ଆୟୁବ 12
1 ତହୁଁ ଆୟୁବ ଉତ୍ତର କରି କହିଲା,
Sotheli Joob answeride, and seide,
2 “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତ ଲୋକ, ସନ୍ଦେହ ନାହିଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଜ୍ଞାନ ମରିଯିବ।
Therfor ben ye men aloone, that wisdom dwelle with you?
3 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ଆମ୍ଭର ବୁଦ୍ଧି ଅଛି; ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଊଣା ନୁହେଁ; ହଁ, ଏପରି କଥାସବୁ କିଏ ନ ଜାଣେ?
And to me is an herte, as and to you, and Y am not lowere than ye; for who knowith not these thingis, whiche ye knowen?
4 ମୁଁ ମୋହର ବନ୍ଧୁମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ହାସ୍ୟାସ୍ପଦ ଲୋକ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହୋଇଅଛି, ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ଡାକନ୍ତେ, ସେ ମୋତେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ; ଧାର୍ମିକ, ସିଦ୍ଧ ଲୋକ ହାସ୍ୟାସ୍ପଦ ହୋଇଅଛି।
He that is scorned of his frend, as Y am, schal inwardli clepe God, and God schal here hym; for the symplenesse of a iust man is scorned.
5 ସୁଖରେ ଥିବା ଲୋକର ବୋଧରେ ବିପଦ ତୁଚ୍ଛନୀୟ; ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କର ପାଦ ଖସିଯାଏ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ।
A laumpe is dispisid at the thouytis of riche men, and the laumpe is maad redi to a tyme ordeyned.
6 ଡକାୟତମାନଙ୍କର ତମ୍ବୁ ନିରାପଦ ହୁଏ ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ବିରକ୍ତ କରିବା ଲୋକେ ନିର୍ବିଘ୍ନରେ ରହନ୍ତି; ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ବହୁତ ଦିଅନ୍ତି।
The tabernaclis of robberis ben plenteuouse, `ether ful of goodis; and boldli thei terren God to wraththe, whanne he hath youe alle thingis in to her hondis.
7 ମାତ୍ର ଏବେ ପଶୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଚାର, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେବେ ଓ ଆକାଶର ପକ୍ଷୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଚାର, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜଣାଇବେ;
No wondur, ax thou beestis, and tho schulen teche thee; and axe thou volatilis of the eir, and tho schulen schewe to thee.
8 ଅବା ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ବୋଲ, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେବ ଓ ସମୁଦ୍ରର ମତ୍ସ୍ୟମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବେ।
Speke thou to the erthe, and it schal answere thee; and the fischis of the see schulen telle tho thingis.
9 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ଯେ ଏହା କରିଅଛି, ଏସକଳ ଦ୍ୱାରା କିଏ ନ ଜାଣେ?
Who knowith not that the hond of the Lord made alle these thingis?
10 ତାହାଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଜୀବର ପ୍ରାଣ ଓ ସମୁଦାୟ ନରବଂଶର ଶ୍ୱାସବାୟୁ ଅଛି।
In whos hond the soule is of ech lyuynge thing, and the spirit, `that is, resonable soule, of ech fleisch of man.
11 ଯେପରି ରସନା ଖାଦ୍ୟର ଆସ୍ୱାଦ ପାଏ, ସେପରି କର୍ଣ୍ଣ କʼଣ କଥାର ପରୀକ୍ଷା ନ କରେ?
Whether the eere demeth not wordis, and the chekis of the etere demen sauour?
12 ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଅଛି ଓ ଦୀର୍ଘାୟୁରେ ବୁଦ୍ଧି ଥାଏ।
Wisdom is in elde men, and prudence is in myche tyme.
13 ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ପରାକ୍ରମ ଥାଏ; ତାହାଙ୍କର ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଓ ବୁଦ୍ଧି ଅଛି।
Wisdom and strengthe is at God; he hath counsel and vndurstondyng.
14 ଦେଖ, ସେ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ତାହା ପୁନଃନିର୍ମିତ ହୋଇ ନ ପାରେ; ସେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟକୁ ରୁଦ୍ଧ କଲେ, ଆଉ ମୁକୁଳା ହୋଇ ନ ପାରେ।
If he distrieth, no man is that bildith; if he schittith in a man, `noon is that openith.
15 ଦେଖ, ସେ ଜଳରାଶିକି ଅଟକାଇଲେ, ତାହାସବୁ ଶୁଷ୍କ ହୋଇଯାଏ; ପୁନର୍ବାର ସେ ତାହା ପଠାଇଦେଲେ, ତାହା ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ଓଲଟପାଲଟ କରି ପକାଏ।
If he holdith togidere watris, alle thingis schulen be maad drie; if he sendith out tho watris, tho schulen distrie the erthe.
16 ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ବଳ ଓ ଫଳଦାୟକ କର୍ମଣ୍ୟତା ଥାଏ; ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଓ ଭ୍ରାମକ ତାହାଙ୍କର।
Strengthe and wisdom is at God; he knowith bothe hym that disseyueth and hym that is disseyued.
17 ସେ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଲୁଟିତ କରି ନେଇଯାʼନ୍ତି ଓ ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତୃଗଣକୁ ସେ ନିର୍ବୋଧ କରନ୍ତି।
And he bryngith conselours in to a fonned eende, and iugis in to wondryng, ethir astonying.
18 ସେ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କର ବନ୍ଧନ ମୁକ୍ତ କରନ୍ତି ଓ କଟିବନ୍ଧନୀରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ କଟି ବାନ୍ଧନ୍ତି।
He vnbindith the girdil of kyngis, and girdith her reynes with a coorde.
19 ସେ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଲୁଟିତ କରି ନେଇଯାʼନ୍ତି ଓ ବିକ୍ରମୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରନ୍ତି।
He ledith her prestis with out glorie, and he disseyueth the principal men, `ethir counselours;
20 ସେ ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତମାନଙ୍କ ବଚନ ଅନ୍ୟଥା କରନ୍ତି ଓ ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନଙ୍କ ବୁଦ୍ଧିକୁ ହରଣ କରି ନିଅନ୍ତି।
and he chaungith the lippis of sothefast men, and takith awei the doctrine of elde men.
21 ସେ ଅଧିକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ତୁଚ୍ଛତା ଢାଳନ୍ତି; ଓ ବଳବାନର ପଟୁକା ଫିଟାଇ ପକାନ୍ତି।
He schedith out dispisyng on princes, and releeueth hem, that weren oppressid.
22 ସେ ଅନ୍ଧକାରରୁ ନିଗୂଢ଼ ବିଷୟ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ମୃତ୍ୟୁୁଚ୍ଛାୟାକୁ ଆଲୁଅକୁ ଆଣନ୍ତି।
Which schewith depe thingis fro derknessis; and bryngith forth in to liyt the schadewe of deeth.
23 ସେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରନ୍ତି ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିନାଶ କରନ୍ତି; ସେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାହାରେ ବିସ୍ତୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭିତରେ ଆଣନ୍ତି।
Which multiplieth folkis, and leesith hem, and restorith hem destried in to the hool.
24 ସେ ପୃଥିବୀସ୍ଥ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଧାନବର୍ଗର ହୃଦୟ ହରଣ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଥହୀନ ମରୁଭୂମିରେ ଭ୍ରମଣ କରାନ୍ତି।
Which chaungith the herte of princes of the puple of erthe; and disseyueth hem, that thei go in veyn out of the weie.
25 ସେମାନେ ଆଲୁଅରହିତ ହୋଇ ଅନ୍ଧକାରରେ ଦରାଣ୍ଡି ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ମତ୍ତ ଲୋକ ପରି ଟଳମଳ କରାନ୍ତି।
Thei schulen grope, as in derknessis, and not in liyt; and he schal make hem to erre as drunken men.
