ଲୂକ 14
1 ଥରେ ସେ ବିଶ୍ରାମବାର ଦିନରେ ଭୋଜନ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନଙ୍କର ଜଣେ ନେତାଙ୍କ ଗୃହରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରନ୍ତେ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ କରି ରହିଲେ।
And it was don, whanne he hadde entrid in to the hous of a prince of Farisees, in the sabat, to ete breed, thei aspieden hym.
2 ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ତାହାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଜଣେ ଜଳୋଦର ରୋଗରେ ପୀଡ଼ିତ ଲୋକ ଥିଲେ।
And lo! a man sijk in the dropesie was bifor hym.
3 ସେଥିରେ ଯୀଶୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାଶାସ୍ତ୍ରଜ୍ଞ ଓ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, “ବିଶ୍ରାମବାର ଦିନରେ ସୁସ୍ଥ କରିବା ବିଧିସଙ୍ଗତ କି ନୁହେଁ? କିନ୍ତୁ ସେମାନେ ନୀରବ ରହିଲେ।”
And Jhesus answerynge spak to the wise men of lawe, and to the Farisees, and seide, Whethir it is leeueful to heele in the sabat?
4 ପୁଣି, ସେ ତାହାକୁ ଧରି ସୁସ୍ଥ କଲେ ଓ ବିଦାୟ ଦେଲେ।
And thei helden pees. And Jhesus took, and heelide hym, and let hym go.
5 ଆଉ, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କେହି ଆପଣା ପୁଅ ବା ବଳଦ କୂଅରେ ପଡ଼ିଲେ କଅଣ ତାହାକୁ ବିଶ୍ରାମବାର ଦିନରେ ସେହିକ୍ଷଣି ଉଠାଇବ ନାହିଁ?”
And he answeride to hem, and seide, Whos asse or oxe of you schal falle in to a pit, and `he schal not anoon drawe hym out in the dai of the sabat?
6 ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ କଥାର କୌଣସି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇ ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ।
And thei myyten not answere to hym to these thingis.
7 ପୁଣି, ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରିତ ଲୋକମାନେ କେମିତି ପ୍ରଧାନ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଆସନ ବାଛୁଥିଲେ, ଏହା ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ କରି ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତ ଦେଇ କହିଲେ,
He seide also a parable to men bodun to a feeste, and biheld hou thei chesen the first sittyng placis, and seide to hem,
8 “ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ଦ୍ୱାରା ବିବାହ ଭୋଜକୁ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରିତ ହୁଅ, ସେତେବେଳେ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଆସନରେ ବସ ନାହିଁ, କାଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ମାନ୍ୟଗଣ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରିତ ହୋଇଥିବେ,
Whanne thou art bodun to bridalis, sitte not `at the mete in the firste place; lest perauenture a worthier than thou be bodun of hym,
9 ଆଉ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରଣ କଲେ, ସେ ଆସି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହିବେ, ‘ଏହାଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ଥାନ ଦିଅ;’ ଆଉ, ସେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲଜ୍ଜାରେ ନିମ୍ନତମ ସ୍ଥାନ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବାକୁ ଯିବ।
and lest he come that clepide thee and hym, and seie to thee, Yyue place to this, and thanne thou schalt bigynne with schame to holde the lowest place.
10 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରିତ ହୁଅ, ସେତେବେଳେ ଯାଇ ନିମ୍ନତମ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ବସ, ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭର ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରଣକାରୀ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଆସି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହିବେ, ‘ହେ ବନ୍ଧୁ, ଉଚ୍ଚତର ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଆସ;’ ସେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଭୋଜନରେ ବସୁଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଆଗରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗୌରବ ହେବ।
But whanne thou art bedun to a feste, go, and sitte doun in the laste place, that whanne he cometh, that bad thee to the feeste, he seie to thee, Freend, come hiyer. Thanne worschip schal be to thee, bifor men that sitten at the mete.
11 କାରଣ ଯେ କେହି ଆପଣାକୁ ଉନ୍ନତ ବୋଲି ଦେଖାଏ, ତାହାକୁ ନତ କରାଯିବ, ପୁଣି, ଯେ ଆପଣାକୁ ନତ କରେ, ତାହାକୁ ଉନ୍ନତ କରାଯିବ।”
For ech that enhaunsith hym, schal be lowid; and he that meketh hym, schal be hiyed.
12 ପୁଣି, ସେ ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରଣକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ କହିଲେ, “ଦିବସ ବା ରାତ୍ରିରେ ଭୋଜି ଦେଲେ ଆପଣା ବନ୍ଧୁ କି ଭାଇ କି ଆତ୍ମୀୟ କି ଧନୀ ପ୍ରତିବାସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରଣ କର ନାହିଁ, କାଳେ ସେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଫେରି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରଣ କରିବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରତିଦାନ ପାଇବ।
And he seide to hym, that hadde bodun hym to the feeste, Whanne thou makist a mete, or a soper, nyle thou clepe thi freendis, nether thi britheren, nethir cosyns, nethir neiyboris, ne riche men; lest perauenture thei bidde thee ayen to the feeste, and it be yolde ayen to thee.
13 କିନ୍ତୁ ଭୋଜ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ ଦରିଦ୍ର, ପଙ୍ଗୁ, ଖଞ୍ଜ ଓ ଅନ୍ଧମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରଣ କର;
But whanne thou makist a feeste, clepe pore men,
14 ତାହାହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଧନ୍ୟ ହେବ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରତିଦାନ ଦେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର କିଛି ନାହିଁ; ଆଉ, ଧାର୍ମିକମାନଙ୍କ ପୁନରୁତ୍ଥାନ ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରତିଦାନ ଦିଆଯିବ।”
feble, crokid, and blynde, and thou schalt be blessid; for thei han not wherof to yelde thee, for it schal be yoldun to thee in the risyng ayen of iust men.
15 ତାହା ଶୁଣି ତାହାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଭୋଜନରେ ବସିଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଜଣେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଭୋଜନ କରିବ, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ।
And whanne oon of hem that saten togider at the mete hadde herd these thingis, he seide to hym, Blessid is he, that schal ete breed in the rewme of God.
16 କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଜଣେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ରାତ୍ର ସମୟରେ ମହାଭୋଜ ଦେବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରି ଅନେକଙ୍କୁ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରଣ କଲେ;
And he seide to hym, A man made a greet soper, and clepide many.
17 ଆଉ, ଭୋଜନର ସମୟ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ, ସେ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆପଣା ଦାସକୁ ପଠାଇ କହିଲେ, ‘ଆପଣମାନେ ଆସନ୍ତୁ, କାରଣ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହେଲାଣି।’
And he sent his seruaunt in the our of soper, to seie to men that weren bodun to the feeste, that thei schulden come, for now alle thingis ben redi.
18 କିନ୍ତୁ ସମସ୍ତେ ଏକ ମତରେ କ୍ଷମା ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ। ପ୍ରଥମ ଜଣ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, ‘ମୁଁ ଖଣ୍ଡେ କ୍ଷେତ କିଣିଅଛି, ମୋତେ ତାହା ଦେଖିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ; ଅନୁରୋଧ କରେ, ମୁଁ କ୍ଷମା ପାଇଅଛି ବୋଲି ମନେ କର।’
And alle bigunnen togidir to excusen hem. The firste seide, Y haue bouyt a toun, and Y haue nede to go out, and se it; Y preye thee, haue me excusid.
19 ଆଉ ଜଣେ କହିଲା, ମୁଁ ପାଞ୍ଚ ହଳ ବଳଦ କିଣିଅଛି, ଆଉ ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରିବାକୁ ଯାଉଅଛି; ଅନୁରୋଧ କରେ, ମୁଁ କ୍ଷମା ପାଇଅଛି ବୋଲି ମନେ କର।
And the tother seide, Y haue bouyt fyue yockis of oxun, and Y go to preue hem; Y preye thee, haue me excusid.
20 ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣେ କହିଲା, ‘ମୁଁ ବିବାହ କରିଅଛି, ତେଣୁ ଯାଇ ପାରୁ ନାହିଁ।’
And an othir seide, Y haue weddid a wijf; and therfor Y may not come.
21 ପୁଣି, ସେହି ଦାସ ଆସି ଆପଣା ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ସେହିସବୁ ଜଣାଇଲା। ସେଥିରେ ଗୃହକର୍ତ୍ତା ରାଗିଯାଇ ଆପଣା ଦାସକୁ କହିଲେ, ‘ଶୀଘ୍ର ନଗରର ଦାଣ୍ଡ ଓ ଗଳିଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଯାଇ ଦରିଦ୍ର, ପଙ୍ଗୁ, ଅନ୍ଧ ଓ ଖଞ୍ଜମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏଠାକୁ ନେଇଆସ।’
And the seruaunt turnede ayen, and tolde these thingis to his lord. Thanne the hosebonde man was wrooth, and seide to his seruaunt, Go out swithe in to the grete stretis and smal stretis of the citee, and brynge ynne hidir pore men, and feble, blynde, and crokid.
22 ପରେ ସେହି ଦାସ କହିଲା, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଆଦେଶ ଅନୁସାରେ କରାଯାଇଅଛି, ତଥାପି ଆହୁରି ସ୍ଥାନ ଅଛି।
And the seruaunt seide, Lord, it is don, as thou hast comaundid, and yit there is a void place.
23 ସେଥିରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସେହି ଦାସକୁ କହିଲେ, ‘ରାଜଦାଣ୍ଡ ଓ ବାଡ଼ ଆଡ଼କୁ ଯାଇ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆସିବା ପାଇଁ କୁହ, ଯେପରି ମୋହର ଗୃହ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୁଏ।’
And the lord seide to the seruaunt, Go out in to weies and heggis, and constreine men to entre, that myn hous be fulfillid.
24 ଯେଣୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ସେହି ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କେହି ମୋହର ଭୋଜର ଆସ୍ୱାଦ ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ।”
For Y seie to you, that noon of tho men that ben clepid, schal taaste my soper.
25 ବହୁସଂଖ୍ୟକ ଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଯାଉଥିଲେ, ଆଉ ସେ ବୁଲିପଡ଼ି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,
And myche puple wenten with hym; and he turnede, and seide to hem,
26 “କେହି ଯେବେ ମୋʼ ପାଖକୁ ଆସି ନିଜର ପିତା, ମାତା, ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ସନ୍ତାନ, ଭାଇ ଓ ଭଉଣୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏପରିକି ନିଜ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ମୋʼଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ପ୍ରିୟ ମନେ କରେ, ତେବେ ସେ ମୋହର ଶିଷ୍ୟ ହୋଇପାରେ ନାହିଁ।
If ony man cometh to me, and hatith not his fadir, and modir, and wijf, and sones, and britheren, and sistris, and yit his owne lijf, he may not be my disciple.
27 ଯେ କେହି ଆପଣା କ୍ରୁଶ ବହନ କରି ମୋହର ଅନୁସରଣ ନ କରେ, ସେ ମୋହର ଶିଷ୍ୟ ହୋଇପାରେ ନାହିଁ।
And he that berith not his cross, and cometh aftir me, may not be my disciple.
28 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କିଏ ପ୍ରହରୀ-ଗୃହ ତିଆରି କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରି ତାହା ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତାହାର ଅର୍ଥବଳ ଅଛି କି ନାହିଁ, ଏହା ପ୍ରଥମେ ବସି ବ୍ୟୟହିସାବ ଦେଖିବ ନାହିଁ?
For who of you willynge to bilde a toure, whether he `first sitte not, and countith the spensis that ben nedeful, if he haue to perfourme?
29 କାଳେ ସେ ମୂଳଦୁଆ ପଥର ବସାଇ ଶେଷ କରି ନ ପାରିଲେ, ଯେତେ ଲୋକ ତାହା ଦେଖିବେ, ସମସ୍ତେ ତାହାକୁ ପରିହାସ କରି କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିବେ,
Lest aftir that he hath set the foundement, and mowe not perfourme, alle that seen, bigynnen to scorne hym, and seie, For this man bigan to bilde,
30 ଏ ଲୋକଟା ତିଆରି କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ଶେଷ କରିପାରିଲା ନାହିଁ।
and myyte not make an ende.
31 କିମ୍ବା କେଉଁ ରାଜା ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣେ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ଯାଉଥିବା ସମୟରେ, କୋଡ଼ିଏ ହଜାର ସୈନ୍ୟ ଘେନି ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆସୁଥିବା ରାଜାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଦଶ ହଜାର ସୈନ୍ୟ ନେଇ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ସକ୍ଷମ କି ନାହିଁ, ତାହା ପ୍ରଥମେ ବସି ବିବେଚନା କରିବେ ନାହିଁ?
Or what kyng that wole go to do a bataile ayens anothir kyng, whether he sittith not first, and bithenkith, if he may with ten thousynde go ayens hym that cometh ayens hym with twenti thousynde?
32 ଯଦି ପାରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ତେବେ ଅନ୍ୟ ରାଜା ଦୂରରେ ଥାଉ ଥାଉ ସେ ଦୂତ ପଠାଇ ସନ୍ଧି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରନ୍ତି।
Ellis yit while he is afer, he sendynge a messanger, preieth tho thingis that ben of pees.
33 ସେହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଯେ କେହି ଆପଣାର ସବୁ କିଛି ତ୍ୟାଗ ନ କରେ, ସେ ମୋହର ଶିଷ୍ୟ ହୋଇପାରେ ନାହିଁ।”
So therfor ech of you, that forsakith not alle thingis that he hath, may not be my disciple.
34 “ଲବଣ ତ ଉତ୍ତମ; କିନ୍ତୁ ଲବଣ ମଧ୍ୟ ଯଦି ସ୍ୱାଦ ଦିଏ ନାହିଁ, ତେବେ ତାହା କାହିଁରେ ସ୍ୱାଦଯୁକ୍ତ କରାଯିବ?
Salt is good; but if salt vanysche, in what thing schal it be sauerid?
35 ତାହା ଭୂମି କିମ୍ବା ଖତଗଦା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ; ଲୋକେ ତାହା ବାହାରେ ଫୋପାଡ଼ି ଦିଅନ୍ତି। ଯାହାର ଶୁଣିବାକୁ କାନ ଅଛି, ସେ ଶୁଣୁ।”
Nethir in erthe, nethir in donghille it is profitable, but it schal be cast out. He that hath eeris of herynge, here he.
