ଆୟୁବ 40
1 ଆହୁରି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆୟୁବକୁ ଉତ୍ତର କରି କହିଲେ,
Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said:
2 “ଦୋଷାନ୍ଵେଷୀ ଲୋକ କି ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବିବାଦ କରିବ? ଯେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯୁକ୍ତି କରେ, ସେ ଏଥିର ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଉ।”
Shall he that reproveth contend with the Almighty? He that argueth with God, let him answer it.
3 ତହୁଁ ଆୟୁବ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇ କହିଲା,
Then Job answered the LORD, and said:
4 “ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ଅକିଞ୍ଚନା; ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବି? ମୁଁ ନିଜ ମୁଖରେ ଆପଣା ହାତ ଦିଏ।
Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer Thee? I lay my hand upon my mouth.
5 ମୁଁ ଥରେ କଥା କହିଅଛି, ପୁଣି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବି ନାହିଁ; ହଁ, ଦୁଇ ଥର କହିଅଛି, ମାତ୍ର ଆଉ ଅଧିକ ବଢ଼ିବି ନାହିଁ।”
Once have I spoken, but I will not answer again; yea, twice, but I will proceed no further.
6 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଘୂର୍ଣ୍ଣିବାୟୁ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଆୟୁବକୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇ କହିଲେ,
Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:
7 “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବୀର ପରି ଆପଣା କଟି ବାନ୍ଧ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କରିବା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ବୁଝାଇ ଦିଅ।
Gird up thy loins now like a man; I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto Me.
8 ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ଆମ୍ଭର ବିଚାର ବ୍ୟର୍ଥ କରିବ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଗଣିତ ହେବା ପାଇଁ କି ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଦୋଷୀ କରିବ?
Wilt thou even make void My judgment? Wilt thou condemn Me, that thou mayest be justified?
9 ଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭର ବାହୁ କି ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବାହୁ ତୁଲ୍ୟ? ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ତାହାଙ୍କ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ରବ କରି ଗର୍ଜ୍ଜନ କରିପାର?
Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like Him?
10 ତେବେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରାଧାନ୍ୟ ଓ ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱରେ ବିଭୂଷିତ ହୁଅ; ପୁଣି, ସମ୍ଭ୍ରମ ଓ ପ୍ରତାପ ପରିଧାନ କର।
Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency, and array thyself with glory and beauty.
11 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଉଚ୍ଛଳିତ କ୍ରୋଧ ଢାଳି ପକାଅ ଓ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଅହଙ୍କାରୀକୁ ଅନାଇ ତାହାକୁ ନତ କର।
Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath; and look upon every one that is proud, and abase him.
12 ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଗର୍ବୀକୁ ଅନାଇ ତାହାକୁ ନତ କର; ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଠିଆ ହେବା ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଦଳି ପକାଅ।
Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
13 ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ର ଧୂଳିରେ ଲୁଚାଇ ଦିଅ; ଗୁପ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମୁଖ ବାନ୍ଧି ପକାଅ।
Hide them in the dust together; bind their faces in the hidden place.
14 ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିପାରେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ହିଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିଷୟରେ ଏହା ସ୍ୱୀକାର କରିବା।
Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.
15 ବହେମୋତକୁ ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗେ ତାହାକୁ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଅଛୁ; ସେ ଗୋରୁ ପରି ତୃଣ ଖାଏ।
Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
16 ଦେଖ, ତାହାର କଟିଦେଶରେ ତାହାର ବଳ ଥାଏ ଓ ତାହାର ଉଦରସ୍ଥ ପେଶୀରେ ତାହାର ଶକ୍ତି ଥାଏ।
Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the stays of his body.
17 ସେ ଏରସ ବୃକ୍ଷ ପରି ଆପଣା ଲାଙ୍ଗୁଳ ହଲାଏ; ତାହାର ଊରୁଦେଶର ଶିରାସବୁ ଏକତ୍ର ସଂଯୁକ୍ତ।
He straineth his tail like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are knit together.
18 ତାହାର ଅସ୍ଥିସବୁ ପିତ୍ତଳର ନଳ ପରି; ତାହାର ଅଙ୍ଗପ୍ରତ୍ୟଙ୍ଗ ଲୁହାର ଅର୍ଗଳ ପରି।
His bones are as pipes of brass; his gristles are like bars of iron.
19 ସେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅଗ୍ରଗଣ୍ୟ; ଯେ ତାହାକୁ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କଲେ, କେବଳ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଖଡ୍ଗ ତାହାକୁ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କରିପାରେ।
He is the beginning of the ways of God; He only that made him can make His sword to approach unto him.
20 ଆହୁରି, ପର୍ବତଗଣ ତାହା ପାଇଁ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ କରନ୍ତି, ସେଠାରେ ବନ୍ୟ ପଶୁ ସମସ୍ତେ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ା କରନ୍ତି।
Surely the mountains bring him forth food, and all the beasts of the field play there.
21 ସେ ନଳବନ ଭିତରେ ଓ ଝିଲରେ ପଦ୍ମବୃକ୍ଷ ତଳେ ଶୟନ କରେ।
He lieth under the lotus-trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
22 ପଦ୍ମବୃକ୍ଷ ଆପଣା ଛାୟାରେ ତାହାକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛନ୍ନ କରେ; ନଦୀର ବାଇଶୀ ବୃକ୍ଷ ତାହାର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ଥାଏ।
The lotus-trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
23 ଦେଖ, ନଦୀ ବଢ଼ିଲେ, ସେ କମ୍ପିତ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ; ଯର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ତାହାର ମୁଖ ସରିକି ବଢ଼ିଲେ ହେଁ ସେ ସୁସ୍ଥିର ଥାଏ।
Behold, if a river overflow, he trembleth not; he is confident, though the Jordan rush forth to his mouth.
24 ସେ ଜାଗ୍ରତ ଥିବା ବେଳେ କେହି କି ତାକୁ ଧରିବ? ଅବା ରଜ୍ଜୁ ଦ୍ୱାରା ତାହାର ନାସିକା ଫୋଡ଼ିବ?
Shall any take him by his eyes, or pierce through his nose with a snare?
