ଆୟୁବ 33
1 ଯାହାହେଉ, ବିନୟ କରୁଅଛି, ହେ ଆୟୁବ, ମୋʼ କଥା ଶୁଣ ଓ ମୋହର ସମସ୍ତ ବାକ୍ୟରେ କର୍ଣ୍ଣପାତ କର।
Now listen to me, Job. Pay attention to everything I have to say.
2 ଏବେ ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ଫିଟାଉଅଛି, ମୋʼ ଜିହ୍ୱା ମୋʼ ମୁଖ ଭିତରେ କଥା କହିଅଛି।
Look, I'm about to speak; my mouth is ready to talk.
3 ମୋʼ ବାକ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣର ସରଳତା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବ ଓ ମୋହର ଓଷ୍ଠାଧର ଯାହା ଜାଣେ, ତାହା ସରଳ ଭାବରେ କହିବ।
My words come from my upright heart; my lips speak sincerely of what I know.
4 ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆତ୍ମା ମୋତେ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କ ନିଶ୍ୱାସ ମୋତେ ଜୀବନ ଦିଅନ୍ତି।
The spirit of God made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
5 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପାରିଲେ, ମୋତେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଅ, ମୋʼ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଆପଣା ବାକ୍ୟ ସଜାଇ ଠିଆ ହୁଅ।
Answer me, if you can. Stand in front of me and prepare to defend yourself.
6 ଦେଖ, ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେପରି, ମୁଁ ସେପରି ଅଟେ, ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୃତ୍ତିକାରୁ ନିର୍ମିତ ହୋଇଅଛି।
Look, before God we are both the same. I was also made from a piece of clay.
7 ଦେଖ, ମୋହର ଭୟାନକତା ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଭୀତ କରିବ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ମୋହର ଭାର ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ଭାରୀ ହେବ ନାହିଁ।
See here, you don't need to be frightened of me. I won't be too hard on you.
8 ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର କର୍ଣ୍ଣଗୋଚରରେ କହିଅଛ ଓ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବାକ୍ୟର ରବ ଶୁଣିଅଛି, ଯଥା,
You spoke in my hearing and I have listened to everything you had to say.
9 ‘ମୁଁ ଶୁଚି, ଅପରାଧରହିତ; ମୁଁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷ, ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ଅଧର୍ମ ନାହିଁ;
You say, ‘I'm clean, I've done nothing wrong; I'm pure, I have not sinned.
10 ଦେଖ, ସେ ମୋʼ ଛିଦ୍ର ଅନ୍ଵେଷଣ କରନ୍ତି, ସେ ମୋତେ ଆପଣା ଶତ୍ରୁ ବୋଲି ଗଣନ୍ତି;
See how God finds fault with me and treats me as his enemy.
11 ସେ ଯନ୍ତାରେ ମୋହର ପାଦ ରଖନ୍ତି, ସେ ମୋହର ସମସ୍ତ ପଥ ନିରୀକ୍ଷଣ କରନ୍ତି।’
He puts my feet in the stocks and watches everything I do.’
12 ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବି, ଏ ବିଷୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଥାର୍ଥ ନୁହଁ; କାରଣ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ମହାନ ଅଟନ୍ତି।
But look, you are wrong—let me explain. God is greater than any human being.
13 ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ତାହାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବିବାଦ କରୁଅଛ? ଯେଣୁ ସେ ଆପଣାର କୌଣସି ବିଷୟର କାରଣ ଜଣାନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
Why are you fighting against him, complaining that God isn't answering your questions?
14 ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଥରେ କହନ୍ତି, ଦୁଇ ଥର ହିଁ କହନ୍ତି, ତଥାପି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ତହିଁରେ ମନ ଦିଏ ନାହିଁ;
God speaks over and over again, but people don't notice.
15 ସ୍ୱପ୍ନରେ, ରାତ୍ରିକାଳୀନ ଦର୍ଶନରେ; ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନେ ଘୋର ନିଦ୍ରାରେ ମଗ୍ନ ହେବା ବେଳେ, ଶଯ୍ୟାରେ ଘୁମାଇବା ବେଳେ,
Through dreams and visions in the night, when people fall into deep sleep, resting on their beds,
16 ସେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କର କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମୁକ୍ତ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଶିକ୍ଷା ମୋହରାଙ୍କିତ କରନ୍ତି,
God speaks to them with solemn warnings
17 ତଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟକୁ ତାହାର ସଂକଳ୍ପରୁ ନିବୃତ୍ତ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ମନୁଷ୍ୟଠାରୁ ଅହଙ୍କାର ଗୁପ୍ତ କରନ୍ତି।
to turn them away from doing wrong and to stop them from becoming proud.
18 ସେ ତାହାର ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ଗର୍ତ୍ତରୁ ଓ ତାହାର ଜୀବନକୁ ଖଡ୍ଗାଘାତରୁ ଅଟକାଇ ରଖନ୍ତି।
He saves them from the grave and spares them from violent death.
19 ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ଆପଣା ଶଯ୍ୟାରେ ବ୍ୟଥା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଓ ଆପଣା ଅସ୍ଥି ମଧ୍ୟରେ ନିରନ୍ତର ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଶାସ୍ତି ପାଏ;
People are also disciplined on a bed of pain with constant aching in their bones.
20 ତେଣୁ ତାହାର ଜୀବନ ଆହାରକୁ ଓ ତାହାର ପ୍ରାଣ ସୁସ୍ୱାଦୁ ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟକୁ ଘୃଣା କରେ।
They have no desire to eat; they do not even want their favorite dishes.
21 ତାହାର ମାଂସ କ୍ଷୟ ପାଇ ଅଦୃଶ୍ୟ ହୁଏ ଓ ତାହାର ଅଦୃଶ୍ୟ ଥିବା ଅସ୍ଥିସବୁ ଦେଖାଯାଏ।
Their flesh wastes away to nothing; all that's left is skin and bones.
22 ଆହୁରି, ତାହାର ପ୍ରାଣ ଗର୍ତ୍ତର ଓ ତାହାର ଜୀବନ ସଂହାର କର ସନ୍ନିକଟ ହୁଏ।
They are close to death; their lives approaching the executioner.
23 ଯଦି ମନୁଷ୍ୟକୁ ତାହାର କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟତା ଦେଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ଜଣେ ଦୂତ, ସହସ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଜଣେ ଅର୍ଥକାରକ ଥାଏ;
But if an angel appears, a mediator, one of God's thousands of angels, to tell someone the right way for them,
24 ତେବେ ସେ ତାହାକୁ କୃପା କରି କହିବେ, ‘ଗର୍ତ୍ତଗମନରୁ ତାହାକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର, ମୁଁ ପ୍ରାୟଶ୍ଚିତ୍ତ ପାଇଅଛି।
he will be gracious to them. He will say, ‘Save them from going down into the grave, for I have found a way to free them.’
25 ତାହାର ମାଂସ ବାଳକର ମାଂସ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ସତେଜ ହେବ; ସେ ଆପଣା ଯୌବନ ଦିନ ପୁନର୍ବାର ପାଇବ;’
Then their bodies will be renewed as if they were young again; they will be as strong as when they were in their prime.
26 ସେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରେ ଓ ସେ ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରସନ୍ନ ହୁଅନ୍ତି; ତେଣୁ ସେ ଆନନ୍ଦରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ମୁଖ ଦର୍ଶନ କରେ; ଆଉ, ସେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟକୁ ତାହାର ଧାର୍ମିକତା ପୁନର୍ବାର ଦିଅନ୍ତି।
They will pray to God, and he will accept them; they come into God's presence with joy, and he will set things right for them.
27 ସେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ଗାନ କରି କହେ, ‘ମୁଁ ପାପ କରିଅଛି ଓ ନ୍ୟାୟର ବିପରୀତ କରିଅଛି ଓ ତାହା ମୋହର ଲାଭଜନକ ହୋଇ ନାହିଁ।
They sing, and tell others, ‘I sinned, I distorted what is right, but it did not do me any good.
28 ସେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ଗର୍ତ୍ତଗମନରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ମୋହର ଜୀବନ ଆଲୁଅ ଦେଖିବ।’
He saved me from going down into the grave and I will live in the light.’
29 ଦେଖ, ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଯେପରି ଜୀବିତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଦୀପ୍ତିରେ ଦୀପ୍ତିମାନ ହେବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଗର୍ତ୍ତରୁ ତାହାର ପ୍ରାଣ ଫେରାଇ ଆଣିବାକୁ,
Look, God does this time and again for people;
30 ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାହା ସହିତ ଦୁଇ ଥର, ମଧ୍ୟ ତିନି ଥର ଏହିସବୁ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରନ୍ତି।
he saves them from the grave so they might see the light of life.
31 ହେ ଆୟୁବ, ମନୋଯୋଗ କରି ମୋʼ କଥା ଶୁଣ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନୀରବ ହୁଅ, ମୁଁ କଥା କହିବି।
Pay attention Job, and listen to me! Be quiet—let me speak!
32 ତୁମ୍ଭର କହିବାର କୌଣସି ବିଷୟ ଥିଲେ, ମୋତେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଅ; କୁହ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷ କରିବାକୁ ମୋର ଇଚ୍ଛା।
But if you have anything to say, then speak up.
33 ନୋହିଲେ ମୋʼ କଥା ଶୁଣ; ନୀରବ ହୁଅ, ଆଉ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଶିଖାଇବି।”
If not, listen to me. Keep quiet and I will teach you wisdom.”
