ଯିଶାଇୟ 30

1 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, “ଯେଉଁ ବିଦ୍ରୋହୀ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା କରନ୍ତି, ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭ ଦ୍ୱାରା ନୁହେଁ; ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ପାପ ଉପରେ ପାପ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନରେ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରନ୍ତି, ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭ ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ନୁହେଁ, ସେମାନେ ସନ୍ତାପର ପାତ୍ର!

Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not from me; and that set themselves a ruler, but not by my spirit, in order that they may add sin to sin:

2 ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ନ ପଚାରି ଫାରୋର ବଳରେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଳିଷ୍ଠ କରିବାକୁ ଓ ମିସରର ଛାୟାରେ ଆଶ୍ରୟ ନେବାକୁ ମିସରକୁ ଯିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯାତ୍ରା କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି।

That travel to go down into Egypt, and have not asked my will; to strengthen themselves through the strength of Pharaoh, and to seek shelter in the shadow of Egypt!

3 ଏହେତୁ ଫାରୋର ବଳ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଲଜ୍ଜାଜନକ ହେବ ଓ ମିସରର ଛାୟାରେ ଆଶ୍ରୟ ନେବା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଅପମାନଜନକ ହେବ।

Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh become your shame, and the shelter in the shadow of Egypt your disgrace.

4 କାରଣ ତାହାର ଅଧିପତିମାନେ ସୋୟନରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ତାହାର ରାଜଦୂତଗଣ ହାନେଷକୁ ଆସିଅଛନ୍ତି।

For his princes were at Zo'an, and his ambassadors had reached Chanes.

5 ଯେଉଁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଉପକାର କରି ନ ପାରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ସେସମସ୍ତେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେବେ, ସେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ସାହାଯ୍ୟକାରୀ କିମ୍ବା ଉପକାରଜନକ ନୁହନ୍ତି, ମାତ୍ର ଲଜ୍ଜା ଓ ଦୁର୍ନାମ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଅଟନ୍ତି।”

They all are ashamed because of a people that cannot profit them, neither be a help nor give profit; but [bringeth] shame, and also a reproach.

6 ଦକ୍ଷିଣର ପଶୁଗଣ ବିଷୟକ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତବାଣୀ। ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଯୁବା ଓ ବୃଦ୍ଧ ସିଂହ, କାଳସର୍ପ ଓ ଉଡ୍ଡୀୟମାନ ଅଗ୍ନିମୟ ସର୍ପ ଆସନ୍ତି, ଏପରି ସଙ୍କଟ ଓ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣାମୟ ଦେଶ ଦେଇ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଉପକାର ହେବ ନାହିଁ, ଏପରି ଏକ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ନିକଟକୁ, ସେମାନେ ଯୁବା ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭଗଣର ସ୍କନ୍ଧରେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ଧନ ଓ ଉଷ୍ଟ୍ରଗଣର କୁବ୍‍ଜା ଉପରେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ବହି ନିଅନ୍ତି।

The doom of the beasts of the south: Through the land of trouble and anguish, whence come the lioness and the lion, the viper and flying dragons, they will carry upon the shoulders of young asses their riches, and upon the humps of camels their treasures, to a people that cannot profit.

7 କାରଣ ମିସର ମିଥ୍ୟା ଓ ବୃଥାରେ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରେ; ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ନିଷ୍କର୍ମରେ ଉପବିଷ୍ଟ ରାହବ ବୋଲି ନାମ ଦେଇଅଛୁ।

And the Egyptians will help in vain, and to no purpose; therefore have I called this, Boasters they are in sitting still.

8 ଏବେ ଯାଅ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ଏକ ଫଳକରେ ତାହା ଲେଖ ଓ ତାହା ଯେପରି ଆସନ୍ତା କାଳ ନିମନ୍ତେ, ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରହିବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଏକ ନଳାକାର ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ତାହା ଲିପିବଦ୍ଧ କର।

Now go, write it before them on a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the latest time to come, for ever, and to eternity:

9 କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ବିଦ୍ରୋହୀ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ, ମିଥ୍ୟାବାଦୀ ସନ୍ତାନ, ସେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ଅସମ୍ମତ ସନ୍ତାନ;

For this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord:

10 ସେମାନେ ଦର୍ଶକଗଣକୁ କହନ୍ତି, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଦର୍ଶନ କର ନାହିଁ ଓ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍‍ବକ୍ତାଗଣଙ୍କୁ କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଯଥାର୍ଥ ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କର ନାହିଁ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କୋମଳ କଥା କୁହ ଓ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତିଜନକ ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କର;

Who have said to the seers, Ye shall not see; and to the prophets, Reveal not unto us true things, speak unto us smooth things, reveal deceits;

11 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପଥରୁ ବାହାରି ଯାଅ, ବାଟ ଛାଡ଼ିଦିଅ, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଧର୍ମସ୍ୱରୂପଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରୁ ଦୂର କରାଅ।”

Depart you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, remove from before us the Holy One of Israel.

12 ଏହେତୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଧର୍ମସ୍ୱରୂପ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ତୁଚ୍ଛ କରୁଅଛ, ପୁଣି, ଉପଦ୍ରବ ଓ କୁଟିଳତାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରି ତହିଁ ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର ରଖୁଅଛ;

Therefore thus hath said the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and lean thereon for aid:

13 ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଉଚ୍ଚ ଭିତ୍ତିର ପତନଶୀଳ ଯେଉଁ ଟୋଲା ଫାଟ, ହଠାତ୍‍ ଏକାବେଳେ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପଡ଼େ, ତାହାରି ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଏହି ଅପରାଧ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ହେବ।

Therefore shall this iniquity be to you as a threatening breach, swelling out in a high-towering wall, the fall of which will come unawares, suddenly.

14 ପୁଣି, ଯେପରି କୁମ୍ଭକାରର ପାତ୍ର ଭଙ୍ଗାଯାଏ, ସେହିପରି ସେ କିଛି ଦୟା ନ କରି ତାହା ଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରି ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇବେ; ତହିଁରେ ଚୁଲ୍ଲୀରୁ ଅଗ୍ନି କିଅବା କୁଣ୍ଡରୁ ଜଳ ନେବା ଭଳି ଖଣ୍ଡେ ଖପରା ହିଁ ତହିଁରୁ ମିଳିବ ନାହିଁ।”

And he will break it, as one breaketh a potter's vessel, dashing it in pieces without sparing it; so that there cannot be found among its fragments a sherd to rake fire from a hearth and to draw water from a pit.

15 କାରଣ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଧର୍ମସ୍ୱରୂପ କହିଲେ, “ଫେରିଲେ ଓ ଶାନ୍ତ ହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପାଇବ; ସୁସ୍ଥିରତା ଓ ବିଶ୍ୱାସରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବଳ ହେବ, ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅସମ୍ମତ ହେଲ।”

For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, the Holy One of Israel, In repose and rest shall ye be helped; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength; and ye would not.

16 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କହିଲ, “ନା, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅଶ୍ୱରେ ପଳାଇବୁ;” ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପଳାତକ ହେବ; ଆଉ କହିଲ, “ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଦ୍ରୁତଗାମୀ ବାହନରେ ଚଢ଼ିବା;” ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍‍ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇବା ଲୋକମାନେ ଦ୍ରୁତଗାମୀ ହେବେ।

And ye said, “No; for upon horses will we flee;” therefore shall ye flee: and, “Upon swift beasts will we ride;” therefore shall your pursuers be swift.

17 ଏକ ଜଣର ଧମକରେ ସହସ୍ର ଲୋକ ପଳାୟନ କରିବେ; ପାଞ୍ଚ ଜଣର ଧମକରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପଳାୟନ କରିବ; ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପର୍ବତର ଶୃଙ୍ଗରେ ଏକ ଚିହ୍ନସ୍ୱରୂପ ଓ ଉପପର୍ବତରେ ପତାକାର ଦଣ୍ଡ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହୋଇ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ରହିବ।

One thousand [shall flee] at the threatening of one; at the threatening of five shall ye [all] flee: till ye be left as a pole upon a mountain-top, and as an ensign on a hill.

18 ପୁଣି, ତହିଁ ସକାଶୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବେ, ଆଉ ତହିଁ ସକାଶୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଦୟା କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେ ଉନ୍ନତ ହେବେ; କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ନ୍ୟାୟ ବିଚାରକାରୀ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଟନ୍ତି; ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି, ସେସମସ୍ତେ ଧନ୍ୟ।

And therefore will the Lord wait, to be gracious unto you, and therefore will he exalt himself, to have mercy upon you; for a God of justice is the Lord: happy are all those that wait for him.

19 ଲୋକମାନେ ସିୟୋନରେ, ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ବାସ କରିବେ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆଉ ରୋଦନ କରିବ ନାହିଁ; ତୁମ୍ଭର କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ ରବରେ ସେ ଅବଶ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ କରିବେ; ସେ ଶୁଣିବାମାତ୍ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବେ।

For O people of Zion that shall dwell at Jerusalem! thou shalt indeed not weep: he will be surely gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; so soon as he heareth it, he answereth thee.

20 ପୁଣି, ଯଦ୍ୟପି ପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୁଃଖରୂପ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଓ କ୍ଲେଶରୂପ ଜଳ ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ତଥାପି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଶିକ୍ଷକଗଣ ଆଉ ଗୁପ୍ତ ରହିବେ ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଶିକ୍ଷକଗଣକୁ ଦେଖିବ।

And the Lord will give you bread [in] adversity, and water [in] oppression; and thy teachers shall not have to hide themselves in a corner any more, but thy eyes shall see thy teachers:

21 ପୁଣି, ଦକ୍ଷିଣରେ କିମ୍ବା ବାମରେ ଫେରିବା ବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭର କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପଛଆଡ଼ୁ ଏହି କଥା ଶୁଣିବ, “ପଥ ଏହି, ଏଥିରେ ହିଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଗମନ କର।”

And thy ears shall hear the word behind thee, saying, “This is the way, walk ye in it,” when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

22 ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣାର ରୌପ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣର ମଣ୍ଡନ ଓ ଛାଞ୍ଚରେ ଢଳା ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣର ଆଭରଣ ଅଶୁଚି କରିବ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେହି ସବୁକୁ ଅଶୁଚି ବସ୍ତୁ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ପକାଇ ଦେବ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହିବ, ଏଠାରୁ ବାହାରି ଯାଅ।

And ye will regard as unclean the covering of thy graven idols of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou wilt cast them away as a filthy thing; “Get thee hence,” wilt thou say unto them.

23 ପୁଣି, ଭୂମିରେ ବୁଣିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବୀଜ ପାଇଁ ବୃଷ୍ଟି ଦେବେ; ଭୂମ୍ୟୁତ୍ପନ୍ନ ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେବେ ଓ ତାହା ଉତ୍ତମ ଓ ପ୍ରଚୁର ହେବ; ସେହି ଦିନରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପଶୁପଲ ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ ଚରାସ୍ଥାନରେ ଚରିବେ।

Then will he give the rain for thy seed, that thou mayest sow in the ground; and bread—the produce of the ground—this shall be fat and nutritious: thy cattle shall feed on that day in extensive pastures.

24 ମଧ୍ୟ ଭୂମି ଚାଷକାରୀ ବଳଦ, ଯୁବା ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭମାନେ ଚାଲୁଣୀ ଓ କୁଲାରେ ଝଡ଼ା ସୁମିଶ୍ରିତ ଶସ୍ୟାଦି ଖାଇବେ।

The oxen likewise and the young asses that till the ground shall eat salted provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.

25 ଆଉ, ଯେଉଁ ମହାହତ୍ୟା ଦିନରେ ଦୁର୍ଗସବୁ ପତିତ ହେବ, ସେହି ଦିନରେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଉଚ୍ଚ ପର୍ବତରେ, ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଉଚ୍ଚ ଗିରିରେ ନଦୀ ଓ ଜଳସ୍ରୋତ ହେବ।

And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every prominent hill, rivulets, streams of waters on the day of the great slaughter, when towers fall.

26 ଆହୁରି, ଯେଉଁ ଦିନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଆଘାତ ସ୍ଥାନ ବାନ୍ଧିବେ ଓ ପ୍ରହାରଜାତ ସେମାନଙ୍କ କ୍ଷତ ସୁସ୍ଥ କରିବେ, ସେହି ଦିନରେ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ରମାର ଦୀପ୍ତି ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟର ଦୀପ୍ତି ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେବ, ଆଉ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟର ଦୀପ୍ତି ସାତ ଦିନର ଦୀପ୍ତି ତୁଲ୍ୟ ସପ୍ତଗୁଣ ହେବ।

And the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of the seven days, on the day that the Lord bindeth up the broken [limbs] of his people, and healeth the bruise of their wound.

27 ଦେଖ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ନାମ ତାହାଙ୍କ କ୍ରୋଧରେ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ଓ ନିବିଡ଼ ଧୂମରାଶି ହୋଇ ଦୂରରୁ ଆସୁଅଛି; ତାହାଙ୍କର ଓଷ୍ଠାଧର କ୍ରୋଧରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଜିହ୍ୱା ସର୍ବଗ୍ରାସକ ଅଗ୍ନି ତୁଲ୍ୟ;

Behold, the name of the Lord cometh from afar, burning is his anger, and heavy the smoke; his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue is like a devouring fire;

28 ପୁଣି, ତାହାଙ୍କର ଶ୍ୱାସବାୟୁ ପ୍ଲାବିତ ସ୍ରୋତ ତୁଲ୍ୟ, ସର୍ବଦେଶୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅସାରତାରୂପ ଚାଲୁଣୀରେ ଚଲାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହା କଣ୍ଠ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଉଠୁଅଛି; ଆଉ, ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀସମୂହର ମୁଖରେ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତିଜନକ ଲଗାମ ଦିଆଯିବ।

And his breath, like an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to toss the nations with the van of falsehood: and [to place] a deceiving bridle on the jaws of the people.

29 ପବିତ୍ର ଉତ୍ସବ ପାଳନର ରାତ୍ରିରେ ଯେପରି, ସେହିପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଗାନ କରିବ; ପୁଣି, ଲୋକେ ଯେପରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପର୍ବତକୁ, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଶୈଳ ନିକଟକୁ ଯିବା ପାଇଁ ବଂଶୀ ବଜାଇ ଗମନ କରନ୍ତି, ସେହିପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଚିତ୍ତ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହେବ।

[Then] shall ye have a song, as in the night when a festival is ushered in, and joy of heart, as when one goeth with the flute to come unto the mountain of the Lord, to the Rock of Israel.

30 ପୁଣି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା କ୍ରୋଧର ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡତା ଓ ସର୍ବଗ୍ରାସକ ଅଗ୍ନିଶିଖା, ତୋଫାନ, ଝଡ଼ ଓ ଶିଳାବୃଷ୍ଟି ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆପଣାର ପ୍ରତାପାନ୍ୱିତ ରବ ଶୁଣାଇବେ ଓ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତର ଅବରୋହଣ ଦେଖାଇବେ।

And the Lord will cause his majestic voice to be heard, and will show the stretching down of his arm, in the indignation of [his] anger, and in the flame of a devouring fire, in flood, and tempest, and stones of hail.

31 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ରବରେ ଅଶୂର ଖଣ୍ଡ ଖଣ୍ଡ ହୋଇ ଭଗ୍ନ ହେବ, ସେ ତାହାକୁ ଦଣ୍ଡାଘାତ କରିବେ।

For because of the voice of the Lord shall be terrified Asshur, that smote [you] with the rod.

32 ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁ ନିରୂପିତ ଯଷ୍ଟି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହା ଉପରେ ଥୋଇବେ, ତହିଁର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଆଘାତ ସମୟରେ ତବଲା ଓ ବୀଣା ବାଜିବ ଓ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ମହାଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବେ।

And at every passage of the appointed staff which the Lord will let fall on him, there shall be [music] on tambourine and harp; and in the tumult of battles will he fight with them.

33 କାରଣ ତୋଫତ୍‍ (ଅଗ୍ନିକୁଣ୍ଡ) ପୂର୍ବକାଳରୁ ନିର୍ମିତ ହୋଇଅଛି ଓ ତାହା ରାଜାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହୋଇଅଛି; ସେ ତାହାକୁ ଗଭୀର ଓ ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତହିଁର ସ୍ତୂପ ଅଗ୍ନି ଓ ପ୍ରଚୁର କାଷ୍ଠମୟ; ପୁଣି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଫୁତ୍କାର ଗନ୍ଧକ ସ୍ରୋତନ୍ୟାୟ ତାହା ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ କରେ।

For already of old is Topheth made ready; also this is prepared for the king—deep and wide; its pile hath fire and wood in plenty, the breath of the Lord, like a stream of sulfur, will kindle it into a flame.
