ଯିଶାଇୟ 23
1 ସୋର ବିଷୟକ ଭାବବାଣୀ। ହେ ତର୍ଶୀଶର ଜାହାଜସକଳ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ହାହାକାର କର; କାରଣ ତାହା ଏପରି ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ହେଲା ଯେ, ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କୌଣସି ଗୃହ ନାହିଁ, କିମ୍ବା ପ୍ରବେଶିବାର ପଥ ନାହିଁ; କିତ୍ତୀମ ଦେଶରୁ ଏହା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେଲା।
The burden of Tyre. Howl, ye ships of Tarshish; for it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in: from the land of Kittim it is revealed to them.
2 ହେ ଦ୍ୱୀପନିବାସୀମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନୀରବ ହୁଅ; ସମୁଦ୍ର ପାରଗାମୀ ସୀଦୋନୀୟ ବଣିକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ (ଦେଶ)କୁ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲେ।
Be still, ye inhabitants of the isle; thou whom the merchants of Zidon, that pass over the sea, have replenished.
3 ପୁଣି, ମହାଜଳରାଶିରେ ଷୀୟୋରର ବୀଜ ଓ ନୀଳ ନଦୀର ଶସ୍ୟ ତାହାର ଆୟ ଥିଲା; ପୁଣି, ତାହା ନାନା ଦେଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ଗଞ୍ଜ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଥିଲା।
And on great waters the seed of Shihor, the harvest of the Nile, was her revenue; and she was the mart of nations.
4 ହେ ସୀଦୋନ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହୁଅ, କାରଣ ସାଗର, ସାଗରର ଦୃଢ଼ ଦୁର୍ଗ ଏହି କଥା କହିଅଛି, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରସବବେଦନା ଭୋଗି ନାହୁଁ, ପ୍ରସବ କରି ନାହୁଁ କିଅବା ଯୁବକଗଣର ପ୍ରତିପାଳନ କରି ନାହୁଁ, କିମ୍ବା ଯୁବତୀଗଣର ଭରଣପୋଷଣ କରି ନାହୁଁ।”
Be thou ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea hath spoken, the strong hold of the sea; saying, I have not travailed, nor brought forth, neither have I nourished young men, nor brought up virgins.
5 ଏହି ସମ୍ବାଦ ମିସରରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ, ଲୋକମାନେ ସୋର ବିଷୟକ ସମ୍ବାଦରେ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବ୍ୟଥିତ ହେବେ।
When the report cometh to Egypt, they shall be sorely pained at the report of Tyre.
6 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପାର ହୋଇ ତର୍ଶୀଶକୁ ଯାଅ; ହେ ଦ୍ୱୀପନିବାସୀମାନେ, ହାହାକାର କର।
Pass ye over to Tarshish; howl, ye inhabitants of the isle.
7 ଏହି କି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଉଲ୍ଲାସକାରିଣୀ ନଗରୀ? ଏହା ପ୍ରାଚୀନ କାଳରେ ହେଁ ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ଥିଲା; ଏହାର ଚରଣ ଦୂର ଦେଶରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏହାକୁ ନେଇଗଲା।
Is this your joyous [city], whose antiquity is of ancient days, whose feet carried her afar off to sojourn?
8 ମୁକୁଟ ବିତରଣକାରିଣୀ ସୋରର ବଣିକମାନେ ରାଜ ତୁଲ୍ୟ, ତାହାର ମହାଜନମାନେ ପୃଥିବୀର ସମ୍ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଲୋକ; ତାହାର ବିପରୀତରେ ଏହି ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା କିଏ କରିଅଛି?
Who hath purposed this against Tyre, the crowning [city], whose merchants are princes, whose traffickers are the honourable of the earth?
9 ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାର ଭୂଷଣର ଅହଙ୍କାର ଅଶୁଚି କରିବା ଓ ପୃଥିବୀର ସମ୍ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଲୋକ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ତୁଚ୍ଛନୀୟ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହି ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
The LORD of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth.
10 ଆଗୋ ତର୍ଶୀଶର କନ୍ୟେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନୀଳ ନଦୀ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଆପଣା ଦେଶ ମଧ୍ୟଦେଇ ଯାଅ, ତୁମ୍ଭର କଟିବନ୍ଧନ ଆଉ ନାହିଁ।
Pass through thy land as the Nile, O daughter of Tarshish; there is no girdle [about thee] any more.
11 ସେ ସମୁଦ୍ର ଉପରେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ରାଜ୍ୟସକଳକୁ ହଲାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କିଣାନର ଦୃଢ଼ ଦୁର୍ଗସବୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହାର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଆଜ୍ଞା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
He hath stretched out his hand over the sea, he hath shaken the kingdoms: the LORD hath given commandment concerning Canaan, to destroy the strong holds thereof.
12 ପୁଣି, ସେ କହିଲେ, “ଆଗୋ ସୀଦୋନର ଉପଦ୍ରୁତେ, ଅନୂଢ଼େ କନ୍ୟେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆଉ ଉଲ୍ଲାସ କରିବ ନାହିଁ, ଉଠ, ପାର ହୋଇ କିତ୍ତୀମକୁ ଯାଅ; ସେଠାରେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ତୁମ୍ଭେ କିଛି ବିଶ୍ରାମ ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ।”
And he said, Thou shalt no more rejoice, O thou oppressed virgin daughter of Zidon: arise, pass over to Kittim; even there shalt thou have no rest.
13 କଲ୍ଦୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ଦେଶକୁ ଦେଖ; ଏହି ଲୋକେ ଆଉ ନାହାନ୍ତି; ବନ୍ୟ ଜନ୍ତୁଗଣ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅଶୂରୀୟ ତାହା ନିରୂପଣ କରିଅଛି; ସେମାନେ ଦୁର୍ଗ କରି ତାହାର ଅଟ୍ଟାଳିକାସକଳ ଉତ୍ପାଟନ କଲେ; ସେ ତାହା କାନ୍ଥଡ଼ାର ଢ଼ିପି କଲା।
Behold, the land of the Chaldeans; this people is no more; the Assyrian hath appointed it for the beasts of the wilderness: they set up their towers, they overthrew the palaces thereof; he made it a ruin.
14 ହେ ତର୍ଶୀଶର ଜାହାଜସମୂହ, ହାହାକାର କର, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଦୃଢ଼ ଦୁର୍ଗ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ହେଲା।
Howl, ye ships of Tarshish: for your strong hold is laid waste.
15 ସେହି ଦିନ ଏପରି ଘଟିବ ଯେ, ଏକ ରାଜାର ଅଧିକାରର ସମୟ ପ୍ରମାଣେ ସୋର ସତୁରି ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବିସ୍ମୃତ ହେବ; ସତୁରି ବର୍ଷ ଶେଷ ହେଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ବେଶ୍ୟାର ଗୀତ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ସୋର ପ୍ରତି ଘଟିବ।
And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years it shall be unto Tyre as in the song of the harlot.
16 ହେ ବିସ୍ମୃତ ବେଶ୍ୟେ, ବୀଣା ନେଇ ନଗର ଭ୍ରମଣ କର; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେପରି ସ୍ମୃତିପଥରେ ଆସିବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ମଧୁର ତାଳରେ ବଜାଅ, ଅନେକ ଗୀତ ଗାଅ।
Take an harp, go about the city, thou harlot that hast been forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that thou mayest be remembered.
17 ଆହୁରି, ସତୁରି ବର୍ଷ ସମାପ୍ତ ହେଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସୋରର ତତ୍ତ୍ୱ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରିବେ, ତହୁଁ ସେ ଆପଣା ଭଡ଼ାଟୀୟା ବୃତ୍ତିକୁ ଫେରିବ, ପୁଣି, ଭୂମଣ୍ଡଳରେ ସର୍ବତ୍ର ପୃଥିବୀସ୍ଥ ସକଳ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବେଶ୍ୟାବୃତ୍ତି କରିବ।
And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall return to her hire, and shall play the harlot with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.
18 ଆଉ, ତାହାର ବାଣିଜ୍ୟ ଓ ଭଡ଼ା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ପବିତ୍ର ହେବ; ତାହା ଭଣ୍ଡାରରେ ରଖାଯିବ ନାହିଁ କି ସଞ୍ଚୟ କରାଯିବ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ବାସ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଯଥେଷ୍ଟ ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଓ ଚିରସ୍ଥାୟୀ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହାର ବାଣିଜ୍ୟ ହେବ।
And her merchandise and her hire shall be holiness to the LORD: it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise shall be for them that dwell before the LORD, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing.
