ଲୂକ 8
1 ଏଥିର ଅଳ୍ପ ସମୟ ପରେ ଯୀଶୁ ନଗରେ ନଗରେ ଓ ଗ୍ରାମେ ଗ୍ରାମେ ଘୋଷଣା କରି ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟର ସୁସମାଚାର ପ୍ରଚାର କରି ଯାତ୍ରା କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, ଆଉ ବାର ଜଣ ଶିଷ୍ୟ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ଥିଲେ,
AND it was after these things that Jeshu itinerated among the cities and villages, and preached and announced the kingdom of Aloha, and his twelve with him,
2 ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଆତ୍ମା ଓ ରୋଗରୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ କରାଯାଇଥିଲେ, ଏପରି କେତେକ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ମଗ୍ଦଲୀନୀ ନାମକ ମରୀୟମ, ଯାହାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ସାତ ଭୂତ ବାହାରିଯାଇଥିଲେ,
and those women who had been healed from infirmities and from evil spirits, Mariam who was called Magdalitha, she from whom he had cast out seven devils,
3 ହେରୋଦଙ୍କ ପରିଚାଳକ ଖୂଜା ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା ଯୋହାନା, ଶୋଶନ୍ନା, ପୁଣି, ଆହୁରି ଅନେକ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ଥାଇ ନିଜ ନିଜ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଦେଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସେବା କରୁଥିଲେ।
and Juchana the wife of Kusa, chief of the household of Herodes, and Shushan, and many others, who ministered unto him from their possessions.
4 ବହୁସଂଖ୍ୟକ ଲୋକ ଏକତ୍ର ହୁଅନ୍ତେ ଓ ନଗରୁ ନଗରୁ ଲୋକେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସନ୍ତେ ସେ ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତ ଦେଇ କହିଲେ,
And when a great multitude had assembled, and from all the cities had come to him, he discoursed in parables.
5 “ଜଣେ ବୁଣାଳୀ ଆପଣା ବିହନ ବୁଣିବାକୁ ବାହାରିଲା। ସେ ବୁଣୁ ବୁଣୁ କେତେକ ବିହନ ବାଟ ପାଖରେ ପଡ଼ିଲା ଓ ପାଦ ତଳେ ଦଳି ହୋଇଗଲା, ପୁଣି, ଆକାଶର ଚଢ଼େଇମାନେ ସେଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଖାଇଗଲେ।
A sower went forth to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the road-side; and it was trodden down, and the fowl devoured it.
6 ଆଉ କେତେକ ପଥର ଉପରେ ପଡ଼ିଲା, ପୁଣି, ଗଜା ହୋଇ ରସ ନ ପାଇବାରୁ ଶୁଖିଗଲା।
And other fell upon the rock; and it immediately sprang up, and, because it had no moisture, it withered.
7 ଆଉ କେତେକ କଣ୍ଟାଗଛଗୁଡ଼ାକ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପଡ଼ିଲା, ପୁଣି, କଣ୍ଟାଗଛଗୁଡ଼ାକ ସାଙ୍ଗେ ସାଙ୍ଗେ ବଢ଼ି ସେଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଚାପି ପକାଇଲା।
And other fell among thorns, and they sprang up with it, and choked it.
8 ଅନ୍ୟ କେତେକ ଭଲ ଭୂମିରେ ପଡ଼ିଲା ଆଉ ବଢ଼ି ଶହେ ଗୁଣ ଫଳ ଫଳିଲା।” ସେ ଏହା କହୁ କହୁ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ୱରରେ କହିଲେ, “ଯାହାର ଶୁଣିବା ପାଇଁ କାନ ଅଛି, ସେ ଶୁଣୁ।”
And other fell into ground good and fair, and sprang up, and made fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these (words), he cried, Whoever hath ears to hear, let him hear.
9 ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ଏହି ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତର ଅର୍ଥ କଅଣ ବୋଲି ପଚାରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ।
And his disciples asked him, What is (the signification of) this parable?
10 ସେଥିରେ ସେ କହିଲେ, ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟର ରହସ୍ୟ ଜାଣିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶକ୍ତି ଦିଆଯାଇଅଛି, କିନ୍ତୁ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତରେ କୁହାଯାଏ, “‘ଯେପରି ସେମାନେ ଦେଖୁ ଦେଖୁ ଦେଖିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ ଓ ଶୁଣୁ ଶୁଣୁ ବୁଝିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।’”
But he said to them, To you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Aloha; but to those who are the rest in similitudes is it spoken; that while seeing they may not see, and while hearing they may not understand.
11 “ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତର ଅର୍ଥ ଏହି, ବିହନ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ,
But this is the parable: The seed is the word of Aloha.
12 ଆଉ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ବାଟ ପାଖରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣନ୍ତି; ତାହା ପରେ ଶୟତାନ ଆସି, ଯେପରି ସେମାନେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରି ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ନ ପାଆନ୍ତି, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହୃଦୟରୁ ବାକ୍ୟ ନେଇଯାଏ।
Now they by the road-side are they who hear the word; and the adversary cometh, and taketh up the word from their hearts, that they should not believe and be saved.
13 ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ପଥର ଉପରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣି ଆନନ୍ଦରେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରନ୍ତି; କିନ୍ତୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଚେର ନ ଥିବାରୁ ସେମାନେ ଅଳ୍ପ ସମୟ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ପରୀକ୍ଷା ସମୟରେ ଧର୍ମତ୍ୟାଗୀ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
But those who fell upon the rock are those who, when they hear, with joy receive the word; yet root they have not, but for a time is their faith, and in the time of temptation they are offended.
14 ଆଉ, କଣ୍ଟାଗଛଗୁଡ଼ାକ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯାହା ପଡ଼ିଲା, ତାହା ଏପରି ଲୋକେ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଶୁଣି ସାଂସାରିକ ଚିନ୍ତା, ଧନ ଓ ସୁଖଭୋଗର ବଶବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହୋଇ ଜୀବନ ଯାତ୍ରା କରୁ କରୁ ଚାପି ହୋଇଯାନ୍ତି, ପୁଣି, ପରିପକ୍ୱ ଫଳ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
But that which fell among thorns are they who hear the word, and by the cares, and by the riches, and by the lusts of the world, they are choked, and fruit they give not.
15 ଆଉ, ଉତ୍ତମ ଭୂମିରେ ଯାହା ପଡ଼ିଲା, ତାହା ଏପରି ଲୋକେ, ଆଉ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଉତ୍ତମ ଓ ସରଳ ହୃଦୟରେ ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣି ତାହା ଧରି ରଖନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ଧୈର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସହକାରେ ଫଳ ଫଳନ୍ତି।”
But that which (was) in good ground are they who, with hearts humble and good, hear the word and retain, and give fruits with perseverance.
16 “କେହି ଦୀପ ଜାଳି ପାତ୍ର ଦ୍ୱାରା ତାହା ଘୋଡ଼ାଇ ରଖେ ନାହିଁ, କିମ୍ବା ଖଟ ତଳେ ରଖେ ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଦୀପରୁଖା ଉପରେ ରଖେ, ଯେପରି ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ଆଲୋକ ଦେଖି ପାରନ୍ତି।
NO man lighteth a lamp, and covereth it with a measure, or setteth it under a bed; but setteth it upon a candlestick, that every one who cometh in may see the light of it.
17 କାରଣ ଯାହା ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ନ ହେବ, ଏପରି ଗୁପ୍ତ ବିଷୟ କିଛି ନାହିଁ, ଅବା ଯାହା ଜଣାଯାଇ ପ୍ରକାଶ ନ ପାଇବ, ଏପରି ଗୁପ୍ତ ବିଷୟ କିଛି ନାହିଁ।
For there is nothing hidden which shall not be revealed, and nothing secret that shall not be known and come into openness.
18 ଅତଏବ, କିପରି ଶୁଣୁଅଛ, ସେ ବିଷୟରେ ସାବଧାନ; କାରଣ ଯାହାର ଅଛି, ତାହାକୁ ଦିଆଯିବ, ଆଉ ଯାହାର ନାହିଁ, ସେ ଯାହା ନିଜର ଅଛି ବୋଲି ମନେ କରେ, ତାହା ସୁଦ୍ଧା ତାହାଠାରୁ ନିଆଯିବ।”
Take heed how you hear: for unto him who hath, it shall be given; and from him who hath not, that also which he thinketh that he hath shall be taken from him.
19 ତାହାଙ୍କ ମାଆ ଓ ଭାଇମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିଲେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଲୋକଗହଳି ହେତୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଦେଖା କରିପାରୁ ନ ଥିଲେ।
Now came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not speak with him on account of the assembly.
20 ସେଥିରେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଖବର ଦିଆଗଲା, ଆପଣଙ୍କର ମାଆ ଓ ଭାଇମାନେ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଦେଖା କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରି ବାହାରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
And they said to him, Thy mother and thy brethren are standing without, desiring to see thee.
21 କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, “ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣନ୍ତି ଓ ପାଳନ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ମୋହର ମାଆ ଓ ଭାଇମାନେ।”
But he answered and said to them, These are my mother and my brethren, they who hear the word of Aloha, and do it.
22 ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଦିନେ ଯୀଶୁ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ଗୋଟିଏ ନୌକାରେ ଚଢ଼ିଲେ, ଆଉ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଆସ, ହ୍ରଦର ଆରପାରିକୁ ଯିବା।” ସେଥିରେ ସେମାନେ ନୌକା ଫିଟାଇଦେଲେ।
NOW it was on one of the days that Jeshu ascended and sat in a vessel and his disciples: and he said to them, Let us pass to the other side of the water.
23 କିନ୍ତୁ ସେମାନେ ନୌକା ବାହି ଯାଉଥିବା ସମୟରେ ଯୀଶୁ ଶୋଇପଡ଼ିଥିଲେ। ସେତେବେଳେ ହ୍ରଦରେ ତୋଫାନ ହେଲା, ଆଉ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନୌକା ଜଳରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା ଓ ସେମାନେ ବିପଦରେ ପଡ଼ିଲେ।
But as they went, Jeshu himself slept. And there became a storm of wind on the water, and nigh was the vessel to be swallowed up.
24 ସେଥିରେ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଉଠାଇ କହିଲେ, ହେ ଗୁରୁ, ହେ ଗୁରୁ, ଆମେ ମଲୁ। ଏଥିରେ ସେ ଉଠି ପବନ ଓ ପ୍ରବଳ ତରଙ୍ଗକୁ ଧମକ ଦେଲେ, ଆଉ ସେହିସବୁ ବନ୍ଦ ହୋଇ ସୁସ୍ଥିର ହେଲା।
And they approached (and) awoke him, saying to him, Our master, our master, we perish! But he arose and rebuked the winds and the waves of the sea; and they quieted, and there was a calm.
25 ପୁଣି, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କାହିଁ?” କିନ୍ତୁ ସେମାନେ ଭୀତ ଓ ଚକିତ ହୋଇ ପରସ୍ପରକୁ କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, ଏ ତେବେ କିଏ ଯେ, ସେ ବାୟୁ ଓ ଜଳକୁ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଆଦେଶ ଦିଅନ୍ତେ, ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ମାନନ୍ତି।
And he said to them, Where is your faith? But they, afraid, wondered, saying one with another, Who is this that also commandeth the winds, and to whom the waves and the sea are obedient?
26 ପରେ ସେମାନେ ଗାଲିଲୀର ସମ୍ମୁଖବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସେପାରିର ଗରାଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଲେ।
And they went forward and came to the country of the Godroyee, which is over against Galila.
27 ସେ ନୌକାରୁ ବାହାରି କୂଳରେ ଓହ୍ଲାନ୍ତେ ସେହି ନଗରର ଜଣେ ଭୂତଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟିଲା; ସେ ବହୁକାଳ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଲୁଗା ନ ପିନ୍ଧି ଓ ଘରେ ନ ରହି ସମାଧି-ସ୍ଥାନରେ ରହୁଥିଲା।
And when he had gone forth to the land, there met him a certain man from the city, who had a devil in him a great time, and (who) wore no clothes, and in a house dwelt not, but in the place of the buried.
28 ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି ଚିତ୍କାର କରି ତାହାଙ୍କ ଚରଣ ତଳେ ପଡ଼ି ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ୱରରେ କହିଲା, ହେ ମହାନ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଯୀଶୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ମୋହର କଅଣ ଅଛି? ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନିବେଦନ କରୁଅଛି, ମୋତେ କଷ୍ଟ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ।
But when he saw Jeshu, he cried out, and fell before him, and said in a high voice, What to us and to thee, Jeshu, son of Aloha Marima? I beseech of thee, torment me not.
29 କାରଣ ସେ ଅଶୁଚି ଆତ୍ମାକୁ ସେହି ମନୁଷ୍ୟଠାରୁ ବାହାରିଯିବା ପାଇଁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେବାକୁ ଯାଉଥିଲେ। ସେହି ଆତ୍ମା ଅନେକ ଥର ତାହାକୁ ଧରିଥିଲା, ପୁଣି, ଲୋକେ ତାହାକୁ ଜଞ୍ଜିର ଓ ବେଡ଼ିସବୁ ଦ୍ୱାରା ବାନ୍ଧି ରଖୁଥିଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ସେ ବନ୍ଧନସବୁ ଛିଣ୍ଡାଇପକାଇ ଭୂତ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରକୁ ଚାଳିତ ହେଉଥିଲା।
For Jeshu commanded the unclean spirit to come forth from the man. For long was the time that he had been enthralled of him; and (when) bound with chains, and kept with fetters, he had burst asunder his bonds, and had been driven by the demon into the waste.
30 ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, “ତୋର ନାଁ କଅଣ?” ସେ କହିଲା, ବାହିନୀ; କାରଣ ଅନେକ ଭୂତ ତାହାଠାରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିଥିଲେ।
And Jeshu demanded of him, What is thy name? He saith to him, Legion: because that many devils had entered into him.
31 ପୁଣି, ସେ ଯେପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପାତାଳକୁ ଯିବା ପାଇଁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ନ ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବିନତି କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ। (Abyssos g12)
And they besought from him that he would not cast them out to go into the abyss. (Abyssos g12)
32 ସେଠାରେ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ବଡ଼ ଘୁଷୁରିପଲ ଚରୁଥିଲା, ପୁଣି, ଯୀଶୁ ଯେପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେହି ଘୁଷୁରିଗୁଡ଼ାକ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପଶିବା ପାଇଁ ଅନୁମତି ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବିନତି କଲେ।
Now there was there a great herd of many swine which fed on the hill: and they besought from him that he would permit them to enter into the swine. And he permitted them.
33 ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁମତି ଦିଅନ୍ତେ, ଭୂତଗୁଡ଼ାକ ସେହି ମନୁଷ୍ୟଠାରୁ ବାହାରି ଘୁଷୁରିଗୁଡ଼ାକ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପଶିଲେ; ସେଥିରେ ସେହି ଘୁଷୁରୀ ପଲ ଅତି ବେଗରେ ପାହାଡ ଉପରୁ ଦୌଡ଼ିଯାଇ ହ୍ରଦରେ ପଡ଼ି ବୁଡ଼ି ମଲେ।
And the demons went forth from the man, and entered into the swine; and the whole herd went directly to the precipice, and plunged into the waters, and were suffocated.
34 ଚରାଉଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ସେହି ଘଟଣା ଦେଖି ପଳାଇଯାଇ ନଗର ଓ ପଲ୍ଲୀଗୁଡି଼କରେ ତାହା ଜଣାଇଲେ।
And when the herdmen saw the thing that was done, they fled, and made known in the city and in the villages.
35 ସେଥିରେ ଲୋକେ ସେହି ଘଟଣା ଦେଖିବାକୁ ବାହାରି ଆସିଲେ; ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି, ଯେଉଁ ମନୁଷ୍ୟଠାରୁ ଭୂତଗୁଡ଼ାକ ବାହାରିଥିଲେ, ତାହାକୁ ଲୁଗା ପିନ୍ଧି ଭଲ ମନରେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପାଦ ତଳେ ବସିଥିବା ଦେଖି ଭୟ କଲେ।
And the men went forth to see the thing which was done. And they came to Jeshu, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, clothed, sober, and sitting at the feet of Jeshu. And they feared.
36 ଆଉ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଦେଖିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ସେହି ଭୂତଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ଲୋକ କିପରି ସୁସ୍ଥ ହେଲା, ତାହା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇଲେ।
And they who had seen it showed to them how the man of the demon had been healed.
37 ସେଥିରେ ଗରାଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ଚାରିପାଖରେ ଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଯିବା ପାଇଁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କଲେ, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଭୟଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ; ଆଉ, ସେ ଗୋଟିଏ ନୌକାରେ ଚଢ଼ି ଫେରିଆସିଲେ।
And the whole multitude of the Godroyee besought of Jeshu that he would go from them, because great fear had taken them. And he, Jeshu, ascended the ship, and returned from them.
38 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକଠାରୁ ଭୂତଗୁଡ଼ାକ ବାହାରିଯାଇଥିଲେ, ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ରହିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିବେଦନ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା;
But he, the man from whom had gone forth the demons, besought of him that he might be with him. But Jeshu dismissed him, and said to him,
39 ମାତ୍ର ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବିଦାୟ କରି କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭ ଘରକୁ ଫେରିଯାଅ, ପୁଣି, ଈଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ କର୍ମ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ସେହିସବୁ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କର।” ସେଥିରେ ସେ ଚାଲିଯାଇ, ଯୀଶୁ ତାହା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ କର୍ମ କରିଥିଲେ, ସେହିସବୁ ନଗରଯାକ ଘୋଷଣା କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା।
Return to thine house, and show what Aloha hath done for thee. And he went and proclaimed in every city what Jeshu had done for him.
40 ଯୀଶୁ ଫେରିଆସନ୍ତେ ଲୋକସମୂହ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଆନନ୍ଦରେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ, କାରଣ ସମସ୍ତେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷାରେ ଥିଲେ।
WHEN Jeshu returned, a great multitude received him: for they were all expecting him.
41 ଆଉ, ଦେଖ, ଯାଈରସ ନାମକ ଜଣେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଆସିଲେ; ସେ ସମାଜଗୃହର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଥିଲେ। ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପାଦ ତଳେ ପଡ଼ି ଆପଣା ଗୃହକୁ ଆସିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବିନତି କଲେ,
And a certain man whose name was Jorush, head of the synagogue, fell before the feet of Jeshu, and besought him to enter into his house;
42 କାରଣ ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାୟ ବାର ବର୍ଷ ବୟସର ଏକମାତ୍ର କନ୍ୟା ଥିଲା, ଆଉ ସେ ମୃତପ୍ରାୟ ହୋଇଥିଲା। କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ଯାଉଥିବା ସମୟରେ ଲୋକସମୂହ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ମାଡ଼ିପଡ଼ୁଥିଲେ।
for he had an only daughter, as a daughter of twelve years, and she was nigh unto death. And as Jeshu went with him, the great multitude pressed him.
43 ସେତେବେଳେ ବାର ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପ୍ରଦର ରୋଗରେ ଜଣେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକ, ଯେ ସମସ୍ତ ପୁଞ୍ଜି ସୁସ୍ଥ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ବୈଦ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ କରିଥିଲା କିନ୍ତୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ ହୋଇପାରି ନ ଥିଲା,
And a certain woman whose blood had gushed forth twelve years, she who among the physicians had spent all her substance, but could not be healed by any one,
44 ସେ ପଛଆଡ଼ୁ ଆସି ତାହାଙ୍କ ବସ୍ତ୍ରର ଝୁମ୍ପା ଛୁଇଁଲା, ଆଉ, ସେହିକ୍ଷଣି ତାହାର ରକ୍ତସ୍ରାବ ବନ୍ଦ ହେଲା।
approached him from behind, and touched the border of his garment, and immediately stood the flowing of her blood.
45 ସେଥିରେ ଯୀଶୁ କହିଲେ, “କିଏ ମୋତେ ଛୁଇଁଲା?” ମାତ୍ର ସମସ୍ତେ ଅସ୍ୱୀକାର କରନ୍ତେ, ପିତର କହିଲେ, ହେ ଗୁରୁ, ଲୋକସମୂହ ଯନ୍ତାଯନ୍ତି ହୋଇ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ମାଡ଼ିପଡ଼ୁଅଛନ୍ତି।
And Jeshu said, Who touched me? And when all denied, Shemun Kipha and those with him said, Raban, the crowd straiteneth and presseth thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
46 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ କହିଲେ, “କେହି ଜଣେ ମୋତେ ଛୁଇଁଲା, କାରଣ ମୋʼଠାରୁ ଶକ୍ତି ବାହାରିଗଲା ବୋଲି ମୁଁ ଜାଣିଲି।”
But he said, Some one hath touched me, for I know that power hath gone forth from me.
47 ଯେତେବେଳେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକଟି ଦେଖିଲା ଯେ, ସେ ଲୁଚି ରହି ପାରିଲା ନାହିଁ, ସେତେବେଳେ ସେ ଥରି ଥରି ଆସି ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଦ ତଳେ ପଡ଼ି, କାହିଁକି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଛୁଇଁଲା ପୁଣି, କିପରି ସେହିକ୍ଷଣି ସୁସ୍ଥ ହେଲା, ତାହା ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ପ୍ରକାଶ କଲା।
And she, the woman, when she saw that she was not hid, came trembling and fell (and) worshipped him. And she told before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how at once she had been healed.
48 ସେଥିରେ ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଝିଅ, ତୋହର ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ତୋତେ ସୁସ୍ଥ କରିଅଛି, ଶାନ୍ତିରେ ଚାଲିଯା।”
But he, Jeshu, said to her, Be comforted, my daughter: thy faith hath saved thee, go in peace.
49 ସେ ଏହି କଥା କହୁଥିବା ସମୟରେ ସମାଜଗୃହର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷଙ୍କ ଘରୁ ଜଣେ ଆସି କହିଲା, ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଝିଅ ମରିଗଲାଣି, ଗୁରୁଙ୍କୁ ଆଉ କଷ୍ଟ ଦିଅନ୍ତୁ ନାହିଁ।
And while he was speaking, there came a man from the chief of the synagogue and said to him, Thy daughter is dead, weary not the Malphona.
50 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଏହା ଶୁଣି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, “ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ କେବଳ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କର, ଆଉ ସେ ବଞ୍ଚିବ।”
But Jeshu heard, and said to the father of the damsel, Fear not, only believe, and she lives!
51 ପୁଣି, ସେ ଗୃହକୁ ଆସି ପିତର, ଯୋହନ ଓ ଯାକୁବ, ପୁଣି, ବାଳିକାର ପିତାମାତାଙ୍କ ବିନା ଆଉ କାହାକୁ ଆପଣା ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ଭିତରକୁ ଯିବା ପାଇଁ ଦେଲେ ନାହିଁ।
But Jeshu came to the house, and he suffered no man to enter with him, save Shemun, and Jakub, and Juchanon, and the father of the damsel, and her mother.
52 ମାତ୍ର ସମସ୍ତେ ତାହା ପାଇଁ ରୋଦନ କରୁ କରୁ ଛାତିରେ ମାରିହେଉଥିଲେ। ସେଥିରେ ସେ କହିଲେ, “ରୋଦନ କର ନାହିଁ; ସେ ମରି ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଶୋଇପଡ଼ିଅଛି।”
And they were all weeping and wailing for her; but Jeshu said, Weep not, for she is not dead, but asleep.
53 କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ମରିଯାଇଅଛି ବୋଲି ଜାଣିଥିବାରୁ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପରିହାସ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ।
And they laughed at him, for they knew that she was dead.
54 ମାତ୍ର ସେ ତାହାର ହାତ ଧରି ଡାକି କହିଲେ, “ଆଗୋ ବାଳିକା, ଉଠ।”
But he put every man forth without. And he took her by the hand, and called and said, Damsel, arise.
55 ସେଥିରେ ତାହାର ଆତ୍ମା ଫେରିଆସିଲା ଆଉ ସେ ସେହିକ୍ଷଣି ଉଠିଲା, ପୁଣି, ସେ ତାହାକୁ କିଛି ଖାଇବାକୁ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ।
And her spirit returned, and she arose. And he directed that they should give her to eat.
56 ଏଥିରେ ତାହାର ପିତାମାତା ଆଚମ୍ଭିତ ହେଲେ; କିନ୍ତୁ ସେହି ଘଟଣାର କଥା କାହାକୁ ନ କହିବା ପାଇଁ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ।
And her parents were astonished; but he cautioned them that no man they should tell what he had done.
