ଯିଶାଇୟ 26
1 ସେହି ଦିନ ଯିହୁଦା ଦେଶରେ ଏହି ଗୀତ ଗାନ କରାଯିବ; “ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଗୋଟିଏ ଦୃଢ଼ ନଗର ଅଛି; ସେ ପରିତ୍ରାଣକୁ ତହିଁର ପ୍ରାଚୀର ଓ ପରିଖା ସ୍ୱରୂପ କରିବେ।
In that day shall this canticle be sung the land of Juda. Sion the city of our strength a saviour, a wall and a bulwark shall be set therein.
2 ସତ୍ୟପାଳନକାରୀ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ଯେପରି ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ପାରିବେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନଗରର ଦ୍ୱାରସବୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କର।
Open ye the gates, and let the just nation, that keepeth the truth, enter in.
3 ଯାହାର ମନ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ ସ୍ଥିର ଥାଏ, ତାହାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଶାନ୍ତିରେ ରଖିବ; କାରଣ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ ନିର୍ଭର ରଖେ।
The old error is passed away: thou wilt keep peace: peace, because we have hoped in thee.
4 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାକାଳ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ନିର୍ଭର ରଖ; କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯିହୋବାଃଙ୍କଠାରେ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଶୈଳ ଅଛି।
You have hoped in the Lord for evermore, in the Lord God mighty for ever.
5 ପୁଣି, ସେ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱସ୍ଥାନ ନିବାସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ, ଉନ୍ନତ ନଗରକୁ ଅବନତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେ ତାହା ଅବନତ କରି ଭୂମିସାତ୍ କରନ୍ତି; ସେ ତାହାକୁ ଧୂଳିରେ ମିଶାଇ ଦିଅନ୍ତି।
For he shall bring down them that dwell on high, the high city he shall lay low. He shall bring it down even to the ground, he shall pull it down even to the dust.
6 ପାଦ, ଦରିଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କର ପାଦ ଓ ଦୀନହୀନମାନଙ୍କ ପାଦବିକ୍ଷେପ ତାହା ଦଳିତ କରିବ।”
The foot shall tread it down, the feet of the poor, the steps of the needy.
7 ଧାର୍ମିକର ମାର୍ଗ ସରଳ; ଯଥାର୍ଥିକ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଧାର୍ମିକର ପଥ ଦେଖାଉଅଛ।
The way of the just is right, the path of the just is right to walk in.
8 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଶାସନ ମାର୍ଗରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଅପେକ୍ଷାରେ ରହିଅଛୁ; ତୁମ୍ଭର ନାମ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସ୍ମରଣ ଚିହ୍ନ ପ୍ରତି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାଣର ଆକାଂକ୍ଷା ଅଛି।
And in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, we have patiently waited for thee: thy name, and thy remembrance are the desire of the soul.
9 ରାତ୍ରିକାଳରେ ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାଣ ସହିତ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆକାଂକ୍ଷା କରିଅଛି; ହଁ, ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଅନ୍ତରସ୍ଥ ଆତ୍ମା ସହିତ ଶୀଘ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣ କରିବି; କାରଣ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶାସନସକଳ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେଲେ ଜଗନ୍ନିବାସୀମାନେ ଧର୍ମ ଶିକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି।
My soul hath desired thee in the night: yea, and with my spirit within me in the morning early I will watch to thee. When thou shalt do thy judgments on the earth, the inhabitants of the world shall learn justice.
10 ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରତି ଦୟା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରାଗଲେ ହେଁ ସେ ଧର୍ମ ଶିଖିବ ନାହିଁ; ସରଳତାର ଦେଶରେ ସେ ଅନ୍ୟାୟ କରିବ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ମହିମାକୁ ଅନାଇବ ନାହିଁ।
Let us have pity on the wicked, but he will not learn justice: in the land of the saints he hath done wicked things, and he shall not see the glory of the Lord.
11 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ହସ୍ତ ଉତ୍ଥିତ ହୋଇଅଛି, ତଥାପି ସେମାନେ ଦେଖନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଉଦ୍ଯୋଗ ଦେଖି ସେମାନେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେବେ; ହଁ, ଅଗ୍ନି ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିପକ୍ଷଗଣକୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିବ।
Lord, let thy hand be exalted, and let them not see: let the envious people see, and be confounded: and let fire devour thy enemies.
12 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଶାନ୍ତି ନିରୂପଣ କରିବ; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସକଳ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସାଧନ କରିଅଛ।
Lord, thou wilt give us peace: for thou hast wrought all our works for us.
13 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଛଡ଼ା ଅନ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଭୁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିଥିଲେ, ମାତ୍ର କେବଳ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମର କୀର୍ତ୍ତନ କରିବା।
O Lord our God, other lords besides thee have had dominion over us, only in thee let us remember thy name.
14 ସେମାନେ ମରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଆଉ ଜୀବିତ ହେବେ ନାହିଁ; ସେମାନେ ମୃତ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଉଠିବେ ନାହିଁ; ଏହେତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦେଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଂହାର କରିଅଛ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ମରଣ ଲୁପ୍ତ କରିଅଛ।
Let not the dead live, let not the giants rise again: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and best destroyed all their memory.
15 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏ ଦେଶୀୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରିଅଛ, ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ଦେଶୀୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଗୌରବାନ୍ୱିତ ହୋଇଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦେଶର ସୀମାସକଳ ବିସ୍ତାର କରିଅଛ।
Thou hast been favourable to the nation, O Lord, thou hast been favourable to the nation: art thou glorified? thou hast removed all the ends of the earth far off.
16 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ସଙ୍କଟ ସମୟରେ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶାସ୍ତି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଥିବା ବେଳେ ସେମାନେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଢାଳି ପକାଇଲେ।
Lord, they have sought after thee in distress, in the tribulation of murmuring thy instruction was with them.
17 ଗର୍ଭିଣୀ ପ୍ରସବକାଳର ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହେବା ବେଳେ ଯେପରି ବ୍ୟଥିତା ହୁଏ ଓ ବେଦନାରେ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କରେ, ସେହିପରି ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ହୋଇଅଛୁ।
As a woman with child, when she draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs: so are we become in thy presence, O Lord.
18 ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଗର୍ଭିଣୀ ହୋଇଅଛୁ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବ୍ୟଥିତା ହୋଇ ବାୟୁ ପ୍ରସବ କରିଅଛୁ; ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଦେଶର ଉଦ୍ଧାର ସାଧନ କରି ନାହୁଁ; କିଅବା ଜଗନ୍ନିବାସୀମାନେ ଭୂମିଷ୍ଠ ହୋଇ ନାହାନ୍ତି।
We have conceived, and been as it were in labour, and have brought forth wind: we have not wrought salvation on the earth, therefore the inhabitants of the earth have not fallen.
19 ତୁମ୍ଭର ମୃତମାନେ ଜୀବିତ ହେବେ; ମୋହର ଶବସବୁ ଉଠିବେ। ହେ ଧୂଳିନିବାସୀମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଉଠି ଗାନ କର; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶିଶିର ତୃଣର ଶିଶିର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଓ ଭୂମି ମୃତମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାହାର କରିଦେବ।
Thy dead men shall live, my slain shall rise again: awake, and give praise, ye that dwell in the dust: for thy dew is the dew of the light: and the land of the giants thou shalt pull down into ruin.
20 ହେ ମୋହର ଲୋକେ, ଆସ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅନ୍ତରାଳୟରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ଦ୍ୱାର ରୁଦ୍ଧ କର; କ୍ରୋଧ ବହି ଯିବାଯାଏ ଅଳ୍ପକ୍ଷଣ ଆପଣାକୁ ଲୁଚାଅ।
Go, my people, enter into thy chambers, shut thy doors upon thee, hide thyself a little for a moment, until the indignation pass away.
21 କାରଣ ଦେଖ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପୃଥିବୀ ନିବାସୀମାନଙ୍କର ଅପରାଧ ସକାଶେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ଆପଣା ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ବାହାର ହୋଇ ଆସୁଅଛନ୍ତି; ପୃଥିବୀ ହିଁ ଆପଣା ମଧ୍ୟସ୍ଥ ରକ୍ତ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବ ଓ ଆପଣା ହତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଉ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।
For behold the Lord will come out of his place, to visit the iniquity of the inhabitant of the earth against him: and the earth shall disclose her blood, and shall cover her slain no more.
