ଆୟୁବ 6
1 ଏଥିରେ ଆୟୁବ ଉତ୍ତର କରି କହିଲା,
Bvt Iob answered, and said,
2 “ଆହା, ଯଦି ମୋହର ଦୁଃଖ ତୌଲା ଯାଇଥାʼନ୍ତା ଓ ମୋହର ଦୁର୍ଗତି ତରାଜୁରେ ଏକତ୍ର ରଖା ଯାଇଥାʼନ୍ତା!
Oh that my griefe were well weighed, and my miseries were layed together in the balance.
3 ତେବେ ତାହା ଏତେବେଳେ ସମୁଦ୍ର ବାଲିଠାରୁ ଭାରୀ ହୁଅନ୍ତା; ଏଣୁ ମୋହର ବାକ୍ୟ ଅବିବେଚନାଯୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇଅଛି।
For it woulde be nowe heauier then the sande of the sea: therefore my wordes are swallowed vp.
4 କାରଣ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କ ତୀରସବୁ ମୋର ଅନ୍ତରରେ ଅଛି, ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ ତହିଁର ବିଷ ପାନ କରୁଅଛି; ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଭୟରୂପ ସୈନ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଶ୍ରେଣୀବଦ୍ଧ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
For the arrowes of the Almightie are in me, the venime whereof doeth drinke vp my spirit, and the terrours of God fight against me.
5 ଘାସ ଥିଲେ କʼଣ ବନ୍ୟ ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭ ବୋବାଏ? ଆହାର ପାଖରେ କʼଣ ଗୋରୁ ହମାଳେ?
Doeth the wilde asse bray when he hath grasse? or loweth the oxe when he hath fodder?
6 ଅସ୍ୱାଦ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ କʼଣ ଲବଣ ବିନା ଭୋଜନ କରାଯାଇପାରେ? ଅବା ଡିମ୍ବର ଲାଳରେ କି କିଛି ସ୍ୱାଦ ଅଛି?
That which is vnsauerie, shall it be eaten without salt? or is there any taste in the white of an egge?
7 ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ ତାହା ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କରିବାକୁ ଅସମ୍ମତ; ତାହାସବୁ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରତି ଘୃଣିତ ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ସ୍ୱରୂପ।
Such things as my soule refused to touch, as were sorowes, are my meate.
8 ଆହା, ଯେବେ ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ବାଞ୍ଛିତ ବିଷୟ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି; ଯାହା ମୁଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରେ, ତାହା ଯେବେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମୋତେ ଦିଅନ୍ତେ।
Oh that I might haue my desire, and that God would grant me the thing that I long for!
9 ହଁ, ଯେବେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ କରି ମୋତେ ଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରନ୍ତେ; ଯେବେ ସେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ମୁକୁଳା କରି ମୋତେ ଛେଦନ କରି ପକାନ୍ତେ!
That is, that God would destroy me: that he would let his hand go, and cut me off.
10 ତାହାହେଲେ, ଏବେ ହେଁ ମୁଁ ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନାପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି; ହଁ, ମୁଁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୟ ଯାତନା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ହେଁ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି; କାରଣ ମୁଁ ଧର୍ମମୟଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟସବୁ ଅସ୍ୱୀକାର କରି ନାହିଁ।
Then should I yet haue comfort, (though I burne with sorowe, let him not spare) because I haue not denyed the wordes of the Holy one.
11 ମୋହର ବଳ କଅଣ ଯେ, ମୁଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବି? ମୋହର ପରିଣାମ କଅଣ ଯେ, ମୁଁ ସହିଷ୍ଣୁ ହେବି?
What power haue I that I should endure? or what is mine end, if I should prolong my life?
12 ମୋହର ବଳ କʼଣ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରମାନଙ୍କର ବଳ? ଅବା ମୋହର ମାଂସ କʼଣ ପିତ୍ତଳ?
Is my strength the strength of stones? or is my flesh of brasse?
13 ମୋʼ ଦ୍ୱାରା ମୋହର କିଛି ଉପକାର ନାହିଁ ଓ ଫଳଦାୟକ କର୍ମଣ୍ୟତା ମୋʼ ଠାରୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଦୂରୀକୃତ ହୋଇଅଛି, ଏହା କʼଣ ସତ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ?
Is it not so, that there is in me no helpe? and that strength is taken from me?
14 କ୍ଷୀଣ ହେବାକୁ ଉଦ୍ୟତ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରତି, ମଧ୍ୟ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କ ଭୟତ୍ୟାଗୀ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରତି ବନ୍ଧୁଠାରୁ ଦୟା ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେବା ଉଚିତ।
He that is in miserie, ought to be comforted of his neighbour: but men haue forsaken the feare of the Almightie.
15 ମୋହର ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣ ନଦୀ ତୁଲ୍ୟ, ପ୍ରବାହିତ ନଦୀସ୍ରୋତ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚନା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି;
My brethre haue deceiued me as a brook, and as the rising of the riuers they passe away.
16 ତାହାସବୁ ହିମ ସକାଶୁ କୃଷ୍ଣବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁଷାର ଲୀନ ହୁଏ;
Which are blackish with yee, and wherein the snowe is hid.
17 ନଦୀ ଉତ୍ତପ୍ତ ହେଲେ, ତାହା ଲୁପ୍ତ ହୁଏ; ଗ୍ରୀଷ୍ମ ପାଇଲେ ସ୍ୱ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଅନ୍ତର୍ହିତ ହୁଏ।
But in time they are dryed vp with heate and are consumed: and when it is hote they faile out of their places,
18 ପଥିକ ଦଳ ତହିଁ ନିକଟ ଦେଇ ଯାତ୍ରା କରିବା ବେଳେ ପଥ ଛାଡ଼ନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ମରୁଭୂମିକୁ ଯାଇ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
Or they depart from their way and course, yea, they vanish and perish.
19 ତେମାର ପଥିକ ଦଳ ଅନ୍ଵେଷଣ କଲେ, ଶିବାର ଯାତ୍ରୀ ଦଳ ତହିଁ ପାଇଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କଲେ।
They that go to Tema, considered them, and they that goe to Sheba, waited for them.
20 ସେମାନେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଶା କରିଥିବା ସକାଶୁ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେଲେ; ସେମାନେ ସେଠାରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୋଇ ଘାବରା ହେଲେ।
But they were confounded: when they hoped, they came thither and were ashamed.
21 ଦେଖ, ଏବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କିଛି ନୁହଁ; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିପତ୍ତି ଦେଖି ଭୀତ ହେଉଅଛ।
Surely nowe are ye like vnto it: ye haue seene my fearefull plague, and are afraide.
22 ‘ମୋତେ କିଛି ଦିଅ,’ ଅବା ‘ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତିରୁ ମୋʼ ପାଇଁ ଉପହାର ଯାଚ,’
Was it because I said, Bring vnto me? or giue a rewarde to me of your substance?
23 କିଅବା ‘ବିପକ୍ଷ ହସ୍ତରୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର,’ ଅଥବା ‘ଉପଦ୍ରବୀମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ମୋତେ ମୁକ୍ତ କର, ଏହା କି ମୁଁ କହିଲି?’
And deliuer me from the enemies hande, or ransome me out of the hand of tyrants?
24 ମୋତେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଅ, ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ନୀରବ ହେବି ଓ ମୁଁ କେଉଁ ବିଷୟରେ ଭୁଲିଗଲି, ତାହା ମୋତେ ବୁଝାଇ ଦିଅ।
Teach me, and I wil hold my tongue: and cause me to vnderstande, wherein I haue erred.
25 ସରଳ ବାକ୍ୟ କିପରି ପ୍ରବଳ! ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ତର୍କ କେଉଁ ଦୋଷ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତ କରେ?
Howe stedfast are the wordes of righteousnes? and what can any of you iustly reproue?
26 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କʼଣ ଶବ୍ଦର ଦୋଷ ଧରିବାକୁ କଳ୍ପନା କରୁଅଛ? କାରଣ ନିରାଶ ଲୋକର ବାକ୍ୟ ବାୟୁ ତୁଲ୍ୟ।
Doe ye imagine to reproue wordes, that the talke of the afflicted should be as the winde?
27 ହଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପିତୃହୀନ ପାଇଁ ଗୁଲିବାଣ୍ଟ କରିବ ଓ ଆପଣା ବନ୍ଧୁକୁ ବାଣିଜ୍ୟ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ କରିବ।
Ye make your wrath to fall vpon the fatherlesse, and dig a pit for your friende.
28 ଏହେତୁ ଏବେ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ କରି ମୋʼ ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଷ୍ଟି କର; କାରଣ ମୁଁ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମୁଖ ଆଗରେ ମିଥ୍ୟା କହିବି ନାହିଁ।
Nowe therefore be content to looke vpon me: for I will not lie before your face.
29 ମୁଁ ବିନୟ କରୁଅଛି, ଫେର, କୌଣସି ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ନ ହେଉ; ହଁ, ପୁନର୍ବାର ଫେର, ମୋହର ଗୁହାରି ଯଥାର୍ଥ।
Turne, I pray you, let there be none iniquitie: returne, I say, and ye shall see yet my righteousnesse in that behalfe.
30 ମୋʼ ଜିହ୍ୱାରେ କʼଣ ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ଅଛି? ମୋହର ରସନେନ୍ଦ୍ରିୟ କʼଣ ଅନିଷ୍ଟ ବିଷୟ ବାରି ନ ପାରେ?
Is there iniquitie in my tongue? doeth not my mouth feele sorowes?
