ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଲିଖିତ ତୃତୀୟ ପୁସ୍ତକ 24
1 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,
And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
2 “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ଏହି ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦିଅ, ନିତ୍ୟ ନିତ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଦୀପ ଜ୍ୱଳାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ନିର୍ମଳ ପେଷା ଜୀତ ତୈଳ ଆଣିବେ।
'Command the sons of Israel, and they bring unto thee pure olive oil, beaten, for the lamp, to cause a light to go up continually;
3 ହାରୋଣ ସମାଗମ-ତମ୍ବୁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ-ସିନ୍ଦୁକର ବିଚ୍ଛେଦ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ବାହାରେ ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟାଠାରୁ ପ୍ରଭାତ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ନିତ୍ୟ ନିତ୍ୟ ତାହା ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବ; ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପୁରୁଷାନୁକ୍ରମେ ପାଳନୀୟ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳୀନ ବିଧି।
at the outside of the vail of the testimony in the tent of meeting doth Aaron arrange it from evening till morning before Jehovah continually — a statute age-during to your generations;
4 ସେ ନିର୍ମଳ ଦୀପବୃକ୍ଷ ଉପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ନିତ୍ୟ ନିତ୍ୟ ସେହି ପ୍ରଦୀପସକଳ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବ।
by the pure candlestick he doth arrange the lights before Jehovah continually.
5 ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସରୁ ମଇଦା ନେଇ ତହିଁରେ ବାରଗୋଟି ପିଠା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବ; ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ପିଠା ଏକ ଐଫାର ଦୁଇ ଦଶମାଂଶ ହେବ।
'And thou hast taken flour, and hast baked twelve cakes with it, two tenth deals are in the one cake,
6 ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏକ ଏକ ଧାଡ଼ିରେ ଛଅ ଛଅ, ଏପରି ଦୁଇ ଧାଡ଼ି କରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ନିର୍ମଳ ମେଜ ଉପରେ ତାହାସବୁ ରଖିବ।
and thou hast set them two ranks (six in the rank) on the pure table before Jehovah,
7 ଆଉ, ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଧାଡ଼ି ଉପରେ ନିର୍ମଳ କୁନ୍ଦୁରୁ ଦେବ, ତାହା ସେହି ରୁଟିର ସ୍ମରଣାର୍ଥକ ଅଂଶ ରୂପେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଅଗ୍ନିକୃତ ଉପହାର ହେବ।
and thou hast put on the rank pure frankincense, and it hath been to the bread for a memorial, a fire-offering to Jehovah.
8 ପୁଣି, ଯାଜକ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ବିଶ୍ରାମବାର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ତାହା ନିତ୍ୟ ନିତ୍ୟ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବ; ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ପକ୍ଷରେ ଏହା ଅନନ୍ତକାଳୀନ ନିୟମ।
'On each sabbath-day he arrangeth it before Jehovah continually, from the sons of Israel — a covenant age-during;
9 ପୁଣି, ତାହା ହାରୋଣ ଓ ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ରଗଣଙ୍କର ହେବ; ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ କୌଣସି ଏକ ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନରେ ତାହା ଭୋଜନ କରିବେ, କାରଣ ତାହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଅଗ୍ନିକୃତ ଉପହାର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ମହାପବିତ୍ର ଅଟେ; ଏହା ଅନନ୍ତକାଳୀନ ବିଧି।”
and it hath been to Aaron, and to his sons, and they have eaten it in the holy place, for it [is] most holy to him, from the fire-offerings of Jehovah — a statute age-during.'
10 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମିସରୀୟ ପୁରୁଷର ଔରସରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶୀୟା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଠାରୁ ଜାତ ଏକ ପୁତ୍ର ବାହାର ହୋଇ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗଲା; ପୁଣି ଛାଉଣି ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେହି ଇସ୍ରାଏଲୀୟା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀର ପୁତ୍ର ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲୀୟ କୌଣସି ପୁରୁଷ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବିବାଦ ହେଲା।
And a son of an Israelitish woman goeth out (and he [is] son of an Egyptian man), in the midst of the sons of Israel, and strive in the camp do the son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel,
11 ତହିଁରେ ସେହି ଇସ୍ରାଏଲୀୟା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀର ପୁତ୍ର (ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ) ନାମକୁ ନିନ୍ଦା କରି ଅଭିଶାପ ଦେଲା; ତହୁଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହାକୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆଣିଲେ; ତାହାର ମାତାର ନାମ ଶଲୋମୀତ୍, ସେ ଦାନ୍ ବଂଶୀୟ ଦିବ୍ରିର କନ୍ୟା ଥିଲା।
and the son of the Israelitish woman execrateth the Name, and revileth; and they bring him in unto Moses; and his mother's name [is] Shelomith daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan;
12 ପୁଣି ଲୋକମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମୁଖରୁ ଆଦେଶ ପାଇବା ଅପେକ୍ଷାରେ ତାହାକୁ ରୁଦ୍ଧ କରି ରଖିଲେ।
and he causeth him to rest in charge — to explain to them by the mouth of Jehovah.
13 ତହୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,
And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
14 “ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଅଭିଶାପ ଦେଇଅଛି, ତାହାକୁ ଛାଉଣି ବାହାରକୁ ଆଣ; ପୁଣି ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତାହାର କଥା ଶୁଣିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ତାହାର ମସ୍ତକରେ ହସ୍ତ ଦିଅନ୍ତୁ, ପୁଣି ସମୁଦାୟ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ପଥର ମାରି ତାହାକୁ ବଧ କରନ୍ତୁ।
'Bring out the reviler unto the outside of the camp; and all those hearing have laid their hands on his head, and all the company have stoned him.
15 ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ କୁହ, ଯେକେହି ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ଅଭିଶାପ ଦିଏ, ସେ ଆପଣା ଅପରାଧ ବୋହିବ।
'And unto the sons of Israel thou dost speak, saying, When any man revileth his God — then he hath borne his sin;
16 ପୁଣି, ଯେକେହି ଆପଣା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମର ନିନ୍ଦା କରେ, ସେ ଅବଶ୍ୟ ହତ ହେବ; ସମସ୍ତ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ତାହାକୁ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ପଥର ମାରି ବଧ କରିବେ; ବିଦେଶୀ ହେଉ ବା ସ୍ୱଦେଶୀ ହେଉ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମର ନିନ୍ଦା କଲେ ହତ ହେବ।
and he who is execrating the name of Jehovah is certainly put to death; all the company do certainly cast stones at him; as a sojourner so a native, in his execrating the Name, is put to death.
17 ଆଉ, ଯେକେହି କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ୟକୁ ପ୍ରାଣାନ୍ତକ ଆଘାତ କରେ, ସେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ହତ ହେବ।
'And when a man smiteth any soul of man, he is certainly put to death.
18 ପୁଣି, ଯେକେହି କୌଣସି ପଶୁକୁ ପ୍ରାଣାନ୍ତକ ଆଘାତ କରେ, ସେ ତହିଁର ପରିଶୋଧ ଦେବ; ପ୍ରାଣ ପରିଶୋଧରେ ପ୍ରାଣ।
'And he who smiteth a beast repayeth it, body for body.
19 ଆଉ, କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଯଦି ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବାସୀର ଶରୀରରେ ଖୁଣ କରେ, ତେବେ ସେ ଯେପରି କରିଅଛି, ସେହିପରି ତାହା ପ୍ରତି କରାଯିବ।
'And when a man putteth a blemish in his fellow, as he hath done so it is done to him;
20 କ୍ଷତ ପରିଶୋଧରେ କ୍ଷତ, ଚକ୍ଷୁ ପରିଶୋଧରେ ଚକ୍ଷୁ, ଦନ୍ତ ପରିଶୋଧରେ ଦନ୍ତ; ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ଦେହରେ ଯେ ଯେପରି ଖୁଣ କରିଅଛି, ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ସେହି ପ୍ରକାର କରାଯିବ।
breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he putteth a blemish in a man so it is done in him.
21 ଯେଉଁ ଜନ ପଶୁ ବଧ କରେ, ସେ ତହିଁର ପରିଶୋଧ ଦେବ; ପୁଣି ଯେଉଁ ଜନ ନରହତ୍ୟା କରେ, ସେ ହତ ହେବ।
'And he who smiteth a beast repayeth it, and he who smiteth [the life of] man is put to death;
22 ବିଦେଶୀ ହେଉ କି ସ୍ୱଦେଶୀ ହେଉ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଏକ-ପ୍ରକାର ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ହେବ; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଟୁ।”
one judgment is to you; as a sojourner so is a native; for I [am] Jehovah your God.'
23 ତହୁଁ ମୋଶା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ କହନ୍ତେ, ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଅଭିଶାପ ଦେଇଥିଲା, ତାହାକୁ ସେମାନେ ଛାଉଣିର ବାହାରକୁ ଆଣି ପଥର ମାରି ବଧ କଲେ; ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ କର୍ମ କଲେ।
And Moses speaketh unto the sons of Israel, and they bring out the reviler unto the outside of the camp, and stone him with stones; and the sons of Israel have done as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
