ଯିଶାଇୟ 60
1 ଉଠ, ଦୀପ୍ତିମତୀ ହୁଅ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୀପ୍ତି ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତାପ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ଉଦିତ ହୋଇଅଛି।
[You people of] Jerusalem [PRS], stand up! Yahweh has done glorious things for you, and he has acted powerfully for you; so show others that he is very great!
2 କାରଣ, ଦେଖ, ଅନ୍ଧକାର ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ଓ ଘୋର ଅନ୍ଧକାର ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀବର୍ଗଙ୍କୁ ଆଚ୍ଛନ୍ନ କରିବ; ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଉଦିତ ହେବେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତାପ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ଦେଖାଯିବ।
[But spiritual] darkness has covered [all the other people-groups on] the earth, complete darkness, but Yahweh will show you how great he is, and other people will also see it.
3 ପୁଣି, ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶୀୟମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୀପ୍ତି ନିକଟକୁ ଓ ରାଜାଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଅରୁଣୋଦୟର ଆଲୁଅ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବେ।
By seeing what he has done for you, [people of all] people-groups will see that he is very great, and kings will come to see the wonderful things that have happened to you.
4 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅନାଇ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗ ଦେଖ, ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଏକତ୍ର ହେଉଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସୁଅଛନ୍ତି; ତୁମ୍ଭର ପୁତ୍ରଗଣ ଦୂରରୁ ଆସିବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବାହୁରେ ଅଣାଯିବେ।
[Yahweh says], “Look around and you will see the people who will be returning from (exile/countries to which they have been forced to go)! Your sons will come from distant countries; others will carry your [little] daughters home.
5 ସେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ଦେଖି ଦୀପ୍ତିମାନ ହେବ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ହୃଦୟ ଧୁକୁ ଧୁକୁ ହୋଇ ପ୍ରଫୁଲ୍ଲିତ ହେବ; କାରଣ ସମୁଦ୍ରର ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟରାଶି ତୁମ୍ଭଆଡ଼େ ଫେରାଯିବ, ଅନ୍ୟଦେଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବ।
When you look at this happening, you will be very joyful [DOU], because people will bring valuable goods to you [from all around the world]. They will bring in ships valuable things from [many] nations.
6 ଅପାର ଓଟ, ମିଦୀୟନ ଓ ଐଫାର ଦ୍ରୁତଗାମୀ-ଉଷ୍ଟ୍ର, ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆବୃତ କରିବେ; ସେହି ସବୁ ଶିବା ଦେଶରୁ ଆସିବେ; ସେମାନେ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ, କୁନ୍ଦୁରୁ ଆଣିବେ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା ପ୍ରଚାର କରିବେ।
People will [also] bring valuable goods to you on herds/caravans of camels: Camels from the Midian and Ephah [areas of northern Arabia]. And from Sheba [in southern Arabia] they will come, bringing gold and frankincense; they will all come to praise [me], Yahweh.
7 କେଦାରର ସମଗ୍ର ମେଷପଲ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ଏକତ୍ରୀକୃତ ହେବେ, ନବାୟୋତ୍ର ମେଷଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରିଚର୍ଯ୍ୟା କରିବେ; ସେମାନେ ସୁଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ ହୋଇ ଆମ୍ଭ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦିର ଉପରକୁ ଆସିବେ, ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାର ଭୂଷଣ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଗୃହକୁ ଭୂଷିତ କରିବା।
They will bring flocks [of sheep and goats] from Kedar [in northern Arabia and give them] to you. [They will bring] [PRS] rams from Nebaioth for you [to sacrifice] on my altars, and I will accept them [happily]. [At that time] I will cause my temple to be very beautifully decorated.
8 ମେଘର ନ୍ୟାୟ ଓ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଭାଡ଼ିକୁ ଉଡ଼ନ୍ତା କପୋତଗଣର ନ୍ୟାୟ ଉଡ଼ି ଆସୁଅଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ଏମାନେ, ଏମାନେ କିଏ?
And what are those things that are moving swiftly like [SIM] clouds? They resemble [SIM] doves [returning] to their nests.
9 ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ଦ୍ୱୀପସମୂହ ଆମ୍ଭର ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବେ, ପୁଣି ତର୍ଶୀଶର ଜାହାଜସକଳ ଅଗ୍ରଗାମୀ ହୋଇ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ସଙ୍ଗରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ରୌପ୍ୟ ଓ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନେଇ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ଦୂରରୁ ଆଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଧର୍ମସ୍ୱରୂପଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆସିବେ, କାରଣ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଶୋଭିତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
But they are really ships from Tarshish that are bringing your people back here. When your people come, they will bring with them [all] the valuable possessions that they have acquired, and [they will do that] to honor [me], Yahweh, your God, the Holy One of Israel, because I will have greatly honored you.
10 ପୁଣି, ବିଦେଶୀୟମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରାଚୀର ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ରାଜାଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରିଚର୍ଯ୍ୟା କରିବେ; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା କୋପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରହାର କଲୁ, ମାତ୍ର ଆପଣା ଅନୁଗ୍ରହରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି କରୁଣା କରିଅଛୁ।
Foreigners will [come and] rebuild the walls of your [cities], and their kings will serve/help you. Although I punished you because I was angry with you, these things will happen now because I will act mercifully toward you because I am kind.
11 ଅନ୍ୟଦେଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଓ ତହିଁ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ରାଜାଗଣ ବନ୍ଦୀ ହୋଇ ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଅଣାଯିବେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନଗରର ଦ୍ୱାରସକଳ ନିରନ୍ତର ମୁକ୍ତ ଥିବ, ଦିବାରାତ୍ର ସେହି ସବୁ ବନ୍ଦ ହେବ ନାହିଁ।
The gates of your [cities] will be open during the day and [also] during the night, in order that people will be able to bring into your cities valuable things from [many] countries, with their kings being led to you in the processions.
12 କାରଣ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଓ ରାଜ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସେବା ନ କରିବ, ତାହା ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହେବ, ହଁ, ସେହି ଦେଶସକଳ ନିଃଶେଷ ରୂପେ ଧ୍ୱଂସିତ ହେବ।
And the kingdoms and nations whose [people] refuse to allow you to rule them will be completely destroyed [DOU].
13 ଲିବାନୋନର ଗୌରବ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବ, ଦେବଦାରୁ, ତିଧର, ତାଶୂର ବୃକ୍ଷ ଏକତ୍ର ହୋଇ ଆମ୍ଭର ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନ ସୁଶୋଭିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆସିବେ, ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପାଦପୀଠର ସ୍ଥାନ ଗୌରବାନ୍ୱିତ କରିବା।
The glorious/beautiful things in Lebanon will be brought to you— [lumber from] cypress [trees] and fir [trees] and pine [trees]— to be used to make my temple beautiful. When that is done, my temple [MTY] will [truly] be glorious!
14 ଆଉ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କ୍ଲେଶ ଦେଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ନତ ହୋଇ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବେ ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ତୁଚ୍ଛ କଲେ, ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପଦ ତଳେ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରିବେ; ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ନଗରୀ, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଧର୍ମସ୍ୱରୂପଙ୍କର ସିୟୋନ ବୋଲି ସମ୍ବୋଧନ କରିବେ।
The descendants of those who (oppressed you/treated you cruelly) will come and bow down to you; those who despised you will prostrate themselves in front of your feet. They will say that your city on Zion Hill is the City of Yahweh, where the Holy One of Israel lives.
15 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପରିତ୍ୟକ୍ତା ଓ ଘୃଣିତା ହେବାରୁ କେହି ତୁମ୍ଭର ମଧ୍ୟଦେଇ ଯାତାୟାତ କଲା ନାହିଁ, ତହିଁର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଗୌରବ ଓ ଅନେକ ପୁରୁଷ ପରମ୍ପରାର ଆନନ୍ଦ ସ୍ୱରୂପ କରିବା।
Previously everyone hated you and ignored you, but now your [city] will be majestic/honored forever; and [I will cause you to be] joyful forever.
16 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅନ୍ୟଦେଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ଦୁଗ୍ଧ ପାନ କରିବ ଓ ରାଜାଗଣର ସ୍ତନ ଚୁଷିବ; ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ତ୍ରାଣକର୍ତ୍ତା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମୁକ୍ତିଦାତା, ଯାକୁବର ବଳଦାତା ଅଟୁ, ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣିବ।
People of all nations and their kings will gladly bring [MET] their wealth to you. And [when that happens], you will realize that I truly am Yahweh, the one who saves you and rescues you [from your enemies], and that I am the mighty one to whom you Israeli people belong.
17 ଆମ୍ଭେ ପିତ୍ତଳର ପାଲଟେ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଆଣିବା ଓ ଲୁହାର ପାଲଟେ ରୂପା, କାଷ୍ଠର ପାଲଟେ ପିତ୍ତଳ ଓ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ପାଲଟେ ଲୁହା ଆଣିବା; ଆହୁରି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ପଦରେ ଶାନ୍ତିକୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଧିକାରୀ ପଦରେ ଧାର୍ମିକତାକୁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିବା।
Instead of [metals that are not valuable, like] bronze and iron, I will bring to you silver and gold. Instead of wood and stones, I will bring you bronze and iron [for your buildings]. There will be peace in your country, and your rulers will do what is fair/just.
18 ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦେଶରେ ଦୌରାତ୍ମ୍ୟର କଥା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସୀମା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନତା ଓ ବିନାଶର କଥା ଆଉ ଶୁଣାଯିବ ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାଚୀରସମୂହର ନାମ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ଓ ଆପଣା ନଗରଦ୍ୱାରସକଳର ନାମ ପ୍ରଶଂସା ରଖିବ।
People in your country will no longer act violently, and people will no longer destroy your land and cause it to become desolate/ruined. The people in the city will be safe, and everyone there will praise me [MTY].
19 ଦିବସରେ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଜ୍ୟୋତିଃ ଆଉ ହେବ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ଆଲୁଅ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜ୍ୟୋତ୍ସ୍ନା ଦେବ ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଜ୍ୟୋତିଃ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗୌରବ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବେ।
And you will no longer need the sun and moon to give you light, because [I], Yahweh, will give you more light [than the sun and moon]; I will be a glorious light for you forever.
20 ତୁମ୍ଭର ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଆଉ ଅସ୍ତଗତ ହେବ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭର ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ଆପଣାକୁ ରହିତ କରିବ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଜ୍ୟୋତିଃ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶୋକର ଦିନ ଶେଷ ହେବ।
[It will seem as though] the sun and moon will always be shining [LIT], because [I], Yahweh, will be an everlasting light for you. You will never again be sad [because of things that happen to you].
21 ମଧ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଲୋକ ସମସ୍ତେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ହେବେ, ସେମାନେ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦେଶ ଅଧିକାର କରିବେ, ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଗୌରବାର୍ଥେ ଆମ୍ଭର ରୋପିତ ଶାଖା ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ହସ୍ତକୃତ କର୍ମ ଅଟନ୍ତି।
Your people will all be righteous, and they will occupy the land forever, because I myself have put you there [like people plant trees] [MET] in order that you will show others that I am very great.
22 କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ଜଣକ ସହସ୍ର ହେବ ଓ ସାନ ଜଣକ ବଳବାନ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ହେବ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯଥାକାଳରେ ଏହା ଶୀଘ୍ର ଘଟାଇବା।
At that time, the [groups that are] very small now will become [very large] clans, and small clans will become great nations. [All those things will happen because], I, Yahweh, will cause them to happen at the right time.”
