ଯିରିମୀୟ 19
1 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାଇ କୁମ୍ଭକାରର ଏକ ମୃତ୍ତିକା ପାତ୍ର କ୍ରୟ କର, ଆଉ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର କେତେକ ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କର କେତେକ ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ନେଇ,
Thus he said Yahweh go and you will buy a bottle of a potter of earthenware and some of [the] elders of the people and some of [the] elders of the priests.
2 ହାର୍ଶିତ୍ ଦ୍ୱାରର ପ୍ରବେଶ ସ୍ଥାନର ନିକଟସ୍ଥ ହିନ୍ନୋମ ପୁତ୍ରର ଉପତ୍ୟକାକୁ ବାହାରି ଯାଅ, ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯେଉଁ କଥା କହିବା, ତାହା ସେ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ପ୍ରଚାର କର;
And you will go out to [the] valley of Ben Hinnom which [is at] [the] entrance of [the] gate of (the potsherd *Q(k)*) and you will proclaim there the words which I will speak to you.
3 ଆଉ କୁହ, ‘ହେ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜାଗଣ ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ନିବାସୀମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣ; ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନ ପ୍ରତି ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଘଟାଇବା, ତାହା ଯେ ଶୁଣେ, ତାହାର କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଶିହରି ଉଠିବ।
And you will say hear [the] word of Yahweh O kings of Judah and [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to bring calamity on the place this which every [one who] hears of it they will tingle ears his.
4 କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ପରର ସ୍ଥାନ ବୋଲି ଜ୍ଞାନ କରି ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେମାନେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପିତୃପୁରୁଷମାନେ ଓ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜାମାନେ ଯେଉଁ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେବଗଣକୁ ଜାଣିଲେ ନାହିଁ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଧୂପ ଜ୍ୱଳାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷମାନଙ୍କ ରକ୍ତରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
Because - that they have forsaken me and they have treated as foreign the place this and they have made smoke in it to gods other which not they knew them they and ancestors their and [the] kings of Judah and they have filled the place this [the] blood of innocent [ones].
5 ପୁଣି, ଆପଣା ପୁତ୍ରଗଣକୁ ହୋମବଳି ରୂପେ ବାଲ୍ଦେବ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଅଗ୍ନିରେ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ବାଲ୍ଦେବର ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆଦେଶ କରି ନାହୁଁ, କି କହି ନାହୁଁ, କିଅବା ଆମ୍ଭ ମନରେ ତାହା ଉଦୟ ହୋଇ ନାହିଁ।
And they have built [the] high places of Baal to burn children their in the fire burnt offerings to Baal which not I commanded and not I spoke and not it came up on heart my.
6 ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନ ତୋଫତ୍ କିଅବା ହିନ୍ନୋମ ପୁତ୍ରର ଉପତ୍ୟକା ବୋଲି ଖ୍ୟାତ ନ ହୋଇ ହତ୍ୟା ଉପତ୍ୟକା ବୋଲି ଖ୍ୟାତ ହେବ, ଏପରି ସମୟ ଆସୁଅଛି।
Therefore here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and not it will be called to the place this again Topheth and [the] valley of Ben Hinnom that except [the] valley of slaughter.
7 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଯିହୁଦାର ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ବ୍ୟର୍ଥ କରିବା; ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଣ ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିପାତ କରିବା; ଆଉ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଖେଚର ପକ୍ଷୀଗଣକୁ ଓ ଭୂଚର ପଶୁଗଣକୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଶବ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦେବା।
And I will make void [the] plan of Judah and Jerusalem in the place this and I will make fall them by the sword before enemies their and by [the] hand of [those who] seek life their and I will give corpse[s] their to food to [the] bird[s] of the heavens and to [the] animal[s] of the earth.
8 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ନଗରକୁ ବିସ୍ମୟର ଓ ଶୀସ୍ ଶବ୍ଦର ପାତ୍ର କରିବା; ଆଉ, ତହିଁର ନିକଟ ଦେଇ ଗମନକାରୀ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଲୋକ ତହିଁ ପ୍ରତି ଘଟିତ ସକଳ ଉତ୍ପାତ ସକାଶୁ ବିସ୍ମିତ ହୋଇ ଶୀସ୍ ଶବ୍ଦ କରିବ।
And I will make the city this into a waste and into a hissing every [one who] passes by at it he will be appalled and he may hiss on all wounds its.
9 ଆଉ, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାଣନାଶର ଚେଷ୍ଟାକାରୀମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅବରୋଧ କରିବା ଓ ସଙ୍କଟରେ ପକାଇବା ସମୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପୁତ୍ରକନ୍ୟାର ମାଂସ ଭୋଜନ କରାଇବା ଓ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମିତ୍ରର ମାଂସ ଖାଇବେ।’
And I will make eat them [the] flesh of sons their and [the] flesh of daughters their and everyone [the] flesh of neighbor his they will eat in [the] siege and in [the] distress which they will press them enemies their and [those who] seek life their.
10 ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ସେହି ପାତ୍ର ଭାଙ୍ଗି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବ,
And you will break the bottle to [the] eyes of the men who go with you.
11 ‘ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଯେପରି କେହି କୁମ୍ଭକାରର ପାତ୍ର ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇଲେ ତାହା ପୁନର୍ବାର ଯୋଡ଼ାଯାଇ ନ ପାରେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେହିପରି ଏହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଏହି ନଗରକୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇବା; ତହିଁରେ କବର ସ୍ଥାନର ଅଭାବ ନ ହେବା ଯାଏ ଲୋକମାନେ ତୋଫତ୍ରେ କବର ଦେବେ।
And you will say to them thus he says - Yahweh of hosts thus I will break the people this and the city this just as someone breaks [the] vessel of the potter which not it will be able to be repaired again and in Topheth people will bury from not room to bury.
12 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନ ପ୍ରତି ଓ ତହିଁର ନିବାସୀମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବା, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ନଗରକୁ ତୋଫତ୍ ତୁଲ୍ୟ କରିବା।
Thus I will do to the place this [the] utterance of Yahweh and to inhabitants its and to make the city this like Topheth.
13 ତହିଁରେ ଅଶୁଚିକୃତ ଯିରୂଶାଲମସ୍ଥ ସକଳ ଗୃହ ଓ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜାଗଣର ଗୃହ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଯେସକଳ ଗୃହର ଛାତ ଉପରେ ସେମାନେ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳସ୍ଥ ସୈନ୍ୟଗଣର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଧୂପ ଜ୍ୱଳାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେବଗଣର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ପେୟ-ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ଢାଳିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେସକଳ ତୋଫତ୍ ସ୍ଥାନ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେବ।’”
And they will be [the] houses of Jerusalem and [the] houses of [the] kings of Judah like [the] place of Topheth the unclean [things] to all the houses which people made smoke on roofs their to all [the] host of the heavens and they poured out drink offerings to gods other.
14 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯିରିମୀୟଙ୍କୁ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯେଉଁ ତୋଫତ୍କୁ ପଠାଇଥିଲେ, ସେ ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଆସିଲେ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହର ପ୍ରାଙ୍ଗଣରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ;
And he came Jeremiah from Topheth where he had sent him Yahweh there to prophesy and he stood in [the] court of [the] house of Yahweh and he said to all the people.
15 “ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ନଗର ଓ ତହିଁର ସକଳ ଉପନଗର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳର କଥା କହିଅଛୁ, ସେସବୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଘଟାଇବା; କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ବାକ୍ୟରେ ଅବଧାନ ନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ଗ୍ରୀବା ଶକ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।”
Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel here I ([am] about to bring *Q(k)*) to the city this and on all cities its all the calamity which I have spoken on it for they have stiffened neck their to not to hear words my.
