ଆୟୁବ 16
1 ଏଥିରେ ଆୟୁବ ଉତ୍ତର କରି କହିଲା,
Then Job answered, and said:
2 “ମୁଁ ଏପରି ଅନେକ କଥା ଶୁଣିଅଛି; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଦୁଃଖଦାୟକ ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନାକାରୀ ଅଟ।
I have often heard such things as these: you are all troublesome comforters.
3 ଅସାର କଥାରେ କି ଶେଷ ଥାଏ? ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କେଉଁ କଥା ଉତ୍ତେଜିତ କରୁଅଛି?
Shall windy words have no end? or is it any trouble to thee to speak?
4 ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରି କହି ପାରନ୍ତି; ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଣ ମୋର ପ୍ରାଣର ଅବସ୍ଥାରେ ଥାʼନ୍ତା, ତେବେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ବାକ୍ୟମାଳା ଏକତ୍ର ଖଞ୍ଜି ପାରନ୍ତି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଆପଣା ମୁଣ୍ଡ ହଲାଇ ପାରନ୍ତି।
I also could speak like you: and would God your soul were for my soul. I would comfort you also with words, and would wag my head over you.
5 ମାତ୍ର ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ମୁଖରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସବଳ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ମୋʼ ଓଷ୍ଠାଧରର ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଦୁଃଖରେ ଉପଶମ କରନ୍ତା।
I would strengthen you with my mouth, and would move my lips, as sparing you.
6 ମୁଁ କଥା କହିଲେ ହେଁ ମୋʼ ଦୁଃଖର ଉପଶମ ହେଉ ନାହିଁ; ମୁଁ ନୀରବ ହେଲେ ହେଁ ମୋହର ଆରାମ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ।
But what shall I do? If I speak, my pain will not rest: and if I hold my peace, it will not depart from me.
7 ମାତ୍ର ସେ ଏବେ ମୋତେ କ୍ଳାନ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ସକଳ ସଙ୍ଗୀଦଳ ଶୂନ୍ୟ କରିଅଛ।
But now my sorrow hath oppressed me, and all my limbs are brought to nothing.
8 ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଦୃଢ଼ କରି ଧରିଅଛ, ଏହା ମୋର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ସାକ୍ଷୀ ହୁଏ; ଆଉ, ମୋʼ କ୍ଷୀଣତା ମୋʼ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଉଠି ମୋʼ ମୁଖ ଆଗରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦିଏ।
My wrinkles bear witness against me, and a false speaker riseth up against my face, contradicting me.
9 ସେ ନିଜ କୋପରେ ମୋତେ ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ତାଡ଼ନା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେ ମୋʼ ଉପରେ ଦନ୍ତ କଡ଼ମଡ଼ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ମୋହର ବିପକ୍ଷ ମୋʼ ଉପରେ ଆପଣା ଚକ୍ଷୁ ତୀବ୍ର କରିଅଛି।
He hath gathered together his fury against me, and threatening me he hath gnashed with his teeth upon me: my enemy hath beheld me with terrible eyes.
10 ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ଉପରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ମେଲା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ଧିକ୍କାରପୂର୍ବକ ମୋʼ ଗାଲରେ ମାରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଏକତ୍ରିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
They have opened their mouths upon me, and reproaching me they have struck me on the cheek, they are filled with my pains.
11 ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମୋତେ ଅଧାର୍ମିକମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ମୋତେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ପକାଇ ଦିଅନ୍ତି।
God hath shut me up with the unjust man, and hath delivered me into the hands of the wicked.
12 ମୁଁ ଆରାମରେ ଥିଲି, ସେ ମୋତେ ଭଗ୍ନ କଲେ; ହଁ, ମୋʼ ବେକ ଧରି ମୋତେ କଚାଡ଼ି ଖଣ୍ଡ ଖଣ୍ଡ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ମୋତେ ଆପଣାର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ରୂପେ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
I that was formerly so wealthy, am all on a sudden broken to pieces: he hath taken me by my neck, he hath broken me, and hath set me up to be his mark.
13 ତାହାଙ୍କ ଧନୁର୍ଦ୍ଧରମାନେ ମୋତେ ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ଘେରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ମୋହର ବୃକକ୍ ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଦୟା କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ; ସେ ମୋହର ପିତ୍ତ ଭୂମିରେ ଢାଳନ୍ତି।
He hath compassed me round about with his lances, he hath wounded my loins, he hath not spared, and hath poured out my bowels on the earth.
14 ସେ ମୋତେ ଭାଙ୍ଗିଭାଙ୍ଗି ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାନ୍ତି; ସେ ବୀର ପରି ମୋର ଉପରକୁ ଧାଇଁ ଆସନ୍ତି।
He hath torn me with wound upon wound, he hath rushed in upon me like a giant.
15 ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଚର୍ମ ଉପରେ ଅଖା ସିଁଇଅଛି ଓ ଆପଣା ଶୃଙ୍ଗ ଧୂଳିରେ ରଖିଅଛି।
I have sowed sackcloth upon my skin, and have covered my flesh with ashes.
16 ରୋଦନରେ ମୋହର ମୁଖ ବିକୃତ ହୋଇଅଛି ଓ ମୃତ୍ୟୁଚ୍ଛାୟା ମୋʼ ଚକ୍ଷୁର ପତା ଉପରେ ଅଛି।
My face is swollen with weeping, and my eyelids are dim.
17 ତଥାପି ମୋʼ ହସ୍ତରେ ଦୌରାତ୍ମ୍ୟ ନାହିଁ ଓ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ନିର୍ମଳ।
These things have I suffered without the iniquity of my hand, when I offered pure prayers to God.
18 ଗୋ ପୃଥିବୀ, ମୋହର ରକ୍ତ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କର ନାହିଁ ଓ ମୋହର କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କୌଣସି ବିଶ୍ରାମ-ସ୍ଥାନ ନ ପାଉ।
O earth, cover not thou my blood, neither let my cry find a hiding place in thee.
19 ଏବେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେଖ, ମୋହର ସାକ୍ଷୀ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ମୋʼ ପକ୍ଷରେ ପ୍ରମାଣଦାତା ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି।
For behold my witness is in heaven, and he that knoweth my conscience is on high.
20 ମୋʼ ମିତ୍ରଗଣ ମୋତେ ତୁଚ୍ଛ କରନ୍ତି; ମାତ୍ର ମୋହର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଲୋତକ ଢାଳେ;
My friends are full of words: my eye poureth out tears to God.
21 ଯେପରି ସେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ଓ ପ୍ରତିବାସୀ ନିକଟରେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ରର ନ୍ୟାୟ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ।
And O that a man might so be judged with God, as the son of man is judged with his companion!
22 କାରଣ ଅଳ୍ପ ବର୍ଷ ଗତ ହେଲେ ଯେଉଁ ପଥରେ ଯାଇ ମୁଁ ଫେରି ଆସିବି ନାହିଁ, ସେହି ପଥରେ ମୁଁ ଯିବି।
For behold short years pass away and I am walking in a path by which I shall not return.
