ଯିରିମୀୟ 23
1 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, “ଯେଉଁ ପାଳକମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଚରାସ୍ଥାନର ମେଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ନଷ୍ଟ ଓ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ସନ୍ତାପର ପାତ୍ର!”
“Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!” says Yahweh.
2 ଏନିମନ୍ତେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ପାଳନକାରୀ ପାଳକମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ପଲକୁ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ କରି ଦୂରକୁ ତଡ଼ି ଦେଇଅଛ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ତତ୍ତ୍ୱାନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରି ନାହଁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମର ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦେବା।
Therefore Yahweh, the God of Israel, says against the shepherds who feed my people: “You have scattered my flock, driven them away, and have not visited them. Behold, I will visit on you the evil of your doings,” says Yahweh.
3 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶକୁ ଆପଣା ପଲକୁ ତଡ଼ି ଦେଇଅଛୁ, ସେହି ସବୁ ଦେଶରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟାଂଶ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିବା, ଆଉ ପୁନର୍ବାର ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଖୁଆଡ଼କୁ ଆଣିବା; ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନେ ପ୍ରଜାବନ୍ତ ଓ ବହୁସଂଖ୍ୟକ ହେବେ।
“I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they will be fruitful and multiply.
4 ଆଉ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପାଳକଗଣ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିବା, ସେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚରାଇବେ; ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ଆଉ ଭୀତ କି ନିରାଶ ହେବେ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ସେମାନଙ୍କର କେହି ଅନୁପସ୍ଥିତ ହେବେ ନାହିଁ, ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।
I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them. They will no longer be afraid or dismayed, neither will any be lacking,” says Yahweh.
5 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦାଉଦ-ବଂଶରେ ଏକ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଶାଖା ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ କରିବା, ଏପରି ସମୟ ଆସୁଅଛି, ତହିଁରେ ସେ ରାଜା ହୋଇ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବେ ଓ ଜ୍ଞାନରେ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରିବେ, ପୁଣି ଦେଶରେ ସୁବିଚାର ଓ ନ୍ୟାୟ ପ୍ରଚଳିତ କରିବେ।
“Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “that I will raise to David a righteous Branch; and he will reign as king and deal wisely, and will execute justice and righteousness in the land.
6 ତାହାଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ ଯିହୁଦା ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପାଇବ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ନିରାପଦରେ ବାସ କରିବ; ପୁଣି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଧର୍ମ, ଏହି ନାମରେ ସେ ବିଖ୍ୟାତ ହେବେ।
In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely. This is his name by which he will be called: Yahweh our righteousness.
7 ଏଣୁକରି ‘ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ଯେ ମିସର ଦେଶରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଲେ, ସେହି ଜୀବିତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଏହି କଥା କହିବେ ନାହିଁ;’
“Therefore, behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “that they will no more say, ‘As Yahweh lives, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;’
8 ମାତ୍ର ‘ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ କୁଳଜାତ ବଂଶକୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶରୁ ଓ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ତଡ଼ି ଦେଇଥିଲୁ, ସେହି ସବୁ ଦେଶରୁ ଯେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଲେ, ସେହି ଜୀବିତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ବୋଲି କହିବେ,’ ଏପରି ସମୟ ଆସୁଅଛି; ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ଦେଶରେ ବାସ କରିବେ।”
but, ‘As Yahweh lives, who brought up and who led the offspring of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ Then they will dwell in their own land.”
9 ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ। ମୋର ଅନ୍ତରସ୍ଥ ହୃଦୟ ଭଗ୍ନ ହୋଇଅଛି, ମୋର ଅସ୍ଥିସବୁ କମ୍ପୁଅଛି; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ବାକ୍ୟ ହେତୁରୁ ମୁଁ ମତ୍ତ ଲୋକ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଓ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସରେ ପରାଜିତ ଲୋକ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଅଛି।
Concerning the prophets: My heart within me is broken. All my bones shake. I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine has overcome, because of Yahweh, and because of his holy words.
10 କାରଣ ଦେଶ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାରୀଗଣରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ଅଭିଶାପ ସକାଶୁ ଦେଶ ଶୋକ କରୁଅଛି; ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରସ୍ଥ ଚରାସ୍ଥାନସବୁ ଶୁଷ୍କ ହୋଇଅଛି ଓ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବ୍ୟବହାର ମନ୍ଦ, ଆଉ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପରାକ୍ରମ ନ୍ୟାୟସଙ୍ଗତ ନୁହେଁ।
“For the land is full of adulterers; for because of the curse the land mourns. The pastures of the wilderness have dried up. Their course is evil, and their might is not right;
11 “କାରଣ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ଓ ଯାଜକ ଉଭୟ ପାଷାଣ୍ଡ; ହଁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଗୃହ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଦୁଷ୍କ୍ରିୟା ଦେଖିଅଛୁ।
for both prophet and priest are profane. Yes, in my house I have found their wickedness,” says Yahweh.
12 ଏଣୁକରି ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପଥ ଅନ୍ଧକାରାବୃତ ଖସଡ଼ା ସ୍ଥାନ ହେବ; ସେମାନେ ତାଡ଼ିତ ହୋଇ ତହିଁରେ ପଡ଼ିବେ; କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦେବାର ବର୍ଷ ଆଣିବା।
Therefore their way will be to them as slippery places in the darkness. They will be driven on, and fall therein; for I will bring evil on them, even the year of their visitation,” says Yahweh.
13 ଆହୁରି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶମରୀୟାର ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅଜ୍ଞାନତା ଦେଖିଅଛୁ; ସେମାନେ ବାଲ୍ଦେବ ନାମରେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କରି ଆମ୍ଭର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରାଇଲେ।
“I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria. They prophesied by Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.
14 ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ହିଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ରୋମାଞ୍ଚଜନକ ବିଷୟ ଦେଖିଅଛୁ; ସେମାନେ ପରଦାର ଗମନ କରନ୍ତି, ମିଥ୍ୟାଚରଣ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମକାରୀମାନଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତ ଏପରି ସବଳ କରନ୍ତି ଯେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କର କେହି ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାରୁ ଫେରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ; ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ସଦୋମର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଓ ତହିଁର ନିବାସୀମାନେ ହମୋରାର ସମାନ ଅଟନ୍ତି।”
In the prophets of Jerusalem I have also seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery and walk in lies. They strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one returns from his wickedness. They have all become to me as Sodom, and its inhabitants as Gomorrah.”
15 ଏହେତୁ ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; “ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ତିକ୍ତ ଫଳ ଭୋଜନ କରାଇବା ଓ ବିଷବୃକ୍ଷର ରସ ପାନ କରାଇବା; କାରଣ ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଗଣଠାରୁ ଦେଶଯାକରେ ଅଧାର୍ମିକତା ବ୍ୟାପିଅଛି।”
Therefore Yahweh of Armies says concerning the prophets: “Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink poisoned water; for from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has gone out into all the land.”
16 ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, “ଯେଉଁ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଶୁଣ ନାହିଁ; ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅସାରତା ଶିଖାନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ହୃଦୟର ଦର୍ଶନ କଥା କହନ୍ତି ଓ ସେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମୁଖର କଥା କହନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
Yahweh of Armies says, “Don’t listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They teach you vanity. They speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of Yahweh.
17 ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଅବଜ୍ଞାକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁକ୍ଷଣେ କହନ୍ତି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଶାନ୍ତି ହେବ;’ ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ହୃଦୟର ଅବାଧ୍ୟତାନୁସାରେ ଆଚରଣ କରନ୍ତି, ସେହି ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନେ କହନ୍ତି, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କୌଣସି ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଘଟିବ ନାହିଁ।’”
They say continually to those who despise me, ‘Yahweh has said, “You will have peace;”’ and to everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart they say, ‘No evil will come on you.’
18 ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟକ୍ଷରେ ଶୁଣିବା ପାଇଁ କିଏ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଆଗରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇଅଛି? କିଏ ଆମ୍ଭର ବାକ୍ୟ ମନ ଦେଇ ଶୁଣିଅଛି?
For who has stood in the council of Yahweh, that he should perceive and hear his word? Who has listened to my word, and heard it?
19 ଦେଖ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ତୋଫାନ, ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡ କ୍ରୋଧ, ହଁ, ଘୂର୍ଣ୍ଣାୟମାନ ତୋଫାନ ବାହାର ହୋଇଅଛି; ତାହା ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କ ମସ୍ତକରେ ଲାଗିବ।
Behold, Yahweh’s storm, his wrath, has gone out. Yes, a whirling storm! It will burst on the head of the wicked.
20 ଯେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ମନର ଅଭିପ୍ରାୟ ସଫଳ ଓ ସିଦ୍ଧ ନ କରନ୍ତି, ସେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତାହାଙ୍କ କ୍ରୋଧ ଫେରିବ ନାହିଁ; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଶେଷ କାଳରେ ତାହା ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରୂପେ ବୁଝିବ।
Yahweh’s anger will not return until he has executed and performed the intents of his heart. In the latter days, you will understand it perfectly.
21 “ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇଲୁ ନାହିଁ, ତଥାପି ସେମାନେ ଦୌଡ଼ିଲେ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କଥା କହିଲୁ ନାହିଁ, ତଥାପି ସେମାନେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କଲେ।
I didn’t send these prophets, yet they ran. I didn’t speak to them, yet they prophesied.
22 ମାତ୍ର ଯେବେ ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ସଭାରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇଥାʼନ୍ତେ, ତେବେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭର ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣାଇଥାʼନ୍ତେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ କୁପଥରୁ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ କୁକ୍ରିୟାରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଫେରାଇଥାʼନ୍ତେ।
But if they had stood in my council, then they would have caused my people to hear my words, and would have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
23 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ କି ନିକଟରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଟୁ ଓ ଦୂରରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ନୋହୁଁ?
“Am I a God at hand,” says Yahweh, “and not a God afar off?
24 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଦେଖି ନ ପାରିବୁ, ଏପରି ଗୁପ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନରେ କି କେହି ଆପଣାକୁ ଲୁଚାଇ ପାରେ? ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ କି ସ୍ୱର୍ଗ ଓ ମର୍ତ୍ତ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟାପି ନ ଥାଉ?
Can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I can’t see him?” says Yahweh. “Don’t I fill heaven and earth?” says Yahweh.
25 ‘ଆମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ୱପ୍ନ ଦେଖିଅଛୁ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ୱପ୍ନ ଦେଖିଅଛୁ ବୋଲି କହି’ ଯେଉଁ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନାମରେ ମିଥ୍ୟା ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର କଥା ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଣିଅଛୁ।
“I have heard what the prophets have said, who prophesy lies in my name, saying, ‘I had a dream! I had a dream!’
26 ଯେଉଁ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନେ ମିଥ୍ୟା ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ନିଜ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣର କପଟତାର ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ଅଟନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣରେ ଏହା କେତେ କାଳ ଥିବ?
How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, even the prophets of the deceit of their own heart?
27 ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପିତୃପୁରୁଷମାନେ ଯେପରି ବାଲ୍ଦେବ ସକାଶେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନାମ ପାସୋରି ପକାଇଲେ, ସେପରି ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବାସୀ ନିକଟରେ ନିଜ ସ୍ୱପ୍ନ କଥା କହି ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭର ନାମ ବିସ୍ମୃତ କରାଇବାକୁ ବିଚାର କରନ୍ତି।
They intend to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they each tell his neighbor, as their fathers forgot my name because of Baal.
28 ଯେଉଁ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ସ୍ୱପ୍ନ ଦେଖିଅଛି, ସେ ସ୍ୱପ୍ନ କଥା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରୁ, ପୁଣି ଯେ ଆମ୍ଭର ବାକ୍ୟ ପାଇଅଛି, ସେ ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତ ରୂପେ ଆମ୍ଭର ବାକ୍ୟ କହୁ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଶସ୍ୟ ନିକଟରେ ପାଳ କଅଣ?
The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he who has my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the straw to the wheat?” says Yahweh.
29 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭର ବାକ୍ୟ କି ଅଗ୍ନି ସ୍ୱରୂପ ନୁହେଁ? ଓ ପାଷାଣ ଖଣ୍ଡବିଖଣ୍ଡକାରୀ ହାତୁଡ଼ି ତୁଲ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ?
“Isn’t my word like fire?” says Yahweh; “and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?
30 ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନେ, ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବାସୀଠାରୁ ଆମ୍ଭର ବାକ୍ୟ ହରଣ କରନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବିପକ୍ଷ ଅଟୁ।
“Therefore behold, I am against the prophets,” says Yahweh, “who each steal my words from his neighbor.
31 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଜିହ୍ୱା ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି, ‘ସେ କହନ୍ତି’ ବୋଲି କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବିପକ୍ଷ।
Behold, I am against the prophets,” says Yahweh, “who use their tongues, and say, ‘He says.’
32 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମିଥ୍ୟା ସ୍ୱପ୍ନର ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି ଓ ତାହା ଜଣାଇ, ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ମିଥ୍ୟା କଥା ଓ ଅସାର ଦାମ୍ଭିକତା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରାନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବିପକ୍ଷ ଅଟୁ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇ ନାହୁଁ, କିଅବା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇ ନାହୁଁ; ଅଥଚ ସେମାନେ ଏହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର କିଛିମାତ୍ର ଉପକାର କରି ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams,” says Yahweh, “who tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their vain boasting; yet I didn’t send them or command them. They don’t profit this people at all,” says Yahweh.
33 ପୁଣି, ଯେତେବେଳେ ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ, ଅବା ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା, ଅବା କୌଣସି ଯାଜକ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପଚାରିବେ, ‘ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଭାରୋକ୍ତି କଅଣ?’ ସେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବ, ‘ଭାରୋକ୍ତି କଅଣ! ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରିବା, ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଉକ୍ତି।’
“When this people, or the prophet, or a priest, asks you, saying, ‘What is the message from Yahweh?’ Then you shall tell them, ‘“What message? I will cast you off,” says Yahweh.’
34 ଆଉ, ‘ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଦେଶ,’ ଏହି କଥା ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା, ଯାଜକ ଓ ଲୋକମାନେ କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେ ଲୋକକୁ ଓ ତାହାର ବଂଶକୁ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦେବା।
As for the prophet, the priest, and the people, who say, ‘The message from Yahweh,’ I will even punish that man and his household.
35 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଲୋକ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବାସୀକୁ ଓ ଆପଣା ଭ୍ରାତାକୁ ଏହି କଥା କହିବ, ‘ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି? ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କି କଥା କହିଅଛନ୍ତି?’
You will say everyone to his neighbor, and everyone to his brother, ‘What has Yahweh answered?’ and, ‘What has Yahweh said?’
36 ପୁଣି, ‘ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଦେଶ’ ବୋଲି ଆଉ ଉଚ୍ଚାରଣ କରିବ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ନିଜ କଥା ତାହାର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଦେଶ ହେବ; ଯେହେତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜୀବିତ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର, ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟସକଳ ବିପରୀତ କରିଅଛ।
You will mention the message from Yahweh no more, for every man’s own word has become his message; for you have perverted the words of the living God, of Yahweh of Armies, our God.
37 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ ଏହି କଥା କହିବ, ‘ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି?’ ଓ ‘ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କି କଥା କହିଅଛନ୍ତି?’
You will say to the prophet, ‘What has Yahweh answered you?’ and, ‘What has Yahweh spoken?’
38 ମାତ୍ର ‘ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଭାରୋକ୍ତି,’ ଏହି କଥା ଯେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କୁହ, ତେବେ ତହିଁ ସକାଶୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି: ‘ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଲୋକ ପଠାଇ,’ ‘ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଭାରୋକ୍ତି’ ବୋଲି କହିବାକୁ ନିଷେଧ କରିଅଛୁ, ତଥାପି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ‘ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଭାରୋକ୍ତି ବୋଲି କହୁଅଛ।’
Although you say, ‘The message from Yahweh,’ therefore Yahweh says: ‘Because you say this word, “The message from Yahweh,” and I have sent to you, telling you not to say, “The message from Yahweh,”
39 ଏଣୁକରି ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିତାନ୍ତ ପାସୋରିବା, ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଯେଉଁ ନଗର ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଇଅଛୁ, ତାହାକୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ଛାମୁରୁ ଦୂର କରିବା;
therefore behold, I will utterly forget you, and I will cast you off with the city that I gave to you and to your fathers, away from my presence.
40 ଆଉ, ଯାହା ବିସ୍ମୃତ ହେବ ନାହିଁ, ଏପରି ନିତ୍ୟସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଦୁର୍ନାମ ଓ ଚିରସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଲଜ୍ଜା ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୋଗ କରାଇବା।”
I will bring an everlasting reproach on you, and a perpetual shame, which will not be forgotten.’”
