ମାର୍କ 5
1 ପରେ ସେମାନେ ସମୁଦ୍ରର ଅପର ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱସ୍ଥ ଗରାଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ।
And he came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes.
2 ଯୀଶୁ ନୌକାରୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇବା ମାତ୍ରେ ଜଣେ ଅଶୁଚି ଆତ୍ମାବିଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକ ସମାଧି-ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ବାହାରି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟିଲା।
And as he went out of the ship, there met him from the place of sepulchres a man in whom was an unclean spirit.
3 ସେ ସମାଧି-ସ୍ଥାନରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିଲା, ପୁଣି, କେହି ତାହାକୁ ଜଞ୍ଜିରରେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଆଉ ବାନ୍ଧି ପାରୁ ନ ଥିଲେ,
And he dwelt in the place of sepulchres; and no one could confine him with chains:
4 କାରଣ ସେ ଅନେକ ଥର ବେଡ଼ି ଓ ଜଞ୍ଜିରରେ ବନ୍ଧା ହୋଇଥିଲା, କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ଜଞ୍ଜିର ଛିଣ୍ଡାଇଦେଇ ବେଡ଼ିସବୁ ଖଣ୍ଡ ଖଣ୍ଡ କରି ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇଥିଲା ଓ ତାହାକୁ ବଶରେ ରଖିବାକୁ କାହାର ବଳ ନ ଥିଲା।
because, as often as he had been confined with fetters and chains, he had broken the chains and burst the fetters: and no one could subdue him.
5 ସେ ଦିନରାତି ସବୁବେଳେ ସମାଧି-ସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ପର୍ବତରେ ରହି ଚିତ୍କାର କରୁଥିଲା, ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରସ୍ତରରେ ଆପଣାକୁ କ୍ଷତବିକ୍ଷତ କରୁଥିଲା।
And continually, by night and by day, he was in the place of sepulchres, and cried and wounded himself with stones.
6 ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଦୂରରୁ ଦେଖି ଦୌଡ଼ିଆସି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କଲା,
And when he saw Jesus at a distance, he ran and worshipped him;
7 ଆଉ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ୱରରେ ଚିତ୍କାର କରି କହିଲା, ହେ ପରାତ୍ପର ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଯୀଶୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ମୋହର କଅଣ ଅଛି? ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ଶପଥ ଦେଉଅଛି, ମୋତେ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ।
and cried with a loud voice, and said: What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the High God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
8 କାରଣ ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାକୁ କହିବାକୁ ଯାଉଥିଲେ, “ରେ ଅଶୁଚି ଆତ୍ମା, ଏହି ଲୋକଠାରୁ ବାହାରିଯା।”
For he had said to him: Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
9 ଆଉ ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାକୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, “ତୋର ନାଁ କଅଣ?” ସେ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲା, ମୋହର ନାଁ ବାହିନୀ, ଯେଣୁ ଆମେ ଅନେକ।
And he demanded of him: What is thy name? And he replied to him: Our name is Legion; for we are many.
10 ପୁଣି, ଯୀଶୁ ଯେପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେହି ଅଞ୍ଚଳରୁ ବାହାରକୁ ପଠାଇ ନ ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବହୁତ ବିନତି କଲା।
And he besought him much, that he would not send him out of the country.
11 ସେଠାରେ ପର୍ବତ କଡ଼ରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଘୁଷୁରିପଲ ଚରୁଥିଲା।
And there was there by the mountain, a great herd of swine grazing.
12 ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବିନତି କରି କହିଲେ, ସେହି ଘୁଷୁରିମାନଙ୍କ ଭିତରେ ପଶିବା ପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟକୁ ପଠାଅ।
And the demons besought him, and said: Send us upon those swine, that we may enter them.
13 ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁମତି ଦିଅନ୍ତେ ଅଶୁଚି ଆତ୍ମାଗୁଡ଼ାକ ବାହାରି ଘୁଷୁରିମାନଙ୍କ ଭିତରେ ପଶିଲେ; ସେଥିରେ ସେହି ପଲ ଅତି ବେଗରେ ଦୌଡ଼ିଯାଇ ତୀଖସ୍ଥାନରୁ ସମୁଦ୍ରରେ ପଡ଼ି ବୁଡ଼ି ମଲେ। ଘୁଷୁରିମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ପ୍ରାୟ ଦୁଇ ହଜାର ଥିଲା।
And he permitted them. And those unclean spirits went out, and entered the swine: and the herd, of about two thousand, ran to a precipice, and fell into the sea, and were strangled in the waters.
14 ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚରାଉଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ପଳାଇଯାଇ ନଗର ଓ ପଲ୍ଲୀଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ତାହା ଜଣାଇଲେ; ସେଥିରେ ଲୋକେ କଅଣ ଘଟିଅଛି ବୋଲି ଦେଖିବାକୁ ଆସିଲେ।
And they who tended them, fled and told it in the city and in the villages: and they came out to see what had occurred.
15 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ସେହି ଭୂତଗ୍ରସ୍ତ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଯାହାକୁ ପୂର୍ବରେ ବାହିନୀ ଭୂତ ଲାଗିଥିଲା, ତାହାକୁ ଲୁଗା ପିନ୍ଧି ଭଲ ମନରେ ବସିଥିବା ଦେଖି ଭୀତ ହେଲେ।
And: they came to Jesus, and saw him in whom the demons had been, him in whom had been the legion, clothed, and sober, and sitting; and they were afraid.
16 ଆଉ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଦେଖିଥିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ସେହି ଭୂତଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ପ୍ରତି କିପରି କଅଣ ଘଟିଥିଲା, ଓ ଘୁଷୁରିମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କଲେ।
And those who had seen it told them how it occurred to him who had the demons, and also concerning the swine.
17 ସେଥିରେ ସେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସୀମାରୁ ବାହାରିଯିବାକୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବିନତି କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ।
And they began to request him, that he would go from their border.
18 ପରେ ସେ ନୌକାରେ ଚଢ଼ିବା ସମୟରେ, ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକକୁ ପୂର୍ବରେ ଭୂତ ଲାଗିଥିଲା, ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ରହିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଥରକୁଥର ବିନତି କଲା।
And as he ascended the ship, the late demoniac requested that he might continue with him.
19 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଅନୁମତି ନ ଦେଇ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗୃହକୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆତ୍ମୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାଅ, ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯେ ଯେ କର୍ମ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଯେଉଁ ଦୟା ଦେଖାଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେହିସବୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଅ।”
And he suffered him not, but said to him: Go home to thy people, and tell them what the Lord hath done for thee, and hath compassionated thee.
20 ତହିଁରେ ସେ ଚାଲିଯାଇ, ଯୀଶୁ ତାହା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ କର୍ମ କରିଥିଲେ, ସେହିସବୁ ଦେକାପଲିରେ ଘୋଷଣା କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ; ସେଥିରେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଚମତ୍କୃତ ହେଲେ।
And he went, and began to publish in Decapolis, what Jesus had done for him. And they were all amazed.
21 ଯୀଶୁ ନୌକାରେ ପାର ହୋଇ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଅପର ପାରିକୁ ବାହୁଡ଼ିଆସନ୍ତେ ବହୁସଂଖ୍ୟକ ଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଏକତ୍ର ହେଲେ; ଆଉ ସେ ସମୁଦ୍ରକୂଳରେ ରହିଲେ।
And when Jesus had passed by ship to the other side, great multitudes again assembled about him as he was on the shore of the sea.
22 ସେତେବେଳେ ସମାଜଗୃହ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଯାଈରସ ନାମକ ଜଣେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଆସି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି ତାହାଙ୍କ ଚରଣ ତଳେ ପଡ଼ିଲେ,
And one of the rulers of the synagogue, whose name was Jairus, came, and, on seeing him, fell at his feet,
23 ପୁଣି, ବହୁତ ବିନତି କରି କହିଲେ, ମୋହର କନ୍ୟାଟି ମୃତପ୍ରାୟ; ସେ ଯେପରି ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇ ବଞ୍ଚିବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଆପଣ ଆସି ତାହା ଉପରେ ହସ୍ତ ଥୋଇବା ହେଉନ୍ତୁ।
and besought him much, and said to him: My daughter is very sick; but come and lay thy hand on her, and she will be cured, and will live.
24 ଏଥିରେ ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ଗଲେ, ପୁଣି, ବହୁସଂଖ୍ୟକ ଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଯିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ମାଡ଼ିପଡ଼ୁଥିଲେ।
And Jesus went with him; and a great company attended him, and pressed upon him.
25 ସେତେବେଳେ ବାର ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପ୍ରଦର ରୋଗଗ୍ରସ୍ତା ଜଣେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକ,
And a woman who had had a defluxion of blood twelve years,
26 ଯେ କି ଅନେକ ବୈଦ୍ୟଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ବହୁ କ୍ଲେଶ ଭୋଗ କରି ସର୍ବସ୍ୱ ବ୍ୟୟ କରିଥିଲେ ହେଁ କିଛିମାତ୍ର ଉପକାର ନ ପାଇ ବରଂ ଅଧିକ ପୀଡ଼ିତ ହୋଇ ପଡ଼ିଥିଲା,
and who had suffered much from many physicians, and had expended all she possessed, and was not profited, but was even the more afflicted;
27 ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ଶୁଣି ଲୋକଗହଳି ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପଛଆଡ଼ୁ ଆସି ତାହାଙ୍କ ଲୁଗା ଛୁଇଁଲା;
when she heard of Jesus, came behind him in the press of the crowd, and touched his garment
28 କାରଣ ସେ କହୁଥିଲା, କେବଳ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଲୁଗା ଛୁଇଁଲେ ମୁଁ ସୁସ୍ଥ ହେବି।
For she said: If I but touch his garment, I shall live.
29 ସେହିକ୍ଷଣି ତାହାର ରକ୍ତସ୍ରାବ ବନ୍ଦ ହେଲା, ପୁଣି, ସେ ଯେ ରୋଗରୁ ଆରୋଗ୍ୟ ହୋଇଅଛି, ଏହା ସେ ନିଜ ଶରୀରରେ ଅନୁଭବ କଲା।
And immediately the fountain of her blood dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her plague.
30 ସେହିକ୍ଷଣି ଯୀଶୁ ଆପଣାଠାରୁ ଶକ୍ତି ନିର୍ଗତ ହେବା ଅନ୍ତରରେ ଜ୍ଞାତ ହୋଇ ଲୋକଗହଳି ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବୁଲିପଡ଼ି କହିଲେ, “କିଏ ମୋହର ଲୁଗା ଛୁଇଁଲା?”
And Jesus at once knew in himself, that virtue had issued from him: and he turned to the throng, and said: Who touched my clothes?
31 ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଆପଣ ଦେଖୁଅଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ଲୋକସମୂହ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ମାଡ଼ିପଡ଼ୁଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ଆପଣ କହୁଅଛନ୍ତି, “କିଏ ମୋତେ ଛୁଇଁଲା?”
And his disciples said to him: Thou seest the throngs that press upon thee; and sayest thou, Who touched me?
32 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେ ଏହା କରିଥିଲା, ତାହାକୁ ଦେଖିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେ ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିପାତ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ।
And he looked around, to see who had done this.
33 ସେଥିରେ ସେହି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକଟି ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତି ଯାହା ଘଟିଅଛି, ତାହା ଜାଣି ଭୟରେ ଥରି ଥରି ଆସି ତାହାଙ୍କ ଚରଣ ତଳେ ପଡ଼ି ସମସ୍ତ ସତ୍ୟ କଥା ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲା।
And the woman, fearing and trembling, for she knew what had taken place in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
34 ତହିଁରେ ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, “ବତ୍ସେ, ତୋହର ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ତୋତେ ସୁସ୍ଥ କରିଅଛି; ଶାନ୍ତିରେ ଚାଲିଯା ଓ ତୋହର ରୋଗରୁ ଆରୋଗ୍ୟ ହୋଇରହ।”
And he said to her: My daughter, thy faith hath made thee live: go in peace; and be thou healed of thy plague.
35 ସେ ଏହି କଥା କହୁଥିବା ସମୟରେ ସମାଜଗୃହର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷଙ୍କ ଘରୁ ଲୋକେ ଆସି କହିଲେ, ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଝିଅଟି ମରିଗଲାଣି, ଗୁରୁଙ୍କୁ କାହିଁକି ଆଉ କଷ୍ଟ ଦେଉଅଛନ୍ତି?
And while he was speaking, some domestics of the ruler of the synagogue came, and said: Thy daughter is dead: why therefore troublest thou the teacher?
36 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ ସେ କଥା ଶୁଣି ନ ଶୁଣିଲା ପରି ସମାଜଗୃହର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ, କେବଳ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କର।”
But Jesus heard the word they spoke, and said to the ruler of the synagogue: Fear not; only believe.
37 ପୁଣି, ଯୀଶୁ ପିତର, ଯାକୁବ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଭାଇ ଯୋହନଙ୍କ ବିନା ଆଉ କାହାକୁ ଆପଣା ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ଯିବାକୁ ଦେଲେ ନାହିଁ।
And he suffered no one to go with him, except Simon Cephas, and James, and John the brother of James.
38 ସେମାନେ ସମାଜଗୃହର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷଙ୍କ ଘରକୁ ଆସନ୍ତେ, ସେ କୋଳାହଳ ହେଉଥିବା ଏବଂ ଲୋକେ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରୋଦନ ଓ ବିଳାପ କରୁଥିବା ଦେଖିଲେ,
And they came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue; and he saw, that they were in a tumult, and weeping, and howling.
39 ପୁଣି, ଭିତରକୁ ଯାଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “କାହିଁକି କୋଳାହଳ ଓ ରୋଦନ କରୁଅଛ? ପିଲାଟି ମରି ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଶୋଇପଡ଼ିଅଛି।” ସେଥିରେ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପରିହାସ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ।
And he entered in and said to them: Why are ye in a tumult, and weep? The maid is not dead, but is asleep.
40 କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ବାହାର କରି ପିଲାର ବାପା ମାଆ ଓ ଆପଣା ସଙ୍ଗୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ଘେନି, ପିଲାଟି ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଥିଲା, ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲେ,
And they laughed at him. But Jesus put them all out. And he took the maids father, and her mother, and those that accompanied him, and entered into where the maid lay.
41 ଆଉ ପିଲାର ହାତ ଧରି ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, “ଟଲିଥାକୁମ୍,” ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ “ଆଗୋ ବାଳିକା, ମୁଁ ତୋତେ କହୁଅଛି ଉଠ୍।”
And he took the maid's hand, and said to her: Maiden, arise.
42 ସେହିକ୍ଷଣି ବାଳିକାଟି ଉଠି ବୁଲାବୁଲି କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା; କାରଣ ତାହାର ବୟସ ବାର ବର୍ଷ ଥିଲା। ଏଥିରେ ସେମାନେ ଅତିଶୟ ଆଚମ୍ଭିତ ହୋଇଗଲେ।
And immediately the maid arose, and walked; for she was twelve years old. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.
43 ପୁଣି, କେହି ଯେପରି ଏହି ବିଷୟ ନ ଜାଣେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅତି ଦୃଢ଼ରୂପେ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ, ଆଉ ବାଳିକାକୁ କିଛି ଖାଇବାକୁ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ କହିଲେ।
And he enjoined it upon them much, that no one should know of it. And he directed, that they should give her to eat.
