ଯିରିମୀୟ 31
1 “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସମୁଦାୟ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ହେବା ଓ ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକ ହେବେ।”
At that time, an affirmation of Jehovah, I am for God to all families of Israel, And they — they are to Me for a people.
2 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, “ଖଡ୍ଗରୁ ରକ୍ଷାପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନେ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରରେ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲେ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ଗମନ କଲା ବେଳେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ତାହା ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲା।”
Thus said Jehovah: Found grace in the wilderness Hath a people remaining from the sword Going to cause it to rest — Israel.
3 “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପୁରାତନ କାଳରେ ମୋତେ ଦର୍ଶନ ଦେଇ କହିଲେ, ହଁ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଚିରସ୍ଥାୟୀ ପ୍ରେମରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରି ଆସିଅଛୁ, ଏହେତୁ ସ୍ନେହପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣାରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆକର୍ଷଣ କରିଅଛୁ।
From afar Jehovah hath appeared to me, With love age-during I have loved thee, Therefore I have drawn thee [with] kindness.
4 ହେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ କୁମାରୀ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଗଢ଼ିବା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଗଢ଼ାଯିବ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଆପଣା ତବଲରେ ବିଭୂଷିତା ହେବ ଓ ଆନନ୍ଦକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ନୃତ୍ୟ କରି ଗମନ କରିବ।
Again do I build thee, And thou hast been built, O virgin of Israel, Again thou puttest on thy tabrets, And hast gone out in the chorus of the playful.
5 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଶମରୀୟାର ପର୍ବତରେ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାକ୍ଷେତ୍ର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବ, ରୋପଣକାରୀମାନେ ରୋପଣ କରି ତହିଁର ଫଳ ଭୋଗ କରିବେ।
Again thou dost plant vineyards In mountains of Samaria, Planters have planted, and made common.
6 କାରଣ ଯେଉଁ ଦିନରେ ପ୍ରହରୀମାନେ ଇଫ୍ରୟିମ ପର୍ବତରେ ଘୋଷଣା କରି କହିବେ, ‘ଉଠ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସିୟୋନକୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଛାମୁକୁ ଯାଉ, ଏପରି ଦିନ ଆସିବ।’”
For there is a day, Cried have watchmen on mount Ephraim, 'Rise, and we go up to Zion, unto Jehovah our God;
7 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯାକୁବ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆନନ୍ଦରେ ଗାନ କର ଓ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀବର୍ଗର ଅଗ୍ରଗଣ୍ୟ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଜୟଧ୍ୱନି କର; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରଚାର କରି, ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରି କୁହ, ‘ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟାଂଶକୁ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ କର।’
For thus said Jehovah: Sing, O ye to Jacob, [with] joy, And cry aloud at the head of the nations, Sound ye, praise ye, and say, Save, O Jehovah, thy people, the remnant of Israel.
8 ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶରୁ ଆଣିବା, ପୁଣି ପୃଥିବୀର ପ୍ରାନ୍ତଭାଗରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଅନ୍ଧ ଓ ଛୋଟା, ଗର୍ଭବତୀ ଓ ପ୍ରସବ ବେଦନାଗ୍ରସ୍ତା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀକୁ ଏକତ୍ର ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିବା; ସେମାନେ ମହାଲୋକାରଣ୍ୟ ହୋଇ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଆସିବେ।
Lo, I am bringing them in from the north country, And have gathered them from the sides of the earth, Among them [are] blind and lame, Conceiving and travailing one — together, A great assembly — they turn back hither.
9 ସେମାନେ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କରୁ କରୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆନୀତ ହେବେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଜଳ ନଦୀମାନର ନିକଟ ଦେଇ ସଳଖ ପଥରେ ଗମନ କରାଇବା, ସେ ପଥରେ ସେମାନେ ଝୁଣ୍ଟିବେ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପିତା ଓ ଇଫ୍ରୟିମ ଆମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ସନ୍ତାନ।
With weeping they come in, And with supplications I bring them, I cause them to go unto streams of waters, In a right way — they stumble not in it, For I have been to Israel for a father, And Ephraim — My first-born [is] he.
10 ହେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀବର୍ଗ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣ ଓ ଦୂରସ୍ଥ ଦ୍ୱୀପସମୂହରେ ତାହା ପ୍ରଚାର କରି କୁହ, ‘ଯେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ କଲେ, ସେ ତାହାକୁ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିବେ, ଆଉ ପାଳକ ଯେପରି ଆପଣା ପଲ ରକ୍ଷା କରେ, ସେପରି ସେ ତାହାକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ।’
Hear a word of Jehovah, O nations, And declare ye among isles afar off, and say: He who is scattering Israel doth gather him, And hath kept him as a shepherd [doth] his flock,
11 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯାକୁବକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ତାହା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ବଳବାନର ହସ୍ତରୁ ତାହାକୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
For Jehovah hath ransomed Jacob, And redeemed him from a hand stronger than he.
12 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ଆସି ସିୟୋନର ଶୃଙ୍ଗରେ ଗାନ କରିବେ ଓ ସ୍ରୋତ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉତ୍ତମତାର ନିକଟକୁ, ଶସ୍ୟ ଓ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ, ତୈଳ ଓ ପଲର ମେଷବତ୍ସ ଓ ଗୋପଲର ଗୋବତ୍ସ ନିକଟକୁ ବହି ଆସିବେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାଣ ସୁସିକ୍ତ ଉଦ୍ୟାନ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେବ; ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ଆଉ କିଛି ଶୋକ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
And they have come in, And have sung in the high place of Zion, And flowed unto the goodness of Jehovah, For wheat, and for new wine, and for oil, And for the young of the flock and herd, And their soul hath been as a watered garden, And they add not to grieve any more.
13 ସେତେବେଳେ କୁମାରୀଗଣ ନୃତ୍ୟରେ, ପୁଣି, ଯୁବା ଓ ବୃଦ୍ଧମାନେ ଏକତ୍ର ଆନନ୍ଦ କରିବେ, କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଶୋକକୁ ଆନନ୍ଦରେ ପରିଣତ କରିବା, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନା କରିବା ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦୁଃଖରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ କରିବା।
Then rejoice doth a virgin in a chorus, Both young men and old men — together, And I have turned their mourning to joy, And have comforted them, And gladdened them above their sorrow,
14 ଆଉ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ପୁଷ୍ଟିକର ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟରେ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାଣ ପରିତୃପ୍ତ କରିବା ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଉତ୍ତମତାରେ ପରିତୃପ୍ତ ହେବେ,” ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।
And satisfied the soul of the priests [with] fatness, And My people with My goodness are satisfied, An affirmation of Jehovah.
15 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, “ରାମାରେ ହାହାକାର ଓ ତୀବ୍ର ରୋଦନର ଶବ୍ଦ ଶୁଣାଯାଏ, ରାହେଲ ଆପଣା ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ରୋଦନ କରୁଅଛି; ସେ ଆପଣା ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ବିଷୟରେ ପ୍ରବୋଧ କଥା ମାନୁ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ନାହାନ୍ତି।”
Thus said Jehovah, A voice in Ramah is heard, wailing, weeping most bitter, Rachel is weeping for her sons, She hath refused to be comforted for her sons, because they are not.
16 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, “ତୁମ୍ଭ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନର ଶବ୍ଦ ଓ ଚକ୍ଷୁର ଲୋତକ ନିବୃତ୍ତ କର; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ କର୍ମର ପୁରସ୍କାର ଦତ୍ତ ହେବ, ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି; ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ ଶତ୍ରୁର ଦେଶରୁ ଫେରି ଆସିବେ।
Thus said Jehovah: Withhold thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears, For there is a reward for thy work, An affirmation of Jehovah, And they have turned back from the land of the enemy.
17 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅନ୍ତିମକାଳ ବିଷୟରେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଶା ଅଛି; ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ସୀମାକୁ ଆସିବେ।
And there is hope for thy latter end, An affirmation of Jehovah, And the sons have turned back [to] their border.
18 ଆମ୍ଭେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ଇଫ୍ରୟିମକୁ ଆପଣା ବିଷୟରେ ବିଳାପ କରି ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର କହିବା ଶୁଣିଅଛୁ, ‘ମୁଁ ଅମଣା ବାଛୁରି ପରି ବୋଲି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦେଇଅଛ ଓ ମୁଁ ଶାସ୍ତି ଭୋଗ କରିଅଛି; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଫେରାଅ, ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ଫେରିବି; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର।
I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself, 'Thou hast chastised me, And I am chastised, as a heifer not taught, Turn me back, and I turn back, For thou [art] Jehovah my God.
19 ମୁଁ ଫେରିଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ନିତାନ୍ତ ଅନୁତାପ କଲି ଓ ଶିକ୍ଷା ପାଇଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଆପଣା ଊରୁ ଦେଶରେ ଆଘାତ କଲି; ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଯୌବନ କାଳରେ ଅପମାନ ଭୋଗ କରିବାରୁ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ଓ ବ୍ୟାକୁଳ ହେଲି।’
For after my turning back I repented, And after my being instructed I struck on the thigh, I have been ashamed, I have also blushed, For I have borne the reproach of my youth.
20 ଇଫ୍ରୟିମ କି ଆମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରିୟ ପୁତ୍ର? ସେ କି ଆନନ୍ଦଦାୟୀ ବାଳକ? କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେତେ ଥର ତାହା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ କଥା କହୁ, ସେତେଥର ଆଗ୍ରହରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରୁ; ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତାହା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଅନ୍ତର ବ୍ୟାକୁଳ ହୁଏ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅବଶ୍ୟ ତାହାକୁ ଦୟା କରିବା, ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।
A precious son is Ephraim to Me? A child of delights? For since My speaking against him, I do thoroughly remember him still, Therefore have My bowels been moved for him, I do greatly love him, An affirmation of Jehovah.
21 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ଥାନେ ସ୍ଥାନେ ଆପଣା ପାଇଁ ପଥ ଚିହ୍ନ ରଖ ଓ ପଥପ୍ରଦର୍ଶକ ସ୍ତମ୍ଭ ନିର୍ମାଣ କର; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ପଥରେ ଗମନ କରିଥିଲ, ସେହି ରାଜପଥରେ ମନୋନିବେଶ କର; ହେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ କୁମାରୀ, ଫେରି ଆସ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଏହିସବୁ ନଗରକୁ ଫେରି ଆସ।
Set up for thee signs, make for thee heaps, Set thy heart to the highway, the way thou wentest, Turn back, O virgin of Israel, Turn back unto these thy cities.
22 ହେ ବିପଥଗାମିନୀ କନ୍ୟେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କେତେ କାଳ ଏଣେତେଣେ ଭ୍ରମଣ କରିବ? କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ଏକ ନୂତନ ବିଷୟ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଜଣେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଜଣେ ପୁରୁଷକୁ ବେଷ୍ଟନ କରିବ।”
Till when dost thou withdraw thyself, O backsliding daughter? For Jehovah hath prepared a new thing in the land, Woman doth compass man.
23 ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି: “ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବନ୍ଦୀତ୍ୱାବସ୍ଥା ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରିବା, ସେସମୟରେ ଯିହୁଦା ଦେଶରେ ଓ ତହିଁର ନଗରସକଳରେ ସେମାନେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଏହି କଥା ବ୍ୟବହାର କରିବେ, ‘ହେ ଧର୍ମନିବାସ, ହେ ପବିତ୍ର ପର୍ବତ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରନ୍ତୁ।’
Thus said Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, Still they say this word in the land of Judah, And in its cities, In My turning back [to] their captivity, Jehovah doth bless thee, habitation of righteousness, Mountain of holiness.
24 ପୁଣି, ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ତହିଁର ନଗରସକଳ, ଆଉ କୃଷକ ଓ ପଲ ନେଇ ଭ୍ରମଣକାରୀମାନେ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏକତ୍ର ବାସ କରିବେ।
And dwelt in Judah have husbandmen, and in all its cities together, And they have journeyed in order.
25 କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ କ୍ଳାନ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ପରିତୃପ୍ତ କରିଅଛୁ, ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଦୁଃଖିତ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିଅଛୁ।”
For I have satiated the weary soul, And every grieved soul I have filled.'
26 ଏଥିରେ ମୁଁ ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହୋଇ ଦେଖିଲି ଓ ମୋର ନିଦ୍ରା ମୋʼ ପ୍ରତି ସୁଖଦାୟକ ଥିଲା।
On this I have awaked, and I behold, and my sleep hath been sweet to me.
27 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, “ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶ ଓ ଯିହୁଦା ବଂଶ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଓ ପଶୁ ରୂପ ବୀଜ ବପନ କରିବା, ଏପରି ସମୟ ଆସୁଅଛି।
Lo, days are coming, an affirmation of Jehovah, And I have sown the house of Israel, And the house of Judah, With seed of man, and seed of beast.
28 ଆଉ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ପାଟନ, ଭଗ୍ନ, ନିପାତ ଓ ବିନାଶ କରିବାକୁ ଓ କ୍ଳେଶ ଦେବାକୁ ଜଗି ରହିଲୁ; ସେପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିର୍ମାଣ ଓ ରୋପଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଜଗି ରହିବା, ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।
And it hath been, as I watched over them to pluck up, And to break down, and to throw down, And to destroy, and to afflict; So do I watch over them to build, and to plant, An affirmation of Jehovah.
29 ‘ପିତୃଗଣ ଅମ୍ଳ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଫଳ ଖାଇଲେ, ଆଉ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଦାନ୍ତ ଖଟା ହୋଇଅଛି,’ ଏପରି କଥା ସେସମୟରେ ଆଉ କୁହାଯିବ ନାହିଁ।
In those days they do not say any more: Fathers have eaten unripe fruit, And the sons' teeth are blunted.
30 ମାତ୍ର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଲୋକ ନିଜ ଅଧର୍ମ ସକାଶୁ ମରିବ, ଆଉ ଯେଉଁ ଜନ ଅମ୍ଳ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଫଳ ଖାଏ, ତାହାରି ଦାନ୍ତ ଖଟା ହେବ।
But — each for his own iniquity doth die, Every man who is eating the unripe fruit, Blunted are his teeth.
31 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶ ଓ ଯିହୁଦା ବଂଶ ସହିତ ଏକ ନୂତନ ନିୟମ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା, ଏପରି ସମୟ ଆସୁଅଛି;
Lo, days are coming, an affirmation of Jehovah, And I have made with the house of Israel And with the house of Judah a new covenant,
32 ମିସର ଦେଶରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣକୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତ ଧରିବା ଦିନ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଆମ୍ଭର କୃତ ନିୟମାନୁସାରେ ନୁହେଁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱାମୀ ହେଲେ ହେଁ ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ସେହି ନିୟମ ଲଙ୍ଘନ କଲେ।
Not like the covenant that I made with their fathers, In the day of My laying hold on their hand, To bring them out of the land of Egypt, In that they made void My covenant, And I ruled over them — an affirmation of Jehovah.
33 ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ସେହି ସକଳ ଦିନର ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶ ସହିତ ଏହି ନିୟମ ସ୍ଥିର କରିବା; ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତରରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ରଖିବା ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହୃଦୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ଲେଖିବା; ଆଉ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ହେବା ଓ ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକ ହେବେ;
For this [is] the covenant that I make, With the house of Israel, after those days, An affirmation of Jehovah, I have given My law in their inward part, And on their heart I do write it, And I have been to them for God, And they are to me for a people.
34 ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ଜ୍ଞାତ ହୁଅ ବୋଲି କହି ସେମାନେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବାସୀକୁ ଓ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଭ୍ରାତାକୁ ଆଉ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେବେ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ରତମଠାରୁ ମହତ୍ତମ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସମସ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଜ୍ଞାତ ହେବେ; ଯେହେତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଅପରାଧ କ୍ଷମା କରିବା ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପାପ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆଉ ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବା ନାହିଁ।”
And they do not teach any more Each his neighbour, and each his brother, Saying, Know ye Jehovah, For they all know Me, from their least unto their greatest, An affirmation of Jehovah; For I pardon their iniquity, And of their sin I make mention no more.
35 ଦିବସରେ ଜ୍ୟୋତିଃ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ଯେ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ରାତ୍ରିରେ ଜ୍ୟୋତିଃ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ଯେ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ରର ଓ ନକ୍ଷତ୍ରଗଣର ବିଧାନାଦି ସ୍ଥାପନ କରନ୍ତି, ଯେ ସମୁଦ୍ରକୁ ସଞ୍ଚାଳିତ କରି ତହିଁର ତରଙ୍ଗ ସମୂହକୁ ଗର୍ଜ୍ଜନ କରାନ୍ତି, ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ଖ୍ୟାତ ସେହି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି:
Thus said Jehovah, Who is giving the sun for a light by day, The statutes of moon and stars for a light by night, Quieting the sea when its billows roar, Jehovah of Hosts [is] His name:
36 “ଯଦି ଏହି ସକଳ ବିଧାନ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରୁ ବିଚଳିତ ହୁଏ, ତେବେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶ ହିଁ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ସଦାକାଳ ଏକ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ହୋଇ ରହିବା ପାଇଁ ନିବୃତ୍ତ ହେବେ,” ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।
If these statutes depart from before Me, An affirmation of Jehovah, Even the seed of Israel doth cease From being a nation before Me all the days.
37 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି: “ଯଦି ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱସ୍ଥ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳ ପରିମିତ ହୋଇପାରେ ଓ ଅଧଃସ୍ଥ ପୃଥିବୀର ମୂଳ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରାଯାଇପାରେ, ତେବେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶର କୃତ ସକଳ କ୍ରିୟା ସକାଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୂର କରିଦେବା,” ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।
Thus said Jehovah: If the heavens above be measured, And the foundations of earth below searched, Even I kick against all the seed of Israel, For all that they have done, An affirmation of Jehovah.
38 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, “ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ନଗର ହନନେଲର ଦୁର୍ଗଠାରୁ କୋଣ ଦ୍ୱାର ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ନିର୍ମିତ ହେବ, ଏପରି ସମୟ ଆସୁଅଛି।
Lo, days [are coming], an affirmation of Jehovah, And the city hath been built to Jehovah, From the tower of Hananeel to the gate of the corner.
39 ଆଉ, ସେଠାରୁ ପରିମାଣ ରଜ୍ଜୁ ଗାରେବ୍ ଉପପର୍ବତ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସଳଖ ଯିବ ଓ ବୁଲି ଗୋୟା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଯିବ।
And gone out again hath the measuring line Over-against it, unto the height of Gareb, And it hath compassed to Goah.
40 ପୁଣି, ଶବ ଓ ଭସ୍ମର ସମୁଦାୟ ଉପତ୍ୟକା ଓ କିଦ୍ରୋଣ ସ୍ରୋତ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସକଳ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର, ପୂର୍ବଦିଗସ୍ଥ ଅଶ୍ୱଦ୍ୱାରର କୋଣ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ପବିତ୍ର ହେବ; ତାହା ସଦାକାଳ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆଉ ଉତ୍ପାଟିତ କିଅବା ନିପାତିତ ହେବ ନାହିଁ।”
And all the valley of the carcases and of the ashes, And all the fields unto the brook Kidron, Unto the corner of the horse-gate eastward, [Are] holy to Jehovah, it is not plucked up, Nor is it thrown down any more to the age!
