ଆୟୁବ 21
1 ଏଥିରେ ଆୟୁବ ଉତ୍ତର କରି କହିଲା,
Bvt Iob answered, and sayd,
2 “ମନୋଯୋଗ କରି ମୋʼ କଥା ଶୁଣ ଓ ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନା ହେଉ।
Heare diligently my wordes, and this shalbe in stead of your consolations.
3 ମୋତେ ଅନୁମତି ଦିଅ, ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ କଥା କହିବି ଓ ମୁଁ କହିସାରିଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଉପହାସ କରୁଥାଅ।
Suffer mee, that I may speake, and when I haue spoken, mocke on.
4 ମୋʼ ଗୁହାରି କʼଣ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ନିକଟରେ? ତେବେ ମୁଁ କାହିଁକି ଅଧୈର୍ଯ୍ୟ ନୋହିବି?
Doe I direct my talke to man? If it were so, how should not my spirit be troubled?
5 ମୋତେ ନିରୀକ୍ଷଣ କରି ଚମତ୍କୃତ ହୁଅ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମୁଖରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ହାତ ଦିଅ।
Marke mee, and be abashed, and lay your hand vpon your mouth.
6 ମୁଁ ସ୍ମରଣ କଲେ ବ୍ୟାକୁଳ ହୁଏ ଓ ମୋʼ ଶରୀର କମ୍ପିତ ହୁଏ।
Euen when I remember, I am afrayde, and feare taketh hold on my flesh.
7 ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନେ କାହିଁକି ଜୀବିତ ଥାʼନ୍ତି, ବୃଦ୍ଧ ହୁଅନ୍ତି ଓ ପରାକ୍ରମରେ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିଷ୍ଣୁ ହୁଅନ୍ତି?
Wherefore do the wicked liue, and waxe olde, and grow in wealth?
8 ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବଂଶ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନସନ୍ତତି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିଗୋଚରରେ ସ୍ଥିରୀକୃତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
Their seede is established in their sight with them, and their generation before their eyes.
9 ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଗୃହ ଭୟରୁ ରକ୍ଷିତ ଥାଏ, କିଅବା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ଯଷ୍ଟି ନ ଥାଏ।
Their houses are peaceable without feare, and the rod of God is not vpon them.
10 ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବୃଷ ସଙ୍ଗମ କରି ନିଷ୍ଫଳ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ; ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗାଭୀ ପ୍ରସବ କରେ ଓ ଗର୍ଭପାତ କରେ ନାହିଁ।
Their bullocke gendreth, and fayleth not: their cow calueth, and casteth not her calfe.
11 ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ବାଳକଗଣକୁ ପଲ ପରି ବାହାରେ ପଠାନ୍ତି ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ନୃତ୍ୟ କରନ୍ତି।
They send forth their children like sheepe, and their sonnes dance.
12 ସେମାନେ ତବଲା ଓ ବୀଣା ବଜାଇ ଗାନ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ବଂଶୀଧ୍ୱନିରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି।
They take the tabret and harpe, and reioyce in the sound of the organs.
13 ସେହି ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନେ ସମୃଦ୍ଧିରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଦିନ କ୍ଷେପଣ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଏକ ନିମିଷରେ ପାତାଳକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇଯାʼନ୍ତି। (Sheol h7585)
They spend their dayes in wealth, and suddenly they go downe to the graue. (Sheol h7585)
14 ତଥାପି ସେମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ‘ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ ଦୂର ହୁଅ; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମାର୍ଗ ବିଷୟକ ଜ୍ଞାନ ବାଞ୍ଛା କରୁ ନାହୁଁ।
They say also vnto God, Depart from vs: for we desire not the knowledge of thy wayes.
15 ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ କିଏ ଯେ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ସେବା କରିବା? ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ କି ଲାଭ ପାଇବା?’
Who is the Almightie, that we should serue him? and what profit should we haue, if we should pray vnto him?
16 ଦେଖ, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସୁଖ ସମୃଦ୍ଧି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ନାହିଁ; ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ମୋʼ ଠାରୁ ଦୂରରେ ଥାଏ।
Lo, their wealth is not in their hand: therfore let the counsell of the wicked bee farre from me.
17 କେତେ ଥର ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଦୀପ ନିଭାଯାଏ? ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିପଦ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପଡ଼େ? ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆପଣା କ୍ରୋଧରେ କ୍ଳେଶ ବିତରଣ କରନ୍ତି?
How oft shall the candle of the wicked be put out? and their destruction come vpon them? he wil deuide their liues in his wrath.
18 ସେମାନେ ବାୟୁ ଆଗରେ କୁଟା ପରି ଓ ବତାସରେ ଉଡ଼ନ୍ତା ତୁଷ ପରି ହୁଅନ୍ତି?
They shall be as stubble before the winde, and as chaffe that the storme carieth away.
19 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କହୁଅଛ, ‘ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାହାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହାର ଅଧର୍ମ ସଞ୍ଚୟ କରନ୍ତି।’ ସେ ତାହାକୁ ହିଁ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦେଉନ୍ତୁ, ତହିଁରେ ସେ ତାହା ଜାଣିବ।
God wil lay vp the sorowe of the father for his children: when he rewardeth him, hee shall knowe it.
20 ତାହାର ନିଜ ଚକ୍ଷୁ ତାହାର ବିନାଶ ଦେଖୁ ଓ ସେ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କ କ୍ରୋଧ ପାନ କରୁ।
His eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall drinke of the wrath of the Almightie.
21 କାରଣ ମଧ୍ୟଭାଗରୁ ତାହାର ମାସ-ସଂଖ୍ୟା କଟାଗଲେ, ତାହାର ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ବଂଶରେ କି ତାହାର କିଛି ସନ୍ତୋଷ ଥାଏ?
For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, when the nomber of his moneths is cut off?
22 ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱବାସୀମାନଙ୍କର ଶାସନ କରନ୍ତି, ଏଣୁ କେହି କି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଶିଖାଇବ?
Shall any teache God knowledge, who iudgeth the highest things?
23 କେହି ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ଓ ଶାନ୍ତି ଭୋଗ କରି ବଳବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇ ମରେ;
One dyeth in his full strength, being in all ease and prosperitie.
24 ତାହାର ସ୍ତନ ଦୁଗ୍ଧରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ତାହାର ଅସ୍ଥିର ମେଦ ସତେଜ ଥାଏ।
His breasts are full of milke, and his bones runne full of marowe.
25 ଆଉ, କେହି ପ୍ରାଣର ତିକ୍ତତାରେ ମରେ ଓ କେତେବେଳେ ମଙ୍ଗଳର ଆସ୍ୱାଦ ପାଏ ନାହିଁ।
And another dieth in the bitternes of his soule, and neuer eateth with pleasure.
26 ଏମାନେ ଏକ ସମାନ ମାଟିରେ ଶୟନ କରନ୍ତି ଓ କୀଟ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରେ।
They shall sleepe both in the dust, and the wormes shall couer them.
27 ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାରସବୁ ଓ ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ୟାୟକଳ୍ପିତ ସଂକଳ୍ପସବୁ ଜାଣେ।
Behold, I know your thoughts, and the enterprises, wherewith ye do me wrong.
28 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କହୁଅଛ, ‘ସେହି ଅଧିପତିର ଗୃହ କାହିଁ? ଓ ସେହି ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ବସତି-ତମ୍ବୁ କାହିଁ?’
For ye say, Where is the princes house? and where is the tabernacle of the wickeds dwelling?
29 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କʼଣ ପଥିକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରି ନାହଁ? ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କʼଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଲକ୍ଷଣ ଜାଣ ନାହିଁ ଯେ,
May ye not aske the that go by the way? and ye can not deny their signes.
30 ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକ ବିପଦର ଦିନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରକ୍ଷିତ? ଓ ସେମାନେ କୋପର ଦିନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଘେନାଯାʼନ୍ତି?
But the wicked is kept vnto the day of destruction, and they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.
31 ତାହାର ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ କିଏ ତାହାର ପଥ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବ? ଓ କିଏ ତାହାର କୃତ କର୍ମର ଫଳ ତାହାକୁ ଦେବ?
Who shall declare his way to his face? and who shall reward him for that he hath done?
32 ତଥାପି ସେ କବରକୁ ବହାଯିବ ଓ କବର ଉପରେ ପ୍ରହରୀ ରହିବ।
Yet shall he be brought to the graue, and remaine in the heape.
33 ଉପତ୍ୟକାର ମୃତ୍ତିକା ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ମିଷ୍ଟ ହେବ, ଯେପରି ତାହା ପୂର୍ବରେ ଅସଂଖ୍ୟ ଲୋକ, ସେପରି ତାହାର ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଗମନ କରିବେ।
The slimie valley shalbe sweete vnto him, and euery man shall draw after him, as before him there were innumerable.
34 ତେବେ କିପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋତେ ବୃଥାରେ ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନା ଦେଉଅଛ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉତ୍ତରରେ ତ କେବଳ ମିଥ୍ୟା ଥାଏ।”
How then comfort ye me in vaine, seeing in your answeres there remaine but lyes?
