ଆୟୁବ 17
1 ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ କ୍ଷୟ ପାଉଅଛି ଓ ମୋହର ଦିନ ଅବସାନ ହେଉଅଛି, ମୋʼ ନିମନ୍ତେ କବର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଅଛି।
My breath is corrupt: my dayes are cut off, and the graue is readie for me.
2 ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ପରିହାସକମାନେ ମୋʼ ନିକଟରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧ ମୋʼ ଚକ୍ଷୁଗୋଚରରେ ଅଛି।
There are none but mockers with mee, and mine eye continueth in their bitternesse.
3 ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ବିନୟ କରୁଅଛି, ପ୍ରତିନିଧି ଦିଅ, ଆପଣା ନିକଟରେ ଆପେ ମୋʼ ପାଇଁ ଲଗା ହୁଏ; ଆଉ କିଏ ମୋʼ ହାତରେ ହାତ ଦେବ?
Lay downe nowe and put me in suretie for thee: who is hee, that will touch mine hand?
4 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣକୁ ବୁଦ୍ଧିରୁ ଗୁପ୍ତ କରିଅଛ; ଏହେତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉନ୍ନତ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।
For thou hast hid their heart from vnderstanding: therefore shalt thou not set them vp on hie.
5 ଯେ ଆପଣା ମିତ୍ରଗଣକୁ ଲୁଟ ରୂପେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରେ, ତାହାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ନିସ୍ତେଜ ହେବ।
For the eyes of his children shall faile, that speaketh flattery to his friends.
6 ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ମୋତେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ହାସ୍ୟାସ୍ପଦ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ମୁଁ ପ୍ରକାଶରେ ଘୃଣାପାତ୍ର ହୋଇଅଛି।
Hee hath also made mee a byword of the people, and I am as a Tabret before them.
7 ଦୁଃଖ ସକାଶୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋର ଚକ୍ଷୁ କ୍ଷୀଣ ହୋଇଅଛି ଓ ମୋହର ସର୍ବାଙ୍ଗ ଛାୟା ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହୋଇଅଛି।
Mine eye therefore is dimme for griefe, and all my strength is like a shadowe.
8 ସରଳ ଲୋକେ ଏଥିରେ ଚମତ୍କୃତ ହେବେ ଓ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷ ଲୋକ ଅଧାର୍ମିକ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆପଣାକୁ ଉତ୍ତେଜିତ କରିବ।
The righteous shalbe astonied at this, and the innocent shalbe moued against ye hypocrite.
9 ତଥାପି ଧାର୍ମିକ ଆପଣା ମାର୍ଗ ଦୃଢ଼ କରି ଧରିବ ଓ ଶୁଚିହସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଆହୁରି ଆହୁରି ବଳବାନ ହେବ।
But the righteous wil holde his way, and he whose hands are pure, shall increase his strength.
10 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଏବେ ଫେରି ଆସ; ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଜ୍ଞାନବାନ ଲୋକ ପାଇବି ନାହିଁ।
All you therefore turne you, and come nowe, and I shall not finde one wise among you.
11 ମୋହର ବଞ୍ଚିବାର ଦିନସବୁ ଅତୀତ ହେଲା, ମୋହର ଅଭିପ୍ରାୟ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ମୋର ମନର ସଂକଳ୍ପସବୁ ନିଷ୍ଫଳ ହେଲା।
My dayes are past, mine enterprises are broken, and the thoughts of mine heart
12 ସେମାନେ ରାତ୍ରିକୁ ଦିନ କରନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ଆଲୁଅକୁ ଅନ୍ଧକାରର ସନ୍ନିକଟ ବୋଲି କହନ୍ତି।
Haue changed the nyght for the day, and the light that approched, for darkenesse.
Though I hope, yet the graue shall bee mine house, and I shall make my bed in the darke. (Sheol h7585)
14 ଯଦି ମୁଁ କ୍ଷୟକୁ କହିଅଛି, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ପିତା;’ କୀଟକୁ କହିଅଛି, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ମାତା’ ଓ ‘ଭଗିନୀ;’
I shall say to corruption, Thou art my father, and to the worme, Thou art my mother and my sister.
15 ତେବେ ମୋହର ଭରସା କାହିଁ? ଓ ମୋହର ଭରସା କିଏ ଦେଖିବ?
Where is then now mine hope? or who shall consider the thing, that I hoped for?
