ଯିରିମୀୟ 30

1 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଯିରିମୀୟଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା, ଯଥା,

This is the word, that was maad of the Lord to Jeremye,

2 “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯେଉଁ ସକଳ କଥା କହିଅଛୁ, ତାହା ଗୋଟିଏ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲେଖି ରଖ।

and seide, The Lord God of Israel seith these thingis, and spekith, Write to thee in a book, alle these wordis whiche Y spak to thee.

3 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଓ ଯିହୁଦାର ବନ୍ଦୀତ୍ୱାବସ୍ଥା ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରିବା, ଏପରି ସମୟ ଆସୁଅଛି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି; ହଁ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଦେଇଅଛୁ, ସେହି ଦେଶକୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଫେରାଇ ଆଣିବା ଓ ସେମାନେ ତାହା ଅଧିକାର କରିବେ।”

For lo! daies comen, seith the Lord, and Y schal turne the turnyng of my puple Israel and Juda, seith the Lord; and Y schal turne hem to the lond which Y yaf to the fadris of hem, and thei schulen haue it in possessioun.

4 ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଓ ଯିହୁଦା ବିଷୟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର କଥିତ ବାକ୍ୟ ଏହି।

And these ben the wordis, whiche the Lord spak to Israel, and to Juda,

5 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ କମ୍ପିବାର ଓ ଭୟର ଶବ୍ଦ ଶୁଣିଅଛୁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଶାନ୍ତିର ଶବ୍ଦ ନୁହେଁ।

For the Lord seith these thingis, We herden a word of drede; inward drede is, and pees is not.

6 କୌଣସି ପୁରୁଷର ପ୍ରସବବେଦନା ହେଉଅଛି କି ନାହିଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପଚାରି ବୁଝ; ପ୍ରସବବେଦନାର ସମୟରେ ଯେପରି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକର, ସେପରି ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ପୁରୁଷର ଆପଣା କଟିଦେଶରେ ହସ୍ତ ଦେବାର ଓ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ମୁଖ ମଳିନ ହେବାର ଆମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ଦେଖୁଅଛୁ?

Axe ye, and se, if a male berith child; whi therfor siy Y the hond of ech man on his leende, as of a womman trauelynge of child, and alle faces ben turned in to yelow colour?

7 ହାୟ ହାୟ! ସେ ଦିନ ମହତ, ତାହା ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଦିନ ଆଉ ନାହିଁ, ତାହା ଯାକୁବର ସଙ୍କଟ କାଳ; ମାତ୍ର ସେ ତହିଁରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ପାଇବ।

Wo! for thilke day is greet, nether ony is lyk it; and it is a tyme of tribulacioun to Jacob, and of hym schal be sauyd.

8 ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେହି ଦିନ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସ୍କନ୍ଧରୁ ତାହାର ଯୁଆଳି ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇବା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବନ୍ଧନସବୁ ଛିଣ୍ଡାଇ ଦେବା; ପୁଣି, ବିଦେଶୀମାନେ ଆଉ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ଦାସ୍ୟକର୍ମ ତାହାକୁ କରାଇବେ ନାହିଁ।

And it schal be, in that dai, seith the Lord of oostis, Y schal al to-breke the yok of hym fro thi necke, and Y schal breke hise boondis; and aliens schulen no more be lordis of it,

9 ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯାହାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ କରିବା, ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ସେହି ରାଜା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଦାସ୍ୟକର୍ମ କରିବେ।

but thei schulen serue to her Lord God, and to Dauid, her kyng, whom Y schal reyse for hem.

10 “ଏହେତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ହେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଦାସ ଯାକୁବ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ; ଅଥବା ହେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ, ନିରାଶ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦୂରରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଓ ବନ୍ଦୀତ୍ୱ ଦେଶରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବଂଶକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବୁ, ପୁଣି ଯାକୁବ ଫେରିଆସି ଶାନ୍ତିରେ ଓ ନିରାପଦରେ ରହିବ ଓ କେହି ତାହାକୁ ଭୟ ଦେଖାଇବ ନାହିଁ।

Therfor, Jacob, my seruaunt, drede thou not, seith the Lord, and Israel, drede thou not; for lo! Y schal saue thee fro a fer lond, and thi seed fro the lond of the caitiftee of hem. And Jacob schal turne ayen, and schal reste, and schal flowe with alle goodis; and noon schal be whom he schal drede.

11 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଅଛୁ; ହଁ, ଯେଉଁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ କରିଅଛୁ, ସେହି ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ନିଃଶେଷ ରୂପେ ସଂହାର କରିବା, ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ନିଃଶେଷ ରୂପେ ସଂହାର କରିବା ନାହିଁ; ତଥାପି ଆମ୍ଭେ ବିବେଚନାପୂର୍ବକ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦେବା ଓ କୌଣସିମତେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ନ ଦେଇ ଛାଡ଼ିବା ନାହିଁ।

For Y am with thee, seith the Lord, for to saue thee. For Y schal make endyng in alle folkis, in whiche Y scateride thee; sotheli Y schal not make thee in to endyng, but Y schal chastise thee in doom, that thou be not seyn to thee to be gilteles.

12 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭର କ୍ଷତ ଅପ୍ରତୀକାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଘାʼ ବ୍ୟଥାଜନକ।

For the Lord seith these thingis, Thi brekyng is vncurable, thi wounde is the worste.

13 ତୁମ୍ଭର କ୍ଷତ ଯେପରି ବନ୍ଧା ଯିବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସପକ୍ଷରେ ପ୍ରତିବାଦ କରିବାକୁ କେହି ନାହିଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟଜନକ ଔଷଧ ନାହିଁ।

Noon is, that demeth thi doom to bynde togidere; the profit of heelyngis is not to thee.

14 ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରେମକାରୀ ସମସ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପାସୋରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଖୋଜନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଧର୍ମ ବହୁଳ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପାପ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ହେବା ସକାଶୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଶତ୍ରୁ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଆଘାତ କରିଅଛୁ ଓ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୟ ଲୋକ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦେଇଅଛୁ।

Alle thi louyeris han foryete thee, thei schulen not seke thee; for Y haue smyte thee with the wounde of an enemy, with cruel chastisyng; for the multitude of thi wickidnesse, thi synnes ben maad hard.

15 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା କ୍ଷତ ସକାଶୁ କାହିଁକି କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କରୁଅଛ? ତୁମ୍ଭର ବେଦନା ଅପ୍ରତୀକାର୍ଯ୍ୟ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଧର୍ମ ବହୁଳ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପାପ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ହେବା ସକାଶୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଏହିସବୁ କରିଅଛୁ।

What criest thou on thi brekynge? thi sorewe is vncurable; for the multitude of thi wickidnesse, and for thin hard synnes, Y haue do these thingis to thee.

16 ଏହେତୁ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଗ୍ରାସିତ ହେବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିପକ୍ଷ ସମସ୍ତେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଜଣର ବନ୍ଦୀତ୍ୱ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଯିବେ ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଲୁଟନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଲୁଟିତ ହେବେ; ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ହରଣ କରନ୍ତି, ସେହି ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ଆମ୍ଭେ ହରଣ କରାଇବା।

Therfor alle that eeten thee, schulen be deuourid, and alle thin enemyes schulen be led in to caitifte; and thei that distrien thee, schulen be distried, and Y schal yyue alle thi robberis in to raueyn.

17 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଆରୋଗ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିବା ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଘାʼ ସବୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ କରିବା; କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦୂରୀକୃତା ବୋଲି ଡାକି କହନ୍ତି, ଏ ସିୟୋନ, ଏହାକୁ କେହି ଚାହେଁ ନାହିଁ।

For Y schal heele perfitli thi wounde, and Y schal make thee hool of thi woundis, seith the Lord; for thou, Sion, thei clepeden thee cast out; this is it that hadde no sekere.

18 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯାକୁବର ତମ୍ବୁସକଳର ବନ୍ଦୀତ୍ୱ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରିବା ଓ ତାହାର ସକଳ ବାସସ୍ଥାନ ପ୍ରତି ଦୟା କରିବା; ତହିଁରେ ନଗର ଆପଣାର ଉପପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ନିର୍ମିତ ହେବ ଓ ରାଜଗୃହ ତହିଁର ରୀତିମତେ ରହିବ।

The Lord seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal turne the turnyng of the tabernaclis of Jacob, and Y schal haue merci on the housis of hym; and the citee schal be bildid in his hiynesse, and the temple schal be foundid bi his ordre.

19 ଆଉ, ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଓ ଆନନ୍ଦକାରୀମାନଙ୍କର ଧ୍ୱନି ନିର୍ଗତ ହେବ; ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରିବା ଓ ସେମାନେ ଅଳ୍ପସଂଖ୍ୟକ ହେବେ ନାହିଁ; ଆହୁରି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗୌରବାନ୍ୱିତ କରିବା ଓ ସେମାନେ କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ହେବେ ନାହିଁ।

And heriyng and the vois of pleiers schal go out of hem, and Y schal multiplie hem, and thei schulen not be decreessid; and Y schal glorifie hem, and thei schulen not be maad thynne.

20 ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟ ପୂର୍ବ ପରି ହେବେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ଆମ୍ଭ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ସ୍ଥିରୀକୃତ ହେବ ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଉପଦ୍ରବ କରନ୍ତି, ସେସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦେବା।

And the sones therof schulen be as at the bigynnyng, and the cumpeny therof schal dwelle bifore me; and Y schal visite ayens alle that doon tribulacioun to it.

21 ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଅଧିପତି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ହେବେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ନିର୍ଗତ ହେବେ; ଆଉ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣାର ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ କରାଇବା ଓ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବେ, କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବା ପାଇଁ ଯେ ସାହସ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ କିଏ?

And the duyk therof schal be of it, and a prince schal be brouyt forth of the myddis therof; and Y schal applie hym, and he schal neiye to me; for who is this, that schal applie his herte, that he neiye to me? seith the Lord.

22 ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକ ହେବ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ହେବା।”

And ye schulen be in to a puple to me, and Y schal be in to God to you.

23 ଦେଖ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ତୋଫାନ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡ କ୍ରୋଧ, ସର୍ବନାଶକାରୀ ତୋଫାନ ନିର୍ଗତ ହୋଇଅଛି; ତାହା ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କ ମସ୍ତକରେ ଲାଗିବ।

Lo! the whirlewynd of the Lord, a strong veniaunce goynge out, a tempest fallynge doun, schal reste in the heed of wickid men.

24 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ମନର ଅଭିପ୍ରାୟ ସଫଳ ଓ ସିଦ୍ଧ ନ କରିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ କ୍ରୋଧ ନିବୃତ୍ତ ହେବ ନାହିଁ; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅନ୍ତିମ କାଳରେ ଏହା ବୁଝିବ।

The Lord schal not turne awey the ire of indignacioun, til he do, and fille the thouyt of his herte; in the laste of daies ye schulen vndurstonde tho thingis.
