1 “ହେ ତୃଷିତ ଲୋକସକଳ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜଳ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସ, ପୁଣି ଯାହାର କିଛି ଅର୍ଥ ନାହିଁ, ସେ ଆସୁ; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆସ, କିଣ ଓ ଭୋଜନ କର; ହଁ, ଆସ, ଅର୍ଥ ଓ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ବିନା ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ଓ ଦୁଗ୍ଧ କିଣ।
woe! all thirsty to go: come to/for water and which nothing to/for him silver: money to go: come to buy grain and to eat and to go: come to buy grain in/on/with not silver: money and in/on/with not price wine and milk
2 ଅଖାଦ୍ୟ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ନିମନ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କାହିଁକି ରୂପା ବ୍ୟୟ କରୁଅଛ? ଓ ଯାହା ତୃପ୍ତିକର ନୁହେଁ, ତହିଁ ପାଇଁ କାହିଁକି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରୁଅଛ? ମନୋଯୋଗ କରି ଆମ୍ଭର କଥା ଶୁଣ ଓ ଉତ୍ତମ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ଭୋଜନ କର ଓ ପୁଷ୍ଟିକର ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ହେବାକୁ ଦିଅ।

3 କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଡେର ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସ; ଶୁଣ, ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାଣ ବଞ୍ଚିବ; ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଏକ ନିତ୍ୟସ୍ଥାୟୀ ନିୟମ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଦୟା ସ୍ଥିର କରିବା।

4 ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀବର୍ଗର ସାକ୍ଷୀ ରୂପେ, ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀବର୍ଗର ଅଗ୍ରଣୀ ଓ ଆଜ୍ଞାଦାତା ରୂପେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିଅଛୁ।
look! witness people to give: make him leader and to command people
5 ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣୁ ନାହଁ, ତାହାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆହ୍ୱାନ କରିବ ଓ ଯେଉଁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜାଣିଲା ନାହିଁ, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଦୌଡ଼ିବ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଧର୍ମସ୍ୱରୂପଙ୍କ ସକାଶୁ ଏହା ଘଟିବ; କାରଣ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ଗୌରବାନ୍ୱିତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।

6 ଯେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ମିଳୁଅଛି, ସେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣ କର, ଯେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସେ ନିକଟରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କର।

7 ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଆପଣାର ପଥ ଓ ଅଧାର୍ମିକ ଆପଣା ସଂକଳ୍ପ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରୁ; ପୁଣି, ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଫେରୁ, ତହିଁରେ ସେ ତାହାକୁ ଦୟା କରିବେ; ଆଉ, ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଫେରୁ, କାରଣ ସେ ବହୁଳ ରୂପରେ କ୍ଷମା କରିବେ।

8 ଯେହେତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭର ସଂକଳ୍ପସକଳ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସଂକଳ୍ପ ପରି ନୁହେଁ, କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ମାର୍ଗସକଳ ଆମ୍ଭର ମାର୍ଗ ପରି ନୁହେଁ।

9 କାରଣ ପୃଥିବୀ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳ ଯେପରି ଉଚ୍ଚ, ସେହିପରି ଆମ୍ଭର ମାର୍ଗସକଳ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ମାର୍ଗ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ସଂକଳ୍ପସକଳ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସଂକଳ୍ପ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଉଚ୍ଚତର ଅଟେ।

10 ଯେହେତୁ ଯେପରି ବୃଷ୍ଟି ଓ ହିମ ଆକାଶରୁ ତଳକୁ ଆସେ ଓ ସେଠାକୁ ଫେରିଯାଏ ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଭୂମିକୁ ସନ୍ତରା କରେ, ପୁଣି ଫଳବତୀ ଓ ତୃଣାଦି ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ କରି ବପନକାରୀକୁ ବୀଜ ଓ ଭୋଜନକାରୀକୁ ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦିଏ;

11 ଆମ୍ଭ ମୁଖରୁ ନିର୍ଗତ ବାକ୍ୟ ସେହିପରି ହେବ; ତାହା ନିଷ୍ଫଳ ହୋଇ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଫେରି ଆସିବ ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯାହା ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁ, ତାହା ସିଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ଓ ଯେଉଁ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରେରଣ କରୁ, ତହିଁରେ କୃତାର୍ଥ ହେବ।

12 ଏଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦରେ ବାହାର ହୋଇ ଶାନ୍ତିରେ ଆଗେ ଆଗେ ନିଆଯିବ; ପର୍ବତ ଓ ଉପପର୍ବତଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ୱରରେ ଗାନ କରିବେ ଓ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରସ୍ଥ ବୃକ୍ଷସକଳ କରତାଳି ଦେବେ।

13 କଣ୍ଟକ ବୃକ୍ଷ ବଦଳରେ ଦେବଦାରୁ ଓ କାନକୋଳି କଣ୍ଟା ବଦଳରେ ମେହେନ୍ଦି ବୃକ୍ଷ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହେବ; ପୁଣି, ତାହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର କୀର୍ତ୍ତି ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଓ ଅକ୍ଷୟ ନିତ୍ୟସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଚିହ୍ନସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବ।”
