ଆୟୁବ 37
1 ଏଥିରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋହର ହୃଦୟ କମ୍ପମାନ ହେଉଅଛି ଓ ସ୍ୱ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଅନ୍ତରିତ ହେଉଅଛି।
At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place.
2 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ରବର ଶବ୍ଦ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ମୁଖନିର୍ଗତ ସ୍ୱର ଶୁଣ।
Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound [that] goeth out of his mouth.
3 ସେ ତାହା ସମୁଦାୟ ଆକାଶର ଅଧଃସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଓ ଆପଣା ବିଜୁଳିକୁ ପୃଥିବୀର ପ୍ରାନ୍ତ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପ୍ରେରଣ କରନ୍ତି।
He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.
4 ତହିଁ ପଛେ ଏକ ରବ ଗର୍ଜ୍ଜନ କରଇ, ସେ ଆପଣା ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱର ରବରେ ବଜ୍ରନାଦ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ରବ ଶୁଣାଗଲା ବେଳେ ସେ ତାହାସବୁ ନିବୃତ୍ତ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.
5 ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆପଣା ରବରେ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ ରୂପେ ଗର୍ଜ୍ଜନ କରନ୍ତି; ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବୋଧର ଅଗମ୍ୟ ମହତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରନ୍ତି।
God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
6 କାରଣ ସେ ହିମକୁ କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ପଡ଼; ସେ ସାମାନ୍ୟ ବୃଷ୍ଟିକୁ ଓ ଆପଣାର ପ୍ରବଳ ବୃଷ୍ଟିକୁ ସେହିପରି କହନ୍ତି।
For he saith to the snow, Be thou [on] the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.
7 ଯେପରି ତାହାଙ୍କର ସୃଷ୍ଟ ସମସ୍ତ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ତାହା ଜାଣି ପାରିବେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ହସ୍ତ ମୋହରାଙ୍କିତ କରନ୍ତି।
He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.
8 ସେତେବେଳେ ପଶୁମାନେ ଆଶ୍ରୟ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଯାʼନ୍ତି ଓ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଗହ୍ୱରରେ ରହନ୍ତି।
Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places.
9 ଦକ୍ଷିଣସ୍ଥ ମଣ୍ଡଳରୁ ବତାସ ଆସେ ଓ ଉତ୍ତରରୁ ଶୀତ ଆସେ।
Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north.
10 ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିଶ୍ୱାସରେ ହିମାନୀ ଜନ୍ମେ ଓ ଜଳରାଶିର ବିସ୍ତୃତି ସଂକୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୁଏ।
By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
11 ଆହୁରି, ସେ ନିବିଡ଼ ମେଘକୁ ଆର୍ଦ୍ରତାରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରନ୍ତି; ସେ ଆପଣା ବିଜୁଳିର ମେଘ ବିସ୍ତାର କରନ୍ତି।
Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:
12 ଆଉ, ସେ ଯାହା କିଛି ଆଜ୍ଞା କରନ୍ତି, ତାହା ବାସଯୋଗ୍ୟ ଭୂମଣ୍ଡଳରେ ସାଧନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଚାଳନ ଦ୍ୱାରା ତାହା ଘୂରେ।
And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.
13 ଦଣ୍ଡ ନିମନ୍ତେ, ବା ଆପଣା ଦେଶ ନିମନ୍ତେ, ଅଥବା ଦୟା ନିମନ୍ତେ ହେଉ, ସେ ତାହା ଘଟାନ୍ତି।
He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.
14 ହେ ଆୟୁବ, ଏଥିରେ କର୍ଣ୍ଣପାତ କର; ସ୍ଥିର ହୋଇ ଠିଆ ହୁଅ ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରିୟାସବୁ ବିବେଚନା କର।
Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
15 ପରମେଶ୍ୱର କିପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଆପଣା ଆଜ୍ଞାଭାର ଥୁଅନ୍ତି ଓ ଆପଣା ମେଘର ବିଜୁଳିକୁ ଦୀପ୍ତିମାନ କରନ୍ତି, ଏହା କି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣ?
Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?
16 ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ମେଘମାଳର ସମତୌଲ, ପରମ ଜ୍ଞାନୀଙ୍କର ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରିୟାସବୁ ଜାଣ?
Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
17 ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ବାୟୁ ସକାଶୁ ପୃଥିବୀ ସ୍ତବ୍ଧ ଥିବା ବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବସ୍ତ୍ର କିପରି ଉଷ୍ଣ ହୁଏ?
How thy garments [are] warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south [wind]?
18 ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ଛାଞ୍ଚରେ ଢଳା ଦର୍ପଣ ପରି ଦୃଢ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳକୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବିସ୍ତାର କରିପାର?
Hast thou with him spread out the sky, [which is] strong, [and] as a molten looking glass?
19 ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କଅଣ କହିବା, ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶିଖାଅ; କାରଣ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ସକାଶୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣା କଥା ସଜାଇ ପାରୁ ନାହୁଁ।
Teach us what we shall say unto him; [for] we cannot order [our speech] by reason of darkness.
20 ମୁଁ କଥା କହିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରେ ବୋଲି କି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କୁହାଯିବ? ଅବା କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ କି ଗ୍ରାସି ହୋଇ ଯିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରିବ?
Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.
21 ପୁଣି, ଏତେବେଳେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଆକାଶସ୍ଥ ତେଜସ୍କର ଦୀପ୍ତି ଦେଖନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ବାୟୁ ବହି ତାହା ପରିଷ୍କାର କରେ।
And now [men] see not the bright light which [is] in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
22 ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଗରୁ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣମୟ ଆଭା ଆସେ; ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କଠାରେ ଭୟାନକ ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱ ଥାଏ।
Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God [is] terrible majesty.
23 ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର! ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ପାଇ ନ ପାରୁ; ସେ ପରାକ୍ରମରେ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ; ପୁଣି, ସେ ବିଚାର ଓ ପ୍ରଚୁର ନ୍ୟାୟଗୁଣ ହେତୁ କ୍ଳେଶ ଦେବେ ନାହିଁ।
[Touching] the Almighty, we cannot find him out: [he is] excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
24 ଏଣୁ ନରଗଣ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରନ୍ତି; ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣରେ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ମୁଖାପେକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।”
Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any [that are] wise of heart.
