ଯୋହନ 17
1 ଯୀଶୁ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ କଥା କହି ସ୍ୱର୍ଗ ଆଡ଼େ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱଦୃଷ୍ଟି କରି କହିଲେ, “ପିତଃ, ସମୟ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲାଣି; ତୁମ୍ଭର ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ମହିମାନ୍ୱିତ କର, ଯେପରି ପୁତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମହିମାନ୍ୱିତ କରନ୍ତି,
These words spoke Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 ଯେପ୍ରକାର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଇଅଛ, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନନ୍ତ ଜୀବନ ଦେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ସମସ୍ତ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଉପରେ ଅଧିକାର ଦେଲ। (aiōnios g166)
As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. (aiōnios g166)
3 ଆଉ, ଏକମାତ୍ର ସତ୍ୟ ଈଶ୍ବର ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ, ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରେରିତ ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣିବା ଅନନ୍ତ ଜୀବନ ଅଟେ। (aiōnios g166)
And this is life eternal, that they may know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. (aiōnios g166)
4 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଯେଉଁ କର୍ମ କରିବାକୁ ଦେଇଅଛ, ତାହା ମୁଁ ସମାପ୍ତ କରି ପୃଥିବୀରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମହିମାନ୍ୱିତ କରିଅଛି।
I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 ଆଉ ଏବେ, ହେ ପିତା, ଜଗତର ସୃଷ୍ଟି ପୂର୍ବେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ମୋହର ଯେଉଁ ମହିମା ଥିଲା, ତଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ମହିମାନ୍ୱିତ କର।”
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thy ownself, with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
6 “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଜଗତ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦାନ କଲ, ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନାମ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଅଛି; ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଥିଲେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋତେ ଦାନ କଲ, ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବାକ୍ୟ ପାଳନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
I have manifested thy name to the men whom thou gavest to me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them to me; and they have kept thy word.
7 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଯାହା ଯାହା ଦାନ କରିଅଛ, ସେହିସବୁ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ, ଏହା ସେମାନେ ଏବେ ବୁଝିଅଛନ୍ତି;
Now they have known that all things whatever thou hast given me are from thee.
8 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଯେ ସମସ୍ତ ବାକ୍ୟ ଦାନ କଲ, ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେହିସବୁ ଦାନ କରିଅଛି, ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ପୁଣି, ମୁଁ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରୁ ଆସିଅଛି, ତାହା ସତ୍ୟ ରୂପେ ଜାଣିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ପ୍ରେରଣ କରିଅଛ ବୋଲି ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
For I have given to them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received [them], and have known surely that I came from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
9 ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରୁଅଛି; ଜଗତ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରୁ ନାହିଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଇଅଛ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରୁଅଛି, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର;
I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them whom thou hast given to me; for they are thine.
10 ଯାହା ଯାହା ମୋହର, ସେହିସବୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର, ପୁଣି, ଯାହା ଯାହା ତୁମ୍ଭର, ସେହିସବୁ ମୋହର; ଆଉ, ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ମହିମାନ୍ୱିତ ହୋଇଅଛି।
And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11 ମୁଁ ଆଉ ଏ ଜଗତରେ ରହୁ ନାହିଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଏମାନେ ଜଗତରେ ରହୁଅଛନ୍ତି; ପୁଣି, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାଉଅଛି। ପବିତ୍ର ପିତଃ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ସେହି ନାମରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କର ଯେଉଁ ନାମ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଦେଇଅଛ, ଯେପରି ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପ୍ରକାର ଏକ, ସେମାନେ ସେପ୍ରକାର ଏକ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thy own name those whom thou hast given to me, that they may be one, as we [are].
12 ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ରହୁଥିବା ସମୟରେ ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସେହି ନାମରେ ରକ୍ଷା କରି ଅାସିଅଛି ଯେଉଁ ନାମ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଦେଇଅଛ, ଆଉ ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାବଧାନରେ ରକ୍ଷା କରିଅଛି ଓ ଧର୍ମଶାସ୍ତ୍ର ଯେପରି ସଫଳ ହୁଏ, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ବିନାଶର ସନ୍ତାନ ବିନା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଜଣେ କେହି ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇ ନାହିଁ।”
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest to me I have kept, and none of them is lost but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13 “କିନ୍ତୁ ଏବେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାଉଅଛି, ଆଉ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତରେ ମୋହର ଆନନ୍ଦ ଯେପରି ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୁଏ, ସେଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ଜଗତରେ ଥାଉ ଥାଉ ମୁଁ ଏହାସବୁ କହୁଅଛି।
And now I come to thee, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
14 ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବାକ୍ୟ ଦାନ କରିଅଛି, ଆଉ ଜଗତ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରିଅଛି, କାରଣ ମୁଁ ଯେପରି ଏ ଜଗତରୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ନୁହେଁ, ସେମାନେ ସେହିପରି ଏହି ଜଗତରୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ନୁହଁନ୍ତି।
I have given to them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଗତରୁ ଘେନିଯାଅ ବୋଲି ମୁଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରୁ ନାହିଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ମନ୍ଦରୁ ରକ୍ଷା କର ବୋଲି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରୁଅଛି।
I pray not that thou shouldst take them out of the world, but that thou shouldst keep them from the evil.
16 ମୁଁ ଯେପରି ଜଗତରୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ନୁହେଁ, ସେମାନେ ସେପରି ଜଗତରୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ନୁହଁନ୍ତି।
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 ସତ୍ୟ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପବିତ୍ର କର, ତୁମ୍ଭର ବାକ୍ୟ ତ ସତ୍ୟ।
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଯେପରି ଜଗତକୁ ପ୍ରେରଣ କରିଅଛ, ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେପରି ଜଗତକୁ ପ୍ରେରଣ କରିଅଛି।
As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
19 ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଯେପରି ସତ୍ୟ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପବିତ୍ରୀକୃତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆପଣାକୁ ପବିତ୍ର କରୁଅଛି।”
And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified through the truth.
20 “ମୁଁ କେବଳ ଏମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରୁ ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଏମାନଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରୁଅଛି,
Neither pray I for these alone; but for them also who shall believe on me through their word.
21 ଯେପରି ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଏକ ହୁଅନ୍ତି; ହେ ପିତା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେପ୍ରକାରେ ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ଅଛ ଓ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ ଅଛି, ସେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେପ୍ରକାରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ରହନ୍ତୁ, ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ପ୍ରେରଣ କଲ ବୋଲି ଜଗତ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରେ।
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଯେଉଁ ମହିମା ଦେଇଅଛ, ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାହା ଦେଇଅଛି, ଯେପରି ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପ୍ରକାରେ ଏକ, ସେମାନେ ସେପ୍ରକାରେ ଏକ ହୁଅନ୍ତି;
And the glory which thou gavest to me, I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one.
23 ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ଠାରେ, ଯେପରି ସେମାନେ ସିଦ୍ଧ ହୋଇ ଏକ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ଯେପରି ଜଗତ ବୁଝିବ ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ପ୍ରେରଣ କଲ, ପୁଣି, ମୋତେ ଯେପ୍ରକାରେ ପ୍ରେମ କଲ, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେପ୍ରକାରେ ପ୍ରେମ କଲ।
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them as thou hast loved me.
24 ହେ ପିତା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଇଅଛ, ମୁଁ ଯେଉଁଠାରେ ଥାଏ, ସେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଯେପରି ସେଠାରେ ମୋହର ସହିତ ରହିବେ ଓ ଜଗତର ପତ୍ତନ ପୂର୍ବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ପ୍ରେମ କରିଥିବାରୁ ମୋତେ ଯେଉଁ ମହିମା ଦେଇଅଛ, ମୋହର ସେହି ମହିମା ସେମାନେ ଯେପରି ଦେଖିବେ, ଏହା ମୋହର ଇଚ୍ଛା।
Father, I will that they also whom thou hast given to me be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory which thou hast given to me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25 ହେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ପିତା, ଜଗତ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜାଣି ନାହିଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜାଣିଅଛି; ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ମୋତେ ପ୍ରେରଣ କଲ, ତାହା ଏମାନେ ଜାଣିଅଛନ୍ତି;
O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରେମରେ ପ୍ରେମ କଲ, ତାହା ଯେପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ଥାଏ ଓ ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ରହେ, ଏନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମ ଜଣାଇଅଛି ଓ ଜଣାଇବି।”
And I have declared to them thy name, and will declare [it]: that the love with which thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I in them.
