ଆୟୁବ 13
1 ଦେଖ, ମୋହର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଏହିସବୁ ଦେଖିଅଛି, ମୋହର କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଏହା ଶୁଣି ବୁଝିଅଛି।
Behold my eye hath seen all these things, and my ear hath heard them, and I have understood them all.
2 ଯାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣ, ତାହା ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ; ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଊଣା ନୁହେଁ।
According to your knowledge I also know: neither am I inferior to you.
3 ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ମୁଁ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରେ ଓ ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଯୁକ୍ତି କରିବାକୁ ବାଞ୍ଛା କରେ।
But yet I will speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.
4 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମିଥ୍ୟାବାକ୍ୟରଚକ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ମୂଲ୍ୟହୀନ ବୈଦ୍ୟ।
Having first shewn that you are forgers of lies, and maintainers of perverse opinions.
5 ଆଃ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେବେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନୀରବ ହୋଇ ରହନ୍ତ! ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଜ୍ଞାନସୂଚକ ହୁଅନ୍ତା।
And I wish you would hold your peace, that you might be thought to be wise men.
6 ଏବେ ମୋହର ଯୁକ୍ତି ଶୁଣ ଓ ମୋର ଓଷ୍ଠାଧରର ପ୍ରତିବାଦରେ କର୍ଣ୍ଣପାତ କର।
Hear ye therefore my reproof, and attend to the judgment of my lips.
7 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କʼଣ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ ଅନ୍ୟାୟ କଥା କହିବ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚନା-ବାକ୍ୟ କହିବ?
Hath God any need of your lie, that you should speak deceitfully for him?
8 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କʼଣ ତାହାଙ୍କର ମୁଖାପେକ୍ଷା କରିବ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କʼଣ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ ବିରୋଧ କରିବ?
Do you accept his person, and do you endeavour to judge for God?
9 ସେ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରିବେ, ଏହା କି ଭଲ? କିଅବା କେହି ଯେପରି ମନୁଷ୍ୟକୁ ଭୁଲାଏ, ସେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କʼଣ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଭୁଲାଇବ?
Or shall it please him, from whom nothing can be concealed? or shall he be deceived as a man, with your deceitful dealings?
10 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଗୋପନରେ ମୁଖାପେକ୍ଷା କଲେ, ସେ ଅବଶ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁଯୋଗ କରିବେ।
He shall reprove you, because in secret you accept his person.
11 ତାହାଙ୍କର ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱ କʼଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୀତ କରିବ ନାହିଁ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଭୟଙ୍କରତା କʼଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପଡ଼ିବ ନାହିଁ?
As soon as he shall move himself, he shall trouble you: and his dread shall fall upon you.
12 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ମରଣୀୟ ବଚନମାଳା ଭସ୍ମରୂପ ପ୍ରବାଦ ଅଟେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଦୁର୍ଗସବୁ କର୍ଦ୍ଦମର ଦୁର୍ଗ ଅଟେ।
Your remembrance shall be compared to ashes, and your necks shall be brought to clay.
13 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନୀରବ ହୁଅ, ମୋତେ ଛାଡ଼, ମୁଁ କଥା କହିବି, ତହିଁରେ ମୋହର ଯାହା ହେବ, ହେଉ।
Hold your peace a little while, that I may speak whatsoever my mind shall suggest to me.
14 ମୁଁ କାହିଁକି ଆପଣା ଦନ୍ତରେ ଆପଣା ମାଂସ ଧରିବି ଓ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତରେ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାଣ ରଖିବି?
Why do I tear my flesh with my teeth, and carry my soul in my hands?
15 ସେ ମୋତେ ବଧ କଲେ ହେଁ ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବି; ତଥାପି ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଛାମୁରେ ଆପଣା ପଥ ସମର୍ଥନ କରିବି।
Although he should bill me, I will trust in him: but yet I will reprove my ways in his sight.
16 ଏହା ହିଁ ମୋହର ମୁକ୍ତି ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବ; କାରଣ ଅଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଛାମୁକୁ ଆସିବ ନାହିଁ।
And he shall be my saviour: for no hypocrite shall come before his presence.
17 ମନୋଯୋଗ କରି ମୋହର କଥା ଶୁଣ ଓ ମୋହର ନିବେଦନ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର କର୍ଣ୍ଣଗୋଚରରେ ଥାଉ।
Hear ye my speech, and receive with Sour ears hidden truths.
18 ଏବେ ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ବିଚାରର କଥା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିଅଛି; ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ, ମୁଁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷ ହେବି।
If I shall be judged, I know that I shall be found just.
19 ମୋʼ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯେ ବିବାଦ କରିବ, ସେ କିଏ? କାରଣ (କେହି ଥିଲେ) ମୁଁ ନୀରବ ହୋଇ ପ୍ରାଣତ୍ୟାଗ କରିବି।
Who is he that will plead against me? let him come: why am I consumed holding my peace?
20 କେବଳ ଦୁଇ କଥା ମୋʼ ପ୍ରତି କର ନାହିଁ, ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରୁ ଆପଣାକୁ ଲୁଚାଇବି ନାହିଁ।
Two things only do not to me, and then from thy face I shall not be hid:
21 ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତ ମୋʼ ଠାରୁ ଦୂରକୁ କାଢ଼ି ନିଅ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭୟାନକତା ମୋତେ ଭୀତ ନ କରୁ।
Withdraw thy hand far from me, and let not thy dread terrify me.
22 ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଡାକ, ମୁଁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବି; ଅବା ମୁଁ କହେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଅ।
Call me, and I will answer thee: or else I will speak, and do thou answer me.
23 ମୋହର ଅପରାଧ ଓ ପାପ କେତେ? ମୋହର ଅଧର୍ମ ଓ ପାପ ମୋତେ ଜଣାଅ।
How many are my iniquities and sins? make me know my crimes and offences.
24 ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ଲୁଚାଉଅଛ? ଓ ମୋତେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶତ୍ରୁ ବୋଲି ଜ୍ଞାନ କରୁଅଛ?
Why hidest thou thy face, and thinkest me thy enemy?
25 ତୁମ୍ଭେ କʼଣ ଉଡ଼ନ୍ତା ପତ୍ରକୁ ଡରାଇବ? ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କʼଣ ଶୁଖିଲା କୁଟା ପଛେ ପଛେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇବ?
Against a leaf, that is carried away with the wind, thou shewest thy power, and thou pursuest a dry straw.
26 କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ତିକ୍ତ କଥା ଲେଖୁଅଛ ଓ ମୋʼ ଯୌବନ କାଳର ଅପରାଧ ଭୋଗ କରାଉଅଛ;
For thou writest bitter things against me, and wilt consume me for the sins of my youth.
27 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯନ୍ତାରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋହର ଚରଣ ରଖୁଅଛ ଓ ମୋହର ସବୁ ଗତି ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ କରୁଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ଚରଣର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ଆପଣା ପାଇଁ ରେଖା ଟାଣୁଅଛ;
Thou hast put my feet in the stocks, and hast observed all my paths, and hast considered the steps of my feet:
28 ତଥାପି ମୁଁ କ୍ଷୟ ପାଉଥିବା ଜୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ-ପଦାର୍ଥ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଓ କୀଟ-ଭକ୍ଷିତ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଅଟେ।
Who am to be consumed as rottenness, and as a garment that is moth-eaten.
