ଯୋହନ 1
1 ସୃଷ୍ଟିର ପୂର୍ବରୁ ବାକ୍ୟ ଥିଲେ, ବାକ୍ୟ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଥିଲେ, ସେହି ବାକ୍ୟ ଈଶ୍ବର ଥିଲେ।
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God;
2 ସେ ଆଦ୍ୟରେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଥିଲେ।
this One was in the beginning with God;
3 ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସମସ୍ତ ସୃଷ୍ଟ ହେଲା; ଆଉ ଯେ ସମସ୍ତ ସୃଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଅଛି, ସେଥିମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିନା ସୃଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇ ନାହିଁ।
all things happened through Him, and without Him not even one thing happened that has happened.
4 ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ଜୀବନ ଥିଲା ଓ ସେହି ଜୀବନ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କର ଜ୍ୟୋତିଃ।
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men,
5 ସେହି ଜ୍ୟୋତିଃ ଅନ୍ଧକାରରେ ଜାଜ୍ୱଲ୍ୟମାନ ହୋଇ ଆସୁଅଛି, ଆଉ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ତାହା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରି ନାହିଁ।
and the light shined in the darkness, and the darkness did not perceive it.
6 ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ ପ୍ରେରିତ ଜଣେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ; ତାହାଙ୍କ ନାମ ଯୋହନ।
There came a man—having been sent from God—whose name [is] John,
7 ସେ ଯେପରି ଜ୍ୟୋତିଃ ବିଷୟରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ପୁଣି, ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସମସ୍ତେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରନ୍ତି, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆସିଲେ।
this one came for testimony, that he might testify about the Light, that all might believe through him;
8 ସେ ନିଜେ ସେହି ଜ୍ୟୋତିଃ ନ ଥିଲେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଜ୍ୟୋତିଃ ବିଷୟରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆସିଲେ।
that one was not the Light, but—that he might testify about the Light.
9 ଯେଉଁ ସତ୍ୟ ଜ୍ୟୋତିଃ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ମନୁଷ୍ୟକୁ ଆଲୋକ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରନ୍ତି, ସେ ଜଗତକୁ ଆସୁଥିଲେ।
He was the true Light, which enlightens every man, coming into the world;
10 ସେ ଜଗତରେ ଥିଲେ ଓ ଜଗତ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସୃଷ୍ଟ ହେଲା, ତଥାପି ଜଗତ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଚିହ୍ନିଲା ନାହିଁ।
He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him:
11 ସେ ଆପଣା ରାଜ୍ୟକୁ ଆସିଲେ, ତଥାପି ତାହାଙ୍କର ନିଜ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ ନାହିଁ।
He came to [His] own, and [His] own did not receive Him;
12 ମାତ୍ର ଯେତେ ଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କଲେ, ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ସେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନ ହେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅଧିକାର ଦେଲେ;
but as many as received Him, to them He gave authority to become sons of God—to those believing in His Name,
13 ସେମାନେ ରକ୍ତରୁ, ଶରୀରର ଇଚ୍ଛାରୁ ଅବା ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ଇଚ୍ଛାରୁ ଜାତ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ, ବରଂ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଜାତ ହେଲେ।
who were begotten, not of blood, nor of will of flesh, nor of will of man, but of God.
14 ଆଉ, ସେହି ବାକ୍ୟ ଦେହବନ୍ତ ହେଲେ, ପୁଣି, ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ଓ ସତ୍ୟରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବାସ କଲେ, ଆଉ ପିତାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆଗତ ଅଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କ ମହିମା ସଦୃଶ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ମହିମା ଦେଖିଲୁ।
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of [the] only begotten of [the] Father, full of grace and truth.
15 ଯୋହନ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେଇ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ୱରରେ କହିଲେ, ଯେ ମୋʼ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଆସୁଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ମୋହର ଅଗ୍ରଗଣ୍ୟ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି, କାରଣ ସେ ମୋହର ପୂର୍ବରେ ଥିଲେ, ଯାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ମୁଁ ଏହା କହିଥିଲି, ସେ ଏହି।
John testifies concerning Him, and has cried, saying, “This was He of whom I said, He who is coming after me has come before me, for He was before me.”
16 ଏଣୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣତାରୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୋଇଅଛୁ, ହଁ, ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ଉପରେ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୋଇଅଛୁ।
And we all received out of His fullness, and grace for grace;
17 କାରଣ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରଦତ୍ତ ହେଲା, କିନ୍ତୁ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ଓ ସତ୍ୟ ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା।
for the Law was given through Moses, the grace and the truth came through Jesus Christ.
18 କେହି କେବେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି ନାହିଁ, ପିତାଙ୍କ କୋଳସ୍ଥିତ ଅଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ପୁତ୍ର ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରକାଶ କଲେ।
No one has ever seen God; the only begotten God who is on the bosom of the Father—He has expounded [Him].
19 ଆପଣ କିଏ, ଏହା ଯୋହନଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯିହୁଦୀ ନେତାମାନେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ସହରରୁ ଯାଜକ ଓ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ, ସେତେବେଳେ ସେ ଏହି ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେଲେ,
And this is the testimony of John when the Jews sent priests and Levites out of Jerusalem, that they might question him, “Who are you?”
20 ସେ ସ୍ୱୀକାର କଲେ, ଅସ୍ୱୀକାର କଲେ ନାହିଁ; ସେ ସ୍ୱୀକାର କଲେ, ମୁଁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ନୁହେଁ।
And he confessed and did not deny, and confessed, “I am not the Christ.”
21 ସେଥିରେ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ତେବେ କଅଣ? ଆପଣ କଅଣ ଏଲୀୟ? ସେ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ନୁହେଁ। ଆପଣ କଅଣ ସେହି ଭାବବାଦୀ? ସେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ନା।
And they questioned him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” And he says, “I am not.” “Are you the prophet?” And he answered, “No.”
22 ସେଥିରେ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଯେପରି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇପାରୁ, ଏଥିସକାଶେ ଆପଣ କିଏ? ଆପଣ ନିଜ ବିଷୟରେ କଅଣ କହୁଅଛନ୍ତି?
Then they said to him, “Who are you, that we may give an answer to those sending us? What do you say concerning yourself?”
23 ସେ କହିଲେ, “ଯିଶାଇୟ ଭାବବାଦୀ ଯେପରି କହିଥିଲେ, ‘ମୁଁ ସେହି ପ୍ରକାର ମରୁପ୍ରାନ୍ତରରେ ଉଚ୍ଚ ଶବ୍ଦ କରୁଥିବା ଜଣକର ସ୍ୱର, ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପଥ ସଳଖ କର।’”
He said, “I [am] a voice of one crying in the wilderness: Make straight the way of the LORD, as Isaiah the prophet said.”
24 ପୁଣି, ଫାରୂଶୀମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କେତେକ ଜଣ ପ୍ରେରିତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ।
And those sent were of the Pharisees,
25 ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ଆପଣ ଯଦି ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ବା ଏଲୀୟ ବା ସେହି ଭାବବାଦୀ ନୁହଁନ୍ତି, ତାହାହେଲେ କାହିଁକି ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମ ଦେଉଅଛନ୍ତି?
and they questioned him and said to him, “Why, then, do you immerse, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the prophet?”
26 ଯୋହନ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ମୁଁ ଜଳରେ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମ ଦେଉଅଛି; ଯାହାଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣ ନାହିଁ, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବିଦ୍ୟମାନ;
John answered them, saying, “I immerse in water, but in the midst of you has stood He whom you have not known, it is this One who is coming after me, who has been before me,
27 ସେ ମୋʼ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଆସୁଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଦୁକାର ବନ୍ଧନ ଫିଟାଇବାକୁ ମୁଁ ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ।
of whom I am not worthy that I may loose the strap of His sandal.”
28 ଯର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ନଦୀର ପରପାରସ୍ଥ ଯେଉଁ ବେଥନୀୟାରେ ଯୋହନ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମ ଦେଉଥିଲେ, ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଏହିସବୁ ଘଟିଲା।
These things came to pass in Bethabara, beyond the Jordan, where John was immersing.
29 ତହିଁ ଆରଦିନ ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ନିଜ ପାଖକୁ ଆସୁଥିବା ଦେଖି କହିଲେ, ଏହି ଦେଖ, ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ମେଷଶାବକ, ଯେ ଜଗତର ପାପ ବୋହିନେଇଯାଆନ୍ତି।
On the next day John sees Jesus coming to him and says, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who is taking away the sin of the world;
30 ମୋʼ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯେ ଆସୁଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ମୋହର ଅଗ୍ରଗଣ୍ୟ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି, କାରଣ ସେ ମୋହର ପୂର୍ବରେ ଥିଲେ, ଯାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ମୁଁ ଏହା କହିଥିଲି, ସେ ଏହି।
this is He concerning whom I said, After me comes a Man who has come before me, because He was before me:
31 ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଚିହ୍ନି ନ ଥିଲି, କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ଯେପରି ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ଏଥିସକାଶେ ମୁଁ ଜଳରେ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମ ଦେବାକୁ ଆସିଅଛି।
and I did not know Him, but that He might be revealed to Israel, because of this I came immersing in water.”
32 ଆଉ, ଯୋହନ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେଇ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କୁ କପୋତ ପରି ଆକାଶରୁ ଅବତରଣ କରିବା ଦେଖିଅଛି, ଆଉ ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଅବସ୍ଥାନ କଲେ।
And John testified, saying, “I have seen the Spirit coming down out of Heaven as a dove, and [that] One remained on Him;
33 ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଚିହ୍ନି ନ ଥିଲି, ମାତ୍ର ଯେ ମୋତେ ଜଳରେ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମ ଦେବାକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ, ସେ ମୋତେ କହିଲେ, ଯାହାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କୁ ଅବତରଣ ଓ ଅବସ୍ଥାନ କରିବା ଦେଖିବ, ଯେ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାରେ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମ ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ସେ ସେହି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି।
and I did not know Him, but He who sent me to immerse in water, He said to me, On whomsoever you may see the Spirit coming down, and remaining on Him, this is He who is immersing in the Holy Spirit;
34 ଆଉ, ମୁଁ ତାହା ଦେଖିଅଛି ଓ ସେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ବୋଲି ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେଇଅଛି।
and I have seen, and have testified, that this is the Son of God.”
35 ତହିଁ ଆରଦିନ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଯୋହନ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଦୁଇ ଜଣ ଠିଆ ହୋଇଥିଲେ;
On the next day, again, John was standing, and two of his disciples,
36 ଆଉ, ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ସେହି ବାଟ ଦେଇ ଯାଉଥିବା ଦେଖି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଏକଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଚାହିଁ କହିଲେ, ଏହି ଦେଖ, ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ମେଷଶାବକ।
and having looked on Jesus walking, he says, “Behold, the Lamb of God”;
37 ସେହି ଦୁଇ ଜଣ ଶିଷ୍ୟ ତାହାଙ୍କ କଥା ଶୁଣି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଗଲେ।
and the two disciples heard him speaking, and they followed Jesus.
38 ଯୀଶୁ ବୁଲିପଡ଼ି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଆସୁଥିବା ଦେଖି ପଚାରିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କଅଣ ଖୋଜୁଅଛ?” ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ରାବ୍ବୀ (ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଗୁରୁ), ଆପଣ କେଉଁଠାରେ ରୁହନ୍ତି?
And Jesus having turned, and having beheld them following, says to them, “What do you seek?” And they said to Him, “Rabbi” (which is, being interpreted, Teacher), “where do You remain?”
39 ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଆସ, ଦେଖିବ।” ସେଥିରେ ସେମାନେ ଯାଇ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବସା ଦେଖିଲେ, ପୁଣି, ସେହି ଦିନ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ରହିଲେ; କାରଣ ସେତେବେଳେ ପ୍ରାୟ ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ଚାରି ଘଣ୍ଟା ହୋଇଥିଲା।
He says to them, “Come and see”; they came and saw where He remains, and they remained with Him that day and the hour was about the tenth.
40 ଯେଉଁ ଦୁଇ ଜଣ ଯୋହନଙ୍କ କଥା ଶୁଣି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଯାଇଥିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଜଣେ ଶିମୋନ ପିତରଙ୍କ ଭାଇ ଆନ୍ଦ୍ରିୟ ଥିଲେ।
Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, was one of the two who heard from John, and followed Him;
41 ସେ ପ୍ରଥମେ ଆପଣା ଭାଇ ଶିମୋନଙ୍କ ଦେଖା ପାଇ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମସୀହଙ୍କର (ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କୁ) ଦେଖା ପାଇଅଛୁ।
this one first finds his own brother Simon and says to him, “We have found the Messiah,” (which is, being interpreted, Anointed One),
42 ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆଣିଲେ। ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଏକଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଚାହିଁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯୋହନଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଶିମୋନ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ କୈଫା (ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ପିତର) ନାମରେ ଖ୍ୟାତ ହେବ।”
and he brought him to Jesus: and having looked on him, Jesus says, “You are Simon, the son of Jonas, you will be called Cephas,” (which is interpreted, A rock).
43 ତହିଁ ଆରଦିନ ଯୀଶୁ ଗାଲିଲୀକୁ ବାହାରିଯିବା ପାଇଁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କଲେ, ଆଉ ସେ ଫିଲିପ୍ପଙ୍କ ଦେଖା ପାଇ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ମୋହର ଅନୁଗମନ କର।”
On the next day He willed to go forth to Galilee, and He finds Philip and says to him, “Follow Me.”
44 ଫିଲିପ୍ପ ବେଥ୍ସାଇଦାର ଲୋକ ଥିଲେ, ତାହା ଆନ୍ଦ୍ରିୟ ଓ ପିତରଙ୍କର ନଗର ଥିଲା।
And Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and Peter;
45 ଫିଲିପ୍ପ ନିଥନିୟେଲଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖା ପାଇ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଯାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ମୋଶା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାରେ ଲେଖିଅଛନ୍ତି, ପୁଣି, ଭାବବାଦୀମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଲେଖିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଦେଖା ପାଇଅଛୁ; ସେ ଯୋଷେଫଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ନାଜରିତୀୟ ଯୀଶୁ।
Philip finds Nathanael and says to him, “Him of whom Moses wrote in the Law, and the Prophets, we have found, Jesus the Son of Joseph, who [is] from Nazareth!”
46 ନିଥନିୟେଲ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, “ନାଜରିତରୁ କି କୌଣସି ଉତ୍ତମ ବିଷୟ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହୋଇପାରେ?” ଫିଲିପ୍ପ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଆସି ଦେଖ।”
And Nathanael said to him, “Is any good thing able to be out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.”
47 ଯୀଶୁ ନିଥନିୟେଲଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ନିକଟକୁ ଆସୁଥିବା ଦେଖି ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ କହିଲେ, “ଏହି ଦେଖ, ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ଏ ଜଣେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲୀୟ ଲୋକ, ଏହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ଛଳନା ନାହିଁ।”
Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and He says concerning him, “Behold, truly an Israelite, in whom is no guile”;
48 ନିଥନିୟେଲ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ଆପଣ ମୋତେ କିପରି ଚିହ୍ନିଲେ? ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, “ଫିଲିପ୍ପ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଡାକିବା ପୂର୍ବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଡିମ୍ବିରିବୃକ୍ଷ ତଳେ ଥିଲ, ସେତେବେଳେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦେଖିଥିଲି।”
Nathanael says to Him, “From where do You know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip’s calling you, being under the fig tree, I saw you.”
49 ନିଥନିୟେଲ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ହେ ଗୁରୁ ଆପଣ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର, ଆପଣ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା।
Nathanael answered and says to Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God, You are the King of Israel.”
50 ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, “ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଡିମ୍ବିରିବୃକ୍ଷ ତଳେ ଦେଖିଥିଲି ବୋଲି କହିବାରୁ କି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରୁଅଛ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହାଠାରୁ ଆହୁରି ମହତ୍-ମହତ୍ ବିଷୟ ଦେଖିବ।”
Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you, I saw you under the fig tree, you believe; you will see greater things than these”;
51 ପୁଣି, ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ସତ୍ୟ ସତ୍ୟ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗକୁ ଉନ୍ମୁକ୍ତ ଓ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦୂତମାନଙ୍କୁ ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଆରୋହଣ ଓ ଅବତରଣ କରିବା ଦେଖିବ।”
and He says to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, from now on you will see Heaven opened, and the messengers of God going up and coming down on the Son of Man.”
