ମାଥିଉ 14
1 ସେହି ସମୟରେ ସାମନ୍ତରାଜା ହେରୋଦ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ସମ୍ବାଦ ଶୁଣି ଆପଣା ଦାସମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,
At that tyme Herod the tetrarcha hearde of the fame of Iesu
2 ଏ ବାପ୍ତିଜକ ଯୋହନ, ସେ ମୃତମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଉଠିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେଥିସକାଶେ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଶକ୍ତି ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରୁଅଛି।
and sayde vnto his servautes: This is Ihon ye baptist. He is risen agayne from deeth and therfore are soche myracles wrought by him.
3 ଯେଣୁ ହେରୋଦ ଆପଣା ଭାଇ ଫିଲିପ୍ପଙ୍କ ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା ହେରୋଦିଆଙ୍କ ସକାଶେ ଯୋହନଙ୍କୁ ଧରି ଓ ବାନ୍ଧି ବନ୍ଦୀଶାଳାରେ ପକାଇଥିଲେ।
For Herod had taken Ihon and bounde him and put him in preson for Herodias sake his brother Philips wyfe.
4 କାରଣ ଯୋହନ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହୁଥିଲେ, ଏହାଙ୍କୁ ରଖିବା ଆପଣଙ୍କର ବିଧିସଙ୍ଗତ ନୁହେଁ।
For Ihon sayde vnto him: Yt is not lawfull for the to have her.
5 ଆଉ, ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କଲେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଲୋକସମୂହକୁ ଭୟ କଲେ, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଭାବବାଦୀ ବୋଲି ମାନୁଥିଲେ।
And when he wold have put him to deeth he feared the people because they counted him as a prophet.
6 କିନ୍ତୁ ହେରୋଦଙ୍କ ଜନ୍ମ ଦିନ ପଡ଼ନ୍ତେ, ହେରୋଦିଆଙ୍କ କନ୍ୟା ସଭା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ନୃତ୍ୟ କରି ହେରୋଦଙ୍କୁ ମୁଗ୍ଧ କରିଦେଲା।
But when Herodes birth daye was come the doughter of Herodias daunsed before them and pleased Herod.
7 ସେଥିରେ ସେ ଶପଥ କରି ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କଲେ ଯେ, ସେ ଯାହା କିଛି ମାଗିବ, ସେ ତାହାକୁ ତାହା ଦେବେ।
Wherfore he promised wt an oth that he wolde geve hir whatsoever she wolde axe.
8 ଆଉ, ସେ ଆପଣା ମାଆର ଶିକ୍ଷାରେ ପଡ଼ି କହିଲା ବାପ୍ତିଜକ ଯୋହନର ମସ୍ତକ ଏଠାରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଥାଳିରେ ମୋତେ ଦିଅନ୍ତୁ।
And she beinge informed of her mother before sayde: geve me here Ihon baptistes heed in a platter.
9 ଏଥିରେ ରାଜା ଦୁଃଖିତ ହେଲେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ନିଜ ଶପଥ ଓ ଆପଣା ସହିତ ଭୋଜିରେ ବସିଥିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କ ସକାଶେ ତାହା ଦେବାକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ।
And ye kynge sorowed. Neverthelesse for his othes sake and for their sakis which sate also at ye table he comaunded yt to be geven hir:
10 ପୁଣି, ଲୋକ ପଠାଇ ବନ୍ଦୀଶାଳାରେ ଯୋହନଙ୍କ ମସ୍ତକ ଛେଦନ କରାଇଲେ,
and sent and beheeded Ihon in the preson
11 ଆଉ ତାହାଙ୍କର ମସ୍ତକ ଗୋଟିଏ ଥାଳିରେ ଅଣାଯାଇ ସେହି ବାଳିକାକୁ ଦିଆଗଲା, ପୁଣି, ସେ ଆପଣା ମାଆ ନିକଟକୁ ତାହା ନେଇଗଲା।
and his heed was brought in a platter and geven to the damsell and she brought it to her mother.
12 ସେଥିରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ଆସି ଶବ ନେଇଯାଇ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ସମାଧି ଦେଲେ ଓ ଯାଇ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇଲେ।
And his disciples came and toke vp his body and buryed it: and went and tolde Iesus.
13 ଯୀଶୁ ତାହା ଶୁଣି ସେଠାରୁ ଅଲଗା ହୋଇ ନୌକାରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଜନଶୂନ୍ୟ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଗଲେ। ଲୋକସମୂହ ଏହା ଶୁଣି ନଗରଗୁଡ଼ିକରୁ ଆସି ଚାଲିଚାଲି ତାହାଙ୍କର ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ଗମନ କଲେ;
When Iesus hearde that he departed thence by shippe in to a desert place out of ye waye. And when the people had hearde therof they folowed him afote out of their cities.
14 ଆଉ, ସେ ନୌକାରୁ ବାହାରି ବହୁସଂଖ୍ୟକ ଲୋକକୁ ଦେଖି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଦୟାରେ ବିଗଳିତ ହେଲେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ରୋଗୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ କଲେ।
And Iesus went forth and sawe moche people and his herte did melte vpon them and he healed of them those that were sicke.
15 ବେଳ ଗଡ଼ିଯିବାରୁ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି କହିଲେ, ଏ ସ୍ଥାନ ତ ଜନଶୂନ୍ୟ, ପୁଣି, ବେଳ ତ ଗଲାଣି; ଏଣୁ ଲୋକସମୂହ ଯେପରି ଗ୍ରାମମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯାଇ ନିଜ ନିଜ ପାଇଁ ଖାଦ୍ୟ କିଣନ୍ତି, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଦାୟ ଦିଅନ୍ତୁ।
When even was come his disciples came to him sayinge. This is a deserte place and the daye is spent: let the people departe yt they maye go into ye tounes and bye them vytayllis.
16 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଯିବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ନୁହେଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୋଜନ କରାଅ।”
But Iesus sayde vnto them. They have no neade to go awaye. Geve ye the to eate.
17 ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଏଠାରେ କେବଳ ପାଞ୍ଚୋଟି ରୁଟି ଓ ଦୁଇଟି ମାଛ ଅଛି।
Then sayde they vnto him: we have here but. v. loves and two fysshes.
18 ସେ କହିଲେ, “ସେଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଏଠାକୁ ମୋʼ ପାଖକୁ ଆଣ।”
And he sayde: bringe the hyther to me.
19 ପୁଣି, ସେ ଲୋକସମୂହକୁ ଘାସ ଉପରେ ବସିବା ପାଇଁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ, ଆଉ ସେ ସେହି ପାଞ୍ଚୋଟି ରୁଟି ଓ ଦୁଇଟି ମାଛ ନେଇ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗ ଆଡ଼େ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱଦୃଷ୍ଟି କରି ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କଲେ ଏବଂ ରୁଟି ଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଲେ ଆଉ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ଲୋକସମୂହକୁ ଦେଲେ।
And he comaunded ye people to syt downe on ye grasse: and toke ye. v. loves and the. ii. fysshes and loked vp to heven and blessed and brake and gave the loves to his disciples and the disciples gave them to ye people.
20 ପୁଣି, ସମସ୍ତେ ଭୋଜନ କରି ତୃପ୍ତ ହେଲେ ଓ ଭଙ୍ଗା ରୁଟିରୁ ଯାହା ବଳିଲା ତାହା ସେମାନେ ଉଠାଇ ବାର ଟୋକେଇ ଭର୍ତ୍ତି କଲେ।
And they dyd all eate and were suffised. And they gadered vp of ye gobbetes that remayned vii. basketes full.
21 ଭୋଜନ କରିବା ଲୋକେ, ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କ ଛଡ଼ା, ପ୍ରାୟ ପାଞ୍ଚ ହଜାର ପୁରୁଷ ଥିଲେ।
And they yt ate werein nobre about. v. M. men besyde wemen and chyldren.
22 ସେହିକ୍ଷଣି ଯୀଶୁ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ନୌକାରେ ଚଢ଼ି ତାହାଙ୍କ ଆଗରେ ଅପର ପାରିକୁ ଯିବା ପାଇଁ ବଳାଇଲେ, ପୁଣି, ସେ ଇତିମଧ୍ୟରେ ଲୋକସମୂହକୁ ବିଦାୟ ଦେଲେ।
And strayght waye Iesus made his disciples enter into a shippe and to goo over before him whill he sent ye people awaye.
23 ଲୋକସମୂହକୁ ବିଦାୟ ଦେଲା ପରେ ସେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ବାହାରିଯାଇ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରକୁ ଗଲେ, ଆଉ ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ହେଲା ପରେ ସେ ସେଠାରେ ଏକାକୀ ଥିଲେ।
And assone as he had sent the people awaye he went vp into a moutayne alone to praye. And when nyght was come he was there himsilf alone.
24 କିନ୍ତୁ ନୌକା ସେତେବେଳେ କୂଳରୁ ଅନେକ ଦୂରରେ ଥିଲା ଏବଂ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳ ବାୟୁ ହେତୁ ତାହା ଟଳମଳ ହେଉଥିଲା।
And the shippe was now in the middes of the see and was toost with waves for it was a cotrary wynde.
25 କିନ୍ତୁ ରାତ୍ରିର ଚତୁର୍ଥ ପ୍ରହରରେ ଯୀଶୁ ସମୁଦ୍ର ଉପରେ ଚାଲି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଆସିଲେ,
In the fourthe watche of ye night Iesus came vnto them walkynge on the see.
26 ପୁଣି, ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ସମୁଦ୍ର ଉପରେ ଚାଲିବାର ଦେଖି ଉଦ୍ବିଗ୍ନ ହୋଇ କହିଲେ, ଏ ତ ଭୂତ; ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ ଭୟରେ ଚିତ୍କାର କଲେ।
And when his disciples sawe him walkynge on the see they were troubled sayinge: it is some spirite and cryed out for feare.
27 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ ସେହିକ୍ଷଣି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା କରି କହିଲେ “ସାହସ ଧର ଏ ତ ମୁଁ, ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ।”
And streyght waye Iesus spake vnto them sayinge: be of god cheare it is I be not afrayed.
28 ସେଥିରେ ପିତର ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ଯେବେ ଆପଣ, ତେବେ ଜଳ ଉପରେ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଯିବା ପାଇଁ ମୋତେ ଆଜ୍ଞା କରନ୍ତୁ।
Peter answered him and sayde: master if thou be he bid me come vnto the on the water.
29 ସେ କହିଲେ, “ଆସ।” ସେଥିରେ ପିତର ନୌକାରୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଜଳ ଉପରେ ଚାଲି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଗଲେ।
And he sayde come. And when Peter was come doune out of ye shippe he walked on ye water to go to Iesus.
30 ମାତ୍ର ସେ ପବନ ଦେଖି ଭୟ କଲେ, ପୁଣି, ବୁଡ଼ି ଯାଉ ଯାଉ ଚିତ୍କାର କରି କହିଲେ, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ମୋତେ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତୁ।
But when he sawe a myghty wynde he was afrayed. And as he beganne to synke he cryed sayinge: master save me.
31 ଯୀଶୁ ସେହିକ୍ଷଣି ହାତ ବଢ଼ାଇ ତାହାକୁ ଧରି କହିଲେ, “ହେ ଅଳ୍ପ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀ କାହିଁକି ସନ୍ଦେହ କଲ?”
And immediatly Iesus stretched forth his hode and caught him and sayde to him: O thou of lytell faith wherfore diddest thou dout?
32 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ନୌକାରେ ଚଢ଼ନ୍ତେ, ପବନ ବନ୍ଦ ହେଲା।
And assone as they were come in to ye shippe ye wynde ceassed.
33 ସେଥିରେ ନୌକାରେ ଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରି କହିଲେ, ଆପଣ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର।
Then they that were in the shippe came and worshipped him sayinge: of a truth thou arte ye sonne of God.
34 ସେମାନେ ସମୁଦ୍ର ପାର ହୋଇ ଗିନ୍ନେସରତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଲେ।
And when they were come over they went in to ye londe of Genazareth.
35 ପୁଣି, ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନର ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଚିହ୍ନି ସେଥିର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳକୁ ସମ୍ବାଦ ପଠାଇଲେ ଏବଂ ଲୋକେ ସମସ୍ତ ରୋଗୀଙ୍କୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆଣିଲେ;
And when ye men of yt place had knowledge of him they sent out in to all yt countre rounde about and brought vnto him all that were sicke
36 ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ ଯେପରି କେବଳ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବସ୍ତ୍ରର ଝୁମ୍ପା ଛୁଅନ୍ତି, ଏହା ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବିନତି କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, ପୁଣି, ଯେତେ ଲୋକ ଛୁଇଁଲେ ସମସ୍ତେ ସୁସ୍ଥ ହେଲେ।
and besought him that they myght touche the hemme of his vesture only. And as many as touched it were made safe.
