ଆୟୁବ 30
1 ଲୋକମାନେ ମୋତେ ପରିହାସ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପିତୃଗଣକୁ ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ପଲରକ୍ଷକ କୁକ୍କୁରମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ରଖିବାକୁ ତୁଚ୍ଛ କଲି।
But, now, they who are of fewer days than I, have poured derision upon me; whose fathers I refused—to set with the dogs of my flock.
2 ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବାହୁ ବଳରେ ମୋହର କି ଲାଭ ହୋଇପାରେ? ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଯୌବନାବସ୍ଥା ନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଅଛି।
Even the strength of their hands, wherefore was it mine? Upon them, vigour was lost;
3 ସେମାନେ ଦରିଦ୍ରତା ଓ ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ ସକାଶୁ କ୍ଷୀଣ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ଘୋର ଉତ୍ସନ୍ନତା ଓ ଶୂନ୍ୟତାରେ ଶୁଷ୍କ ଭୂମି ଚର୍ବଣ କରନ୍ତି।
In want and hunger, they were lean, —who used to gnaw the dry ground, a dark night of desolation!
4 ସେମାନେ ବୁଦା ନିକଟରୁ ବିସ୍ୱାଦୁ ଶାକ ଛିଣ୍ଡାନ୍ତି ଓ ରେତମବୃକ୍ଷର ମୂଳ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଆହାର।
Who used to pluck off the mallow by the bushes, with the root of the broom for their food;
5 ସେମାନେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ତାଡ଼ିତ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ଲୋକେ ଯେପରି ଚୋର ପଛରେ, ସେହିପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଛରେ ଡାକ ପକାନ୍ତି।
Out of the midst, were they driven, men shouted after them, as after a thief;
6 ସେମାନେ ଉପତ୍ୟକାର ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସ୍ଥାନରେ, ପୃଥିବୀର ଓ ଶୈଳର ଗର୍ତ୍ତରେ ବାସ କରିବେ।
In the fissures, of the ravines had they to dwell, in holes of dust and crags;
7 ସେମାନେ ବୁଦା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗଧ ପରି ବୋବାନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ବିଛୁଆତି ବନରେ ରୁଣ୍ଡ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
Among the bushes, used they to shriek, Under the bramble, were they huddled together:
8 ସେମାନେ ମୂର୍ଖମାନଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନ, ସେମାନେ ଇତର ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନ; ସେମାନେ କୋରଡ଼ା ଖାଇ ଦେଶରୁ ତଡ଼ା ଯାଇଥିଲେ।
Sons of the base, yea sons of the nameless, they were scourged out of the land.
9 ମାତ୍ର ଏବେ ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗୀତ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହୋଇଅଛି; ହଁ, ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗଳ୍ପ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହୋଇଅଛି।
But, now, their song, have I become, Yea I serve them for a byword;
10 ସେମାନେ ମୋତେ ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ଠାରୁ ଦୂରରେ ଠିଆ ହୁଅନ୍ତି ଓ ମୋʼ ମୁଖରେ ଛେପ ପକାଇବାକୁ ଡରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
They abhor me—have put themselves far from me, and, from my face, have not withheld—spittle!
11 କାରଣ ସେ ଆପଣା ରଜ୍ଜୁ ଫିଟାଇ ମୋତେ କ୍ଳେଶ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ଏଣୁ ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ଲଗାମ ପକାଇ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
Because, my girdle, he had loosened and had humbled me, therefore, the bridle—in my presence, cast they off;
12 ଇତର ଲୋକମାନେ ମୋʼ ଡାହାଣରେ ଉଠନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ଚରଣ ଘୁଞ୍ଚାଇ ଦିଅନ୍ତି ଓ ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ବିନାଶର ମାର୍ଗ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରନ୍ତି।
On my right hand, the young brood rose up, —My feet, they thrust aside, and cast up against me their earthworks of destruction;
13 ସେମାନେ ମୋର ପଥ ବିଗାଡ଼ନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ବିପଦକୁ ଅଗ୍ରସର କରନ୍ତି, ଅନ୍ୟର ସହାୟ ବିନା ହିଁ ସେମାନେ ତାହା କରନ୍ତି।
They brake up my path, —My engulfing ruin, they helped forward, unaided;
14 ସେମାନେ ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ ଭଗ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନ ଦେଇ ଆସିଲା ପରି ଆସନ୍ତି; ଉଜାଡ଼ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ଉପରେ ଗଡ଼ନ୍ତି।
As through a wide breach, came they on, with a crashing noise, they rolled themselves along.
15 ନାନା ପ୍ରକାର ତ୍ରାସ ମୋତେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିଅଛି, ତାହାସବୁ ବାୟୁ ପରି ମୋହର ସମ୍ଭ୍ରମ ଘଉଡ଼ାନ୍ତି ଓ ମୋହର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ମେଘ ପରି ବହି ଯାଇଅଛି।
There are turned upon me terrors, —Chased away as with a wind, is mine abundance, and, as a cloud, hath passed away my prosperity.
16 ପୁଣି, ଏବେ ମୋର ପ୍ରାଣ ମୋʼ ଅନ୍ତରରେ ତରଳି ଯାଏ; କ୍ଳେଶର ଦିନସବୁ ମୋତେ ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରିଅଛି।
Now, therefore, over myself, my soul poureth itself out, There seize me days of affliction:
17 ରାତ୍ରିକାଳରେ ମୋହର ଅସ୍ଥିସବୁ ମୋʼ ଭିତରେ ବିଦ୍ଧ ହୁଏ ଓ ମୋତେ କାମୁଡ଼ିବା ବେଦନାସବୁ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ନିଅନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
Night, boreth, my bones, all over me, —and, my sinews, find no rest;
18 ମୋʼ ରୋଗର ପ୍ରବଳ ଶକ୍ତିରେ ମୋʼ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ବିକୃତ ହୋଇଅଛି; ତାହା ମୋʼ ଜାମାର ଗଳାପଟି ପରି ମୋତେ ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ବାନ୍ଧେ।
Most effectually, is my skin disfigured, —Like the collar of my tunic, it girdeth me about:
19 ସେ ମୋତେ ପଙ୍କରେ ପକାଇ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ମୁଁ ଧୂଳି ଓ ଭସ୍ମ ପରି ହୋଇଅଛି।
He hath cast me into the mire, and I have become like dust and ashes.
20 ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଡାକ ପକାଉଅଛି, ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ। ମୁଁ ଠିଆ ହେଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଅନାଉଅଛ।
I cry out for help unto thee, and thou dost not answer, I stand still, and thou dost gaze at me;
21 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରତି ନିଷ୍ଠୁର ହୋଇ ଯାଇଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତର ପରାକ୍ରମରେ ମୋତେ ତାଡ଼ନା କରୁଅଛ।
Thou art turned to become a cruel one unto me, With the might of thy hand, thou assailest me;
22 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ବାୟୁକୁ ଉଠାଇ ତହିଁ ଉପରେ ମୋତେ ଚଢ଼ାଉଅଛ ଓ ବତାସରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଲୀନ କରୁଅଛ।
Thou liftest up me to the wind, thou carriest me away, and the storm maketh me faint;
23 କାରଣ ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ମୃତ୍ୟୁୁ ନିକଟକୁ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଣୀ ପାଇଁ ନିରୂପିତ ଗୃହକୁ ଆଣିବ।
For I know that, unto death, thou wilt bring me back, even unto the house of meeting for every one living.
24 ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ଭଗ୍ନ ଗୃହାଦିର ରାଶି ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବଢ଼ାଇବେ ନାହିଁ; ତଥାପି ଜଣେ ଆପଣା ବିନାଶ ସମୟରେ ଏହିସବୁ ବିଷୟ ସକାଶୁ ଆର୍ତ୍ତନାଦ କରିପାରେ।
Only, against a heap of ruins, will one not thrust a hand! Surely, when one is in calamity—for that very reason, is there an outcry for help.
25 ମୁଁ କି ଦୁଃଖରେ ଥିବା ଲୋକ ପାଇଁ ରୋଦନ କଲି ନାହିଁ? ଦୀନହୀନ ପାଇଁ କି ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ ଦୁଃଖିତ ନୋହିଲା?
Verily I wept, for him whose lot was hard, Grieved was my soul, for the needy.
26 ମୁଁ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବା ବେଳେ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା; ପୁଣି, ମୁଁ ଆଲୁଅର ଅପେକ୍ଷା କଲା ବେଳେ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ଆସିଲା।
Surely, for good, I looked, but there came in evil, And I waited for light, but there came in darkness;
27 ମୋʼ ଅନ୍ତ୍ର ଫୁଟେ, ବିଶ୍ରାମ କରେ ନାହିଁ; ମୋʼ ଉପରେ କ୍ଳେଶର ଦିନସବୁ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୋଇଅଛି।
I boiled within me, and rested not, There confronted me—days of affliction;
28 ମୁଁ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ବିନା ମ୍ଳାନ ହୋଇ ବୁଲୁଥାଏ; ମୁଁ ସମାଜରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ପାଇଁ ଆର୍ତ୍ତନାଦ କରେ।
In gloom, I walked along, without sun, I arose—in the convocation, I cried out for help;
29 ମୁଁ ଶୃଗାଳମାନଙ୍କର ଭାଇ ଓ ଉଷ୍ଟ୍ରପକ୍ଷୀଙ୍କର ସଙ୍ଗୀ ହୋଇଅଛି।
A brother, became I to the brutes that howl, and a companion to the birds that screech:
30 ମୋହର ଚର୍ମ କୃଷ୍ଣବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇ ମୋʼ ଠାରୁ ଝଡ଼ି ପଡ଼ୁଅଛି ଓ ମୋʼ ଅସ୍ଥିସବୁ ଉତ୍ତାପରେ ଦଗ୍ଧ ହେଉଅଛି।
My skin, turned black, and peeled off me, and, my bones, burned with heat:
31 ତେଣୁ ମୋହର ବୀଣା ଶୋକରେ ଓ ମୋହର ବଂଶୀ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱରରେ ପରିଣତ ହୋଇଅଛି।
Thus is attuned to mourning—my lyre, and my flute, to the noise of them who weep.
