ ଯେ ଜଗତର ଆରମ୍ଭରୁ ଆଜି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଘଟି ନାହିଁ, ପୁଣି, କେବେ ହେଁ ଘଟିବ ନାହିଁ।
for then shall be great affliction, such as has not been from the beginning of the world till now, nor shall ever be.
22 ଆଉ, ସେହି ସମୟ ଯେବେ ଊଣା କରାଯାଇ ନ ଥାଆନ୍ତା, ତେବେ କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପାଆନ୍ତା ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ମନୋନୀତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସକାଶେ ସେହି ସମୟ ଊଣା କରାଯିବ।
And unless those days should be made few, no flesh could be saved. But on account of the elect those days shall be made few.
23 ସେତେବେଳେ ‘ଦେଖ, ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଏଠାରେ’ କିମ୍ବା ‘ସେଠାରେ’, କେହି ଯେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏପରି କହିବ, ତେବେ ତାହା ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କର ନାହିଁ।
Then if any one shall say to you: Lo! here is the Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 କାରଣ ଭଣ୍ଡ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟମାନେ ଓ ଭଣ୍ଡ ଭାବବାଦୀମାନେ ଉଠି ଏପରି ମହା ମହା ଚିହ୍ନ ଓ ଅଦ୍ଭୁତ କର୍ମମାନ ଦେଖାଇବେ ଯେ, ଯଦି ସମ୍ଭବ ହୁଏ, ତେବେ ମନୋନୀତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରିବେ।
For false Christs and false prophets will arise, and will show great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
25 ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇଲି।
Behold, I have told you beforehand.
26 ଅତଏବ, ‘ଦେଖ, ସେ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି,’ ଲୋକେ ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି କଥା କହିବେ, ତେବେ ବାହାରିଯାଅ ନାହିଁ; ‘ଦେଖ, ସେ ଗୁପ୍ତ କୋଠରୀରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି,’ ଯଦି ଏହା କହିବେ, ତେବେ ତାହା ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କର ନାହିଁ।
Therefore, if they say to you: Behold, he is in the desert; go not out: Behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 କାରଣ ବିଜୁଳି ଯେପରି ପୂର୍ବଦିଗରୁ ମାରି ପଶ୍ଚିମଦିଗ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦେଖାଯାଏ, ସେପରି ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କର ଆଗମନ ହେବ।
For as the lightning comes out from the east, and shines even to the west, so also shall the coming of the Son of man be.
28 ଯେଉଁଠାରେ ଶବ ପଡ଼ିଥାଏ, ସେହିଠାରେ ଶାଗୁଣାଗୁଡ଼ାକ ଏକାଠି ହେବେ।”
For wherever the carcass is, there will the vultures come together.
29 “ମାତ୍ର ସେହି ସମୟର କଷ୍ଟ ପରେ ‘ହଠାତ୍ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଅନ୍ଧକାରମୟ ହେବ ଓ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ଆଲୋକ ଦେବ ନାହିଁ, ପୁଣି, ନକ୍ଷତ୍ରମାଳା ଆକାଶରୁ ପଡ଼ିବେ ଓ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳର ଶକ୍ତିସମୂହ ବିଚଳିତ ହେବେ।’
Immediately after the affliction of those days, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the hosts of the heavens shall be shaken.
30 ସେତେବେଳେ ଆକାଶରେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କର ଲକ୍ଷଣ ଦେଖାଯିବ, ପୁଣି, ସେ ସମୟରେ ପୃଥିବୀର ସମସ୍ତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ବିଳାପ କରିବେ ଏବଂ ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ମହାପରାକ୍ରମ ଓ ମହାମହିମା ସହ ଆକାଶର ମେଘମାଳାରେ ଆଗମନ କରିବା ଦେଖିବେ।
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the land mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 ଆଉ, ସେ ମହାତୂରୀଧ୍ୱନୀ ସହିତ ଆପଣା ଦୂତମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇବେ ଏବଂ ସେମାନେ ଆକାଶର ଏକ ସୀମାରୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ସୀମା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରୁ ତାହାଙ୍କର ମନୋନୀତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ର କରିବେ।”
And he will send his angels with a trumpet of great voice, and they shall gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 “ଡିମ୍ବିରିବୃକ୍ଷରୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତ ଶିକ୍ଷା କର; ଯେତେବେଳେ ତାହାର ଶାଖା କୋମଳ ହୋଇ ପଲ୍ଲବିତ ହୁଏ, ସେତେବେଳେ ଗ୍ରୀଷ୍ମକାଳ ସନ୍ନିକଟ ବୋଲି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣିଥାଅ;
Learn now a parable from the fig-tree: As soon as its branch becomes tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.
33 ସେହିପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଦେଖିଲେ ସେ ଦ୍ୱାରର ସନ୍ନିକଟ, ଏହା ଜାଣ।
So also, when you see all these things, know that it is near at the doors.
34 ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ୟ କହୁଅଛି, ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ନ ଘଟିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଏହି ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ପୁରୁଷ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରକାରେ ଲୋପ ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ।
Verily I say to you, This generation shall not pass away till all these things shall have taken place.
35 ଆକାଶ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀ ଲୋପ ପାଇବ, ମାତ୍ର ମୋହର ବାକ୍ୟସମୂହ କଦାପି ଲୋପ ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ।”
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 “କିନ୍ତୁ ସେହି ଦିନ ଓ ଦଣ୍ଡ ବିଷୟ କେହି ଜାଣନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ସ୍ୱର୍ଗର ଦୂତମାନେ କିମ୍ବା ପୁତ୍ର ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଜାଣନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, କେବଳ ମାତ୍ର ପିତା ଜାଣନ୍ତି।
But of that day and hour no one knows, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 ଆଉ ନୋହଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ ଯେପ୍ରକାର ଘଟିଥିଲା, ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କର ଆଗମନ ସମୟରେ ସେପ୍ରକାର ଘଟିବ।
But as the days of Noah were, so shall be the coming of the Son of man.
38 କାରଣ ଜଳପ୍ଳାବନର ପୂର୍ବବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସମୟରେ ଜାହାଜରେ ନୋହଙ୍କର ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବା ଦିନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଲୋକେ ଯେପରି ଭୋଜନପାନ ଏବଂ ବିବାହ କରିବା ଓ ବିବାହ ଦେବାରେ ବ୍ୟସ୍ତ ଥିଲେ,
For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, till the day in which Noah entered the ark,
39 ପୁଣି, ଜଳପ୍ଳାବନ ଆସି ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଭସାଇ ନ ନେବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଯେପରି ଜାଣି ନ ଥିଲେ, ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କର ଆଗମନ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେହି ପ୍ରକାର ହେବ।
and knew not, till the flood came and took them all away: so shall be the coming of the Son of man.
40 ସେତେବେଳେ ଦୁଇ ଜଣ କ୍ଷେତରେ ଥିବେ, ଜଣକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରାଯିବ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣକୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରାଯିବ;
Then two men shall be in the field; one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 ଦୁଇ ଜଣ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଚକି ପେଷୁଥିବେ, ଜଣକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରାଯିବ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣକୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରାଯିବ।
Two women shall be grinding at the mill; one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 ଅତଏବ, ଜାଗ୍ରତ ଥାଅ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଭୁ କେଉଁ ଦିନ ଆସିବେ, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣ ନାହିଁ।
Watch, therefore, for you know not at what hour your Lord is coming.
43 କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହା ଜାଣିଥାଅ, କେଉଁ ପ୍ରହରରେ ଚୋର ଆସିବ, ଏହା ଗୃହକର୍ତ୍ତା ଯଦି ଜାଣନ୍ତେ, ତାହାହେଲେ ସେ ଜାଗ୍ରତ ଥାଇ ଆପଣା ଗୃହରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବାକୁ ଦିଅନ୍ତେ ନାହିଁ।
But know this, That if the master of the house had known at what watch the thief comes, he would have watched, and would not have permitted his house to be broken open.
44 ଏଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହୋଇଥାଅ, କାରଣ ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମନେ କରୁ ନ ଥିବ, ସେହି ସମୟରେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ର ଆସିବେ।”
For this reason, be you also ready; for at an hour in which you think not, the Son of man comes.
45 “ତେବେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ପରିଜନମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯଥା ସମୟରେ ପ୍ରାପ୍ୟ ଦେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯାହାକୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କଲେ, ଏପରି ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତ ଓ ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନ ଦାସ କିଏ?
Who then is that faithful and wise servant, whom his master has made ruler over his household servants, to give them their food in due time?
46 ପ୍ରଭୁ ଆସି ଆପଣାର ଯେଉଁ ଦାସକୁ ସେପ୍ରକାର କରୁଥିବା ଦେଖିବେ, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ।
Blessed is that servant, whom his master, when he comes, shall find so doing.
47 ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ୟ କହୁଅଛି, ସେ ତାହାକୁ ଆପଣାର ସର୍ବସ୍ୱ ଉପରେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିବେ।
Verily I say to you, That he will make him ruler over all his goods.
48 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଦି ସେହି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଦାସ ମୋହର ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆସିବାର ବିଳମ୍ବ ଅଛି ବୋଲି ମନେ ମନେ କହି
But if that wicked servant shall say in his heart, My master delays his coming;
49 ଆପଣା ସହଦାସମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରହାର କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗେ, ଆଉ ମଦୁଆମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଭୋଜନପାନ କରେ,
and shall begin to strike his fellow-servants, and shall eat and drink with the drunken;
50 ତାହାହେଲେ ଯେଉଁ ଦିନ ସେ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରୁ ନ ଥିବ ଓ ଯେଉଁ ସମୟ ସେ ଜାଣି ନ ଥିବ, ସେହି ଦିନ ସେହି ସମୟରେ ତାହାର ପ୍ରଭୁ ଆସିବେ,
the master of that servant will come in a day in which he looks not for him, and at an hour which he knows not,
51 ପୁଣି, ସେ ତାହାକୁ ଦ୍ୱିଖଣ୍ଡ କରି କପଟୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ତାହାର ଅଂଶ ନିରୂପଣ କରିବେ; ସେଠାରେ ରୋଦନ ଓ ଦନ୍ତର କିଡ଼ିମିଡ଼ି ହେବ।”
and will cut him in two, and appoint him his part with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
