ଆୟୁବ 41
1 ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ବନଶୀ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଲିବିୟାଥନକୁ ଓଟାରି ପାର? ଅବା ରଜ୍ଜୁରେ ତାହାର ଜିହ୍ୱା ତଳକୁ ଚାପିପାର?
Canst thou draw forth the crocodile with a hook, Or press down his tongue with a cord?
2 ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ତାହାର ନାସାରେ ଦଉଡ଼ି ଦେଇ ପାର? ଅବା ଅଙ୍କୁଶରେ ତାହାର ଥୋମଣି ଫୋଡ଼ିପାର?
Canst thou put a rope into his nose, Or pierce his cheek with a hook?
3 ସେ କି ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ଅନେକ ବିନତି କରିବ? ଅବା ସେ କି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କୋମଳ କଥା କହିବ?
Will he make many entreaties to thee? Will he speak soft words to thee?
4 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ଚିରକାଳ ଦାସ କରି ରଖିବା ପାଇଁ ସେ କି ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗେ ନିୟମ କରିବ?
Will he make a covenant with thee? Canst thou take him for a servant for ever?
5 ପକ୍ଷୀ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଖେଳିଲା ପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ଖେଳିବ? ଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ଆପଣା ବାଳିକାମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହାକୁ ବାନ୍ଧି ରଖିବ?
Canst thou play with him, as with a bird? Or canst thou bind him for thy maidens?
6 ମତ୍ସ୍ୟଧାରୀଦଳ କି ତାହାକୁ ବାଣିଜ୍ୟ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ କରିବେ? ସେମାନେ କି ବଣିକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତାହାକୁ ଭାଗବିଭାଗ କରିବେ?
Do men in company lay snares for him? Do they divide him among the merchants?
7 ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ଲୌହ ଅଙ୍କୁଶରେ ତାହାର ଚର୍ମ, ଅବା ତେଣ୍ଟାରେ ତାହାର ମସ୍ତକ ବିନ୍ଧିପାର?
Canst thou fill his skirt with barbed irons, Or his head with fish-spears?
8 ତାହା ଉପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ହସ୍ତକ୍ଷେପ କର; ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ସ୍ମରଣ କର, ପୁଣି ସେପରି ଆଉ କର ନାହିଁ।
Do but lay thy hand upon him, —Thou wilt no more think of battle!
9 ଦେଖ, ତାହା ବିଷୟକ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଶା ବୃଥା; କେହି ତାହାକୁ ଦେଖିବାମାତ୍ର କି ତଳେ ପଡ଼ିଯିବ ନାହିଁ?
Behold, his hope is vain! Is he not cast down at the very sight of him?
10 ତାହାକୁ ଯେ ଜଗାଇବ, ଏପରି ସାହସିକ କେହି ନାହିଁ; ତେବେ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ କିଏ ଛିଡ଼ା ହୋଇପାରେ?
None is so fierce that he dare stir him up; Who then is he that can stand before me?
11 କିଏ ଆଗେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଦେଇଅଛି ଯେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ପରିଶୋଧ କରିବା? ସମୁଦାୟ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳ ତଳେ ଯାହା କିଛି ଅଛି, ସବୁ ହିଁ ଆମ୍ଭର।
Who hath done me a favor, that I must repay him? Whatever is under the whole heaven is mine.
12 ତାହାର ଅଙ୍ଗପ୍ରତ୍ୟଙ୍ଗ, ଅବା ମହାପରାକ୍ରମ, ଅବା ତାହାର ସୁନ୍ଦର ଗଠନ ବିଷୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ନୀରବ ରହିବା ନାହିଁ।
I will not be silent concerning his limbs, And his strength, and the beauty of his armor.
13 ତାହାର ବାହାର ବସ୍ତ୍ର କିଏ କାଢ଼ିପାରେ? କିଏ ତାହାର ଦନ୍ତଶ୍ରେଣୀଦ୍ୱୟ ମଧ୍ୟକୁ ଆସିବ?
Who can uncover the surface of his garment? Who will approach his jaws?
14 କିଏ ତାହାର ମୁଖରୁ କବାଟ ଫିଟାଇପାରେ? ତାହାର ଦନ୍ତର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ତ୍ରାସ ଥାଏ।
Who will open the doors of his face? The rows of his teeth are terrible!
15 ତାହାର ଶକ୍ତ କାତିସବୁ ତାହାର ଦର୍ପର ବିଷୟ, ତାହା ଦୃଢ଼ ରୂପେ ମୋହରାଙ୍କିତ ହେଲା ପରି ଏକତ୍ର ବନ୍ଦ ହୋଇଅଛି।
His glory is his strong shields, United with each other, as with a close seal.
16 ଏକଆରେକର ଏତେ ନିକଟ ଯେ, ବାୟୁ ତହିଁରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିପାରେ ନାହିଁ।
They are joined one to another, So that no air can come between them.
17 ତାହାସବୁ ପରସ୍ପର ସଂଯୁକ୍ତ; ତାହାସବୁ ଏପରି ଏକତ୍ର ଲାଗି ରହିଅଛି ଯେ, ଭିନ୍ନ କରାଯାଇପାରେ ନାହିଁ।
They cleave fast to each other, They hold together, and cannot be separated.
18 ତାହାର ଛିଙ୍କରୁ ଆଲୁଅ ଝଟକେ ଓ ତାହାର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଅରୁଣର ଚକ୍ଷୁପତା ସଦୃଶ।
His sneezing sendeth forth light, And his eyes are like the eyelashes of the morning.
19 ତାହାର ମୁଖରୁ ଜ୍ୱଳନ୍ତ ମଶାଲ ନିର୍ଗତ ହୁଏ ଓ ଅଗ୍ନିକଣା ଉଡ଼େ।
Out of his mouth go flames, And sparks of fire leap forth.
20 ଯେପରି ରନ୍ଧାହାଣ୍ଡିରୁ ଓ ଜ୍ୱଳନ୍ତ ତୃଣରୁ, ସେପରି ତାହାର ନାସାରନ୍ଧ୍ରରୁ ଧୂମ ନିର୍ଗତ ହୁଏ।
From his nostrils issueth smoke, as from a heated pot, or caldron.
21 ତାହାର ନିଶ୍ୱାସ ଅଙ୍ଗାର ଜ୍ୱଳାଏ ଓ ତାହାର ମୁଖରୁ ଅଗ୍ନିଶିଖା ନିର୍ଗତ ହୁଏ।
His breath kindleth coals, And flames issue from his mouth.
22 ତାହାର ଗ୍ରୀବାରେ ଶକ୍ତି ଅବସ୍ଥିତି କରେ ଓ ତାହା ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ତ୍ରାସ ନୃତ୍ୟ କରେ।
In his neck dwelleth strength, And terror danceth before him.
23 ତାହାର ମାଂସର ପରସ୍ତ ଏକତ୍ର ସଂଯୁକ୍ତ ଥାଏ; ତାହାସବୁ ତାହା ଉପରେ ଦୃଢ଼ବଦ୍ଧ ଥାଏ; ତାହାସବୁ ଘୁଞ୍ଚାଯାଇ ପାରେ ନାହିଁ।
The flakes of his flesh cleave fast together; They are firm upon him, and cannot be moved.
24 ତାହାର ହୃଦୟ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ପରି ଦୃଢ଼ ଓ ଚକିର ତଳପଟ ପରି ଦୃଢ଼।
His heart is solid like a stone; Yea, solid like the nether millstone.
25 ସେ ଉଠିଲେ, ବିକ୍ରମୀମାନେ ଭୟଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି; ଭୟ ସକାଶୁ ସେମାନେ ହତବୁଦ୍ଧି ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
When he riseth up, the mighty are afraid; Yea, they lose themselves for terror.
26 କେହି ତାହା ଉପରେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଲଗାଇଲେ, କିଛି ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ; ବର୍ଚ୍ଛା, ଶୂଳ କି ତୀକ୍ଷ୍ଣ ତୀର ବିଫଳ ହୁଏ।
The sword of him that assaileth him doth not stand, The spear, the dart, nor the habergeon.
27 ସେ ଲୁହାକୁ କୁଟା ପରି ଓ ପିତ୍ତଳକୁ ସଢ଼ା କାଠ କରି ଗଣେ।
He regardeth iron as straw, And brass as rotten wood.
28 ତୀର ତାହାକୁ ତଡ଼ାଇ ପାରେ ନାହିଁ ଓ ଛାଟିଣୀ ପଥର ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ନଡ଼ା ପରି ହୁଏ।
The arrow cannot make him flee; Sling-stones to him become stubble;
29 ଗଦା ତୃଣ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଗଣିତ ହୁଏ; ବର୍ଚ୍ଛା ବଳରେ ଆସିବା ବେଳେ ସେ ହସେ।
Clubs are accounted by him as straw; He laugheth at the shaking of the spear.
30 ତାହାର ନିମ୍ନଭାଗ ତୀକ୍ଷ୍ଣ ଖପରା ପରି; ସେ କାଦୁଅ ଉପରେ କଣ୍ଟାର ମଇ ଚଳାଏ।
Under him are sharp potsherds; He spreadeth out a thrashing-sledge upon the mire.
31 ସେ ଗଭୀର ଜଳକୁ ହାଣ୍ଡି ଜଳ ପରି ଫୁଟାଏ; ସେ ସମୁଦ୍ରକୁ ଲେପ ପରି କରେ।
He maketh the deep to boil like a caldron; He maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
32 ସେ ଆପଣା ପଛେ ପଛେ ପଥ ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ୱଳ କରେ; କେହି ମନେ କରିପାରେ, ଜଳଧି ପକ୍ୱକେଶ ହେଲା;
Behind him he leaveth a shining path; One would think the deep to be hoary.
33 ପୃଥିବୀରେ ତାହା ପରି ଭୟରହିତ ହୋଇ କେହି ସୃଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇ ନାହିଁ।
Upon the earth there is not his master; He is made without fear.
34 ସେ ସକଳ ଉଚ୍ଚ ବିଷୟ ଦେଖେ, ସେ ଯାବତୀୟ ଗର୍ବର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଉପରେ ରାଜା ଅଟେ।”
He looketh down upon all that is high; He is king over all the sons of pride.
