ଯିଶାଇୟ 14
1 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯାକୁବ ପ୍ରତି ଦୟା କରିବେ, ପୁଣି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ପୁନର୍ବାର ମନୋନୀତ କରିବେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦେଶରେ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବେ, ତହିଁରେ ବିଦେଶୀ ଲୋକ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସଂଯୁକ୍ତ ହେବ, ସେମାନେ ଯାକୁବ ବଂଶ ପ୍ରତି ଆସକ୍ତ ହେବେ।
Her time is drawing near, and her days will not be prolonged. For the Lord will take pity on Jacob, and he will still choose from Israel, and he will cause them to rest upon their own soil. And the new arrival will be joined to them, and he will adhere to the house of Jacob.
2 ପୁଣି, ନାନା ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ନେଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିଜ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ପହଞ୍ଚାଇ ଦେବେ; ଆଉ, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦେଶରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦାସଦାସୀ ରୂପେ ଅଧିକାର କରିବେ; ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କର ବନ୍ଦୀ ହୋଇଥିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ନେବେ ଓ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଉପଦ୍ରବକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ କର୍ତ୍ତୃତ୍ୱ କରିବେ।
And the people will take them, and lead them to their place. And the house of Israel will possess them, in the land of the Lord, as men and women servants. And they will take captive those who had taken them captive. And they will subjugate their oppressors.
3 ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁ ଦିନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୁଃଖ ଓ କ୍ଲେଶରୁ ଓ ଯେଉଁ କଠୋର ଦାସତ୍ୱରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦାସ୍ୟକର୍ମ କରିବାକୁ ହେଲା, ତହିଁରୁ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ଦେବେ,
And this shall be in that day: when God will have given you rest from your labor, and from your oppression, and from the difficult servitude under which you served before,
4 ସେହି ଦିନ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବାବିଲ ରାଜା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଏହି ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତ କଥା ନେଇ କହିବ, ଯଥା, “ଉପଦ୍ରବକାରୀ କିପରି ଶେଷ ହୋଇଅଛି! ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନଗରୀ କିପରି ଶେଷ ହୋଇଅଛି!
you will accept this parable against the king of Babylon, and you will say: “How is it that the oppressor has ceased, along with his tribute?
5 ଯେଉଁମାନେ କୋପରେ ନାନା ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀକୁ ଅନବରତ ଆଘାତ କଲେ ଓ ନାନା ଦେଶୀୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ କ୍ରୋଧରେ ଶାସନ କରି ଅନିବାରିତ ରୂପେ ତାଡ଼ନା କଲେ,
The Lord has crushed the staff of the impious, the scepter of despots,
6 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେହି ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କର ଯଷ୍ଟି ଓ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତାମାନଙ୍କ ରାଜଦଣ୍ଡ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
which struck the people in wrath with an incurable wound, which subjugated the nations in fury, which persecuted with cruelty.
7 ସମୁଦାୟ ପୃଥିବୀ ଶାନ୍ତ ଓ ସୁସ୍ଥିର ହୋଇଅଛି; ସେମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦରେ ଗାନ କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି।
All the earth has become quiet and still; it has been gladdened and has rejoiced.
8 ହଁ, ଦେବଦାରୁ ଓ ଲିବାନୋନର ଏରସ ବୃକ୍ଷସକଳ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିଷୟରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରି କହନ୍ତି, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭୂମିସାତ୍ ହେବାଠାରୁ କୌଣସି ଛେଦନକର୍ତ୍ତା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଆସି ନାହିଁ।’
The evergreens, too, have rejoiced over you, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying: ‘Since you have slept, no one has ascended who would cut us down.’
9 ତୁମ୍ଭ ଆଗମନ ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଅଧଃସ୍ଥ ପାତାଳ ଚାଳିତ ହୁଏ; ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୃତମାନଙ୍କୁ, ପୃଥିବୀର ପ୍ରଧାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ହିଁ ଜଗାଏ; ତାହା ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀବର୍ଗର ରାଜାସକଳକୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସିଂହାସନରୁ ଉଠାଇଅଛି। (Sheol h7585)
Hell below was stirred up to meet you at your advent; it has awakened the giants for you. All the leaders of the earth have risen from their thrones, all the leaders among the nations.” (Sheol h7585)
10 ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହିବେ, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ୟ କʼଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରି କ୍ଷୀଣବଳ ହେଲ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ କʼଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସମାନ ହେଲ?’
Everyone will respond and will say to you: “Now you are wounded, just as we were; you have become like us.
11 ତୁମ୍ଭର ଐଶ୍ୱର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନେବଲ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରର ସ୍ୱର ପାତାଳ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଅବରୋହିତ ହୋଇଅଛି; କୀଟ ତୁମ୍ଭ ତଳେ ପ୍ରସାରିତ (ବିଛଣା) ଓ କୃମି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ ହୋଇଅଛି। (Sheol h7585)
Your arrogance has been dragged down to Hell. Your body has fallen dead. The moths will be strewn beneath you, and the worms will be your covering. (Sheol h7585)
12 ହେ ପ୍ରଭାତୀତାରା, ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୁଷର ପୁତ୍ର! ତୁମ୍ଭେ କିପରି ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରୁ ପତିତ ହେଲ! ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀଗଣକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ନତ କରିଥିଲ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କିପରି ଭୂମିରେ ନିକ୍ଷିପ୍ତ ହେଲ!
How is it that you have fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, who used to rise like the sun? How is it that you have fallen to the earth, you who wounded the peoples?
13 ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମନେ ମନେ କହିଥିଲ, ‘ଆମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗାରୋହଣ କରିବା, ଆମ୍ଭେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନକ୍ଷତ୍ରଗଣର ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱରେ ଆପଣା ସିଂହାସନ ଉଚ୍ଚୀକୃତ କରିବା; ଆମ୍ଭେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଗର ପ୍ରାନ୍ତସ୍ଥିତ ସମାଗମ ପର୍ବତରେ ଉପବିଷ୍ଟ ହେବା;
And you said in your heart: ‘I will climb up to heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will be enthroned upon the mountain of the covenant, on the northern parts.
14 ଆମ୍ଭେ ମେଘମାଳର ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀର ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱକୁ ଆରୋହଣ କରିବା; ଆମ୍ଭେ ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥଙ୍କର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେବା।’
I will ascend above the tops of the clouds. I will be like the Most High.’
Yet truly, you shall be dragged down to Hell, into the depths of the pit. (Sheol h7585)
16 ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦେଖନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମ ରୂପେ ନିରୀକ୍ଷଣ କରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିଷୟ ବିବେଚନା କରି କହିବେ, ‘ଯେ ପୃଥିବୀକୁ କମ୍ପାନ୍ୱିତ କଲା, ଯେ ରାଜ୍ୟସମୂହକୁ ଥରହର କରାଇଲା;
Those who see you, will lean toward you, and will gaze upon you, saying: ‘Could this be the man who disturbed the earth, who shook kingdoms,
17 ଯେ ଜଗତକୁ ଅରଣ୍ୟ ତୁଲ୍ୟ କଲା ଓ ତହିଁର ନଗରସମୂହକୁ ଉତ୍ପାଟନ କଲା; ଯେ ଆପଣା ବନ୍ଦୀଗଣକୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଗୃହକୁ ଯିବାକୁ ଛାଡ଼ିଲା ନାହିଁ, ସେ କି ଏହି ପୁରୁଷ?’
who made the world into a desert and destroyed its cities, who would not even open a prison for his prisoners?’”
18 ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀବର୍ଗର ରାଜାଗଣ, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତେ ହିଁ, ସମ୍ଭ୍ରମରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଗୃହରେ ଶୟନ କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି।
All the kings of the nations throughout the whole world have slept in glory, each man in his own house.
19 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଘୃଣିତ ଶାଖା ତୁଲ୍ୟ, ଖଡ୍ଗବିଦ୍ଧ ଓ ଗର୍ତ୍ତର ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ନିକ୍ଷିପ୍ତ ହତ ଲୋକ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ ହୋଇ, ଆପଣା କବରଠାରୁ ଦୂରରେ ନିକ୍ଷିପ୍ତ ହୋଇଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପଦଦଳିତ ଶବ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହୋଇଅଛ।
But you have been rejected from your grave, like a useless polluted plant, and you have been bound up with those who were slain by the sword, and who descended to the bottom of the pit, like a rotting carcass.
20 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ କବରସ୍ଥ ହେବ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦେଶ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିଅଛ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରିଅଛ, କୁକ୍ରିୟାକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ବଂଶର ନାମ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ଉଲ୍ଲିଖିତ ହେବ ନାହିଁ।
You will not be associated with them, even in the grave. For you have destroyed your own land; you have slain your own people. The offspring of the wicked ones will not be called upon for eternity.
21 ତାହାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଉଠି ଯେପରି ପୃଥିବୀ ଅଧିକାର ନ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଜଗତକୁ ନଗରରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନ କରନ୍ତି, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣର ଅପରାଧ ସକାଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ହତ୍ୟାସ୍ଥାନ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କର।”
Prepare his sons for the slaughter, according to the iniquity of their fathers. They will not rise up, nor inherit the earth, nor fill the face of the world with cities.
22 ପୁଣି, ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଉଠିବା, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ବାବିଲରୁ ନାମ ଓ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟାଂଶ, ପୁତ୍ର ଓ ପୌତ୍ର, ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିବା,”
But I will rise up against them, says the Lord of hosts. And I will perish the name of Babylon and its remnants: both the plant and its progeny, says the Lord.
23 ଆହୁରି, ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେହି ନଗରକୁ ଝିଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷୀର ଅଧିକାର ଓ ଜଳାଶୟ କରିବା ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଂହାରରୂପ ଝାଡୁ ଦ୍ୱାରା ତାହାକୁ ଝାଡ଼ି ପକାଇବା।”
And I will appoint it as a possession for the hedgehog, with swamps of water. And I will sweep it out and wear it away with a brush, says the Lord of hosts.
24 ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଶପଥ କରି କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯାହା ଭାବିଅଛୁ, ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ତଦ୍ରୂପ ଘଟିବ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେପରି ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା କରିଅଛୁ, ସେହିପରି ସ୍ଥିର ହେବ;
The Lord of hosts has sworn, saying: Surely, just as I have considered it, so shall it be, and in the same manner as I have drawn it through my mind,
25 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦେଶରେ ଅଶୂରୀୟକୁ ଭଗ୍ନ କରିବା ଓ ଆପଣା ପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ ତାହାକୁ ପଦ ତଳେ ଦଳିତ କରିବା; ତେବେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ତାହାର ଯୁଆଳି ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍କନ୍ଧରୁ ତାହାର ଭାର ଦୂରୀକୃତ ହେବ।”
so shall it occur. So shall I crush the Assyrian in my land, and I will trample him upon my mountains, and his yoke will be taken away from them, and his burden will be removed from their shoulder.
26 ସମୁଦାୟ ପୃଥିବୀ ବିଷୟରେ ଏହି ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ସ୍ଥିର ହୋଇଅଛି ଓ ଏହି ହସ୍ତ ସମସ୍ତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ଉପରେ ବିସ୍ତୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇଅଛି।
This is the plan that I have decided, concerning the entire earth, and this is the hand which is extended over all the nations.
27 କାରଣ ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ତାହା କିଏ ଅନ୍ୟଥା କରିବ? ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାରିତ ହୋଇଅଛି, ଆଉ କିଏ ତାହା ଫେରାଇବ?
For the Lord of hosts has decreed it, and who is able to weaken it? And his hand is extended, so who can avert it?
28 ଯେଉଁ ବର୍ଷରେ ଆହସ୍ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ମୃତ୍ୟୁୁ ହେଲା, ସେହି ବର୍ଷର ଏହି ଭାବବାଣୀ।
In the year in which king Ahaz died, this burden was given:
29 “ହେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟେ, ଯେଉଁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରହାର କଲା, ତାହା ଭଗ୍ନ ହୋଇଅଛି ବୋଲି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କର ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ସର୍ପର ମୂଳରୁ କାଳସର୍ପ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହେବ ଓ ଅଗ୍ନିମୟ ଉଡ଼ନ୍ତା ସର୍ପ ତାହାର ଫଳ ହେବ।
You should not rejoice, all you of Philistia, that the rod of him who struck you has been crushed. For from the root of the serpent will go forth a king snake, and his offspring will engulf that which flies.
30 ପୁଣି, ଦରିଦ୍ରର ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ସନ୍ତାନ ଭୋଜନ କରିବ ଓ ଦୀନହୀନମାନେ ନିରାପଦରେ ଶୟନ କରିବେ; ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭର ମୂଳ ନଷ୍ଟ କରିବା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟାଂଶ ସଂହାରିତ ହେବ।
And the firstborn of the poor will be pastured, and the poor will rest in faithfulness. And I will cause your root to pass away by famine, and I will put to death your remnant.
31 ହେ ନଗର-ଦ୍ୱାର, ହାହାକାର କର; ହେ ନଗର, କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କର; ହେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମୁଦାୟ ତରଳି ଯାଇଅଛି; କାରଣ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଗରୁ ଧୂମ ଆସୁଅଛି ଓ କେହି ଆପଣା ନିରୂପିତ ସମୟରେ ଦୂରରେ ଠିଆ ହେଉ ନାହିଁ।”
Wail, O gate! Cry out, O city! All of Philistia has been prostrated. For a smoke will arrive from the north, and there is no one who will escape his army.
32 ଆଉ, ଏହି ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ଦୂତଗଣକୁ କି ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଆଯିବ? ଏହି ଯେ, “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସିୟୋନର ଭିତ୍ତିମୂଳ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଦୁଃଖଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନେ ଆଶ୍ରୟ ନିଅନ୍ତି।”
And what will be the response to this news among the nations? It will be that the Lord has established Zion, and that the poor of his people will hope in him.
