ମାର୍କ 15
1 ପ୍ରଭାତ ହେବାମାତ୍ରେ ସମସ୍ତେ ମହାସଭା, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ଓ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯାଜକମାନେ ସଭା କରି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ବାନ୍ଧି ଘେନିଯାଇ ପୀଲାତଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲେ।
As soon as it was down, after the high priests had conferred with the elders and the whole Sanhedrin, they bound Jesus, and took him away, and handed him over to Pilate.
2 ପୀଲାତ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କର ରାଜା? ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, “ଆପଣ କହୁଅଛନ୍ତି।”
Pilate questioned him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" In reply Jesus said, "It is as you say."
3 ଆଉ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯାଜକମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଅନେକ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ।
When the chief priests continued making many accusations against him, Pilate repeatedly questioned him.
4 ସେଥିରେ ପୀଲାତ ପୁନର୍ବାର ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କିଛି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଉ ନାହଁ? ଦେଖ, ଏମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ କେତେ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି।
"Do you make no answer?" he said,
5 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଆଉ କୌଣସି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ ନାହିଁ, ସେଥିରେ ପୀଲାତ ଚମତ୍କୃତ ହେଲେ।
"See, how many accusations they are making." But Jesus no longer made any answer, at which Pilate wondered.
6 ମାତ୍ର ପର୍ବ ସମୟରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଯେଉଁ ବନ୍ଦୀକୁ ମାଗୁଥିଲେ, ତାହାକୁ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁକ୍ତ କରୁଥିଲେ।
Now at the time of the feast it was customary to release to them a prisoner, whatever one they asked for.
7 ଯେଉଁ ବିପ୍ଳବୀମାନେ ବିପ୍ଳବ ସମୟରେ ନରହତ୍ୟା କରିଥିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବାରବ୍ବା ନାମକ ଜଣେ ଲୋକ ବନ୍ଦୀ ଥିଲା।
A man named Barabbas was there in prison, with some rioters who had committed murder during an uprising.
8 ତେଣୁ ଲୋକସମୂହ ଉପରକୁ ଯାଇ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ରୀତି ଅନୁସାରେ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ।
So when the crowd went up and began asking Pilate to follow his usual custom,
9 ସେଥିରେ ପୀଲାତ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କଅଣ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁଅଛ? ଆମ୍ଭେ କଅଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିଦେବା?
he asked them, "Do you wish me to release the King of the Jews?"
10 କାରଣ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯାଜକମାନେ ଯେ ଈର୍ଷାରେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିଥିଲେ, ତାହା ସେ ବୁଝିଲେ।
For he recognized that it was through spite that the high priests had handed him over.
11 ମାତ୍ର ସେ ଯେପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ବରଂ ବାରବ୍ବାକୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରନ୍ତି, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯାଜକମାନେ ଲୋକସମୂହକୁ ମତାଇଲେ।
But the chief priests incited the crowds to have Barabbas released to them, instead.
12 କିନ୍ତୁ ପୀଲାତ ପୁନର୍ବାର ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ତେବେ ଯାହାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କର ରାଜା ବୋଲି କହୁଅଛ, ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ଆମ୍ଭେ କଅଣ କରିବା?
So Pilate spoke to them once more, "What them shall I do to him you call ‘King of the Jews’?"
13 ଲୋକସମୂହ ପୁଣି, ଚିତ୍କାର କଲେ, ତାହାକୁ କ୍ରୁଶରେ ଚଢ଼ାଅ।
Then they shouted again, "Crucify him!"
14 ସେଥିରେ ପୀଲାତ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, କାହିଁକି, ସେ କି ଦୋଷ କରିଅଛି? କିନ୍ତୁ ସେମାନେ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଚିତ୍କାର କଲେ, ତାହାକୁ କ୍ରୁଶରେ ଚଢ଼ାଅ।
"Why, what wrong has he done?" Pilate kept saying. But they shouted furiously, "Crucify him!"
15 ଏଣୁ ପୀଲାତ ଲୋକସମୂହକୁ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ବାରବ୍ବାକୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କଲେ, ପୁଣି, ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ କୋରଡ଼ା ପ୍ରହାର କରାଇ କ୍ରୁଶରେ ଚଢ଼ାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲେ।
So Pilate, who wished to make himself strong with the crowd, released Barabbas to them, and gave Jesus over for crucifixion, after he had scourged him.
16 ସେଥିରେ ସୈନ୍ୟମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାଙ୍ଗଣ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ପ୍ରାସାଦ ଭିତରକୁ ଘେନିଯାଇ ସମସ୍ତ ସୈନ୍ୟଦଳକୁ ଡାକି ଏକତ୍ର କଲେ।
The soldiers then led him away into the courtyard (Praetorium), and called together the whole battalion.
17 ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କୃଷ୍ଣଲୋହିତ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣର ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପିନ୍ଧାଇଲେ ଓ କଣ୍ଟାର ମୁକୁଟ ବନାଇ ତାହାଙ୍କ ମସ୍ତକରେ ଦେଲେ;
They clothed Jesus in purple, and plaited a crown of thorns, and placed it on his head.
18 ଆଉ, ହେ ଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ରାଜା, ନମସ୍କାର, ଏହା କହି ତାହାଙ୍କର ବନ୍ଦନା କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ।
Then they began to salute him. "Hail, King of the Jews," they said.
19 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ଗୋଟିଏ ନଳ ଘେନି ତାହାଙ୍କ ମୁଣ୍ଡରେ ଆଘାତ କଲେ, ଆଉ ଆଣ୍ଠୁ ମାଡ଼ି ପ୍ରଣାମ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ।
They kept striking him on the head with a rod, and spitting upon him; and on bended knee they did him homage.
20 ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପରିହାସ କଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେହି କୃଷ୍ଣଲୋହିତ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣର ବସ୍ତ୍ର କାଢ଼ିନେଇ ତାହାଙ୍କର ନିଜ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପିନ୍ଧାଇଲେ। ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କ୍ରୁଶରେ ଚଢ଼ାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ବାହାରକୁ ଘେନିଗଲେ।
And after their sport with him, they stripped off the purple robe, and put on his own clothes, and led him out to crucify him.
21 ସେତେବେଳେ ଆଲେକ୍ଜାଣ୍ଡର ଓ ରୂଫଙ୍କ ପିତା ଶିମୋନ ନାମକ ଜଣେ କୂରୀଣୀୟ ଲୋକ ପଲ୍ଲୀଗ୍ରାମରୁ ଆସି ସେହି ବାଟ ଦେଇ ଯାଉଥିଲେ; ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ତାହାଙ୍କର କ୍ରୁଶ ବୋହିବା ପାଇଁ ବାଧ୍ୟ କଲେ।
Simon a Cyrenian, a passer-by, who was coming from the country (the father of Alexander and Rufus), they commandeered to carry the cross of Jesus.
22 ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଗଲ୍ଗଥା, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ କପାଳସ୍ଥଳ ନାମକ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଆଣିଲେ।
So they led him to the place called Golgotha - a name which means "the place of a skull."
23 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଗନ୍ଧରସ ମିଶ୍ରିତ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ପିଇବାକୁ ଦେଲେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ତାହା ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ ନାହିଁ।
There they attempted to give him wine mingled with myrrh; but he refused it.
24 ପରେ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କ୍ରୁଶରେ ଚଢ଼ାଇଲେ, ପୁଣି, କିଏ କଅଣ ପାଇବ, ତାହା ଗୁଲିବାଣ୍ଟ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସ୍ଥିର କରି ତାହାଙ୍କ ବସ୍ତ୍ରସବୁ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଭାଗ କରି ନେଲେ।
Then they crucified him, and divided his garments among them, casting lots upon them to see what each should take.
25 ଦିନ ନଅ ଘଣ୍ଟା ସମୟରେ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କ୍ରୁଶରେ ଚଢ଼ାଇଲେ।
It was nine o’clock in the morning when they crucified him.
26 ଆଉ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଲିପିରେ ଏହା ଲେଖା ଥିଲା, ଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କର ରାଜା।
Over his head there was written the words of the charge against him. "The King of the Jews"
27 ପୁଣି, ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱରେ ଜଣେ ଓ ବାମ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱରେ ଜଣେ, ଏହିପରି ଦୁଇ ଜଣ ଡକାଇତମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସହିତ କ୍ରୁଶରେ ଚଢ଼ାଇଦେଲେ।
Now with him they crucified two robbers, one on his right hand and one on his left.
28 [ସେଥିରେ ଧର୍ମଶାସ୍ତ୍ରର ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ସଫଳ ହେଲା, ସେ ଅଧାର୍ମିକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଗଣିତ ହେଲେ।]
29 ସେହି ବାଟ ଦେଇ ଯାଉଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମୁଣ୍ଡ ହଲାଇ ତାହାଙ୍କର ନିନ୍ଦା କରି କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, ବାଃ! ରେ ମନ୍ଦିର-ଭଗ୍ନକାରୀ ଓ ତିନି ଦିନରେ ତାହା ନିର୍ମାଣକାରୀ,
And the passers-by kept jeering at him, wagging their heads and saying. "Ah! you who were to ‘destroy the sanctuary and rebuild it in three days,’ save yourself!
30 କ୍ରୁଶରୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆପଣାକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କର।
Come down from the cross!
31 ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯାଜକମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ପରସ୍ପର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପରିହାସ କରି କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, ସେ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କଲା, ନିଜକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିପାରୁ ନାହିଁ।
In the same way the high priests also, as well as the Scribes, kept on mocking him to themselves. "He saved others," they said, "but himself he cannot save.
32 ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଏହିକ୍ଷଣି କ୍ରୁଶରୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆସନ୍ତୁ, ଯେପରି ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହା ଦେଖି ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିବା। ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସହିତ କ୍ରୁଶରେ ଚଢ଼ାଯାଇଥିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ନିନ୍ଦା କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ।
The Christ! The King of Israel! Let him now come down from the cross, that we may see and believe." They also who had been crucified with Jesus kept reviling him.
33 ଦିନ ବାର ଘଣ୍ଟା ସମୟରେ ଦେଶଯାକ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ଘୋଟିଯାଇ ଦିନ ତିନି ଘଣ୍ଟା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରହିଲା।
At noon a darkness came over the whole country, lasting until three in the afternoon.
34 ତିନି ଘଣ୍ଟା ସମୟରେ ଯୀଶୁ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ୱରରେ ଡାକି କହିଲେ, “ଏଲୀ, ଏଲୀ, ଲାମା ଶବକ୍ଥାନୀ?” ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ “ହେ ମୋହର ଈଶ୍ବର, ହେ ମୋହର ଈଶ୍ବର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ମୋତେ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କଲ?”
At three o’clock Jesus cried in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" which means, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"
35 ଏହା ଶୁଣି ପାଖରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କେହି କେହି କହିଲେ, ଦେଖ, ସେ ଏଲୀୟଙ୍କୁ ଡାକୁଅଛି।
When they heard this, some of the bystanders said, "Listen, he is calling for Elijah."
36 ପୁଣି, ଜଣେ ଦୌଡ଼ିଯାଇ ଗୋଟିଏ ଏଜୋବ ଅମ୍ଳରସରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରି ତାହା ଖଣ୍ଡିଏ ନଳରେ ଲଗାଇ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପାନ କରିବାକୁ ଦେଇ କହିଲା, ରୁହ, ଏଲୀୟ ଏହାକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇବାକୁ ଆସୁଅଛନ୍ତି କି ନାହିଁ ଦେଖିବା।
Then a man ran and filled a sponge full of sour wine, and put it on a stick, and offered it to him to drink, saying, "Wait, let us see whether Elijah will come to take him down!"
37 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ୱର କରି ପ୍ରାଣତ୍ୟାଗ କଲେ।
But Jesus uttered a loud cry and expired.
38 ପୁଣି, ମନ୍ଦିରର ବିଚ୍ଛେଦବସ୍ତ୍ର ଉପରୁ ତଳ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଚିରି ଦୁଇ ଖଣ୍ଡ ହେଲା।
And the curtain of the Sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom.
39 ତାହାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇଥିବା ଶତ-ସେନାପତି ତାହାଙ୍କର ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର ପ୍ରାଣତ୍ୟାଗ ଦେଖି କହିଲେ, ସତ୍ୟ, ଏହି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଥିଲେ।
Then the army captain, who was standing facing Jesus when he thus died, said, "in truth this man was a Son of God."
40 କେତେକ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦୂରରୁ ଦେଖୁଥିଲେ; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମଗ୍ଦଲୀନୀ ମରୀୟମ, ସାନ ଯାକୁବ ଓ ଯୋସିଙ୍କ ମାତା ମରୀୟମ, ପୁଣି, ଶଲୋମୀ ଥିଲେ;
There were some women also watching from a distance. Among them were both Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of Jamesthe younger and of Joses, and Salome,
41 ସେ ଗାଲିଲୀରେ ଥିବା ସମୟରେ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ଗମନ କରି ତାହାଙ୍କର ସେବା କରୁଥିଲେ; ତାହାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ସହରକୁ ଆସିଥିବା ଆହୁରି ଅନେକ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେଖୁଥିଲେ।
women who used to follow him when he was in Galilee, and minister to him; and many other women who had come up to Jerusalem with him.
42 ବେଳ ଗଡ଼ିଆସନ୍ତେ ସେହି ଦିନ ଆୟୋଜନ ଦିନ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ବିଶ୍ରାମବାରର ପୂର୍ବ ଦିନ ଥିବାରୁ,
Toward sunset, as it was the preparation (that is the day preceding the Sabbath),
43 ହାରାମାଥୀୟାର ଯୋଷେଫ ନାମକ ମହାସଭାର ଜଣେ ସମ୍ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ସଭ୍ୟ, ଯେ ନିଜେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟର ଅପେକ୍ଷାରେ ଥିଲେ, ସେ ସାହସ ପୂର୍ବକ ପୀଲାତଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାଇ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଶରୀର ମାଗିଲେ।
there came Joseph of Arimathea, a Councilor, honorable in rank, who was himself also looking for the kingdom of God. He boldly went in to Pilate to ask for the body of Jesus.
44 କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ଯେ ମରିଗଲେଣି, ଏହା ଶୁଣି ପୀଲାତ ଚମତ୍କୃତ ହେଲେ, ଆଉ ଶତ-ସେନାପତିଙ୍କୁ ନିକଟକୁ ଡକାଇ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ସେ କଅଣ ବହୁତ ବେଳ ହେଲା ମଲେଣି?
But Pilate wondered whether he were already dead. So he summoned the army captain, and inquired if he had been any time dead;
45 ଶତ-ସେନାପତିଙ୍କଠାରୁ ତାହା ଜ୍ଞାତ ହୋଇ ସେ ଶବଟି ଯୋଷେଫଙ୍କୁ ଦେଲେ।
and when he learned the fact from the army captain he gave the body to Joseph.
46 ସେ ଖଣ୍ଡିଏ ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମ ବସ୍ତ୍ର କିଣି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆଣି ସେଥିରେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଗୁଡ଼ାଇଲେ ଓ ପାହାଡ଼ରେ ଖୋଳା ହୋଇଥିବା ଗୋଟିଏ ସମାଧିରେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଥୋଇଦେଇ ସମାଧି ଦ୍ୱାରରେ ଖଣ୍ଡିଏ ପଥର ଗଡ଼ାଇଦେଲେ।
So Joseph bought him a sheet, and took Jesus down, wound him in the sheet, and laid him in a tomb which had been hewn out of a rock, and then rolled a stone against the opening of the tomb;
47 ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ରଖାଗଲା, ତାହା ମଗ୍ଦଲୀନୀ ମରୀୟମ ଓ ଯୋସିଙ୍କ ମାତା ମରୀୟମ ଦେଖିଲେ।
and Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses were watching to see where he was laid.
