ଆୟୁବ 36
1 ଇଲୀହୂ ଆହୁରି କହିଲା,
Then continued Elihu, and said,
2 “ଟିକିଏ ସମ୍ଭାଳ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜଣାଇବି; କାରଣ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ ମୋହର ଆହୁରି କିଛି କହିବାର ଅଛି।
Wait for me a little, and I will instruct thee; for [I have] still some words on God's behalf.
3 ମୁଁ ଦୂରରୁ ଆପଣା ଜ୍ଞାନ ଆଣିବି ଓ ଆପଣା ସୃଷ୍ଟିକର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କର ଧାର୍ମିକତା ପ୍ରତିପନ୍ନ କରିବି;
I will lift up my knowledge for him who is afar, and for my Maker will I obtain righteousness.
4 କାରଣ ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ମୋହର କଥା ମିଥ୍ୟା ନୁହେଁ। ଜ୍ଞାନରେ ସିଦ୍ଧ ଜଣେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଅଛି।
For truly no falsehood is [in] my words: one that is upright in [his] opinions [dealeth now] with thee.
5 ଦେଖ, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ପରାକ୍ରମୀ ଓ କାହାକୁ ତୁଚ୍ଛ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ; ସେ ବୁଦ୍ଧିବଳରେ ପରାକ୍ରମୀ ଅଟନ୍ତି।
Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength of intellect.
6 ସେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ପ୍ରାଣ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ଦୁଃଖଗ୍ରସ୍ତମାନଙ୍କୁ ନ୍ୟାୟ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରନ୍ତି।
He permitteth not the wicked to live; but he procureth justice for the afflicted.
7 ସେ ଧାର୍ମିକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆପଣା ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ଫେରାନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ସେ ସିଂହାସନୋପବିଷ୍ଟ ରାଜାଗଣ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ସଦାକାଳ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ସେମାନେ ଉନ୍ନତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous; but [he placeth them] with kings on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.
8 ପୁଣି, ଯଦି ସେମାନେ ଜଞ୍ଜିରରେ ବନ୍ଧାଯାʼନ୍ତି ଓ ଦୁଃଖରୂପ ରଜ୍ଜୁରେ ଧରାଯାʼନ୍ତି,
And if they be bound in fetters, and if they be entangled in the cords of affliction:
9 ତେବେ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର କ୍ରିୟା, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଅପରାଧ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗର୍ବାଚରଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖାନ୍ତି।
Then doth he tell them of their work, and of their transgressions, when they had become strong.
10 ମଧ୍ୟ ଶିକ୍ଷା ପ୍ରତି ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମୁକ୍ତ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଅଧର୍ମରୁ ଫେରିବା ପାଇଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦିଅନ୍ତି।
And he openeth thus their ear to correction, and saith that they should return from wrong-doing.
11 ଯଦି ସେମାନେ ଶୁଣି ତାହାଙ୍କର ସେବା କରିବେ, ତେବେ ସେମାନେ ସମୃଦ୍ଧିରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଦିନ ଓ ସୁଖରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ବର୍ଷ କ୍ଷେପଣ କରିବେ।
If they hearken and serve [him], they will spend their days in happiness, and their years in pleasures.
12 ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ନ ଶୁଣିଲେ, ଖଡ୍ଗରେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହେବେ ଓ ଜ୍ଞାନବର୍ଜ୍ଜିତ ହୋଇ ମରିବେ।
But if they hearken not, they will pass away through the sword, and they will perish in want of knowledge.
13 ମାତ୍ର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣରେ ଅଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନେ କ୍ରୋଧ ସଞ୍ଚୟ କରନ୍ତି; ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାନ୍ଧିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ପାଇଁ ଡାକ ପକାନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
But the hypocrites in heart persevere in wrath; they will not offer entreaty when he bindeth them:
14 ସେମାନେ ଯୌବନ କାଳରେ ମରନ୍ତି ଓ ଅଶୁଚି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଜୀବନ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହୁଏ।
Their soul will die in youth, and their life, among the incestuous.
15 ସେ ଦୁଃଖୀଲୋକକୁ ତାହାର ଦୁଃଖ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଉପଦ୍ରବ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନଙ୍କର କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମୁକ୍ତ କରନ୍ତି।
He delivereth the afflicted through his affliction, and openeth through oppression his ear.
16 ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ହିଁ ଦୁଃଖରୁ ବାହାର କରି ସଙ୍କୀର୍ଣ୍ଣତାରହିତ ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ନେଇଯାଆନ୍ତେ; ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମେଜ ଉପରେ ସଜ୍ଜିତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ମେଦପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୁଅନ୍ତା।
And also thee hath he incited away from the jaws of distress into a wide space, on the site of which there is no straitness; and what is set on thy table is full of fatness.
17 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ବିଚାରରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଅଛ; ବିଚାର ଓ ଶାସ୍ତି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଧରିଅଛି।
But if thou art full of the judgment of the wicked: [divine] judgment and decree will support each other.
18 କୋପ ଅଛି, ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରଚୁରତା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ନ ହୁଅ; କିଅବା ପ୍ରାୟଶ୍ଚିତ୍ତର ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନ ଭୁଲାଏ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସାବଧାନ।
For there would be fury, If aught were to incite thee to utter an abundance [of rebellious words]; and the greatness of the infliction must not mislead thee.
19 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେପରି ଦୁଃଖଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ନୋହିବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଧନ ଓ ବଳର ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରତାପ କି ପ୍ରଚୁର ହେବ?
Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold ore, nor all the highest forces of strength.
20 ଯେଉଁ ରାତ୍ରିରେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନେ ସ୍ୱ ସ୍ୱ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ସେହି ରାତ୍ରି ବାଞ୍ଛା କର ନାହିଁ।
Desire then not eagerly the night, when nations pass away in their place.
21 ସାବଧାନ, ଅଧର୍ମକୁ ଆଦର କର ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦୁଃଖଭୋଗ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଏହା ହିଁ ମନୋନୀତ କରିଅଛ।
Take heed, turn not thyself to wrong-doing, so that thou wouldst choose this because of [thy] affliction.
22 ଦେଖ, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆପଣା ପରାକ୍ରମରେ ଉଚ୍ଚ ଭାବରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରନ୍ତି; ତାହାଙ୍କ ପରି ଶିକ୍ଷକ କିଏ ଅଛି?
Behold, God is exalted by his power: who is an instructer like him?
23 କିଏ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଗନ୍ତବ୍ୟ ପଥ ନିରୂପଣ କରିଅଛି? ଅବା କିଏ କହିପାରେ, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅଧର୍ମ କରିଅଛ?’
Who hath given him a charge concerning his way? or who hath ever said, Thou hast acted unjustly?
24 ତାହାଙ୍କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟର ମାହାତ୍ମ୍ୟ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବାକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କର, ଲୋକମାନେ ତହିଁର କୀର୍ତ୍ତନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
Reflect, that thou shouldst magnify his work, which [other] men have beheld.
25 ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ତହିଁ ପ୍ରତି ନିରୀକ୍ଷଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଦୂରରୁ ତାହା ଦେଖେ।
All men have looked at it [with astonishment]; the mortal gazeth at it from afar.
26 ଦେଖ, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମହାନ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣୁ ନାହୁଁ; ତାହାଙ୍କ ବର୍ଷର ସଂଖ୍ୟା ଅନନୁସନ୍ଧେୟ।
Behold, God is great, and we comprehend him not, the number of his years can truly not be searched out.
27 କାରଣ ସେ ଜଳବିନ୍ଦୁସବୁ ଆକର୍ଷଣ କରନ୍ତି, ତାହା ବୃଷ୍ଟି ରୂପେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବାଷ୍ପରୁ ପଡ଼େ।
For he taketh away drops of water, which are purified into rain in his mist:
28 ଆକାଶ ତାହା ଢାଳି ଦିଏ ଓ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଉପରେ ତାହା ବହୁଳ ରୂପେ ବର୍ଷେ।
These drop down out of the skies; they distil upon the multitude of men.
29 ମେଘମାଳର ପ୍ରସାରଣ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ରାତପର ଗର୍ଜ୍ଜନ କି କେହି ବୁଝିପାରେ?
But [what man] can understand the outspreadings of the clouds? the tumult of his tabernacle?
30 ଦେଖ, ସେ ଆପଣା ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ନିଜ ଦୀପ୍ତି ବିସ୍ତାର କରନ୍ତି; ପୁଣି, ସେ ସମୁଦ୍ରର ତଳଭାଗ ଆବୃତ କରନ୍ତି।
Behold, he spreadeth out over it his light, and covereth up the roots of the sea.
31 କାରଣ ସେ ଏସବୁ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀବର୍ଗର ଶାସନ କରନ୍ତି; ସେ ବହୁଳ ପରିମାଣରେ ଆହାର ଦିଅନ୍ତି।
For by means of them he judgeth nations, he giveth food in superfluity.
32 ସେ ବିଜୁଳିରେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ସ୍ଥଳ ଆଘାତ କରିବାକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦିଅନ୍ତି।
[His] hands he covereth with light; and he commandeth it to strike the one who striveth against him.
33 ତହିଁର ଶବ୍ଦ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ପରିଚୟ ଦିଏ, ପଶୁପଲ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆଗାମୀ ତୋଫାନ ବିଷୟ ଜଣାନ୍ତି।
The noise of his storm telleth of it, yea, the cattle also, of the rising tempest.
